Hey all! I'll be honest, I forgot about updating this story after rewriting this chapter seven or eight times. I'm back on track though and should be pumping out more chapters.

Fun fact: While I haven't been updating, that doesn't mean I stopped writing. I've just been writing whatever thing my muse threw at me. That includes a Naruto story, two Harry Potter stories, a pokemon story, a Danny Phantom/Monster High story, and a Percy Jackson story. No idea if any of these will see the light of day. If they were to, they would play second fiddle to this story and the possible follow up.

Chapter 44-

(Izuku)

"Wait, repeat that?"

The small black pixie screeched at him. He sighed and gestured for it to go. Talking through the mental link he shared with the army of creatures, he commanded them. 'Follow their trails and report back.' There was no reply, but why would there be?

"What did it say?" Asked Melissa.

"I think it found traces of humans in the maintenance hallways under the island. It says it's siblings can smell blood, and they're hunting right now."

"Hunting?"

He nodded and looked at her as she looked down at him as he worked on the axe. "They're called Slaughs. They feed on the dead and go into a hunting frenzy when they smell blood. The instant they find where the trails lead, they'll start feasting. I put a line of code in them that the instant they touch flesh, the magic that sustains them will be broken. Other than that, they make for excellent spies and can get in anywhere air can."

Using an arm of gravity, he picked up the axe and threw it into the portal he had Misaki calculate. It led to the middle of nowhere in outer space and if she calculated correctly, it would float into another portal a couple meters away and into the sun.

He turned to Tsu, who had requested to help, even if she wasn't allowed to fight. Aizawa forbade her from fighting, saying that no more students were allowed to help. He already wasn't happy with Nezu for allowing his students to help in the first place. He was especially mad at All Might for starting this whole thing. "Tsu, send out a check."

She nodded and put a finger to her ear. Speaking as precisely as possible, under the scrutiny of Aizawa and two officials of the World Hero Association, she talked over the radio that blared over the intercom in the workshop. "All teams, Status reports."

After a few seconds, Bakugo's voice came through. His normal anger was still there, but was far more subdued. "Team Alpha, Bakugo, clear."

"Team Beta, Tanimoto, clear." One of the group's representing Gang Orca.

"Team Charlie, Sever, clear." Kaminari was with Sever, the two of them were on bomb defusing duty.

"Team Delta, Maki, all clear." Another group of Gang Orca.

"Team Echo, Creati, clear." While they wouldn't like it, he hoped they weren't needed.

"Foxtrot, Nanny, clear." Ingenium's sidekicks. Half were in plain clothes hidden amongst the party goers, the other half were keeping watch in the hallway outside of the banquet room.

There was a brief pause, but Banter's voice came through. "Team Gamma, Banter, clear."

To both the room and the radio, he announced. "I want everyone to keep their eyes peeled. As far as we know, they should show up within the hour."

The radio stayed silent as he nodded to Mei. Nodding back, she tapped a button and sent out the message. Every hero connected to the Hero Network and on I-island was sent a message that would not turn off until it was read. While ominous, the message was straight to the point.

"Attention! The WHA has issued an alert status for I-Island. All available heroes are being asked to prepare for a possible disaster scenario within the next two hours. Please strive to keep yourselves and civilians safe from harm."

They were only allowed to do this because the WHA approved it, after fighting tooth and nail with I-Island's council. The council, in all their money hungry wisdom, self deemed their security and safety measure only comparable to Tartarus. He wasn't there for the meeting, but he heard from his principal that the French ambassador, Mr Belmont, was particularly peeved.

"Gamma, anything?"

"Negative, we thought there was a blip for a second, but it went away. Want us to check it out?"

"Negative, where did the blip take place?"

"Basement floor 3, Southeast corner. We detected a single heat source before it went away."

Nodding to himself, he spoke over the radio again. He was speaking to the group closest to the basement. "Foxtrot, send a small force to check it out, no less than five capable of combat and one capable of long range communication." With the help of Iida, he sorted through all of the sidekicks and separated them out by their capabilities.

"Will do, Command. Lady Kitsune, Beak, Cap, App, Kama, and Dark, head down to the basement. App, you're to report immediately upon finding what's down there." There wasn't a response over the radio, but they heard her. "Team away, standby."

Lady Kitsune, an older woman, with the ability of mirages, specially trained with a war fan dipped in hallucinogenic poisons. Good hero for capturing. Beak, aka Steel Beak, mutant hero who is part hawk. Claws made of metal and sharp enough to slice through hero metal. Capitalize, by drawing a word on paper, the word will come alive under his control. Weird power, but he had a kid in his school who could shout words into existence, so not too weird. App, an emitter hero, her phone wasnt a simple piece of technology, it was a part of her and gave her enhanced sight and hearing. The problem was she legitimately couldn't see, or hear without it. Kama, the male version of Ms Midnight, the two had a lot of beef between each other. Dark, aka Black Night, could create shadow clones of himself that acted like a mix between liquid and air.

All together, it was a solid team. All that was left to do was find the bombs and wait.

(Melissa)

Her nerves were spiking. Today was supposed to be a happy day, her dad and uncle reuniting, a good dinner amongst heroes, and a small dance. Now it was just a crisis wrapped in anxiety.

Sighing, she slid into the chair next to Mei.

"What's up?" Asked the girl.

"I don't know what I'm going to do after all this is done."

Mei raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you an inventor?"

"I know what I want to do, I meant where? I can't exactly work here, I'd get so many weird looks from everyone."

"Idiots, all of them. Come work for me."

"Work for you?"

Mei smiled. "I have a sugar daddy that bought me a whole building and equipment."

A small spark of fire flew across the room and smacked into Mei's forehead. "Don't ever call me that again."

Rubbing the spot, she tried a new name. "Money Honey." Another spark. "Candyman." Flick. "Baby Benefactor?"

"Mei!"

"Fine, how about just Sugar?" He growled at her. "That's not a 'no'."

She couldn't help the laugh that escaped her lips when Mei looked back at her and dodged a flicker with a smirk. "What type of work are you hiring me for?"

"General Manager and head of RD. I can't be bothered to keep track of employees."

"What about you? What will you do?"

"Vice-President. I'll be making and experimenting, when I finish something, I'll hand it off to you."

"Not president?"

She smirked and stucked a thumb at Izuku. "That's his job, he's better with money than me. Also, do you want me to have final say in business decisions?"

That was a point. The little bit she talked to the girl, she could easily tell she was more interested in figuring out how stuff worked and making it better than business. "Fair enough."

"So, what do you say?"

"Pay me decently, and you have yourself a GM."

She instantly turned to Izuku, who was answering a question of a WHA official. "Sugar! I need a hiring contract written up for Shield!"

She laughed when Mei had to drop to avoid the ball of fire that went hurtling toward her.

(Kendo)

"This is boring. The last time I had a mission with you, we were battling Gang Orca and Nomus."

Maki smiled. "Sorry Angel, not every mission is going to be high octane."

The six men in the group laughed at the dirty look she sent Maki, the only person on her side and hated the name was the only other girl in her group, Moto. She hated it because it made her sound weak, Moto hated it because it sounded like a bunch of old guys flirting with her, which was another valid reason to hate the name.

"Knock it off you guys, leave the girl alone."

Maki smirked and pulled out his private radio, switching to their private Orca line. Radioing Beta and Gamma, he smirked at her. "Hey Banter, Angel doesn't like the nickname you gave her, have anything to say about that?"

Before he could respond, Old Man Tanimoto piped up. "Ms Kendo, I personally think the name suits you perfectly, you remind me of a Valkyrie from the old Norse tales." Her cheeks went red, causing Maki to laughed even more.

Banter chose that moment to speak. "How else would you describe yourself?"

She groaned and walked to the other side of the conference room they had taken over. Pulling out her phone, she text the girls.

K: How's it going?

Momo: The girls are complaining about being stuck in a room.

K: Better than being stuck in a small room with 6 guys.

Momo: Noted, what's up?

K: need a break from the goon squad

Momo: Shouldn't be much longer now, hang in there. Try to stay sane!

K: don't leave me!!!!!

K: Traitor!

3rd basement floor

(App)

The six of them got off the elevator and heard it retreat back up. That was weird, no one should be using the elevator.

Kama sighed. "Which way is Southeast?"

Lady Kitsune pulled out her phone, studied it briefly before pointing at a direction. "Should be this way." The woman looked over at the smallest of them. "App, keep your senses sharp, you hear or see anything, immediately send a message to Nanny."

The young woman nodded, her blank eyes looking down at her phone. Born as any other human, she was a happy baby, that changed when she got her quirk. A little bit after her third birthday, her hearing and sight started disappearing. By the time she was four, she was a modern day Hellen Keller. It was during that first terrible week of not hearing or seeing anything, that her sight and hearing came back. It was blurry and muffled, but she could see faint light emitting from a corner and herself sniffling.

Thinking her senses were coming back, she excitedly got up, but was confused when her sight didn't change. Though, she could hear the sound of fabric ruffling and her own excited breathing. When the sight still didn't change, she collapsed back to her bed, kicking her nightstand. That was when her vision shifted violently and the sound of the hit was amplified. From there, she found the phone that allowed her to see and hear at a level only dogs could hear and eagles could see at.

Holding her phone up down the long hallway, she immediately started typing out a message when the lights started blinking. The first thing she heard caused her ears to ring and her vision to go spiraling. She screamed when the feeling of wetness and pain started coming off her hand.

"Lights! All of you!" Commanded Kitsune.

