Sofia ran through the hallways of the hospital, trying to find the one person who always made her day. Her legs taking her in the direction of where her favorite person is.

Addison was visiting the hospital for the week while the head obgyn was out on maternity leave. Addison now didn't mind coming to the hospital to help out every once in a while. It got her away from LA. Callie was visiting the hospital as well, she was in town for Zola's birthday and Meredith needed her favorite orthopedic to help out and Callie couldn't say no.

Addison and Callie were sitting in the cafeteria when Sofia ran towards their table. The teenage girl was out of breath as she leaned against the table catching her breath. Addison and Callie looked at her very confused, not sure why she was here. Sofia reaches over to grab Addison's water and takes a sip. The older woman looked at her with a raised eyebrow, she was used to it but sometimes it still surprised her.

"Hello to you too Sofi" Callie says as she took a bite of her sandwich and looks at her daughter.

"You will never guess what I did" Sofia said in between breaths.

"What?" Addison says as she opens her bag of chips and puts one in her mouth.

"I just kissed a girl." Sofia says as she claps and jumps in the air.

"What? When? Details bitch" Addison happily as she pulls a seat out for her goddaughter who took the seat while Callie was still in shock.

"Okay, Zola, Tuck, Derek Bailey and I were hanging out. Derek has this female friend who flirts with me every once in a while." Sofia says as Addison listens attentively "We were at the park, we start walking a trail but no one else wanted to go with us. Along the trail we were talking and then next thing I know, she kissed me." Sofia says happily, Addison gave her a high five.

"So does this mean you're into both or just boy or girls?" Addison asks the young girl.

Callie was still in shock that her daughter kissed a girl. She wasn't upset or mad, she was just in shock. She didn't think her daughter liked girls and she wouldn't judge her if she did. She would be supportive, it felt like her daughter was growing up.

"Uhhh I don't know truthfully" Sofia says to Addison as she takes a fry from her Tia plate.

"Don't worry you have time." Addison assured the young girl.

"Would it be a crime if I liked both?" Sofia asked Addison.

"No, it wouldn't. Your mom likes both…?" Addison says as she looks at Callie who was still in shock. Addison knew her friend's love life so she didn't mind taking control of the talk "Yeah she still likes both. I know the last time it was a girl." Addison says as she picks up a fry and eats it. "Either way we are a no judgment zone family"

"Exactly, it's kinda new, exciting and kinda anxious."

"Sofibug, you're young. Eighteen to be exact, live your life." Addison tells her goddaughter "Just be smart, and don't be a woman-whore. I dealt with one and I don't wanna deal with another one."

"Tia, it's not my fault that they can't resist my charm." Sofia says as she flips her hair.

"You're definitely, your father daughter" Addison says as she laughs and shakes her head.

"What can I say?" Sofia says then looks over at her mom "Is mom okay?" Sofia looks over at her mom and sees that she's still zoned out.

Addison waves her hand in front of Callie face "Callie, are you still with us?"

Callie shook her head. She looked at her daughter and best friend who was both looking at her with raised eyebrows. "I never thought I would hear my daughter say she kisses a girl."

"Are you okay with it?" Sofia asked her mama.

"Well yeah, I have to remember now in this day and age it's more open to be gay or bi. I have to remember that people are okay with loving freely. A part of me is still going to be scared because you know with people and not everyone is so welcoming. I'm always going to be scared." Callie says as she looks at her daughter.

Sofia stood up from her seat and went to hug her mom. "I'm going to be careful mama."

"Good, now tell your titi and I more about her" Callie says as the two separate from the hug and Sofa moves her seat in between Addison and Callie.
