Hello, everyone! This chapter is a filler chapter which was kinda hard to write because I felt unmotivated lately.
Sorry for the delay in chapters but I just writing the 26th chapter and the chapters aren't pre-written.
With this chapter I suggest listening to Joel Sunny's Luminary.
Hope you like it! Enjoy!
Be Somebody
Chapter 25: Grave Secrets Digging
The weeks that came were full on stress. Mornings they were classes, lunch time paired with some brainstorming or attempting to create/check the brewing of some potion.
And in all of this mess, Nansia noticed how Peter, Lizzie's and Josie's cousin, would look at her and in general at them whenever they would rush away from the cafeteria the moment they got their food. The suspicion and anger as if they were causing him actual physical harm!
It rubbed her the wrong way…
Peter wanted so badly to figure out what his cousins and friends were hiding and why wasn't he clued in?
But we never know how lucky people are when they're blissfully unaware and Peter will grow older and regret snooping in.
Peter's snooping started when he broke into his cousins' room and tried to look through their notebooks since he didn't found any of their laptops. And that was during lunch. And like that he went through everyone's rooms including Penelope's and Nansia's room. And all of them were clean…clean to his eyes. While snooping in MG's and Kaleb's room he missed a few things that could have clued him in but Peter himself had no idea what he was looking for in the first place.
He realized it when he found himself in the school's library researching topics for one of his projects and overheard the following conversation;
"So, how is the potion making going?" Lizzie asked her sister, Josie.
"It's going. I'm finishing the final touches to it. Is the next phase ready?" Josie asked slightly nervous.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" Josie nervously asked her sister whose sigh was heard loudly and it was a sigh of annoyance.
"Yep! Let's go! Ryan is about to arrive and we have lot of work to get done!" Lizzie exclaimed in a bossy tone as she grabbed Josie arm and essentially run to the Old Mill.
Peter took that chance to follow them and see what they were doing. He arrived at the Old Mill and the once empty party space that even looked abandoned was now a full blown lab and research area maybe even a library! And on the side of the building they were herb gardens with blooming herbs. How did they manage to do this without Uncle Alaric or Aunt Caroline realize it?
Do they even pay attention at this point?!
He had a half a mind to storm in and demand answers but he saw Nansia with somewhat tall guy with curly dark hair. The guy was dressed in a black leather jacket and black wool shirt underneath paired with washed out dark jeans and black boots. That guy and Nansia were casually holding hands when they arrived that made Peter realize that they were in some sort of relationship. It would be very awkward if he later learns they're brother and sister…
But we know they aren't.
Watching from the shadows and a not very far distance and tried to use his werewolf hearing but he couldn't, they had put a silence spell all over the Old Mill! So, he ended up watching a form of mysterious charades of the tall guy giving his blood and pieces of hair and skin willingly to his twin cousins who preserving them in weird yellow napkins from the cafeteria. What are they doing?
Then he saw Penelope appearing with a werewolf guy he recalled being introduced to with the name Rafael and carrying a microscope. And Lizzie giving them the napkin with the skin sample and Penelope started studying it while dictating things to Rafael who was writing them down in a notebook.
The guy the Nansia brought hesitantly went over Penelope and Rafael and peered to see what they were seeing in the microscope but it freaked her out because she jumped back and stepped on his foot and Rafael laughed at her and Ryan's pained expression.
What are they doing?
Then Peter's eyes fell to a different table in the Old Mill that reminded him of his and his mentor's lab table, they were planning to make or already are making something technological along with magical.
That confused him so much more! What are they doing for God's sake?
On the adult front, Alaric gave order that no classes would be taken to other places outside the campus. Making them continue classes something none of them liked so they continued because their paychecks depended on it.
Jeremy though actively added martial arts and use and assembling of supernatural-killing weapons although weapons-making was left to older classes and older students. Most students found it odd and demanded answers which Alaric gave, Malivore was an active threat and they needed all hands on deck.
Some students protested saying they were kids not soldiers but Nansia spoke and said if they wanted to continue living here they had to make sure there was a place to call it home and live in, allowing Malivore to destroy it defeated the purpose.
That was enough to shut the mouths.