By the time the five able members pulled out their phones and got the flashlights going, the lights flickered off. As for her, she started scrambling for her phone, which was down the hallway. The glass was cracked making her vision funny. While the phone could eventually repair itself, the pain in her hand that was making her cry and tear up was probably missing pieces of it.

"Kama! Get App out of here!" Shouted Kitsune. "Cap, start writing. Be-!"

The bang of a gun made her ears ring, but she could hear the sound of footsteps and gurgling.

"Sorry folks, but we have a schedule to keep."

What followed was her listening to her friends getting gunned down, barely able to put up a fight as she could hear the sound of metal scrapping. By the time she finally crawled over to the phone, she had gunshot wounds riddling her body. She finished typing out the message with tear filled eyes and terror going through every fiber of her core. As she went to hit send, the world went black and pain radiated out of her other hand.

The mic on her phone still worked though, despite the broken camera. She could hear the gruff voice of the villain. "Sorry Girlie, boss's orders."

The last thing she saw was black, and the last thing she heard was the click of a gun.

(Izuku)

They waited quite awhile with no message. "Tsu, ask for an update."

"Foxtrot, any update?"

It took a second, but they got back to her, unfortunately without good news. "Negative, we haven't heard a word."

"Check in with Gamma and see if they have anything." He ordered Tsu.

"Gamma, do you have visuals on the away team?"

Banter came online. "Negative, nothing."

Melissa looked at him in alarm. "That's not possible, unless they already hacked the security system remotely."

"Which is impossible, I-Island's security system is so tight it would take another super computer a few hours to try to crack it." Finished Mei.

He narrowed his eyes. Pulling out his phone, he dialed up Kendo and gave a signal to Tsu to cut the mic. Getting a nod from her, he waited for his friend to pick up.

"Hello, Izuku?"

"Put me on speaker for only your team to hear, turn off all radios temporarily."

(Kendo)

Something was wrong, she could tell by his voice, it was serious and lacked his normal ease. "Sure, one second." Putting a hand over the mic, she looked at Maki and made eye contact with him. Giving him the Gang Orca signal for radio silence, he squinted his eyes and nodded. Switching off his two radios and taking another from Moto, then turning it off as well, he gave her a nod.

Putting her phone on speaker, and placing it on the center table, she gave Izuku the go ahead. Every member of their group was listening with rapt attention.

"I have reason to believe Team Gamma is compromised or already eliminated. Do you have a way to confirm this?"

Maki raised an eyebrow at the phone, but nodded. "We have a secret code, want me to test them?

"Please."

"Kendo, mute the mic, let him listen. For reference, Moto?"

The voice of Crew Orca nodded. "The motto of Crew Orca is The pod protects, hunts and lives together, this is fairly common knowledge. However, all team leads know a password that changes after it's been used in a real life scenario. The password for the last four years has been falls together."

Maki nodded and pulled out his own Crew Orca radio. Switching it on with slightly shaky hands, everyone watched with wide eyes as he spoke. "Hey, Banter?"

"What?" He sounded bored, which wasn't too far off how he felt when doing a dull job.

"The pod…"

"What?"

"The pod…"

"Maki, what the hell are you saying?" He sounded annoyed. Moto slammed her hand into the table and Fujimori threw his chair into the wall. That's when it hit her, Banter, the nicest, talkative, and funniest person in the Crew was dead. She felt tears welling up at the corners of her eyes.

Maki's eyes went dark and he slammed the radio into the table before picking it up again. "Answer me goddammit. The pod…" She could see tears falling down his face. Banter and Maki had graduated together and spent a lot of time training together. They were good friends, just not best friends.

When the fake didn't answer, the radio, aided by Maki's quirk, went flying and embedded itself into the wall. Still able to speak, Izuku spoke to all the tearful members of Crew Orca. "I'm sorry for your loss. I'll head over and deal with the fake squad."

Maki grabbed her phone and unmutted it. "No, we'll go. He hurt our family, our brothers and sisters are dead, they'll go down by our hands."

"No! Your emotions are compromised, you'l-" They could hear an announcement over Izuku's mic. "Team Foxtrot is down, I repeat Team Foxtrot is down!" She could hear the annoyance and anger in Izuku's voice as he growled. "Fine, take them down, don't let anyone else die today." With that, the call ended.

Maki slid her phone over to her. Looking at the group, the man, her mentor, her friend, wiped his tears and stood. Anger and sadness etched into his face, he spoke clearly to all of them. "These fuckers are going down, as team lead, I accept full punishment for what's about to happen." He gave each of them a hard look. "Bring the rage of our family down upon them."

As one, they stood and marched down the hall. Her heart hurt, but was alight with an unholy fire.

(Izuku)

As soon as the call ended, he threw his phone across the workshop, exploding it as it hit the steel-lined walls. He looked at Tsu. "Step away from the controls." She looked at him questioningly, but when he didnt say anything else, she stood and stepped away from the controls.

Walking over, without a moment's hesitation, he pressed the button with the Greek symbol for Gamma and infused it with mana. "May you rest in hell."

They had just initiated the lock down and announced the bomb threat. Mocker gave away their presence, but it hardly mattered to them, it was too late anyway. The man was still wearing the radio that connected them to the hero's network, and no one expected what happened next.

One moment they were rushing to get stuff done, the next they heard a sharp mechanical whistle followed by a pop. The leader of the group, Swordkil, turned to see Mocker's head turned into a fine red mist. The man's body was rested in the chair that was quickly becoming red. Cursing, the man ushered his men to work faster.

(Izuku)

No one knew what he did. Everyone just assumed that the radio short circuited and that was it. Unfortunately for the person wearing the radio, he put an explosive rune tied to the radios. They could only be activated by him as they were keyed to his mana. He had just possibly killed a man, but at this moment, he didn't care.

Taking a step back, he allowed Tsu to take her seat again. They waited in silence for a bit until the radio came to life. "The heroes are bound and several of the surviving members of Team Foxtrot are wrapped in bomb vests. The villains just went up the stairs."

"Tsu, tell Charlie to prepare themselves. Get the goggles on and start counting down. Inform the teams that Team Gamma is down, we can't trust the security system."

As she told Sever and Denki to start preparing for their part, he closed his eyes and sighed. Having planned a backup in case the security system was compromised, he had invisible runes of sight strewn across the hallways and elevators they were forced to use.

Aizawa chose that moment, to rest a hand on his shoulder. "It's not your fault."

He nodded and listened to the count down.

"Nine. Eight. Seven."

Mentally, he cheered Kaminari on. He knew the guy could do it.

"Six. Five. Four."

Mei and Melissa went over to the window that over looked the banquet hall.

"Three."

He took a breath in.

"Two."

He let it out.

"One."

"You can do it, Lightning God."

"Chargebolt away, stand by for Alpha."

Every person in the room held their breath as they waited.

Five seconds went by before they breathed a collective sigh.

"Charlie Phase 1, done. Proceeding to Phase 2."

Tsu started counting again. "Ten."

A slaugh appeared from a shadow jittering like mad.

"Nine."

"We found holes to the ocean!" It screeched.

"Eight."

"What?" He asked.

"Seven."

"Holes!" It yelled in reply.

"Six."

"They didn't."

"Five."

Aizawa, who was still standing next to him, looked at him. "What's wrong?"

"Four."

"The bombs are under the island, in the water."

"Three."

He turned to Mei and Melissa. "You two with me!"

"Two."

Both girls looked at him, confused. Opening a portal, he cast a spell on each of them and shoved them in.

"One. Alpha engage."

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw every light above a certain point in the building across the street go completely dark. Jumping in after the girls, he found himself in the ocean beneath I-island.

Looking over at the two girls, who had developed gils, he spoke to them. "I need you two to defuse the bombs under the island." He looked at the slaugh that followed him. "Show us the way to the first hole."

Both girls were pulled along as he quickly dashed after the shadow.

(Bakugo)

"Chargebolt away, standby for Alpha." Said Asui.

He growled just lightly enough that only Kirishima could hear him. "Hurry up ya damned Tazer, don't fail."

Shitty Hair behind him smirked. "Kaminari got's this."

The prediction was proven correct when blondies' superior came on the line. "Charlie Phase 1, done. Proceeding to Phase 2."

Frog girl instantly started counting down. The nerd had explained he created a device that allowed for long range viewing not tied to the security system. They were the ones who set the little marbles up in the hallway and elevator for it to work. Speaking of, they could hear the quiet hum of the elevator as it start approaching. Signaling for everyone to get ready, he stretched his neck. As the Iida brothers hid in the shrubbery on either side of the elevator shaft, Kirishima and Todoroki went upward and attached themselves to the tower in the center of room.

Standing front in center, he started building up the sweat in his palms, readying himself for battle. They waited as the froggie counted down and when it hit 1, there was a ding at the elevator. They had rigged the elevator to stop on this level, not only because it was a nice wide open area to fight in, but because it allowed for an ambush.

As the elevator came to a complete stop and the door opened, a massive burst of electricity raced through the building, short circuiting everything it went through. That included the elevators, forcing the enemy to get off. They expected the second group of enemies to get the elevator working in under a minute, but that was all they needed.

"Team Charlie, Phase 2, done. Alpha go." Came the tired voice of Chargebolt.

He gave the group of enemies a savage grin as he reached for his right ear. "Alpha engaging, Bakugo out." Taking out the ear piece, he stuffed it into his pocket.

The leader, which they still didn't know the name of sneered at him. "We threatened the entirety of I-island and they send a kid at us?"

Getting into his fighting stance, he gave the order to Icy-Hot. With a single swipe of his pointer finger, he launched himself into a spin and rocketed at the men. "I'll show you what a kid can do to you, you ugly ass shitshow!"

