Years after her essence was sealed within the orphan girl Ada, Kaguya stirred. Though her physical form was gone, her consciousness expanded in the karmic vessel. She watched impassively as Yhwach's empire rose, built on the backs of the meek. Her partner's methods were far harsher than she would have allowed. But his machinations had brought them to the cusp of godhood. Now, the time of her awakening drew near. Deep in the imperial dungeons, Ada came of age under lock and key, tended to only by mute servants. None outside knew the precious secret she contained. She lived a life of monotony, unaware of her true purpose.

Until one day, the bored girl picked up a servant's knife and traced her skin, drawing blood. The shock awakened Kaguya's spirit sealed within. Their minds collided and merged. Memories flooded Ada's consciousness. She knew now her role in cosmic designs, and the ritual needed to return the slumbering goddess to flesh. That night, Ada stole a candle and set her room ablaze. As the flames spread, she sat calmly amidst the inferno. The servants fled screaming, alerting Hamura, who raced to intervene. But it was too late. Ada burnt to cinders, releasing a blinding spectral flash. From the light emerged Kaguya, reborn anew. Hamura stared in shock as she floated serenely before him.

"Be not afraid, my son," Kaguya spoke. "Death has released me from my bonds."

Hamura dropped to his knees. "Mother, you live?" he whispered in wonder.

"Yes. Now take me to your father and brother. Much has happened in my absence."

Hamura led her swiftly to the throne room where Yhwach sat with Hagoromo, looking up in surprise as Kaguya entered. Not waiting, she marched forward and pulled Yhwach into an embrace.

"My love, we are together again." Yhwach returned the gesture, seemingly uncharacteristically emotional. Kaguya then turned to Hagoromo, cupping his face fondly. "You have your father's strong features, but my eyes."

As they caught up, Kaguya was saddened to hear of the stern order Yhwach had imposed. Though necessary, she resolved to temper it with compassion where she could.

Over the following days, Yhwach revealed the full extent of his transcendence. Consuming the god tree's fruit had pushed his existence beyond death itself. Even destroying every cell would not erase him, for his spirit now stood outside causality. He had become truly immortal.

Kaguya could sense the dimensional power flowing through her partner. They trained relentlessly, testing their limits. Yhwach could freely open portals to shadow realm reflections of their world. By synchronizing, they folded space itself to instantly teleport across vast distances back home. Soon they would be ready to fulfill their destiny. The time had come to venture out among the stars and start their plan to eliminate the Otsutsuki threat forever. They stood atop the palace spire gazing upward as Yhwach tore open a rift leading out into the endless cosmos.

Stepping through, they emerged upon an arid, red-hued world baked by binary suns. "This planet was drained by the clan long ago," Kaguya explained. "It is lifeless now, but ruins remain we can explore."

They flew over abandoned cities, broken and half-buried, before finding a towering ziggurat temple. Passing intricate barriers, they uncovered ancient murals depicting horned humanoids rendering nature into shimmering orbs. Everything they saw was under the shadow of an ancient death ten tails tree in the vast distance in another continent.

"The harvesting," Kaguya whispered. "This was where it all began."

Further in, they found engraved stone tablets in the Otsutsuki tongue, recounting myths and legends. Kaguya translated them, uncovering secrets of her forgotten homeworld. Of great interest was the story of Shibai, a young Ootsutsuki discovering a wellspring of infinite power, which he used to ascend and remake the very fabric of reality into a nightmare reflection of his broken soul. Most of the tablest were broken like the ancient god's soul and could not fully tell the story. From this corrupted godhead came abominations like the Otsutsuki, plaguing existence like a cancerous growth. But the tablets also spoke of gems from beyond creation that could shield bearers from even Shibai's sight. Among other stuff. Then, they found it.

"To obtain Omnipotence an Ootsutsuki needed to continue the harvest..."

The arid wasteland stretched endlessly in all directions, not a hint of life in the barren expanse. Only two figures disturbed the lifeless landscape, focused intently on each other. Kaguya stood tall and regal, Byakugan eyes unblinking. Facing her was Yhwach, a subtle smile playing about his lips in anticipation. In front of them stood a humanoid covered by a cloak, his skin white, alien energies crackling around its body.

Without warning, it attacked, hands flying in mystical signs as bolts of power shot towards them. Kaguya leapt upwards, Byakugan eyes tracking the attacks as she evaded them gracefully. Yhwach raised a hand, absorbing the strikes meant for him effortlessly. The battle raged, their foe unleashing devastating techniques fueled by its strange chakra. Yhwach analyzed each move with calculating eyes, swiftly countering. Kaguya danced between attacks, striking when openings appeared with Gentle Fist strikes. But the humanoid matched them blow for blow, empowered by its seemingly endless chakra reserves.

As the fight dragged on, Kaguya and Yhwach shared a glance. This could not continue. The landscape around them was already scarred by the unleashed forces, the planet itself at risk. In perfect sync they moved, flanking their foe in an instant. Black and white orbs of primordial power bloomed above their upturned palms, swirling with ancient energy. The spheres expanded rapidly as the humanoid looked on in horror, hands raised in a futile gesture of denial.

A brilliance unlike any ever seen consumed the heavens, drowning out all sensation. When it cleared, nothing remained below but molten earth, seething and convulsing. High above, Kaguya and Yhwach observed the ravaged world emotionlessly. The planet's wounds oozed forth fire and chaos, clouds of ash swallowing all light.

Their combined blow had cracked open the very fabric of creation, annihilating everything caught in its wake. No life could endure such raw destruction. Their opponent, and all else on the planet, had been reduced to less than dust.

