Addison was in her room getting ready for the day when she heard music being played from the main bathroom. As she got closer she heard Oki Doie by Karol G playing. Henry was in his way texting his friend and had headphones in his ears. She took out one ear phone and asked "Whose music?"

"Sofia's" Henry answered his mom.

"What is she doing?" Addison asked.

"Her affirmations" Henry said to Addison "she'll be done after Megan thee stallion comes on. Right now she's on Karol G."

"How do you know?"

"It's been her routine ever since she broke up with 't worry, she does this when she's home as well."

Addison was still confused when her son walked away from her and went down the stairs "Tell her, I'll be downstairs waiting for her so we could go hang with the triplets, Mason and Lucas."

Addison went over to the bathroom and opened the door. She looked to her left to see Sofia in heels squatting on the counter bouncing to the beat of the music. Sofia had on black heels, skinny jeans and a long sleeve sweater crop top. Her hair in a ponytail which swung from side to side with every movement. Sofia was putting on silver hoop earrings and a silver bracelet that Addison gave her for twenty-first birthday. Addison was shocked by the balance her goddaughter had in the heels while on the counter. The song came to an end, Sofia still unaware that her aunt is right there. Grabs her phone and puts Megann thee Stallion Cocky AF as the song played Sofia was vibing rapping lyrics to lyrics. Sofia wasn't playing any games. Despite the song Addison loved that Sofia was pouring the love into herself. She leaned against the doorway and smiled at her niece. Once the song was over Sofia looked over to see her aunt smiling at her.

"How long have you been there?" Sofia asked as she stayed in her position.

"Long enough to see the a concert" Addison chuckled at her niece who was texting someone.

"Yeah, ever since Elijah and I broke up. I did this anyway wayyy before he broke up. I just had to upgrade it." Sofia says as she thinks about her answer.

"Are you comfortable like that?" Addison asked Sofia

"Yeah"

"How do you feel about the break up" Addison asked, knowing it's been about three weeks.

"Tia I'm thick in the thighs, thick in the waist, thick in the right fucking places. I'm good." Sofia says as she moves her hands along her curves then smacks her butt "I'm okay. I had my shots of alcohol with the girls and I cried. I'm moving on. I'm the daughter of the best doctors, plastic, othreotehic and peds. I'm the goddaughter to the best neonatal surgeries, she's double board certified and has fellowship in medical genetics. I'm the niece of a neurologist. I have connections to doctors in New York, Seattle, LA, and even Switzerland. I'm good." Sofia says as she stands on Addison's bathroom counter then jumps off landing on her feet perfectly.

Sofia turned around to face the mirror. She went through her makeup bag, found her black cherry lipstick and applied it to her lips. "I'm an honored Forbes-Montgomery. I carry the hidden last name with pride much as I do with Sloan-Torres. I have a lot to accomplish I learned from the women in my life to never settle for anything, not even a man. I'm a med student. I'm building my own future. Not trying to build a man. I'm princesa guerrera for a reason, not just any man is going to be able to handle my charming personality. That's why like my mom I decided to stop telling guys about my trust fund." Sofia as she puckered her lips.

"That's good. Very great for you" Addison says as she looked at her goddaughter she grew into a woman that she herself admired.

Sofia was checking out her outfit "Plus most guys only want one thing these days. Yeah I want it to but c'mon dude simulate my mind. Romance me. Make me think about our date when you drop me off. Shit give me that Montgomery and Riley love."

Addison nodded her head in agreement. Sofia grabbed her purse from the sink counter "I might be a cute face but I got common sense. I'm waiting for something real."

"You sound confident and sure that you know what you want next."

"Of course." Sofia tells Addison "You always taught me don't change myself for no man. To stand in my beliefs, morals and values" Addison had a flashback of her letting go of Sam. And finding her happiness with Jake.

"Not to interact girl chat but are you ready, Chanel?" Henry yelled from the bottom of the steps. Sofia and Henry gave each other designer nicknames. She was Chanel and he was Michael Kors but stuck with Michael. It was confusing to others but made sense to them.

Sofia rolled her eyes "Alright, Michael. I'm coming."Sofia says as she kisses her aunt's cheek "I love you titi. I'll see you later"

Sofia walked down the hallway and down the stairs. Addison felt prideful of her goddaughter. She grew into a woman of wisdom. Addison helped shape the woman of who she is today. Even though she didn't have a daughter, Sofia easily found her way into that spot. Like a Sloan she weasels her way into your heart. Like a Torres she was a strong person. Like a Robbins she was always putting others first. Like a Montgomery she to keep your cool even under pressure.