Kicking up as much dust as he could alongside his superior mobility, he dodged the hail of bullet fire and slammed into a metal barrier that sprang up between him and the enemy. At the same time, a thick wall of ice separated the two nerds from their captors. "Red!" He yelled.

Balled up and acting as a cannonball in a makeshift ice cannon, Kirishima grimaced when he heard the shout. "I'll keep the temperature low." Apologized Todoroki.

Red Riot gave him a smile. "Thaa-!" Without warning, Todoroki combined his ice and fire, creating a makeshift explosion that detonated the ice cannon and sending its one and only bullet at the enemy below them.

Having more speed than he was used to Kirishima having, he had to act fast. Changing the momentum, he tossed a grenade over the wall and slid around the metal wall. Holding up a hand at the gun pointed at him, he yelled. "Plaster Shot!"

A low yield explosion went off, hitting the grenade, causing an explosion of smoke and fire to consume the villains. That was when Kirishima came into the scene. Slamming into the ground and creating an impact crater, Kirishima separated the group into three. Instantly, he was on the leader and one of his lackeys.

Glasses and his older brother came into the fight. The youngest going for the two scientist, and grabbing the pair just in time as a hand the size of Fat Gum came crashing through the ice. The older of the two was fighting a group of three lackeys.

"Now you've really ticked me off kid. Daigo, kill the kid." The thick necked man nodded and jumped at him, only for him to blast out of the way, leaving an explosion in his wake. When the explosion settled, he watched as the man was replaced with a purple hulking monster that threw itself at him.

Waiting until the last second, he blasted upward and left a trail of sweat midair, that he ignited as a distraction. Slapping a hand on the man's back, he immediately pulled a gauntlet pin. "Die!"

One second, the purple brute was there, the next, he was slamming into the reinforced concrete and steel walls. With a grin, he turned to the leader and was nearly impaled by a rod of metal that came from the ground. Rocketing toward the man, and dodging further spears, he got into the man's guard. "Go to hell!" He unleashed an explosion that rocked the ground and just as he was about to celebrate his victory, a hand grabbed his out stretched arm. With strength the man shouldn't have had compared to his size, he was hurtled backward, going near Mach 1 and slamming into the wall.

Just as he hit the wall, he softened the impact with an explosion that destroyed the wall. He had been sent outside and flying toward the nearby skyscraper. Getting himself under control with a growl, he righted himself and launched himself back into the hole, only for a meaty hand to grab and slam him into the floor, causing a crater to form.

With a groan and growl in one, he twisted and unleashed an explosion at the purple brute's junk. Having a sense of self preservation, the man covered his junk and let him go. Using the explosion, he rocketed himself toward the the leader, only to find another one of his lackeys protecting him. Giving himself a spin, he used Howizter Impact to try and get rid of the man, but something caught him midair.

"Gale, help Daigo. I'm getting the cargo." Said the leader.

"You got it boss." Replied the woman.

He tried to free himself, but every time he tried to break the hold on him, he saw her squeeze her hands tighter. Letting explosions off in an effort to break her hold, he was greeted by a hand grabbing his leg. As soon as it had him, the pressure was gone and he was slammed into the cement floor. Just as the brute was going to slam him again, a pillar of ice slammed into the man's head sending him reeling forward. Capitalizing on the distraction, he slammed a hand into the broken up cement next to him and caused a massive dust to expand outward.

He kept his eyes focused on the air around him and watched for the woman's quirk to become active. Just as he caught sight of the dust moving from some invisible force, he rocketed to the side and then forward as fast as he could. Unfortunately he wasn't fast enough, or there was more to the girl's quirk, because she simple waved her hand at him, sending him ricocheting backward. Blasting himself into the air, he observed the situation.

(Kirshima)

That hurt like all hell, even with his quirk. At least it wasn't as hot as Todoroki could make it, he had fought the guy before when he made them hotter. He didn't have much time to collect himself as some guy turned into a green puddle and started snaking his way at him. Having met Mina and knowing what acids could do to him, he ran, stumbling at the start. Even if the guy wasn't acid, and was some other kind of liquid, there wasn't anything he could do. He needed help.

His prayers were answered when a glacier consumed the slime man and picked him up to bring him to Todoroki, who was having his own issues. One of the villains, a thin man who seemed to be nothing but bone was attacking Todoroki with steel batons that floated and danced around him. As the glacier stopped, he heard Todoroki grimace. "I need help, the batons are strong enough to crack my ice and they don't melt. He's also fast enough to dodge my fire if I attack him."

He grinned and slammed his fists together, activating his quirk. "Let's do this!"

With out warning, he was rocketed forward, flying toward the man, who was only surprised for a second. Sending a baton at him, the man dropped. Putting his arms up to block, he felt the immense pressure behind the weapon and pushed back. He barely came out on top as the baton was pushed back and he started falling. Trusting his teammate, he prepared for ice and wasn't let down. "I got you! Keep up the offensive! I'll deal with the slime one and support."

Giving him a quick thumbs up, he launched himself at the baton man with an ice-aided speed boost, courtesy of Todoroki. With two batons, the man met him in the middle and sent him flying backward. He wasn't even able to put up a fight against the strength of those things. As he tumbled across the ground into a slide, he got to his feet and tried to think. He knew he could overpower one baton, but two was too many. He needed to figure out a way to either, only take on one baton or avoid them altogether.

Once again getting a speed boost, he feigned a double forearm attack and dropped to his knee. Sliding under the man's attack as he went for a counter, he grabbed the man's arm and grunted with exercission. 'Chivalrous Knight Hammer!' Using some techniques Izuku taught him, he used the man's momentum and his own boosted momentum to swing around the man. With everything he could muster, he tried to slam into the man's head with his hardened foot, but was met by a baton. Unluckily for the man, the technique was a lot stronger than one of his punches and sent it crashing into the man's head, bringing him to the ground with a meaty slam.

Giving himself a triumphant cheer for a job well done, he was immediately shunted out of the way by some ice. As he went flying, he saw three batons slam into where he was laying. He made a note to himself to thank Todoroki.

"That hurt kid." He looked over to see the man had picked himself up. The man's voice was strained, as if he was sick. Cracking his neck, he recalled the five batons he had and their fight started anew.

(Tenya)

As soon as he cleared the distance between the ice wall Todoroki had created and grabbed the two scientists, he was already on the retreat from attack. The man attacking them, or him to be specific, was swiping his massive hands and causing massive tears to appear where he aimed at. He was having a tough time dodging said attacks while carrying the two scientists. He was strong, but not that strong, not like Izuku or Sato.

Kicking off a tree, that was torn apart instantly, he tossed the pair into a walking trench that circled the main park. Giving them a quick 'sorry', he went on the offensive. "Mach 1. Recipro Burst!" One of the two amulets he was wearing glow with multicoloured light and infused itself into him. At the same time, his engines emmited blue flames. With the air behind him filling the spot he was just in, it create a defeaning sonic boom. His first attack against the man was instant and without mercy. With a kick that had its own sonic boom, the man was sent flying and skipping across the cement floor before plowing into a tree that was demolished.

"Iida! Watch out!"

Without even looking, he dashed backward, going nearly 15 meters with a simple step. He had to admit, he would normally be terrified going this fast. A single misstep and he'd be his own shooting star. Looking at what he dodged, he was thankful for the warning. Where he once stood was filled with metal spears that came out of the ground. Looking over, he could see the leader of the villains looking at him then where Mr Shield and his assistant were hiding.

'I got maybe two more kicks before I'm out of juice in both my legs and the rune. Let's make them count Tenya.' Rocketing at an awkward angle, he went for an attack on the leader. Unfortunately, he was met by a ball of cement dropping directly into his path.

"Stupid brat! That hurt!"

How is he still conscious? He'll be the first to admit, he didn't use the full power of his kick, he probably would have killed the man if he did. The quick mental admission cost him. Out of a nearby tree, three spears of metal sprang out and slammed into him, sending him reeling with pain.

Gritting his teeth through the pain, he stood and took off. His first target was the man with the large hands. His quirk was a mystery and annoying. The leader of the villains had some sort of metal quirk, which was easier to deal with singularly. Add too many distractions and it would cost you. Appearing behind the man, he attacked with a high speed scissor kick. The first part was aimed at his shoulder, the second was aimed at his head. The first part of the kick earned him a crunch and a cry of pain, while the next was barely dodged. The momentum carried him to the left and into the attack of the purple brute.

Luck, and Bakugo, was on his side as an explosion sent him flying away from harm and into the trench. When he crashed into the wall, he slid to the floor and was done. His engines were spent and he needed time to recover. Still being able to move, he ran down the trench toward were he left the two men.

Running around a bend, he saw both had climbed up the stairs to watch the fight. As he approached, he yelled. "We need to go! Get to the exit and start heading down! Now!"

David didn't need a second warning and took off with the slightest limp in his left foot. 'Must've gotten hurt when I threw them.' Something he'd apologize for when they got out of here. When he looked toward Mr Abraham, he saw the man froze in fear. As he approached, he went to pick up the man, but was sent crashing into the wall by a collection of metal pillars. It took everything he had to not be squished from their weight and strength. As he pushed, he watched the leader pull out a gun and shoot Mr Shield in leg. He would have been worried, if he didn't have some medical training. The wound was meerily a flesh wound, it probably hurt like all crud though.

"You kids are a real pain." The villain said. "I'll be sure you join the ranks of the fallen tonight, good night."

"No! You said no one would get hurt! You lied!" Mr Abraham jumped in front of him and held out his hands.

