Addison walked into the breakroom of the practice. She went over to the cabinet took out a cup, and went to the cabinet to get her juice she had every morning. In the breakroom was Violet, Amelia, Charlotte, Cooper, Sam, Sheldon (who was visiting) and Naomi. Addison poured the juice into the cup and said morning to everyone.
"You don't seem happy this morning" Amelia stated as she looked at Addison while eating her cereal.
Addison took a long sip of drink and slammed the cup onto the counter "Who pissed you off?" Sheldon asked the redhead.
Addison took a deep breath "I had a very very unnecessary argument with a friend last night. Which resulted in her not talking to me. Good thing is Callie isn't mad at me but it's going to be interesting when she comes down next time."
Everyone in the room knew that Addison had Sofia every summer to spend time with her.
"Who pissed off Torres?" Amelia asked knowing Callie it takes a lot to piss her off.
Addison looked at her long time friend but decided to keep her mouth shut. She wasn't in the mood for an argument at least this early in the morning. Addison ignored Amelia, "Sofia has a cousin who I knew was visiting with her from Seattle and I'm allowing him to stay at my house with Sofia. He sleeps in Henry's room with Henry and Sofia sleeps in her room." She explained to the group who didn't know Leo.
"Does the cousin normally come with Sofia when she's visiting?"
"No. It's her "cousin" from Seattle" Addison says.
"Bailey's son?" Sam asked knowing Bailey had a son when he was there.
"No, he's in camp. It's Derek Bailey"
"Your nephew Amelia?" Sheldon asked as she nodded her head.
"Yeah, he wanted to come to LA and hang out with Henry. You know once you mention LA to Sofia she's on the flight as well. I was asked to do a consultant. "
"His mom was okay with it?" Asked Sam.
"Yeah, she trusts me for the most part even if I piss her off. I piss off Addison and look she still trust me"
"I'm still curious about this unnecessary fight" Cooper says
"Let's not talk about it," Naomi says as she took a sip of her coffee.
"You always wanna talk" Charlotte says as she put a spoonful of yogurt in her mouth.
"Not this time"
" I'm going to go on a limb here and say you were involved"
"Yeah and I said I was sorry" Naomi says to Sheldon who was right.
"What did you do that involved my nephew and sofia?" Amelia asked wondering what he could've done.
Addison looked at her friend as she crosses her arms across her chest. "Tellem Nai or I will"
"Addison this isn't about you"
"It is about me when it involves my goddaughter." She says angrily
"Addison drop it"
"No, because now it involves my nephew and one of my close friends' daughter. Addi what happened?" Amelia asked, causing Naomi to scoff.
"I got a picture sent to my phone from Naomi. I looked to see that it was Sofia and Derek Bailey. She's telling me that Sofia let a boy into my house and how Sofia should respect me." Addison explains to the group of coworkers.
"I said I was sorry."
"You thought Sofia would bring a random kid to Addison's house? Not every girl is Maya." Amelia says, sticking up for the two teens.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"That you shouldn't go around accusing kids unless you know the full story." Sheldon defended Amelia.
"Plus Sofia is very respectful to Addison. I believe she knows better than to have boys at Addison's house when shes not there." Charlotte says sticking up for Sofia.
"I admitted I was wrong." Naomi admits to the group.
"Not until Sofia got Callie and I on a three way call"
"Where was Jake and Henry?" Sam asked
"He was playing basketball, he asked the two if they wanted to go and they said no. Henry was with his birth mom, they didn't want to interfere even though she said it was okay."
"Wait, why are you explaining yourself Addison? You know those kids were good." Amelia says to Addison. "That would explain why Sofia was talking to me in Spanish when I came back to the house. She was pissed off."
"Did you say sorry to Sofia?" Violet asked knowing Sofia wasn't going to accept it.
"I tried but she wasn't having it" Naomi tells the group around her.
"Oh you got Spanish Sofia" Charlotte says as she went to wash her spoon. "My favorite Sofia" Charlotte smiled at her friend. "You're on her bad side from here on out. The only time I get Spanish Sofia is when I need a translator."
"And Amelia I'm sorry that I thought your nephew was a random boy"
"It's fine for now. But you gotta stop being such a hypocrite and act like your shit doesn't stink." Amelia says getting up from where she was sitting. "I'm going to the hospital for a consultation on a patient."
"Imma say this once Naomi when it comes to my goddaughter don't cross that line. You might be my friend but I will always defend her." Addison says as she walks away from her friend.