Being in the bleachers of that meeting did solve some questions in Peter's head yet he still needed to learn why was Malivore attacking them. As far as he knew they were other school similar to the Salvatore Academy, sister-schools in Belgium, Edinburgh, London, New Delhi in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Kenya and two in Australia one in Melbourne and one in New Zeeland yet those schools were safe from monsters. Why Mystic Falls was never allowed to be a normal quaint town? On another note, Bonnie was advocating and trying to persuade Alaric and Caroline to open more schools in the African continent since it seemed they were far more young witches there than anywhere else in Europe or Asia. While Professor Emma Tigg suggested opening a school in either Ankara or Istanbul but Turkey had blocked their attempts at negotiations and most witches, vampires and werewolves there had to be sneaked out of the country and safely taken to any other school in the European or Asian continents, a dreadful ordeal.
So, Peter walked into his uncle's office and demanded answers at last catching them with no agreed story beforehand. It was his last mistake of learning a truth he will not be able to walk away. He was signing his name with blood on the war. He had just been unknowingly and might some say foolishly got himself drafted.
"Peter, for your own health both physical and mental you don't want to know! Trust me, kid!" Alaric warned his nephew who eyed him suspiciously.
"Trust goes both ways, uncle Ric! What has been happening has cost the lives of your parents and almost your entire family." Alaric added still feeling the need to at least manage to protect one member of his family.
"TELL ME!" Peter growled and his eyes flashed their werewolf yellow thinking it would be enough to scare his uncle. He was thinking wrong.
"Peter I'm doing this for your own good, you don't want to be involved." Alaric insisted and Peter sighed in defeat.
"Then I'll find out my way! Because you're all my family and if you're in danger I will be the dick that stood in the sideways allowing to happen when I could possibly be helping or averting the entire situation!" Peter exclaimed stubbornly with small hints of fear in his voice and eyes. His eyes had more fear though they were wide and wild with it and Alaric really wondered what has he been up to since that odd bite of a spider and his newly acquired powers that could cause that look in his nephew's eyes.
"Are you okay back home? Have you gotten involved with anything dangerous?" Alaric asked concerned completely turning the vibe of the room and the previous conversation on its head. Peter gaped at the audacity of the question and how could oblivious Uncle Alaric know what has he been up to on Earth 34.
"Uncle Ric, I'm not a child anymore, I can take it. I can help keep this school and this family!" Peter begged eyes wide and pleading.
Alaric watched him, studied him, and in all honesty he wanted to clue him in.
"Sit down, kid and I will be back." Alaric said sighing as he started walking out of the office causing Peter to look at him shocked and confused.
Alaric knew that if he was about to break the news to another person he needed to let know the kids, Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, Emma and Dorian. As he was going to Caroline's office he shot a group text to Jeremy, Bonnie, Emma and Dorian because he knew he had no time to waste to look for them through the campus.
As he knocked on the door Caroline was heard talking to someone but knocked anyways it was more important what he had to say than the phone call he was sure of it. And for that is why he didn't wait for a "come in" from Caroline.
Caroline glared at him seeing but he mouthed that it was important causing Caroline to roll her eyes at him.
"Felicity, please take yourself to the hospital and get yourself checked out. The symptoms do sound horrible and concerning. Keep me updated and I'll see who I can send to help you bring the students here and in general be of help." Caroline said concerned and a bit in a hurry.
"Alright, get well soon, Felicity! Talk to you in a few hours. Bye!" Caroline hang up and Alaric had to admit it to himself he felt concern for their fellow faculty member. Felicity Smoak had been a great asset to them and had been one constant family member of Hope's serving as her half guardian the other half were him and Caroline. Yet, Felicity was the one attending the PTA meetings and getting Hope's grade reports. The rest of the Mikaelson clan hadn't been that involved and he didn't know why. When he tried to pry Felicity shut him down telling him it's a family business and he's not family. How Felicity Smoak came to be considered family to the Mikaelsons was again another mystery, Hope and Felicity both appeared with Hayley when Hope enrolled in his school. Hayley said that she felt a lot more safe having Felicity keep an eye out while she cleaned up New Orleans and made it safe for her daughter. That never happened though…
Felicity was with Hayley and Hope when Hayley was killed, according to Hope Felicity was at death's door too but Klaus was fast enough to heal her with his blood.
