"Come, just help me pack. I'm leaving the job but not any of you." Emily bumped her shoulder to his and they each got to one side of the table and started to wrap some of her items in bubble wrap. Every time she moved, she remembered how many books, were too many books.

"Thank you." Reid said calling her attention back to him.

"What?"

"Thank you for covering for me. I might still be in jail if you hadn't." Emily smiles at Reid.

"You are welcome."

"I'm not done. Thank you but I didn't ask you to. Who knows? Maybe we could have beaten the charge."

"Maybe. Now we will never know."

"And that is exactly my point. You know, sometimes it's painful when you look back in your life and realize how little choice you had in it."

"Spence, if there is something you want to say, just say it."

"All I'm saying is that it's a lot like when JJ and Hotch faked your death so you could escape from Ian Doyle. You didn't have any choice in the matter, but it's what they had to do. They fought just as hard to save your life as you did to save mine. It's what we do."

"Ye… hum… Not like this." She denied.

"It is… You want proof? Here are some examples: Michael Lee Peterson, Chad Higgins, Kathy and Jessica Evenson, Gloria Barker and Declan Doyle. This are man, woman and children you've saved at the BAU. Personally."

"But that's our job, yours, mine. That's what we do, we save lives." She tried to argue.

"Here is 8 more that need it now. David Rossi, Jennifer Jareau, Penelope Garcia, Luke Alvez, Matt Simmons, Tara Lewis, Spencer Reid and Aaron Hotchner." Her eyes had filled with tears and Reid could tell Emily was debating with herself not to fold.

"Stop."

"I don't think you understand. After Hotch left the team could have imploded, it didn't because you were there. You were there to keep us together. We don't always have a choice in what happens to us, but sometimes we do. And right now, I'm just asking you to make the choice to stay." Reid couldn't keep the emotion from his own voice, he needed her to choose them, to choose to stay with them all. "Fight for us, you know, fight for the team. It's what we do, we fight for each other." Emily was openly crying by this point, and he knew this was either when she accepted that she would be with them forever, or they would really loose her for good.

"I need to think Spence, can you give me some time to think?" Emily smiled in the middle of her tears, and he got up to hug her.

"I'll… But just because I know you will make the right choice." His phone rang and Emily to the opportunity to go to the kitchen to have some water, this was becoming a lot more complicated, Part of Emily wanted to just give in to Spencer, but the results of herself as a unit chief had been catastrophic and she wasn't sure if she should ever come back.

"Em" Spencer came looking for her.

"I need to get back to the office to get the case file, but then I'll come back here so we can unpack your stuff and you can listen in on the updates."

"Spencer…"

"I'm letting you think, I'm just giving you a hand on the right direction. And for the case, you are just a bystander who is listening to a phone conversation, nothing else." He smiled with the face of a 5-year-old who had outsmarted his mother on getting more candy.

"Fine, you can go and come back, but I'm not promising on the unpacking for now."

"Okay, I'll be back in around 40 minutes." Emily walks him to the door.

"Thank you, Spence."

"No need to thank me, we are doing this together."

Spencer was looking for the items on his desk trying to get everything he needed so that he could leave as soon as possible when his phone rang.

"Doctor Reid speaking." He answered automatically while still going over the files he needed to take.

"I need you to come to my office." Garcia's voice sounded off as she spoke in his ear.

"Does it need to be now?" He replied still not focusing on the call. "I want to get my files ready and go back over to her." He was careful not speaking her name outload.

"NOW Reid, NOW." Spender looked at the phone with worry of Garcia's tone, something had to be really off for her to be this agitated.

"Going." He ended the call and finished putting the files in his bag and started fast walking to Garcia's office.

"What's up?" He asked as he closed the door behind him.

"Did you research Emily's address today before going there?" Garcia said not looking at him.

"What? No. I've been to Emily's place plenty of times, I know the address. What's going on?"

"Since what happened to me with the Jason Clark Battle case, I've kept a research track on several of our personal information. The bureau can't allow me to close off the files, but I can keep track if there are any specific hits or research that are done to any of us." She explains while still typing away in high speed.

"Okay?"

"Emily's address was researched today by an IP inside the bureau, and that isn't that concerning except I've tried looking for who it was, but I can't. Whoever it was apparently it's someone without a fixed IP address inside the office or they used something to mask it, which makes no sense." She explains.

"But why would anyone be looking for Emily's address inside the office? Was this before she was fired?" He tried to rationalize.

"No, after she had left." She turned to look at him. "And I tried not to freak out, but the way she is being investigated, and how she was fired this started to give me chills and not the good kind. So, I kept digging and Barnes left the building after the team left for the jet. I think I should call Hotch, this is too many coincidences. What do you think?" Garcia was extremely nervous.

"Do that, I'm going to run back to Emily and stay there just to be sure nothing else will happen, I prefer to be safe." He started walking to the door. "But Garcia, just Hotch for now and please don't panic, it's still just weird coincidences and we need them to focus on the case for now."

"No panic, right." She turned back to her desk while he let himself out.

Emily hasn't been alone for 10 minutes before her doorbell rings.

"Spence? Did you forget anything?" She said while she walked over to the door. When she opened it, she took a step back.

"Miss Prentiss, please step outside and come with me." Emily knew she couldn't didn't have much of a choice.

"What for?"

"You are going to have to disappear."
