Chalice woke up on her birthday as Peach and Amy came in with her birthday breakfast. Chalice felt sad.
"Happy birthday, Chalice!" Peach says.
"What's wrong?" Amy asked.
"My day isn't special!" Chalice sobbed. "It's all about that dumb ding-dong of a brother today instead! Why don't we just rally around him instead?!" Chalice cried, feeling hurt.
"I hope the boys are okay. They did go out to save us all from being destroyed." Peach says.
"This isn't about that!" Chalice snapped.
"Are you mad that you share a birthday with Skylia?" Amy asked. Chalice shook her head, telling her about Cuphead and his opportunity at Smash Manor and how that party was so much more important than being there for her birthday.
Meanwhile
"Let's a go!" Mario says as the team fired their best shot, causing a massive explosion, destroying Tabau.
"Did that work?" Pit asked.
"Yep, he's dead." Meta Knight says as Delta smirks. "We did it!"
"Today is the anniversary of Smash Manor and we gotta celebrate." Sonic says.
"I gotta celebrate my mom's birthday." Angry Luigi says.
The others arrived at Smash Manor.
Aria finds Chalice. Chalice cried and broke a picture of Cuphead.
Aria shook, but went and hugged her mom. She knew she was mad at Cuphead.
Luke wasn't invited to the Smash party since Chalice's birthday was today. He tries to cheer Chalice up. Chalice looked at him and hugged him.
Lucy checked on her son. Edwin was writing poems in his room.
"Are you okay?" Lucy asked. Edwin nodded.
Chalice was soon tearing up a picture of Cuphead once she was alone.
"That stupid ding-dong thinks he can just forget my birthday?! He has another thing coming!" Chalice says, kicking the head off a Cuphead training dummy.
"I'm going to let Chalice celebrate at my castle." Peach says.
"Are you sure that's a wise idea?" Amy asked. "She looks like she wants to kill…and her Super Art at this point could really hurt someone."
"On second thought, no." Peach says.
Chalice began singing "Not Ready To Make Nice" by The Chicks as the girls walked in to watch.
With Cuphead and the others, the music fired up as the party began. Cuphead was doing the soda challenge
"Hey guys, I think today is Chalice's birthday." Delta says.
"What?" Snake asked.
"Aren't Cuphead and Chalice siblings?" Meta Knight asked as the music stopped.
"Low blow!" Bowser says.
"Dude, how could you?" Mega Man says
"She saw you as a brother. No, wait, you are her brother." Ness says.
"I just wanted to feel important. I mean it's not every day the multiverse is centered around me." Cuphead says.
"Way past uncool!" Sonic says.
"Mama mia…" Mario sighed.
"How could you?!" Crumbelina asked.
"Wait, aren't you an Arcade character?" Link asked.
"I invited her." Jason says.
"I get to stay, right?" Cuphead asked.
"No!" Delta says.
On Earth…
"Happy birthday, mommy!" Emma says. Skylia smiles a little.
Alem tuber got her a new mug as Skylia smiled. "Thanks, Randy." Skylia says.
With Chalice, she cried into Amy's dress.
"It's okay, you can still celebrate. Want me to drag your brother back?" Amy asked.
"HE'S DEAD!" Chalice shouted.
"Chalice, you can't kill him." Amy says.
With Skylia, she danced with Bob as her kids cheered.
"I'm so happy!" She says.
"Happy birthday, babe." Bob says.
Cuphead was taken back to Earth. He gulped, knowing he would have to face Chalice's wrath.
He goes to see her. Chalice had her back turned.
"Look, Chalice, I…" Cuphead says. He then gets nervous.
"I'm what?" Chalice says, clearly annoyed.
"Sorry for leaving you alone on your birthday. I shouldn't have done that." Cuphead says, clearly ashamed.
"I guess I can forgive you." Chalice says.
They arrive at Peach's castle for Chalice's grand entrance. Chalice had been practicing this for weeks. In secret, of course. She waited for her introduction.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor to present the queen of the Inkwell Isles and the mistress of charm herself…may I present to you all, the amazing Mrs. Chalice!" Luke says.
Chalice smiles as she appears. She then does her "Turnin' Up The Charm" song like she practiced.
Everyone cheered for Chalice.
Chalice soon explored the party. There was food and snacks and a few gifts.
Luna came on stage a few minutes later.
"Hello, everyone!" Luna says.
Everyone cheered.
"Today I'm going to perform a special song for a very special birthday girl. With the help of her brothers, of course." Luna says. They soon begin to sing.
Meanwhile, Kat and Ana stuff their faces as the heroes dance.
"Okay, who wants a fun 1 on 1?" Delta asked.
"Me!" Bowser says.
Meanwhile, Skylia saw her piñata and smiled as she got a magic wand and zapped it as candy spread out everywhere.
Meanwhile, Luna and the cups sing for Chalice. Chalice smiled. This meant a lot to her, seeing her brothers perform for her.
