In which Percy and Atlas fight- and Percy is not in the best shape lol.

DannyPhantom619: Well Percy's definitely gonna be giving some unsolicited advice.
Wisestriker: Well there's definitely gonna be some shock lol. And let me tell you their timing in their arrival to camp is just top tier chaos honestly.
MK-DemiGodzilla-Warrior: Yep, yep surprise will be one of the leading emotions.
Krypton Writes: I'm afraid that for a couple more weeks it'll still probably be somewhat slow due to my situation with my holiday!
Undeath9087: Oh they'll get their heads out of their asses and it will be adorable I promise. and yeah Bianca's in a tight spot. And believe me I'm glad I've git it back too.
Avaatje: It'll be fun. And just imagine Silena's reaction- she'll be like 'Wait, wait wait wait you know her now? AHHHHHHHH!'
Guest: You'll have to see. And yeah only Grover knows about the phone call.
DarkWolfz397: Hestia's definitely the most deserving.
pvtbarton: Well I hope you enjoy the reunions when they come!
ant-death: It was never going to be smooth sailing introducing the two pantheons, and the rocky start was planned form the beginning. But, well, Percy is determined to make things work.
Percy's heart was pounding in her chest as she led the way across the rocks, letting the water lapping around their feet over the rocks fill her with strength once more, her gaze fixed on the figure waiting for them.
As they got closer Percy got a better look at him- and yes, yes she'd been right about who it was. She wished she had her Khopesh- but that was long gone, melted away in a storm of Greek fire she was sure. She had no weapon now. Sure she could probably summon up a new one but... it didn't feel right. It would almost be a betrayal. That blade had been a gift from Ra himself, a symbol of his respect for her. Of his forgiveness.
No. No she couldn't do it again- but she could wield her staff.
She summoned it from the Duat even as the ground beneath her feet turned from uneven rocks to smoother sand. Percy felt herself smile slightly as it did.
This was her domain. Atlas had chosen the wrong place to have a fight with her. Clearly Setne was still keeping his cards close to his chest. Of course he was, he wanted them to weaken one another. All the better for him to scheme and sew his seeds of chaos to gather his own power. Honestly in his own way he was probably just as dangerous as Kronos
Still, in this case it would work Percy's favor so she couldn't complain too much. And as she walked she focused.
Hurricane. She needed a hurricane, it would tilt the fight in her favor she was sure. And it would hopefully give Luke and Artemis the chance to get back to the portal's anchor point. The small statue of Ra.
Sure enough the sky started to darken, the sea turning more choppy as the winds started to pick up.
"Is-" Luke's voice was hesitant, nervous even. "Is this your doing or is it his?"
"Mine." Percy said the word calmly, "I'm summoning a storm."
"You're certainly a talented magician." there was that note of suspicion in Artemis' tone again. Percy was sure Artemis had her suspicions of the truth- and when she glanced back at the ex goddess she could see it in her narrow eyed gaze.
She wasn't certain of anything. Technically Percy could just be a very powerful magician with some quirks. Sure she wasn't but she could be.
"Damn straight I am." Percy gripped her staff tightly, "Stick close to me. On my signal you guys take off back to the statue am I clear."
"Yes." Artemis nodded, but Luke shook his head.
"You can't ask-" he was shaking his head, "You can't ask me to leave you to face down a Titan Percy. You'll die."
"This isn't a final stand Luke." Percy shot him a look "I'm not about to die-"
"Yeah, that's what everyone thinks." and it was something about the tone of Luke's voice that made her consider it.
And... ah. He was comparing her to Thalia. Not an unreasonable comparison, Annabeth had said on more than one occasion that she shared a certain level of stubbornness with her cousin. Maybe that came from being a big three kid.
Bianca and Nico were certainly capable of being ridiculously stubborn when they wanted to be.
God she hoped they were safe back home. No one would think they had been involved with the attack but if Carter and Sadie couldn't keep things calm with the Egyptians... if people found out about the children of Hades... no. No. It wouldn't come to that. There would be no war. Percy wouldn't allow it.
She pushed away the stressed thoughts, straightening her back as she kept walking.
And Atlas turned to face her. He was clad in Greek armor now, a mocking look on his face as he watched their approach.
And fine, if he wanted to go all old school she could do old school. All it took was a simple spell and Percy's clothes transformed- and she really did have to thank Ra for teaching her how to do that. She felt much more herself as the magic shifted her outfit into a familiar once- though it certainly didn't fit the same way it had when she was ten.
It was the outfit Ra had gifted her the day of that battle, a white ancient Egyptian style dress with the golden neck collar, and her armbands and wrist bands. And there was a simple metal band perched on her head, smooth metal with the Isfet symbol etched onto the front, her hair snaking out of the bun and cascading over her shoulders. And Percy knew how she looked. It was a fitting outfit for a princess of the House of Life, and the dress was easy enough to fight in. It felt comfortable on her, right in a way. It reminded her of who she was. Even the small touches like the pearls embedded in the neck collar. She was a child of two worlds. And she would defend them both in the only way she knew how.
"Do the cowards come to face me now?!" Atlas' booming voice filled the air around them. It automatically pissed Percy off.
"I don't see any cowards, Atlas!" Percy called back, keeping her back straight as she approached, "I will give you one chance. You can leave now, we need not fight-"
"Hah! I fear no petty magician. Even one who can summon a pathetic little storm. You aren't even the Eye of a god!"