Felicity in the school was teaching Computer Science and Magical Science a subject she and Bonnie co-created teaching kids science and magic and how those two could co-exist. Also, Felicity was the head of STEM society club in Mystic Falls bringing students from Mystic Falls High and Salvatore Academy together to learn about the wonders of science. And for that he was grateful, she brought to the table things that he and Caroline hadn't thought about. None of them were science inclined.
"What is it Alaric?" Caroline asked annoyed by his lack of etiquette on this moment.
"Peter demands to know the truth and I think we need to clue him in." Alaric said and Caroline glared at him.
"NO! May, Tyler and Liv, especially Tyler, wanted him to have a normal life! He gets to come here to learn about his hybrid sides! Not to become a soldier in a war that isn't his to fight!" Caroline categorically exclaimed and Alaric hung his head in despair.
"Well, Caroline; May, Tyler and Liv aren't here to help remedy this, as much as it pains me to say this…he wants to learn the truth and get scared it's his prerogative maybe it's the only way for him to truly understand that he shouldn't get involved in this." Alaric said at a loss of ideas.
Caroline exhaled deeply and knew there was no way out of this, Peter had to be brought into the metaphorical fold…
So, both of them putting a united front they returned to Alaric's office where Peter was still waiting while lightly snooping through student files in the small library near the door on its shelves the files were of letter on them.
Peter had skipped L files because he had read them before when he was snooping for answers. But in the N section he notice a newer folder that wasn't there before its space was empty last time. He didn't lose time to open the file and saw a picture of Nansia staring the camera and giving a small unsure smile while titling her head to right. It was a cute picture it brought the kindness in her unlike how he had known her the few weeks he was here.

End of page 1:
Peter was about to flip to the next page when the door of the office swung open revealing his uncle and aunt.
"Peter! What are you doing with those?" Alaric scolded him and his face looked angrier when he realized which file he was peeking through.
"What the hell is going on? Time travel? Cryogenic sleep?" Peter exclaimed in confused rage as he raised the page about Nansia information. His eyes flashing yellow as he spoke. Alaric took a step back in instinctual preservation and Caroline sprung in defense.
"Peter, calm yourself down, at once!" Caroline spoke stepping in between Alaric and Peter.
"I will calm down once you tell me what the hell is going in this school! It used to be safe!" Peter yelled angrily once again and Alaric took a deep breath before going towards his office desk and turned to library behind him. He took a big old book out that had the letters: "Petrova" on them in golden letters. Slamming it on his desk the desk itself shook and he sat on his chair.
"Sit down, Peter and listen if you want so much to know what is going." Alaric said with a gravely serious tone and Peter felt Caroline's arm on his shoulders pushing him to the chair.
For the following three hours Peter was introduced to the shitshow of the past few months plus had a lot of past details from his parents' adventures, specifically his father's escapades with the elusive Katherine Pierce and the Travelers.
"It's because I'm my father's son and she's a Traveler that is why I don't like her? Subconsciously I know what they put him through? And what they put my mum and Uncle Luke through?" Peter asked confused and dazed by the new information dump.
"Considering you had no idea, no it's not because of that, it's totally on you, kid." Alaric explained tiredly. He felt mentally spent.
"I want to help, what can I do?" Peter asked them and looked both Caroline and Alaric.
"As much as we would like to be more in the intimate know of what is going your cousins keep the information pretty close to their chest. If you want to help go ask them." Alaric said a bit disappointed.
"Why don't you pull the "I'm an adult" card on them?" Peter asked confused.
"Because Nansia pulled rank on us, she's 19 so technically an adult too." Caroline said somewhat amused yet disapproving of the situation.
"I don't like this." Peter said anxiously and the adults nodded.
"You can be our eyes and ears." Caroline suggested hopefully and Peter nodded.
"It feels right! You guys are seasoned in such matters or similar situations at least, keeping you in the dark it feels as if you have a Wikipedia page with the solution to your problem and refusing to read it and keep going through library after library for the answers." Peter said eagerly and the adults grinned.
"Then it's decided, you'll be our way in!" Alaric said excited and a bit relieved.