They soon finished as Chalice clapped for them.
She opened a few gifts. She saw Luke's gift, which was in a Victoria's Secret box. It was new lingerie.
"Luke, I love it." Chalice says.
Meanwhile, King Dedede tried to whack Delta with his mallet as Delta leaped up and kicked him, causing the king of Plant Pop Star to bounce around. Delta shot a blast, sending him out. Kirby cheered.
Later, they play games like target practice as Jason takes notes.
Then they did a skill showcase. Mario jumped and punched a sandbag and used a spin jump uppercut combo. Sonic used a bunch of homing attacks on the sandbag
Meanwhile, Chalice and Luke danced.
"My love, I can't wait to see you in that lingerie later…" Luke says.
Chalice smiled as they twirl around.
Later, Lucy was planning Luke's half birthday. She planned target practice and the drone show.
She noticed Edwin as she wanted him to feel comfortable.
Chalice went to wear her lingerie. Luke smiled seeing this, excited about getting it off of her later.
Cuphead had hot dogs and began to eat.
Emila performs a magic show for Skylia as Skylia enjoys this.
Meanwhile, the heroes were playing the limbo game.
"I'll go extra low." Delta says and goes really low
"Okay, I gotta go." Delta says and speeds off as Chrissy follows.
Mario speaks in his style, explaining they should get to the piñata.
Later, Savannah and Tina performed a song for Chalice's birthday. Chalice smiled at this and loved it.
After that, she broke her piñata open with a double-edged eighteen-iron golf club, making it rain candy. After getting her share, she sat in the castle atrium, remembering lots of things, but one memory stuck out to her like a sore thumb. The times where Mugman won Student Of The Month so many times. And how she never got it even once. She was a good student, but no one knew it. They loved Mugman more.
"This August is our band's 7th anniversary." Cuphead says
"Yeah!" Luke says. Chalice felt too angry at the moment to care.
Meanwhile, Clover was performing at Skylia's birthday
"Awww, you're really good." Skylia says
"Yeah, I'm going to enter Audition next week." Clover says.
"That's great!" Skylia says
Savannah got the cake as Skylia smiled. "Wow, you really outdid yourself!" She says.
"Thanks!" Savannah says.
It was a vanilla cake with wand candles that said "Happy 105th Birthday, Skylia!"
Everyone began to sing and Skylia wished Clover would have a good future.
There was a car driving away with the police after it.
"Okay, we got this." Delta says and speeds after it.
Skylia sighed, feeling old.
With Chalice, Luke brought out the cake as she gasped.
It said "Happy Birthday, Mommy!"
"Aw!" Chalice says as Aria lit the candles.
Everyone began to sing as Chalice couldn't help but look at the cake. It was super sweet.
Chalice sighed wishing she could have gotten one student of the month award and for Aria to win. She blew the candles as everyone cheered.
"How old are you, love?" Luke asked her.
"You can't ask a woman's age." Chalice says, annoyed that he didn't know she was 25, just like he was. Luke looked embarrassed.
"Guys, what song should we play in August?" Beau asked. Chalice stormed off, annoyed.
Meanwhile, Delta had made quick work of the robbers and smirked.
"All done." Delta says
"You think we have any more things to do here?" Chrissy asked
"Nope, Earth got boring. I'm thinking of heading out on brand new adventures." Delta says. She then speeds off, leaving a trail of dust and stars. Chrissy smiled and sped after Delta.
Angry Luigi sighed, wondering about the future.
Meanwhile, a bunch of fireworks went off as the princesses came in and saw the smash fighters still celebrating, but it was clearly wrapping up.
"Oh, Peach, you missed the party." Master Hand says.
"I was at a different party, guys. Thanks for teaching Cuphead a lesson." Peach says.
"No problem." Pit says.
"Wait, are those the Sugar Rush Racers?" Daisy asked.
"Yep." Jason says, about to leave.
"What is with the notes?" Bill asked.
"Ideas for Luke's birthday and half-birthday." Jason says.
"Like you have time for that. You're just going to go to your farm." Bill says.
"Kinda." Jason says and heads off to do his own thing.
Everyone was heading home. Chalice was already back in the Inkwell Isles, and was clearly lost in thought.
Luke was thinking. "They're going to choose Oliver over me. I know it." Luke says, hissing.
"Daddy, stop it." Aria says.
"Go to bed." Luke says as Sam and Luna come in.
"You heard him, Aria. It's bedtime." Luna says.
"I can't sleep with Daddy ranting all over the place." Aria says.
"Your father just gets upset." Sam says.
With Clover, she was looking over some songs to use for Audition, but sighed. Because of Luke and Oliver, most musical shows had tag team formats. She needed a partner. She knew Jackson and Aria were in ANH. She then thinks of Joe.
Aria finally settles down enough to go to sleep. Chalice was laying awake as Luke was sleeping soundly.
All Chalice could think about was the Student Of The Month thing. Her eyes welled up with tears as she cried herself to sleep.