The villain scoffed. "The deal was off when your doctor friend warned the heroes. Now move!" He finished with a yell. Samuel, being helpless in the situation, stood to the side and watched.

He wanted to yell at the two men, but that would just be a distraction in his current situation. As if in slow mo, he watched as the man raised a hand and was about to finish the deed. Through gritted teeth, he growled. "Mach 5."

(Tensei)

Three villains. One had some sort of sticky poison sweat quirk, he threw him self around with practiced ease and tried to tap him on his body. The second seemed to be made out of sand, a la Snatch, and was attacking him with drilled precision. He could maybe, and he meant maybe, give Snatch a run for his money. The third had some sort of slowing quirk, which he was having to compensate for.

Applying small bursts whenever the time quirk was activated, he was able to just barely able to dodge out of the way. Their melee was at a stalemate, them not able to land an attack and him barely applying passing glances. That seemed to change however when the time one looked behind at where the leader was. He grimaced seeing the leader next to the scientists, Mr Shield was on the ground clutching his leg, but he didn't see his brother.

That's when he heard it. Like a jet engine going off right next to them, a massive burst of wind was displaced and threw anybody unprepared for it on their butts. With a harsh wind pressure induced screech, Tensei saw first hand what was happening. Being used to such high speeds, his trained eyes allowed him to catch the barest glimpse of Tenya hurtling himself at the leader of the villains. He dodged backward as the glue man tried to nab him, and delivered a kick to the sandman.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he watched the lead villain go flying across the promenade into the wall several levels above their current one with a mighty crash. He grinned as the fight turned to their side, the time controller was distracted and started running to aid their boss, but was intercepted by Red Riot.

Grinning beneath his mask, he took the advantage his brother and classmates gave him. Activating his own super move, he disengaged the two lackeys and slammed into the baton wielding man, sending him spinning into the wall. From there, he took off and grabbed the flying Bakugo and spun him, sending the young hero back toward the one named Daigo.

Endeavor's son chose that moment to crash into the woman standing near the elevator, encasing the lady in a block of ice, ending her quirk. With a blast aided by the second of his gauntlets, Bakugo slammed into the brute's head and exploded. Having finally had enough, Daigo's transformation ended and he fell over unconscious.

(Todoroki)

He hated people immune to cold or fire, and when a person was immune to both? He wanted to wipe them from the face of the planet.

The man he saved Kirishima from was a total pain. He could trap the guy in ice, but he always seemed to get out somehow. Fire wasn't effective at all, when he used it the man became gaseous and simply floated away safely. He also wasn't entirely able to dedicate his entire attention span to his fight, having to keep Kirishima safe and aiding Bakugo when he could. Alongside that, he had to keep giving himself space to dodge his attacker.

As he flipped backward, he created a new walkway and wall to separate themselves momentarily. As he formed an ice catapult for Kirishima, the sound of a jet engine stopped the fighting for a brief second. Him and the liquid man watched the boss go flying with the sound of a sonic boom that broke apart his fragile ice walkway. As he fell, he saw the pro amongst them go on the offensive and take out the baton man that Kirishima was fighting. Seeing the woman about to attack Bakugo, he started channeling his ice quirk into his leg.

Holding a leg out, he created as much of a pillow with snow as he could and slammed his leg into the ground behind the woman. The attack immediately froze the woman, creating a 20 meter ice tomb around her. Knowing that he wasn't safe from the liquid man, he rolled out of the way and aided a jump backward with a bit of fire and ice.

Landing where he was, the man gave up the chase on him and started going for the elevator that was right next to him. An annoyed growl escaped his lips as he prepared to complete freeze the elevator, but he smiled when he saw yellow sparks. Landing into a roll, he sent a glacier to encase the two villains that weren't knocked out by Ingenium.

With that taken care of, he looked over at the elevator and saw an unconscious man unceremoniously dropped onto the floor. "I guess we won?" Smirked Kaminari.

Kirishima cheered, throwing both arms in the air and yelling. As Bakugo pulled out his radio, which miraculously survived the engagement, Ingenium ran to his brother. The younger of the two was on the ground and injured heavily. Izuku had warned his second in command that using the enhanced speed rune would likely result in injury. The risk was mostly negligible though, with Izuku being able to cure almost anything.

While the brothers collected themselves, with the aid of Kirishima, he heard Bakugo talk over the radio. "This is Alpha, enemies neutralized." A snarl formed on his classmates lips when he answered. "What do you mean the city is under attack?"

That's when he heard it, as did Kaminari. The sound of hundreds of wheels rolling toward them. Bakugo noticed the sound a second later and was about to put it away when the sound of scrapping metal resonated through the atrium. The three of them turned and watched as a pillar, nearly 10 meters thick, slammed into the brothers and Kirishima.

Bakugo growled and yelled over the radio. "The leader is not down! I repeat, the leader is no-!" Using an explosion, he zipped to the side and dodged a second pillar of metal that tried to smush him. While Kaminari and him dodged their own pillars, the lights flickered and an explosion went off above them, shaking the building before settling.

"You heroes are nothing more than an annoyance to me." Landing on a shelf of ice he created, which he was soon joined on by Kaminari, they watched as the man casually landed on the ground next to the scientists.

The main question going through his head was, how was this man still conscious after a kick that could rival one from All Might? While he tried to think, they saw the pillar that had squished their comrades begin to move. With a yell of defiance, Red Riot lifted the pillar. As soon as he was able Ingenium dashed for the man, but was stopped in his tracks by a the guy's quirk. His bored voice rang through rising noise. "Being encased in metal while fighting a person who can control metal isn't a great idea." With that said, he simple snapped his fingers, causing the metal hero suit to crumble in on the pro, who yelled in pain. Not able to move, lest Tenya get squished, Kirishima wasn't able to dodge the second or third pillar that went for the pair.

He felt a rage start building in him and went on the offensive, faster than his ice and with a lot more firepower, his two remaining allies charged. Kaminari was like a bolt of lightning, in the blink of an eye, he slammed into the villain. Unable to see the kick coming, the man went a few feet back, only to be slammed into a maxed out Howitzer Impact that threw him toward the glacier that went his way. With the sound of crackling ice, an entire quarter of the atrium was taken over by a glacier.

"Icy-Hot! Hold off the robots! I'll get Red and Glasses! Blondie, get Ingenium to safety!"

With his commands said, they began to work. The robot army had jumped from numerous floors, which left him with few options. Slamming a hand into the ground, he concentrated. A ring of ice encircled their team, and as he closed his fist. "Wall of Jotunheim."

The circle of ice grew three meters thick and slammed in the ceiling, creating a cylinder of ice around them. Unluckily, that didn't help with grabbing their downed teammates and getting them to safety. Thay was on account of the pillars of metal that started slamming into the glacier. He'd use his fire on the outside of the ice wall, but he didn't want to risk a building fire.

Gritting his teeth, he dived for the two scientists and hoisted them onto his platform. "Bakugo! We need to get out of here, we can't protect everyone and fight at once."

His surly classmate yelled, even with him being less than a few meters away where he was trying to free Kirishima and Iida. "I know!"

Kaminari, still coursing with electricity placed the injured hero on his platform. "I can't fight and carry someone, they'll just get more hurt."

(Kaminari)

He had just gotten the crash course on how to defuse a bomb vest from Sever, and he was a nervous wreck.

"It's almost time kid, you ready?"

Standing from where he was crouched in the broom closet, he felt shaky. They had heard the gunfire and explosions going off on the other side of the door, but they couldn't assist. If they tried to help and were taken out, he couldn't disable their electronics and help his classmates.

Taking a deep breath, he nodded to Sever. "Yes sir."

The bulky giant of a man sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You'll do fine kid, I know you can do this. In fact, you're the only one who can do this."

That didn't help, at all. Over the radio in his ear, he could hear Tsu. "Nine."

He started hopping on the balls of his feet, pumping himself up.

"Eight."

Sever prepared to open the door for him, they had to wait until the last second, to minimize the chances of him being caught.

"Seven."

'You can do this man, you can do this!'

"Six."

He activated Lightning God's Speed and let the charge start building up.

"Five."

Doing a quick few jumping jacks, he could see the electricity start arcing off of him.

"Four."

Reigning in the arcs, he kept the electricity coursing through his body, never letting it escape. That could have disastrous consequences if it caused a bomb to go off.

"Three."

Getting into a runner's starting position, he looked down and closed his eyes.

"Two."

He looked up and got ready to run.

"One."

The door flung open and he was off. Ignoring the gorey mess in the hallway, he blasted through the doors to the banquet hall and slammed a fist into the first of the assailants. With his body and mind going far beyond their normal capabilities, a millisecond glance got him the brief details he needed. Five bombs, three more gunmen.

Using the man as a wall, he jumped off and pointed a finger at the furthest enemy. 'Spark.'

It had taken nearly two months of accuracy training, and power control to get this technique down. From his fingertip, a tiny spark of electricity raced out and into the man, who went stock still and finally collapsed after convulsing. Letting his boot connect with the next man's chin, he knocked the guy out and zipped to the final person.

The first two guys, including the fourth, took approximately 2 seconds. Just long enough for the third guy to reach up and tap the button his earpiece. He didn't get to say anything though, as he soon met the knuckledusters infused with electricity. Not even waiting to watch the man go down, he went to the first bomb and followed what was drilled into him.

Channeling his quirk from his body directly into the floor, he drained the bomb of all electricity and pulled the fuse from the bomb itself. Dashing over, he repeated the process four more times. When it was finally done, he pointed a hand toward the front entrance, where no one was and collapsed to his knees. In the midst of the cheers surrounding him, he heard Sever over the radio. "Charlie Phase 1, done. Proceeding to Phase 2."