Peter bid them goodbye and walked out of the office not bothering to pick up the mess he had left behind which caused Caroline to do tidy it up.
"Let's hope this won't betray the kids' trust in us." Caroline mused slightly unsure by her very own suggestion now.
"Have you told the kids though?" Caroline added nervously and Alaric shook his head no with pressed lips. The stress lines on his forehead highlighted.
"There is going to be hell to pay if they find out…" Caroline warned him displeased and worried about the repercussions.
Peter walked the halls of the school still reeling from the confusing information he had just received and the offer his aunt Caroline had proposed. How could he prove himself useful to his cousins and their friends?
In the other side of the campus, Nansia, the twins and Ryan with Penelope and Rafael were looking at the skin sample as Penelope carefully with a syringe let a few drops of a concoction the twins made.
While discussing how to help Ryan get rid of his golem infection and freeing his witchy side Rafael had suggested they make a potion with bases things that were toxic to golems and try to exercise it. He told them that when his foster parents tried to exercise him the priest wet his with holy water and that shit burned. Hope had said that it was holy water mixed with wolfbane but said that maybe holy water could be toxic to golems. Ryan had laughed at that and said that he had gone to church and touched holy water it did nothing.
Then Lizzie suggested that since Malivore's demise was Hope then maybe they should try mixing Hope's blood and werewolf venom with holy water. At that Rafael said it could work and just as they finished the concoction they getting ready to try it, Josie stopped them as she held a book she unearthed from their school's library.
"A golem is inscribed with Hebrew words such as in Prague mythos, Polish mythos as well as the tales of the Brothers Grimm. The word "emet" which in Hebrew means "truth" would be written on its forehead by the creator. A golem can be deactivated when the "e" is erasing the aleph in "emet" thus changing the inscription from "truth" to "dead" which in Hebrew is the word "met"." Josie read from the book and everyone looked even more confused.
"My fa…my creator doesn't have any word written on his forehead." Ryan said worried and at loss.
"Then my blood is still the answer." Hope said seriously and a bit disappointed because she didn't want to die but she would give up everything to protect this school, her family! Yet when Josie came with the book a small sliver of hope flattered into her chest and instinctively she grabbed Ryan's hand and he squeezed it before they exchanged a small glance, eyes with hopelessness.
"It seems so…sorry Hope." Lizzie said as she gently pat her shoulder. But Josie kept reading;
"In the 12th century Samuel of Speyer was said to have created a golem but no evidence are left behind to back that claim. While in the 11th century Solomon ibn Gabirol created a golem, a female by some accounts for household chores. The existence of golems is sees as both a blessing and a curse. Golems are not intelligent…" that is bullshit! Hear the other pages I found!" Josie started reading with a confused and offended look and stopped reading it before starting to flip to another page she had bookmarked.
"In many depictions golems are inherently perfectly obedient. In the myths of the Golem of Chelm became enormous and uncooperative, in that version of the story the rabbi had to resort to trickery to deactivate it, the rabbi caused a fatal injury to the creator of the golem and the golem itself causing their deaths." And that is the second passage I found about ending it. We can locate the bloodlines that created Malivore by speaking to the Spirits and then tricking Malivore into trying to save them to ensure his survival which it will fail causing it to die and with it the particles that have been infecting Ryan making him a normal witch if he survives. But nobody else has to die! Not you and if your life is put in danger I'm sure modern medicine and little witchy woo will give you more chances for survival and not Hope!" Josie read eagerly and everyone looked confused those were information they hadn't had come across in their little library session in Atlanta.
Why?
Who donated this book?
"Josie, I'm so honored that you managed to find this but I truly don't think it is real information and I don't feel comfortable betting on a unsure maybe. At least with what we have a plan we can test it out on skin graphs taken from me and see what works and what doesn't. But we can have it as Plan C if all else fails." Ryan tried to let down Josie as carefully as he could. It hurt him having to say that because she supported him a few times these past few weeks.
Josie frowned in defeat and Hope with Lizzie quickly went in for a group hug.
"So back to testing the concoction?" Penelope asked for reassurance as she still held the syringe. The teens nodded a bit disappointed. Alas the disappointment will not last long.
