Revolverton and Dragon Queen were Adrien's best akumas so far, it was clear that giving him Nooroo was the right choice.
"Fogive me father, i have failed you...twice" he growled.
"Ahh, my son, you have done no such thing, both Revolverton and Dragon Queen were exceptional Akumas, Ladybug simply had greater numbers, had it been just Ladybug, i have no doubt you would have suceeded." Gabriel said with a cough.
He looked at his hand to find blood upon his hand, "Damnit..."
"Father..." Adrien sighed, Nathalie told him about his father's declining health, a result of using the Butterfly Miraculous improperly, Each time he had used it, it shortened his life by one year, it was obvious that he was not long for this world...
"I am fine my son, as long as we can bring back you mother, my death will have been worth it." said Gabriel, "and couldn't have picked a better sucessor..."
Adrien smiled as he left his father with his thoughts, "Ladybug, you will be mine..." he growled.
The next day at school...
Marinette was grabbing her things for lunch, when Zoe grabbed her dragged her into the girls' room!
"Mari, we got a problem..." Zoe said.
Chloe, Sabrina, Rose and Juleka were there too.
"Spill..." said Marinette.
"After the Dragon Queen thing, we spoke to Mom, she said that when she was Akumatized, she said HawkMoth sounded younger, around Adrien's age." Chloe explained.
"You don't think..." Mari said.
"Yup, Adrien is the new HawkMoth, maby the old one was getting on in years and decided to pass the torch!" Juleka said.
"Great...just perfect...no wonder Adrien left school, well, at least we know who he is, we just need to draw him out!
"How?" asked Sabrina.
"Simple, he may have a diffrent look, but he's still Cat Noir, Impulsive, selfish, self centered, we just need to stroke his ego..."Marinette smiled...