Groaning to himself, he got back to his feet, and activated his speed again. After receiving a nod from All Might, he dashed out of the banquet hall, and headed for the stairs.

"Ten."

Crashing through the door, he took a sharp turn and raced up the steps. He needed to get to at least get to floor 75 before stopping, and he had to get ready for the biggest surge of electricity he had ever used yet.

"Nine."

Eleventh floor.

"Eight."

Twenty-third.

"Seven."

Thirty-seventh.

"Six."

Fourty-ninth.

"Five."

Sixty-first.

"Four."

Seventy-fifth. He made it. Going through the door and ignoring the alarm, he raced to the center of the floor.

"Three."

Making it to the middle, he pointed a finger straight up and started channeling everything he had into this next attack.

"Two."

"Lightning God's-"

"One. Alpha Engage."

The sound of thousands of sparks going off at once, followed by a secondary click radiated all around him. 'Need more.'

Gritting his teeth, he allowed his body to generate even more and felt the pull of all things metal around him. 'Don't you dare fail me quirk, I can't look uncool in front of everyone.'

He slapped his hands together and thrust both of them up. "- Roar!"

The sound of hundreds of breaking light bulbs and electronics rang out from above him. The blowback from using all of that knocked him on his ass and left his body reeling in pain.

He didn't know how long he spent on the ground, and to be honest, he didn't really care. He didn't hear the sounds of screaming, so he assumed he did his part. When his body stopped convulsing, he pushed himself up off his ass and made his way to the elevator. According to the now dead security guards, the elevators would be protected against an EMP, so they were still operable, which meant he didn't need to run anymore, just wait. Clicking the button, he waited in silence, listening to the steel ropes of the elevator whine under the unassisted load they carriedm.

When the elevator dinged, he let himself inside and held himself up against the railing. It wasn't a long journey, which meant the elevator couldn't get to its normal speed. As he stood there, the sounds of battle started coming through and he saw a liquid start making its way through into the elevator. Knowing that Alpha didn't have anyone with a liquid based quirk, he pointed a finger at it and sent a spark at the being. What he didn't expect was for the liquid to go stock still and then fall to the floor of the lift. When the last drop fell to the ground, it formed into a man. Smoking and unconscious, the man didn't put up a fight when he lifted him and threw him out onto the 80th floor.

He looked over at Todoroki, who was breathing hard and standing not too far away, with a smirk. "I guess we won?"

Todoroki didn't respond, but Red Riot let out a billowing roar. Sighing to himself and falling on his rear-end, he smiled. Watching as Kirishima went over to help the Iida brothers, he listened to Bakugo report their victory and the confusion that followed. The city was under attack? The sound of whirling started coming from everywhere, every floor above them. Him and Todoroki looked around, and saw faint red lights radiating from the dark floors above them.

When he hoisted Ingenium onto Todoroki's platform, he looked over at Bakugo and gave his friend a thumbs up. "You got ten seconds, that's all I have in me really. Get back fast, ya hear?"

The leader of Team Alpha growled, but didn't resist, not with the heavily injured people slung over his shoulders. "I'll be back in six!"

He smirked and stretched out his tired muscles, preparing his body for another round. He was scared shitless, don't doubt that, but he knew he could hold off this guy long enough for reinforcements to arrive. He only needed to buy a handful of seconds, right?

As the duo made their way to the stairs, he heard Bakugo call out to him. "Chargebolt!"

He turned and looked at him.

The guy gave him a glare. "If you die, I'm kicking your ghost's ass, so stay alive."

He gave the guy a lopsided grin and a lazy two finger salute. "Aye-aye, captain."

The sound of breaking ice brought him back to the fight at hand. Activating Lightning God's Speed one last time, he got into the starting pose Tiger taught him. He needed to keep this guy in place and away from the stairs out of here. The scientists were safe and the villains' plans were kaput.

Taking a step out of the ice, the man glared at him. "You won't be able to stop me kid."

He shrugged. "Probably not, but there's no problem in trying."

"Unless you die."

He snorted and let his body arc out as much as it wanted. "Can't do that ugly, there's a special someone who would miss me."

"Her loss." He flicked his hand and sent a pillar of metal to flatten him. Dodging backward with a flip, he landed on the top of a pillar and charged the man, in the blink of an eye, he slammed a foot into the man's gut, below his guard and zipped away.

Dodging another pillar, he repelled himself toward the man and magnetized his foot to the man's face. Letting the current carry him, he spun midair, right before the kick, and delivered a roundhouse kick to the side of the guy's face. Unfortunately, even though the hit landed, the split second before he could change direction was all the guy needed. Grabbing his foot with near as fast speed, the man slammed him into the ground and caused two pillars to come out of the ground and try to squish him like a bug. Pouring his quirk into its natural magnetism, he held against the force of the pillars and utilized the repelling energy to slingshot him back at the man in an electric filled drop kick to the head.

Kicking off the guy's shin, he bounced away and somersaulted backward onto his feet. The man merely smoked for a few seconds before righting himself and glaring at him. "Don't you know when to give up? Your attacks aren't doing anything to me."

He groaned. There is something he could do, but it was a last resort that he needed allies for, because if it didn't work, he would die. Dodging diagonally, he connected himself to a plate of loose metal and pulled it toward himself. Throwing some electricity into it, he spun it around his finger and dived for the man. Aiming for right in front of the man, he landed, and spun away from a grab behind the guy. Slapping the metal plate to him, he magnetized the man's outfit. Before he could get attacked, he repelled himself away and sent several sparks at the man that he couldn't dodge. While midair, the guy tried to pillar him, but with a simple magenization between himself and any nearby metal, he could pull himself away.

"Enough!" The villain roared. Throwing his hands to the ground, the entire floor changed shape.

Letting out a muffled curse, he attached himself to the wall and started racing up it, away from the shifting metal that chased him. After two seconds of running away, his tiny radio finally came back to life and he heard the voice of Bakugo. "We're on our way back, be there in two." Perfect.

With a final step, he charged his foot and pushed as hard as he could. Like being fired from a low yield cannon, he shot into open air and started falling toward the man. Being in wide open air, there's no way he could normally dodge a long range attack, but against this guy, he was golden. When the first set of pillars started racing for him, he attached himself to the underside of one, dodged another pillar and bounced off a fourth.

When he was within fifty or so meters of the man, the guy started creating a wall to protect himself. Knowing that he he had no way to get past it, he aimed a hand at the man and connected himself to the metal plate still attached to him. 'Lightning Finish.'

Feeling his body become little more than a blur, his vision went fisheyed before it snapped back to normal and he was on the guy's back. Putting everything he had into this next attack, he yelled in anger. "Indiscriminate God-!" His normal yellow lightning turned white. "-5 million volts!"

The whine of the ozone cooking resonated through the shell of metal as it closed and after the briefest second, everything went white. Every muscle tensed up and his head instantly started going fuzzy. When the light died down, the shell fell away and he slid off the man's back. The world faded to black as the guy slumped next to him.

(Bakugo)

They had almost made it to the 80th floor when they heard the muffled sound of millions of birds chirping, then it died down. Bursting into the open space, they saw a massive shift in terrain. The robots that had dared to come to this floor were turned to scrap. The only thing unchanged on the ground floor was a small platform where Kaminari and the villain were lying down, slumped over.

"Did he do it?", asked Icy-Hot.

"If he did, that just makes our job easier." He replied.

As they made their way over, they saw a red energy start arching off the man. "Get him out of there!" He yelled at Icy-Hot.

Letting off a blast, he rocketed to the man and threw a hand out as he rose to feet. "Critical Detonation!" He felt every fiber of his hand scream at him in pain and protest as the explosion released. He only had one of those left, if he tried it again with the same hand, he would probably lose an arm. The resulting blast shook the building and blasted apart every piece of glass in a 1 kilo area.

The blast, after a few calculations from the crazy bitch from the support course, was estimated to equal half a kiloton of tnt. With that much power behind the blast, it wasn't surprising to watch the man go blasting away and into the floors above, taking walls and floors he passed through.

Icy-Hot slid over to him, Kaminari in his arms. "Do we call it in?"

He didn't answer immediately and glared at the spot where the man had hit. Trained instincts were the only thing that allowed the two of them to dodge lightning fast spears of metal that were aimed at them. Gritting his teeth, he pulled out the radio in his pocket and dodged another spear as he yelled over the radio. "The villain has a regeneration quirk! We can't bring him down, we need backup!"

"Delta!" Responded Tsu.

"Already on our way, we'll be there in 10 seconds."

Stuffing the earpiece back into his pocket, he dodged toward Todoroki, who instantly created a shell. "Shield of the Old Man." Condensed ice, nearly five meters thick, formed a shell around them.

Preparing for the hit, he growled. "Delta is on their way, we just need to buy time."

Icy-Hot nodded. "Do we fight back or continue to dodge."

He growled in thought. This man was a threat, from the looks of it, he had three quirks, which shouldn't be possible. One was metal manipulation (obviously), another was that red energy that brought him back to his feet.

Six spears of metal stabbed into their shell and started digging their way in. His third was some sort of durability and strength quirk. The rejuvenation quirk had to have some type of limit, there was no way it didn't. "Can you get blondie out of here?"

After a second of thought, Icy-Hot nodded. "I need a second though."

He cracked his neck. "You got two."

Getting ready to move, Icy-Hot took in a breath and let it out slow. "Ready?"

Forcing his shaky hand to still, he nodded. "Let's do this."