As they let a few drops fall on the skin graph the skin sizzled like an egg on a well burned oil pan. Penelope added more and the skin became angrier red while black goo started emitting itself from the pores. Rafael quickly rushed to get another specimen jar and a tongue presser and guided the good into it and sealed it shut. The skin looked angry and red like having a bad sunburn. Penelope put it back under the microscope and reported that he only saw dead skin cells.
They decided to let it rest for a few days and see if it started to heal itself.
"So, I only have to bathe in holy water and Hope's bodily fluids?" Ryan asked as they sat down trying to digest their findings as Lizzie typed them on her computer and Nansia wrote them by hand updating their databases.
"That is disgusting and it sounds so inappropriate!" Ryan exclaimed uncomfortable and Hope mirrored his tone with her face as she hugged herself and tried to sink into the cushions of the couch they were sitting on.
"Morally inappropriate should be the least of our worries." Penelope stated harshly and Ryan with Hope threw her side-eyed glares.
"Why you say that?" Hope asked in an accusatory tone.
"Because the enemy doesn't bother itself with moral questioning; if it did we would be terrorized by monsters all the time!" Penelope explained annoyed and Nansia found herself agreeing with her silently as she wrote.
"What if we put all that in an IV form and connect it to Ryan's bloodstream then witches can be on standby to burn the golem goo!" Rafael suggested excitedly and everyone looked hopeful at Ryan who shrugged and said he was game.
"But first we need to test the golem goo sample and learn its capabilities and weaknesses." Lizzie said wisely without bothering to look up from the computer screen.
The rest of the day they tested every element on the goo seeing it survive them all. They were at loss so they locked the goo and skin graph away and decided to call it a day. Josie and Lizzie went to their backup botanic garden and worked on watering them and checking them before they too return to their dorms.
In Nansia's and Penelope's dorm, both girls took turns showering before taking a well deserved nap before dinner.
At dinner they not yet named Super Squad sat at their table with their foods aimlessly talking when Peter slammed his tray down.
Everyone looked at him confused as to why he wasn't with Sylvia or his other in-school buddies.
"What are you doing sitting with us?" Lizzie asked quite rudely, suspicious and abrupt while delivering her best Parker glare.
"Why would I need a reason to sit with my cousins?" Peter retorted and gave a cruel smile and in that moment if they knew Kai Parker they would be scared how alike their faces morphed with that cruel expression on his face.
"No but your whole aura is off. And that means you have nefarious reasons for sitting here with us." Penelope voiced surprising everyone with how protective her tone was.
"Not to mention, that the past few weeks you have been snooping around us and antagonizing Nansia." Kelab added with the same distrusting tone as Lizzie.
Peter eyed them for moment, they way they protected each other was quite admirable and cute. He had seen the Avengers back each other up during battle. He wanted to be in such group that is why he was so proud to be an honorary member of the Avengers and hopefully a future member. But right now he wanted an in on their group.
"Look, I'm sorry for my behavior the last few weeks but try to see it from my point of view and understand that I showed up here thinking that everyone was well and safe only to hear horror stories from my friends and roommates. My family who were supposed to protect them aren't allowing me to learn what really is going on and I see three new students with obscure backgrounds and pasts. In our world such things and people can kill you and we have already lost too much, I was trying to understand so I can be ready to help if the case arises. And now I know everything and I'm here if you need an extra hand." Peter gave the most unrehearsed speech he has ever given to anyone. Allowing his emotions to show and the cruel façade he had at the beginning of this slipped off as if it stepped on a banana peel.
The look of confusion and horror accompanied the faces of the rest of the table facing Peter was hilarious if he wasn't being sincere he would have laughed because it was comical.
"Everything? What you mean you know everything?" Josie asked horrified and scared her voice shaking.
"Oh! I mean everything!" Peter spoke and again his mannerisms were identical to Kai's when he wasn't being too unhinged but was causing some mayhem and enjoying it.
"Who told you everything?" Lizzie questioned with an angry tone and her tone rose in octaves as she jumped up from her seat.
"Uncle Ric and Aunt Caroline." Peter answered shrugging and took a bite from his pizza.
Lizzie stormed out of the cafeteria while the rest of the group glared at him.
