A week passed but we didn't see Kira in action. Nothing was heard of him as if he had forgotten for a while. There was no mention in the media of any murder of his. And of course, all of us were full of questions. We thought it might just be Kira taking a break, but L suspected more than just a break. He said we shouldn't take this as a rest, but rather be aware of current events. At that time, the two suspects were still in custody. Although the detective didn't see any movement from Light, he still was under suspicion. How stubborn that man is!

Eventually, two weeks went by without hearing from Kira and in the end, L was forced to release them. He even suggested that Mogi would keep Misa under surveillance. At first, the girl refused, but the policeman told her to take it as a bodyguard protection. After all, Misa had some relative public recognition. Thus, the Kira case was forgotten for a while.

One day of these, I was surfing the net, using one of those big computers when I suddenly came across a strange website. It didn't look like a common website and even seemed directly related to the case. "L, check this out," I said.

He came sliding onto those metal chairs and took a look at the screen. It was a site that initially seemed to belong to some company. But reading through the columns of various articles, we saw it belonged to a group of gangsters whose goal was to collect information on every police station in Japan, in order to find the names of the officers involved in the case, but also to support Kira's work. According to these articles, he's been dead since October 31st. The company was called Yotsuba and consisted of eight members. They also had a secret base which was located in a multi-storey building like ours. Kira's work would continue in early November. Cold sweat ran down my spine when I realized the month was November 2nd.

We showed the chief and the cops the site of Yotsuba and the theories immediately started pouring in. Everyone gave their opinion on Yotsuba and possible collaboration with Kira. Aizawa said everything they wrote was fake news just to spread terror. Kira was probably still alive and just worked for him.

"But, there doesn't seem to be any photo showing Kira's autopsy. I mean... If they're really working with Kira, shouldn't they know his face too? Besides, if they really want us dead, what's the reason? What have we done?" Matsuda said.

"Not necessarily. They can communicate by using the phone. But, Matsuda, seems to forget a murderer never has a reason for killing. Murder is always done for pleasure. Even now that someone is supposedly saving the world from criminals." Aizawa said.

"What am I even talking about? You don't understand such things, do you? It's pretty obvious you're a pure fool!" he mocked him.

"Hey! Just because I expressed a question doesn't mean you have to label me!"

"No, but... I always think logically unlike you."

"Logically? So with which way I think?"

"The way of stupidity. I wonder how you even became a policeman..." the other man continued making fun of him.

"Tell him to stop, Mr. Chief! He's annoying!" Matsuda whined.

"Hey! Don't fight!" I tried to separate them.

"We don't. I'm just trying to explain to Matsuda what an actual killer is. You don't get along with a fool, do you?"

"I'm not!" Matsuda refused with stubbornness.

"Marina's right. You're both grown-up men, and yet you act like children!" The chief scolded them.

"This isn't fair for a policeman not to know why a killer kills! They clearly want to taste blood!"

"But why should you call him a fool in the first place? That young kid just asked a simple question, he didn't do anything wrong."

"First of all, he's not a kid! He'll turn twenty-five in December. Unless you mean he's acting like a child, in which case I'll go with that."

"I called him a kid because he's still young, you know!" I said. Not that I was angry. I loved watching two adults arguing like elementary school kids. Their "disagreement", albeit silly, lightened the heavy ambience of the case for a while.

"Let's end this conversation at last! There's no reason why we even argue! And all this because I expressed a question that I didn't know was forbidden!" Matsuda said and turned to L's side.

"Ryuzaki, is there any work I can take on and complete? Apparently am not skilled enough to express questions... It can't be, I might have some skills too!"

L looked at him expressionless.

"Do you really want to do something where you can be useful?"

"Yes!"

"Then make me a cappuccino."

"You too, Ryuzaki?!" he was surprised.

"Go..I think you're a good fit for this job."