"Not at this moment." Percy agreed, keeping her voice as even as she could. She would not show weakness in his presence. That would be the worst thing she could do. Beings like Atlas pounced on the first sign of weakness. "But I don't need to be acting as the Eye of Nephthys to deal with someone like you-"
"Hah! The weakest of the five too. As if you could pose a threat to me."
"I warn you. I am not a coward. I am a Princess of the House of Life, the daughter of Julius Kane and Sally Kane, descended from the line of Hatshepsut, I was the Lieutenant of Ra-" she ignored the stunned look Artemis shot her.
"Hah! Then Ra must be truly weakened." Atlas scoffed, "To have such a puny girl as his Lieutenant. Tell me Kane, what battles have you faced?"
"Only the fiercest of battles." Percy kept walking, approaching Atlas, with not a single moment of hesitation in her steps. "And yet here I stand. That should tell you something-"
"It tells me that Egypt is weak and ripe of the picking."
"Then let me show you otherwise." Percy glanced back over her shoulder at Luke and Artemis, both of whom were very pale. Clearly they needed some time to get used to the classic Percy Kane level of irreverence in impossible odds. "Run." and then she was turning and charging at Atlas- and Atlas took that as his cue too, charging towards her even as Luke and Artemis veered away, sprinting up towards the town, Artemis half dragging Luke with her as the demigod kept turning his head and glancing back, a terrified look on his face.
Percy couldn't focus on that though, she dropped and rolled under the swing of his sword, twisting and swinging her staff to direct the spell at the back of his legs. "Ha-Wi!" and the spell sliced across the back of his legs, cutting a deep gash in the back of his legs, ichor dripping down them onto the golden sand, glistening a brighter liquid gold as he roared and turned, sword slashing towards her at almost inhuman speeds.
If Percy was any less trained she'd have likely been sliced in half, but she had been fighting for what felt like a lifetime and she hadn't fully risen, so she did, propelling herself into the air, just clearing the Titans blade, bringing the staff down hard on his forearm. "Sa-mir!" and she saw his muscles jerk and twitch as the spell caused enough pain for the Titan to let out another furious roar- though it didn't stop him from swinging his other arm at her, hitting her hard and sending her soaring through the air.
Damn it all but the size difference really was a pain in the ass. He was like, four times the size of her. That sort of thing always made it awkward, still, even as she hit the sand hard and flipped she managed to use the momentum to bounce to her feet, ignoring the pain in her chest- probably broken ribs. She'd have to deal with those later.
And the storm was getting fiercer around them now, kicking up as she got more frustrated, the winds buffeting Altas' form, though he was standing annoyingly steady.
"Good! For a Magician! But come and I will show you why your people submitted to the Greeks!"
"Oh you are just begging for a beating." Percy charged again, pivoting on the ball of her foot as Atlas' sword swiped towards her again. "Maw!" the water shot out of the tip of Percy's staff, hitting the Titan in the face, snapping his head back as he spluttered- which just pissed him off more.
And the fight raged on, the storm worsening around them, Percy shooting spell after spell, blow after blow at the Titan- and getting progressively more battered- though she managed to avoid any sword injuries for a surprisingly long amount of time considering who she was facing.
Then he caught her, blade slicing across her back as she dropped and rolled to avoid the blow.
It wasn't the worst blow- Percy had certainly had more serious injuries, but still, the gash was deep, and she could feel the blood pouring from the wound almost instantly. Not good.
Especially not good when combined with the fact that she'd been tired even before beginning to fight.
She could feel that familiar heat, the exhaustion merging with it.
It would be easy to burn herself up. She had to pin him down- a gasp slipped past Percy's lips, a yell of pain as Atlas managed to catch her arm, before she could dodge, knocking her staff from her grip.
"I've got you now Magician! You are good I'll give you that but not good eno-" and Percy was desperate- the wave she summoned up, pulled using the force of the storm was tall, smashing into him at the height of Atlas' waist, forcing him off his feet, making his grip on Percy's arm slip as they were both forced under the water.
Percy felt that familiar warmth, the pain of her back easing, though she didn't waste time healing. It would stop her from dying of blood loss at least, shrink the wound slightly, though it would probably still bleed if she did much more fighting, the wound would reopen. She surged upwards, surfacing as the water receded and taking off towards the town, glancing back to see Atlas surging out of the water, bedraggled and furious as he chased her- and with his long stride it wouldn't be hard for him.
"TAS!" the ropes that formed around the Titan's arms, binding them to his side lasted for less than five seconds, as did the second lot, and he was gaining on her.
Percy focused on her powers, the rain coming down harder around them, the wind forcing him back- but it wasn't enough it wasn't enough. Percy could feel the exhaustion rolling over her. She needed to get away quickly.
She summoned two thick arms of water from the sea- and they caught Atlas' legs, each grabbing one, stopping him mid stride.
The Titan lost his balance- but he flung an arm out even as he fell, his hand catching her own legs.
Percy shrieked as she toppled, hitting the ground face first- sand digging into her skin as Atlas started to drag her backwards.
"NO!" Percy desperately tried to drag herself forward, ignoring the feverish heat, the dizziness that threatened to overcome her. She was pushing herself too much too quickly. She probably still had some of that damn drug in her
system and she was using too much magic and too much of her powers.
But what choice did she have? Percy could not let Atlas take her back to Mount Tam.