Letting the shell drop, the pair, plus Kaminari, dodged opposite ways. Icy-Hot for the stairs, him for the villain. Juggling himself midair, he dodged the multitudes of metal spears and finally saw the man. Now shirtless, thanks to the previous blast, he could clearly see the arcs of red coming off of him. There was also a strange network of rusty crimson markings all over his body that gave off an ominous glow.

"You'll die here, child!"

He snarled and dodged the pillars that went for him. Blasting his way toward the guy, he didn't see the pillar approaching from behind and took a direct hit from a spear to his leg. Growling in pain, he blasted apart the spear and threw a hand forward. "Die!"

(Todoroki)

After sending Kaminari down an ice slide to the second floor, he turned to go back to the fight and watched as Bakugo went flying backward toward oncoming pillars. Catapulting himself, he grabbed his surly friend and created another ice shield around them. "You good?"

Bakugo growled. "The bastard has super strength, he grabbed my arm through my explosion and threw me away like a ragdoll."

"I'll hold him off, until reinforcements come, catch your breath and patch yourself up." Not listening to the grumbling, he dropped the ice shell to the ground and connected to both sides of himself.

'Eternal Struggle.'

Feeding the two quirks into themselves, the fire and ice started rapidly clashing. Before they could tear him apart, he flung both forward at the guy and created an ice shield to protect the two of them.

As he went for a follow up attack, both of them turned to see a pack of robots finally make their way over. After giving them a brief noise, both of them had to dodge wire that came out and tried to ensnare them.

Landing into a roll and bringing up a thick shell of ice to protect himself from the villain, he sighed. Why couldn't he just fight a single thing for once? He understood that life wouldn't always give him a one vs. one, but for just once, he'd enjoy it.

(Izuku)

"Done?"

"Izuku!" Mei rounded on him with the small drill in her hand. "If I fuck up, this whole thing goes sky high and we have to evacuate the whole city. So calm the fuck down before I hit you." She finished her piece and turned back around.

As she worked, he began fidgeting, which set off Misaki. 'Enough! I get that you want to go help our classmates, but annoying the shit out of her and me does absolutely nothing!'

Sighing, he took a breath in, held it and slowly let it out. 'Okay, I'm good.'

'Good.' She didn't say anything as they watched Mei work, but broke the silence with a single question. 'Dad?'

He raised an eyebrow. 'Yeah?'

'Do you think Mei likes anal?'

He choked on water, Mei ignored him and kept focus on the bomb. 'What type of fucking question is that?'

He felt her shrug. 'Just a question, I thought it would be a nice distraction.'

He groaned and rubbed a hand down his face. 'I'm not having this conversation with you.'

'What? Why not? I've already seen everything my moms have to offer.' After a pause, she added. 'Well, besides Kinoko, but we'll get there.'

'Because.'

She ignored him. 'I bet she likes it, she's probably a virgin still. Especially with her being locked in the workshop every waking minute. Think sh-.'

He tuned her out and let her talk to herself as Melissa came on the line. "This one is done. The mechanism for its fuse was already broken, there was a leak in the casing. We're lucky the short didn't cause the whole thing to blow."

"On my way." He looked at Mei. "You good?"

She nodded. "I'll need you here in a bit to freeze this one, but yeah."

"Be right back then."

Opening a portal, he went back to the first of the bombs they had found. Waiting there, double checking her work, he found Melissa. Snapping his fingers, making a new portal, he told her. "Head over to last one and I'll send this somewhere else."

She nodded and swam through. Misaki whistled. 'Damn she gots a nice a-.'

'Not the time.'

Letting the portal she swam through close, he opened a portal to the inventory world and shoved the bomb in. Going back through his first portal, he rejoined Mei just in time to freeze the bomb. With that done, they went to help Melissa with the last one.

(Aizawa)

He was pissed, and it wasn't just because of Nezu's loud nibbling. He was pissed off at All Might, which was and wasn't warranted, at Nezu for allowing this to continue, and mad at the heads of the WHA for letting this go through. A new reason for him to be pissed was Doctor Shield's assassitant, Anderson. The stupid man turned out to be a rat of a man. He not only used a hidden support gear on the heroes assigned to guard him, but he had threatened to kill David. The poor man, after getting shot in the leg, was knocked out via medicine and was dragged to the elevator and back up stairs where they joined the winding down fight.

Speaking of, Delta was already down. The villain already managed to take out the leader, who unknown to them, had a few metal plates inside of him. It wasn't pretty from the sounds of it. One of the two girls was out cold, having been slammed between two pillars. The other was missing a leg after having it sliced off by a spear. She was still up and giving them details of the fight as it waged on. The last of Delta was MIA, the last thing they heard about him was that he was flung out the gaping hole on the side of the building. Unfortunately with the city in chaos with the robots attacking, they didn't have anyone able to go out and check for him.

Todoroki and Bakugo were on their last legs and barely standing. To his surprise and anger, not because it happened, but because of what it took, the two of them were fighting with an enormous amount of teamwork.

Ms Asui's voice broke him from his grumbling. "Sir, do I order Bakugo and Todoroki to retreat? With the Doctors on their way up, I think they'll be in trouble if they try to defend Dr. Shield and themselves."

Before he could answer, Nezu spoke up. "Ms Froppy, I believe that is your call. If you believe it's too much for them to handle in their current state, then call the retreat."

He glared at Nezu, but kept silent. Asui nodded at the creature who smiled at her. Turning back to the radio, she gave her order. "Alpha, this is HQ, full retreat. Both of the Doctors are on their way up and will put you in a heavier disadvantage."

Over the speaker, they heard Todoroki's haggard voice. "We'll try. This guy is hammering me hard, making escape a bit difficult. I'll get word to Bakugo, Todoroki out."

Breathing a angry sigh out of his nose, he glared at the building across the street. It was warped and badly mangled from the fight. Where pieces weren't missing, the metal was twisted and shrunken to form the spikes and pillars the man used to fight. This was the man's environment and his students were fighting to the death with the guy. He believed in the two of them, hell, they already proved themselves capable for the last five minutes of this fight. He was just angry that it had to be his students risking their life.

He sighed and tried to relax as he waited, legally and physically there wasn't much he could do right now. Sure he could leave the workshop and make his way to them, but by the time he made it there, he'd be too late. There was also the fact that both Nezu and the WHA had him by the throat for both of his jobs.

(Todoroki)

He was cut up, bruised and missing pieces of his hero outfit. That wasn't even comparable to the frostbite and burns across his body. Bakugo and him had learned something at least. Something was wrong with this guy. Bakugo, after being given the go ahead from HQ, had tried to turn the guy's brain to mush. Unfortunately it didn't do anything, as the red energy pulled his body back together. He had even turned the man to a crisp and froze every cell of his body. Every time they actually tried to bring the guy down, he'd come back just a little more unhinged and powerful. It also had a visible effect on the man, his body was was getting more and more blue now.

"Bakugo!" He called out as he matched the pillars heading his way. "Tsu says the doctors are coming up! We need to get out of here!"

An explosion resonated through the air and after a few milliseconds, he was joined by a panting Katsuki. "F-fine. My arms are ready to give out anyway."

"Plan?" They couldn't just run, the guy could cut off their escape with just the twitch of his finger. They also couldn't leave the two heroes alone here.

The team leader grumbled in thought for a second before nodding. "We rush him, bring him down, hard, and use those few seconds to each grab one hero. Then we break out of the side of the building."

He gave his classmate a nod. "I'll start then." Turning his attention to the pillars that were trying to break through the shield he erected, he laid a hand on the wall. 'Heaven-piercing Ice Wall.' As the pillars were either pushed back or destroyed, his quirk began freezing him solid. Bakugo took that moment to blast away and go for the man. Activating his flame, he heated up his skin and started making his way toward the downed woman. They had watched the leader of this group get mangled with a single touch and there was nothing to be done for him.

The death had shocked the both of them, and then pissed both of them off, but even with their renewed vigor for this fight, it wasn't enough. Racing past her and using ice to scoop her up, he raced for where Bakugo was headed, after delivering another 'thermo bomb' to the guy's face. When they got together, they turned their attention to the wall that led outside and charged. Making it brittle with his ice, he shunted Bakugo forward to break through it.

They were then into a controlled free fall, where they landed in the snowbank he created. When they were on the ground waiting for the snow to melt, he heard Bakugo growl. "I can't believe we lost!"

"We dealt with all but one, not much of a loss."

"You kids did amazing, I'll be the first to admit that you held your own as well as any of the tops could." Said the one conscious hero. She was a thin lady, and was the one with a duplication quirk.

Bakugo grumbled in response.

When the snow was finally gone, they made their way to the designated medical area Izuku had setup. When they walked up, one of the guards saw the people they were carrying, and took them inside. They followed, sore and exhausted, but were stopped by Mr Yagi, who was sitting just inside the front entrance. "Young Bakugo, Todoroki."

Bakugo turned with a scowl. "What is it?"

"Come here, have a seat." He waved toward the open area next to him.

He joined without a word, just happy to not be standing. Bakugo grumbled, but took a seat eventually.

"I know you're upset about how the fight went, but there's nothing you could have done."

(Toshinori)

"What do you mean?" Asked Todoroki.

Smiling tiredly, he handed the two a folder each. Both of them took one and opened it to find a dossier. One on a villain and the other on a hero.

"Who are these chumps? It says they died 15 years ago." Asked Bakugo.

"Correct, they did." He gestured to the one Todoroki was holding. "Ken-etic, a US hero who was found dead inside his home. His quirk was the ability to store energy that hit him. Since he didn't have any other quirk, it was only theorized that he could use that energy for other things besides punching. His body was missing limbs and no one heard anything during his time of death, in an apartment complex filled with heroes."

