Chapter 15

It took 3 more months for Callie to persuade Arizona to move in and another 3 months for Arizona to propose. A year later they had been married by Miranda Bailey at the rehab centre in the barn next to the horses. Arizona's parents had corralled everyone at the rehab centre to help making huge flower arches, and decorating it perfectly.

Callie walked down the aisle first, wearing an Ivory wedding dress, that had a lace bodice with a line skirt, the lace continuing down her dress. Her father walked on her arm, her mother on the front row with Aria and Mark. She glared at Mark as she walked down, not liking how close his arm was to her sister. Aria was just getting out of a relationship and Mark loved Lexie, them being together would be messy, and she'd be in the middle. She waited at the top of the isle, for only moments before Arizona entered.

Arizona had also opted for ivory, with dropped shoulders, A-line that had flowy sleeves, looking like a Grecian goddess.

Both women stared at each other stunned at the beauty, before Daniel gently guided Arizona down the aisle handing her to Callie. Arizona kept her eyes on Callie truly taken aback by her beauty.

"You look beautiful" Arizona whispered, finding her breath taken away.

"You too" Callie replied her heart filling as Arizona gave her the super magical smile she loved so much,

"I love you Calliope Torres" Arizona whispered,

"I love you too Arizona Robbins" Callie replied,

"Thank you for fixing me" Arizona said sincerely staring into Callie's eyes, thanking everything she had met her, her soul mate, her true love.

"We fixed each other" Callie said sincerely, she had been broken before meeting Arizona bouncing from one failed relationship to another. It felt like meeting Arizona was like meeting the other half of her heart, the person who completed her.

"We are here today to witness a union of love" Miranda began, "Arizona and Callie, today you become one, under God, under Country, under law. They have agreed to exchange their own vows." She said keeping it simple.

Callie stepped forwards, her normal nerves at public speaking gone staring at Arizona's blue eyes, she felt a calmness settling over her.

"Arizona, I have written and re written these thousands of times, because words don't seen to be able to express just how much I love you. I promise love and care for you on your good days and bad. I promise to be your partner, to make your dreams my dreams. I will work hard every day to make you happy as you make me. I promise to care for you and your family in sickness and in health and cherish every day, because with you every day is special. I promise to always feed you coffee and doughnuts and to love you more every day" Callie finished, gently wiping the tears that fell down Arizona's face.

"Wow, and I thought I was good at speeches" Arizona said. "Calliope, my muse, I didn't know how empty my life was until I met you, you complete me, in ways I never knew possible. From this day forth, I promise to listen to you and learn from you, to support you and accept your support. I will celebrate your successes and mourn your losses as though they were my own. Your love and trust makes me a better person, each and every day. For all those times that we've been together, there's always been a mutual understanding that's only shared when two people love each other truly. You were there for my greatest challenges. You encouraged me to grow. You helped believe in myself and become the person that I am today. In your arms and by your side, I know I can do anything and what I want to do more than anything is to become yours, I love you," Arizona said.

"The rings" Miranda said, Mark passed Callie her ring as Tim passed Arizona her's, they each place a ring on the others finger, each matching, and engraved, CRT, ATR 22.02.2017 for eternity.

"With these rings I pronounce you, wife and wife" Miranda celebrated "you may kiss the bride" Miranda said, neither Callie or Arizona needed to be told twice leaning in gently cupping the other persons face for their first kiss of married life.

"Hello Mrs Torres- Robbins" Callie whispered, staring at her beautiful wife.

"Hello Mrs Torres-Robbins" Arizona replied grinning back, they'd decided to hyphenate with Callie's name first so her initials didn't spell Art.

"Congratulations" Barbara said running over to huge her new daughter as Lucile did the same for Arizona.

"Sister" Tim said hugging Callie, in the months since going to rehab he had improved in strides. His flashbacks were a lot less often, which meant so were his violent outbursts. His speech had improved as had his memory. Every day he became more like the Tim everyone remembered before Iraq.

"Brother" Callie said hugging him just as tightly back, while Arizona watched still struggling to believe her luck, her family was amazing, her wife, her brother, her parents, her in laws. Life might not always be perfect, but right here, for Arizona at least it was pretty close.

The end,

Please let me know what you think, I really struggled to end this one,