Already the broken world was crumbling, the fundamental forces sustaining it unraveled. Soon, only scattered fragments would remain floating in the void. Kaguya and Yhwach watched, untroubled, as the planet that had birthed the ancestors came apart. Though powerful, the humanoid had never posed true danger. Their real enemy still awaited, beyond the stars.

In eerie unison, the two cosmic entities turned away, leaving the ashes of Origin World behind. New worlds called to them, new battles to wage. Their journey was only beginning. Side by side, they sailed into the blackness between worlds, two divinities content to bide their time. Their destiny would soon reveal itself, when the real struggle began at last. Yhwach and Kaguya returned to their world armed with vital knowledge. But they emerged to a landscape scarred by calamity. Somehow, decades had passed without noticing. Their empire was reduced to wastelands roamed by ragged survivors.

As the shock settled in, a mysterious figure approached. A sage man, he introduced himself as Ashura and explained he had been born from Hagoromo, Kaguya's son who had sadly passed. Hamura too was gone, slain by his own brother Hagoromo in battle, who had become drunk on mad power.

Hagoromo had rejected Yhwach's order, seeking to overthrow his father's "tyranny" and remold creation as he saw fit. The brothers cataclysmic battle laid waste to civilization itself. In the end, Hamura had been forced to seal Hagoromo's twisted spirit within himself, erasing his soul in the process returning their chakra and reishi back to the planet. Leaving nothing but his corpse hard as stone.

Kaguya wept bitterly at the loss of her children. Yhwach's fury shook the heavens. There were dark days ahead. How had Hagoromo stumbled so far into darkness? This bleak outcome proved the order's necessity beyond all doubt.

When Kaguya's tears finally dried, her sorrow turned to resolve. Guided by Ashura's light, Kaguya and Yhwach traversed the war-ravaged lands until lush forests peeked through the devastation. "We're close now, Grandmother, Grandfather," Ashura assured, his optimism never fading despite the weary journey.

Soon they arrived at the settlement's edges, where sprouting cottages and fields promised rebirth. Ashura hailed the guards who immediately recognized their prince and allowed entry. Kaguya marveled at the industry of the refugees who had already cultivated lands for farming.

At the town center, a small greeting party assembled - healers offered refreshments while children presented flower garlands. Yhwach noticed one elder man off to the side, observing silently with piercing eyes. His noble visage reminded Yhwach of Kaguya's departed son.

"Come, let me introduce you," Ashura said. He guided them to a man about his age and another man a decade younger whose Byakugan marked him of Hamura's lineage. "Grandmother, Grandfather - please meet my brother, Indra, and cousin, Toneri. Although our clan is divided, we must reunite in these times."

Indra gave a formal bow. "Grandmother, Grandfather," - we meet at last." His tone was reserved, even weary. Toneri followed suit, lowering his pale eyes. "We welcome your wisdom in rebuilding."

Kaguya studied both men closely before speaking gently, "The war has burdened you greatly, I know this." She raised their heads to look deeply in their eyes. "But hope endures so long as we nurture it together."

Moved by her words, Indra managed a faint smile. Yhwach appraised his lineage - though worn by trauma, their will to rebuild now burned brighter.

That night, the settlement enjoyed its first feast in years. Kaguya and Yhwach were honored guests as music filled the streets. For a brief moment, laughter replaced tears.

Later, Yhwach found Indra sitting alone near the forest. "You do not revel with the others?"

"War is not easily forgotten," Indra replied. After a pause he added, "But I will try for Mother's sake...and for the future."

Yhwach nodded. "The past can guide us but must not bind us. Our true path lies ahead."

For the first time, Indra's smile reached his eyes. Yhwach knew then that hope would endure. Though darkness still loomed, tonight a family reunited under the stars.

With Hagoromo's help, she and Yhwach built a new settlement where remnants could find sanctuary. Slowly, life returned to the blighted landscape.

Though devastated, Kaguya found solace in guiding her grandchildren, Hagoromo's sons Indra and Asura. Both showed great potential, and she nurtured them lovingly. Yhwach kept his distance, still grappling with his failure.

The clan's living space grew into a thriving village, then a city. Other refugees arrived, bolstering their numbers. Bonds of camaraderie formed, though Kaguya insisted all cast aside family names to live as one people.

On an expedition, Kaguya discovered Hagoromo's ancient seal stone had been disturbed when Yhwach's portal destabilized space-time. Investigating further revealed a hidden cave where Hagoromo's spirit now stirred, corroding the boundaries of his stone prison.

Quickly, they reinforced the bindings, averting disaster. But this close call proved vigilance was needed. Thus the village guards were formed, led by Indra. Yhwach remained withdrawn, consumed with studying prophecy to avoid future catastrophes.

Life continued, but one day a rooted horror from their past returned - Hashirama, warped beyond recognition. His enslaved spirit had finally found a path back from the void of reishi. Next to him an old bald monk with a giant brush in his back came alone seeking to speak with this so call emperor of this world.

He begged for death, but they would not grant it while Yhwach's binding curse persisted. Hagoromo wept at his old friend's torment from his stone prison, shaped in the form of his brother sacrifice. This grim reminder steeled Yhwach's detachment. Mercy was not always wisdom. Hard truths must be accepted.

And so the village grew over generations. But darkness loomed on the horizon, and far away on the moon, a rift opened. The Otsutsuki still lived. All too soon, destiny would call Yhwach and Kaguya to battle once more. The progenitors of chakra prepared humanity for the coming storm, one whose ferocity would shape the world's very future.