They both looked at him, confused and about to ask why it mattered, but he continued on. "Manushi Cooke, a normal civilian, she had a husband and two kids. During a family outing, a villain attack ended up killing the entire family, besides Ms Cooke. Unknown to her, she had a quirk that would bring her back from the dead at the cost of her sanity. It took local heroes five hours to bring her down, permanently. It was later learned that her quirk was based on the electrical signals that went through her head. The more she used the quirk, the less the signals fired, turning her into a wild animal. Her body, after the autopsy, went missing."

Bakugo growled. "So you're telling me that guy in there is a combination of those two? How is that even possible?"

"During the Hosu disaster, when the Nomu appeared, Izuku discovered that several of them were using quirks that belonged to dead heroes. Combine that with what we know to be the nurse that is under the employ of Shigaraki Tomura, we decided to create a database of all dead heroes and villains. When Gang Orca's sidekick started describing his powers, we cross-referenced them with the database. Our results brought us to five possible connections, but we whittled them down to these two."

"So you're saying that he's literally impossible to bring down and that the league of villains is creating Nomu with the power of dead heroes. What's being done to prevent any current heroes from being killed off?" Asked Todoroki.

He sighed and rubbed his forehead. "After the disappearances early this school year, patrols are only done in pairs and with health trackers on them. All heroes consented to them and if one were to die or be in grave danger, all nearby heroes would know where to go." He smiled at the pair. "We based it on the bracelets your class is wearing."

The radio flared to life with the current happenings, young Ms Asui sounded worried. "The lead villain is 10 floors below the vault, Foxtrot, be careful, retreat if you need, ribbit. The villain is unstable and willing to kill."

Young Bakugo growled. "Did Izuku give you any of those damn tokens? Iida had most of ours."

He let out an involuntary snort at the request. Reaching into his pocket, he produced four tokens. "You know the rules, if you're tired-"

"-then don't bother. I know the damned rules." The boy snatched two of the tokens and started healing himself while Todoroki did the same, but with far more restraint.

As they were recuperating, he sighed to himself and closed his eyes. He was mad, disappointed, and worried. Mad about the loss of life and his helplessness to prevent it. Disappointed in Dave and the stupid plan his friend had cooked up. He had gotten over the anger a bit almost instantly, as he knew his friend was just trying to help him. Not in the way he wanted or needed, but the thought still counted. Now he was worried that his friend's machinations would be the death of him and he couldn't help. At least not without wasting a serious trump card.

"We're going back up." He turned his head to look back at Bakugo. "I doubt the girls can take that monster, especially if he's trying to kill them."

He let out a small chuckle. "Don't doubt them too much, they are trained alongside you and far stronger than the average hero."

(Wolfram)

His head was spinning, his vision was swimming, and he felt like someone was melting his insides. All together, he felt like shit. After the kids ran away, he shook his head and steadied himself. Freeing himself from the hole they buried him in, he lowered himself to the ground. Whatever the fuck that bastard in the face mask did to him, it was working.

Every step he took, every swing of his arm took a massive amount of mental effort. Over the last three weeks, he had gotten used to it, but under these conditions, his mind was foggy. Reaching for the button on his mask, as he waited for the elevator to arrive, he spoke to his second. "Swordkil, Status update." His voice unintentionally came out in a growl.

It took a second for a reply to come through, but before it did, the elevator dinged and opened up to reveal the two scientists.

Heaving breaths came through the mic. "I'm down to two guys, we retreated into the maintenance tunnels and are making our way to the storage facility. Before we left, I had Frenchie blow up the room, if the heroes didn't die, then they're hurt."

"Good, we're on our way up, hide somewhere nearby."

"Yes, sir."

Letting the radio fall silent, he growled at the two scientists. "We're going up, if either of you try to escape, I kill the other, got it?" The tubby one nodded hurriedly, the one that AfO wanted was out cold.

Getting onto the elevator, he jabbed the button for the top floor. As they waited, he connected to the security of the island, and the bombs he had his men place. The bombs were meant as a parting gift, AfO had paid him quite a bit of money to sink this damned place. He didn't know why the man wanted the island sunk, but he suspected it was due to a particular hero on the island.

Taking a small case out of his pocket, he opened it and took out the small electronic. It wasn't only pure luck that this thing survived. The box itself was given to him by AfO, and was covered in small drawings. He couldn't make them out, but most of them were circles with symbols. The device itself was no bigger than the tip of his pinky finger, and was covered in a clear gel. Taking his knife, he cut his chest right in front his heart and placed the device in the cut.

Calling on his quirk, he willed the device to dig into his body. It stung like all hell, but he bared with it. This was insurance, just in case. When it was next to his heart, he turned his attention to the program. Connecting the bombs to the trigger that was now on his heart, he leaned against the elevator wall and closed the bomb app.

With the security app open, he turned on the defense system for every level they passed. Normally he would have needed two of the higher ups to this, but thanks to his team, he was able to turn on the lethal setting by himself. Now, if the robots or turrets that were in the tower or on the island detected anyone, they'd use lethal force. He couldn't have done this before hand, annoyingly. The stupid robots couldn't be programmed to differtiant between his team and the people they wanted dead.

A warning popped up when he activated the setting, telling him that this would activate an island wide warning. Confirming his decision, he closed the app, and waited out the quiet ride with the two scientists.

Three minutes later, they reached the floor with the vault and the elevator dinged. One of his men, Whiskey, was waiting for him. "Sir, we have two heroes following us, they're down the corridor, we have them pinned."

He growled. "Get these two to the vault, I'll deal with the asswipes."

Whiskey nodded and ushered the two down the hallway. They were soon joined by Swordkil and Snap. As he watched them leave, he turned to the two heroes as they rounded a corner.

(Kendo)

While she wasn't in charge of the group, she could easily respect the man that was. Maki, with his quirk fully active, was leading the charge into the security station. He was pissed, so was she and the rest of the team, Team Gama was their people. Keeping a cool head, Maki ordered his friend, Ueno, to go and incircle the enemy with two of their members. "Angel, get yourself ready! We need to distract them when Ueno gets around, I need you to rock the ground and throw them off balance!"

"Got it sir!"

As they proceeded down the corridor in a hail of concentrated gunfire, they were forced to take cover when a green blob went flying at them. When it finally landed, they watched as the cement that was hit immediately melted. Don't get hit, got it.

"We're in position, but facing light gunfire."

Maki nodded to himself and looked at her. "We got a distraction on the way, prepare." Cutting the connection, he spoke to her. "On the count of three, you and I are going to spring around the corner and charge. I'll keep you safe, just rock their world." After her nod, he looked at Moto and Fujimori. "Moto, I want their communications severed. Fujimori, send any bullets you can back at them, got it?" Both of the heroes nodded. "3, 2, 1. Go!"

As soon as Maki moved, she was behind him and swung her arm in a wide arc. As she started swinging down, she heard Moto speak her words of power and felt Fujimori's quirk resonate through the air. "Shatter!" Enlarging her hand at the last second, the slam shook the hallway and security room, breaking up the gunfire just long enough that Maki was able to close the distance and enter melee. With a sickening crunch, she watched as her mentor grabbed the man's neck and squeezed.

Not to be out done, Fujimori had caught all the bullets and sent them flying into the room, spreading them out to separate amongst the enemies. Getting back to her feet and standing as guard in front of Moto, they ran in to find Ueno using his quirk. Spears of blue energy were flying from his fingers and keeping the enemies at bay. She had to fight her stomach to stay still when she saw the corpses piled up in a corner. The enemy was using the raised platform of the control panel as a fort and holding off their team as one of them worked the controls.

Maki saw the same thing and yelled. "Stop them! Stone!"

The member of Ueno's group, Stone, was freaky. No one ever saw his face and no one wanted to, not with what his power was. As he quickly undid his mask, every member of Gang Orca's group looked away. The few enemies that tried to fire at Stone, froze rock solid and were dead on the spot. He could control how much he froze, but with so many civilians at risk, he couldn't take the chance. The five remaining gunmen had seen them not look and copied, saving themselves. Unfortunately, one of the men that survived was the one at the controls. "Whiskey! Finish it and go on the offensive!"

Maki charged up the stairs, taking the gunfire to the chest and head with gritted teeth. His aura didn't allow the bullet to penetrate his skin, but the force behind them was still there. As he ran up with covering fire from Fujimori and Ueno, the man named Whiskey, finished what he was doing. She watched as a screen popped up saying, 'Transfer Complete' and a window with rows upon rows of locations, all going 'active'. Her eyes widened and she went for her radio. "This is Delta, the controls have been moved! The robots are active! Get all civilians to safety, now!"

As soon as she said that, the one that seemed to be in charge shouted. "Frenchie!"

She watched as said man pulled his sleeve back and prepared to stab his own arm.

"Brace!" Yelled Maki.

Throwing herself in front of Mato, she activated her quirk. Wrapping the two of them as best as she could, they were thrown back as fire and pressure washed all over her hands. She felt her hands begin to burn as the heat increased. Then it ended.

The rushing of feet signalled that people were moving again, so carefully, she opened her hands. They were burned to a painful crisp, which hurt when she moved her fingers.

Taking in the scene around her, she felt a pit form in her stomach. Everyone in the room was either up against something, knocked out, or barely clinging to consciousness. Being the highest ranking between them, Mato started issuing commands. "Take out your tokens and start healing everyone, hurry."

