"RJ, you okay, why so flummoxed." Nebula asked the male-kit.
"This is probably to do with the toy-drive, right." Rocket Senior added.
It was early-evening and RJ was in his room going through his toys making Nebula and Rocket understand after Rocket Senior had explained to them aboht the toy-drive they were having at school guessing the male-kit was feeling frustrated about what he should donate to the toy-drive because he knew his friends would donate cooler things plus Astro being one of Herbert's Princelijgs, he could go to the toy store on Wondergore and not have to pay because he and his sibs were royalty which Rocket and RJ knew as Rocket was the crown-prince and RJ was also a prince.
"RJ just think about the toys you and your friends play with at school, and what a kid like you would want as a holiday gift." Rocket Senior said to the male-kit seeing his anxiousness fade turning into a grin.
"We play with Lego, draw with pens or crayons, read books." he to,d him finding his Duplomblocjs he didn't play with anymore but fouhd their favourite storybook which they had lots of copies of because the baby-raccoons always destroyed it but now they were a lil bigger they could play with toys without breaking them so RJ let them play with his old toys asking Rocket Senior if this was good enough.
"Yes as you put thought into your choice, and bet your friends did when we go to school tomorrow." he told him
RJ grinned as he was getting ready for bed, while his dad and Nebula was getting his sibs ready for bed as they had playgroup but was packing his backpack for school in the morning including his donation for the toy-drive excited to see what his friends would donate plus he was making room for the new toys he'd get for Hannukah.
"Morning guys, did you bring things for the toy-drive." RJ asked the next day at pre-school seeing Rockai, Teefs and Floor nodding along with Astro entering the classroom taking their donations out of their backpacks sitting on the rug after Rocket Senior had beckoned them after they'd put their things in their cubbies only RJ noticed Rockai had brought his favourite Godzilla action figure to donate, knowing how much he loved it.
"We're gonna have show and tell about what we brought to donate to the toy-drive, then we're gonna go to the donation bins near the auditorium to donate and see I have a very big hearted class." Rocket Senior told them making them feel good they were helping other kids like them.
"I chose to donate my favourite kaju doll, Rockzilla as I loved playing with him, but I know another kid will have fun playing with him." Rockai said.
"I donated action-figures we, Harry, May and Sara don't play with much." Teefs said.
"I brought artvsupplies and markers along with crayons so the kid that gets them can makecart." Floor told them seeing Astro and RJ hadn't went yet seeing Astro grin revealing an Nintendo Switch making the other kids in awe but Rocket Senior frown listening to Astro seeing RJ had a worried look on his furry face putting his big fluffy paw on his grand-kit's shoulder
"That game looks fun Astro, but let's see what RJ brought, as I think it's just as good." he said.
"Yeah we wanba see what you hrought." Rockai said along with Devil Junior, Teefs and Floor.
"Okay so I imagined what a kid like us would want, if we were getting a gift from the drive and one of the things we play with is Lego so I brought one of my old Dupli sets but we also like stories so Indonated my favourite book so the kid can have storytime with their family." he said hearing hisfriends clap.
"Okay single file for leaving the room, and going to perform a holiday mitzvah for other kits." Rocket Senior said seeing them doing so leaving the classroom heading to where the donation bins were impressing the principal by their donations but not about the Switch Astro wanted to donate confiscating it, allowing the other donations but Rocket Senior would talk to Astro when they got back to class which they were doing letting them have free play for heing good helpers beckoning Astro over to him on the rug.
"Poir Astro, as he didn't know and hope sir isn't too mad at hin." Floor said as she was doing art while Devil Junior, Rockai and RJ were re-enacting a kaju battle with Lego noticing Rockai wasn't upset about giving Rockzilla up.
"It's okay and maybe I'll get new ones forcChristmas." he said making RJ realise this would be the first Christmas Rocke and his family making him excited stunning Rocket Senior, remembering what he'd taught the kids to do, take deep-breaths when they were excited or feeling big feelings
"RJ, take some deep-breaths okay." he said.
"Okay, sorry I made him excited." Rockai told him.