The first one healed, who woke up with a start and tried attacking her, was Fujimori. She had to smack him to calm him. "Angel?"

Mato didn't give her a chance to explain. "Fuji, take her tokens and start healing everyone. Kendo, use one on yourself and follow me, we're going to help your friends."

Doing as she was told, she nodded. "Yes, Ma'am."

(Momo)

"Remember your roles, girls. You heard Tsu, they're on their way."

After a minute of waiting, the doors opened to reveal two armed gunmen. She shook her head when Jiro looked at her. Doing a quick sweep of the room, they stationed themselves at the door and waited for a few minutes before a man appeared pushing the two scientists in front of him.

The one who wasn't wearing a mask, sneered at the two men. "Get to work, you have five minutes before we leave. You already know what will happen if you fail."

Mr Abraham ran for the controls, as the delirious Mr Shield stumbled forward. The drugs he was injected with must be wearing off. What did these guys even want? Trusting the girls to be looking, she gestured to wait. As Mr Shield and Mr Abraham walked over to the controls for the vault, the maskless one followed and another kept his gun trained on Mr Shield. Waiting until the two other gunmen went to guard the door, she tapped on her radio.

Whispering as quietly as possible, she spoke to them. "Toru, I need you to subdue the maskless one. Ashido, help her. Tobu, get the other. Ochaco, drop it on him. Jiro, help me take the left one" She slowly adjusted her cannons as she spoke.

Trusting that they were listening, she held up three fingers and counted down. Three. Two. One. Everything happened all at once. Pulling the cord on her cannons, she released a specialized gel ball that covered the man in a unique mix of ultrasound gel and glue. As soon as they hit, Jiro unleashed her strongest attack, Heartbeat Crescendo. The attack rocked the man and brought him to his knees, while his eyes and ears bled.

Next to him, Ochaco dropped a massive anvil she had made onto the guy, essentially flattening him. She ignored it, she couldn't fall into despair, not right now. Luckily, she couldn't see what happened to Tobu's guy, all she heard was screaming, the sound of a splatter, then silence. When the smoke retreated, the man's body wasn't anywhere, but her knife was bloody. Across the way, Toru went on the offensive. Pulling out a small punching dagger from her hair, she stabbed the man in the back of his knee. At the same time, Ashido sprayed the arm holding the gun with acid that chewed through the metal. Being the only one not killed or knocked unconscious, he swung around, his quirk active and sliced at Toru. Yelling in pain, her friend was thrown back.

"Get him!"

Ashido sprayed him with less acidic and more sticky acid, while Jiro went for his ears. They managed to stop him before he went for another attack.

When the room went silent, she let out a breath and smiled. "It's over, right?" The girls let out their own sighs of relief and giggled. Handing a roll of gauze over to Jiro to help Toru, she approached Mr Shield. "Sir, are you okay?"

The man looked tired, drained, and completely lost. "Ms Yaoyorozu." He fell to his knees. "I'm fine. I'm fine."

Kneeling down next to him, she rubbed his back. "It's almost over, we just need to get you out of here now." She looked up at Mr Abraham. "You too sir. Let's get going."

"Afraid I can't let that happen." Before she could fully process the words, several pillars of metal slammed into her, Ochaco, and Ashido. The wind was knocked out of her as she hit the wall. Neither of the other girls were in decent shape either.

(Tobu)

She hated fighting the big ones. Using her quirk to make herself invisible, she instantly created a copy that was some distance from her center. Taking the bait, the man sent a pillar at the copy and turned away from her. Willing herself to be silent, she ran behind him and drove her knife into the man's shoulder. The blade earned a growl from the man as it embedded itself in the man's flesh.

Rolling to the right while sending a copy left, she created a new dagger and threw it as his exposed neck. This one barely grazed him as he dodged. She felt when Toru entered her sphere of influence and tried to give her some cover. 'Soldiers, made of toys, armed with weapons, ready to fight to the death.'

Her mind must really be in an Alice in Wonderland mood, she thought amusedly. Cards shimmered into view and unfolded into full on knights armed with a shield and spear. As one, the four suit knights charged together, weapons aimed for the man. Then annoyingly, he made a wall, tapped it and sent it flying at her. Preparing for the headache, she willed herself to appear on the other side and created three copies of herself.

When Toru attacked, she was the only one so far that managed to land a decent attack. In a groan of pain, the man's right arm went slack, before pulsing and swinging around with might and speed. She had no idea how bad Toru got hit, but she both felt and heard a smack, then the tumble.

Scared, she closed her eyes and willed her nightmares to save her and her friends. 'No more jokes, this is serious. I need the monsters and demons of humanity. Please, work how I want, just this once.'

(Jiro)

As she went to help, she felt sharp pain and warmth running down her side. The maskless one had gotten back up and stabbed her in the stomach. In pain and rage, she had plugged directly into him and ruptured his internal organs. When he fell, she followed suit and collapsed onto the stairs, clutching her abdomen. She watched as Toru and Tobu fought the guy, she watched and heard Toru be hit.

When Tobu's sphere went black, she could only smirk even as she bled. The scientist was at her side by that point, he was fretting, but her mind was going fuzzy. "Call for help?"

Help? That'd be nice.

"How do you activate your bracelet?"

She blinked at the man. Bracelet? You had to feel scared and just push the button, but why?

(David)

They needed reinforcements, and he had been told how to call for them. 'Just ask any of the kids to activate their bracelet.'

Great advice truly.

Grabbing onto her bracelet, he ignored the tired confused expression from the girl and tried to figure it out. Behind him, he heard Sam clacking away at the computer. He turned to the man, anger bubbling in his chest. "What are you doing? We can't let them die!" They reminded him of Melissa when she was younger. Sam didn't answer and just hardened his face at the screen.

Gritting his teeth, he turned back to the girl and stripped his jacket off, doing his best to staunch the bleeding. "Girlie, you need to activate your bracelet." She mumbled something, but it was too jumbled and quiet.

He did his best to ignore the fight going on between the villain and the fledgling hero, but with the ruckus going on, he had to look.

The girl had gone completely blood red and three copies of her were using bloody cleavers to swipe at the man. Whatever she was doing though, wasn't able to be blocked. Whenever a wall appeared, the copies would just melt through and embed their bloody knives into the villain. Seeing that his metal attacks weren't doing anything, he began to crush the copies in his hands. When he did this, the copies would explode into blood.

Not knowing if the girl could hold out, he grabbed the bracelet and started inspecting it. He saw tiny symbols drawn into it and found the closest thing he could find to a button and pressed, as something slammed into the side of his head. Falling to the side, he groaned in pain and looked to find Sam holding the briefcase with the QAD.

"I'm leaving, professor. I'm going to work for them, then maybe I'll get the recognition I deserve."

"Sam, why?"

He clutched the briefcase against his chest and looked ashamed as he explained what was going through his mind. It just didn't make sense why he would want to do this.

Behind him, he heard the man shout. "Enough!" The exclamation was followed by the sound of moving metal and a gasp. He looked and saw the girl pinned against the wall by a spear of metal going through her heart.

An overwhelming sense of dread went over him as the man approached with a gun pulled. "Let's go, we have what we came for. Come along now, good doctor. You owe me your life for what you did to my men."

As soon as he said that, something blew a decent portion of the man's head off. He turned in shock and disgust to where it came from. Leaning against a wall, breathing hard, and standing funny, Yaoyorozu was holding a shotgun with three barrels. As the body collapsed, the whole building shook, and he was thrown against the floor.

When it finally ended, a loud siren sounded. Through it, you could hear the robotic voice of a woman. "Attention! All residents and visitors! Please proceed to your local evacuation port!"

"Th-They blew up the island."

Momo growled at him. "You need to run, he's not gonna stay dead for long, run!"

He looked down at the young girl beneath his hands, she was out for the count and slowly dying from blood loss. He shook his head. "I can't, she'll die."

Yaoyorozu bit her lip. "We need to get out of here then." She looked over at the brown haired one in a skin tight suit. The girl was shaky, but still standing. He saw her get crushed, but she didn't look worse for wear. "Ochaco, start carrying people out, don't go near Tobu."

"Y-yeah."

The young girl looked over at Sam, her face hardened. "If you dare try anything, I will end you, Mr Anderson." His fallen assistant shook where he stood, the suitcase rattling in his hands. As Ochaco came over and started levitating them toward the exit, the body of the lead villain began sparking.

"Run!" Screeched Momo.

As they ran, he watched the body of the man rise from the ground and Momo unleashed all hell on the body. Shot after shot, she caused massive rends to appear in the body as it attempted to repair itself. In between shots, he watched as she produced a flask of something and splashed it across the body. Smoke started coming off it as Momo continued to pepper it.

Unfortunately though, the man's quirk was stronger than whatever acid and bullets Momo was unleashing into the body. Through pure will, the man changed the landscape. Metal that made up the floor, wall, and electronics, began to swirl around the man's body, creating a shell.

As they disappeared around the corner with the pink one, he watched as his daughter's friend started creating something, but he didn't see what.

(Momo)

She was tired, sore, had a ringing headache, was hungry, and annoyed. Altogether, she was pissed. When the metal shell appeared, she created a new cannon and missile with the last of her lipids. As the thread for the cannon appeared in her hand, she waited until the shell started to disappear.

"Eat this."

The explosion that released from the cannon caused the end to break apart and to throw her backward. She slammed into the wall, while the missile tore through the regrown body.

Chapter end

So as you can probably tell, Wolfram is far stronger than cannon, and for the observant of you, you might have figured something out :)

I-island ends next chapter, then it's onto the summer camp, time for Shino and Izuku to talk!