"And you think that will breath in trust in us to allow you into any new developments other than what you already know?" Hope questioned angrily.
"No but this will; your parents slash teachers want me to be a double agent, spying on you and reporting back to them." Peter said diplomatically as he kept eating.
"Again that doesn't prove your loyalties to anyone. You just betrayed both Doctor Saltzman and Headmistress Caroline by telling us the offer given to you." Nansia added with a small glare and he met her glare.
"I disagree I warn you about a weakness in your arsenal." Peter suggested proudly and Nansia glared harder at him.
"If you glare any harder you might pop a vein, Wolfblood witch." Jed whispered to her and she whipped her head his direction and tried to calm down.
"Wolf boy is right, Nancy!" Peter said chuckling and suddenly his chair was pulled away from under him and he landed on his ass causing the entire cafeteria to chuckle at him.
Sylvia appeared from the sea of students her hand half bend upwards.
"A word, Peter!" Sylvia said disapprovingly and saddened.
Peter got up and followed Sylvia out of the cafeteria where Sylvia was glaring at him.
"What the fuck, dude!?" Sylvia scolded him and Peter let out a sigh.
"I know I was that bad but my god their infuriating!" Peter whispered exclaimed and Sylvia frowned.
"You are being too harsh on them the new kids caused a lot of stress and turmoil. Your cousins were essentially forced to welcome and accommodate them no matter their baggage and they have a lot! It has been a lot on them both of the new kids and your cousins. Their distrust and clique behavior is a defense mechanism. Even from outside I could see it! You are here once a few months don't expect to be fully included on the happenings except if there's a newsletter giving you updates but there is not. So, check your tone from now on!" Sylvia scolded him with a wise and a bit of tiresome tone.
Peter was starting to gain perspective.
"Were you hurt during one of those attacks?" Peter asked slowly as he started to realize that it's far more complex than he thought.
"I was." Sylvia admitted and she rubbed her elbow and forearm.
"Where?" Peter asked and his eyes fell to her hands.
"You broke your hand." Peter realized horrifically and very quickly he became angry.
"They clearly fail at protecting the school! They're too preoccupied with their own dramas and mysteries to take quick and executive actions! And I will get inside that group to make sure those actions are being taken so I won't let those beasts hurt you more!" Peter exclaimed angrily as he gripped Sylvia's hand and she looked annoyed by his outburst.
"You don't get it, Peter! They are just learning how to deal with this! There's no recipe for this! They're bound to make mistakes! Haven't you make mistakes? They don't need you criticizing them and their efforts! They need help! And if you're not 110% here to help them then you better stay away from them and let them figure this shit out so we can all go back to normal!" Sylvia scolded him again with an exasperated tone and she glared at him and she slithered her hand away from Peter's grip.
With those words Sylvia left Peter and rejoined the cafeteria. Peter was left standing and watching every single face in that place. All were afraid and hurt in some way because of this Malivore yet the only brave enough to do something about it were that medium table near the trash cans, his cousins' table.
Unbeknownst to everyone at the lunch table while Peter was essentially being roasted for his attempt at integrating at their secret club thing, Josie was texting everything Peter said to Lizzie who had stormed off earlier. Lizzie was planning on going directly to her dad's office but on the way there was stopped by Dorian who was trying to explain to the sub-teacher his lesson plan. Curiosity got the best of her and infiltrated the conversation asking what was going on.
"I'm heading out to Singapore, Professor Felicity is stuck with two potential students there and she's sick with some odd virus so I'm going to get the students and bring them back while she relaxes and gets better." Dorian explained in a hurry and Lizzie felt this dizzying feeling her witchy senses get when something is about to go horribly wrong.
"Does Hope know this about her aunt?" Lizzie asked too concern and Dorian cringed in realization he had forgotten to let the tribrid know.
"Can you do it?" Dorian asked her and she nodded.
"Be careful and give my wishes for speedy recovery to Professor Felicity, I missed her classes!" Lizzie said with the kindest tone she could use to muster the fear cracking in between her words.
Lizzie feared for Felicity's condition and Dorian's, of course, but if Felicity got sick and died too and she had to deliver those news to Hope….Hope would start hating her again and they just became friends!
But again Felicity would be another family member of Hope's whose dying on her…that's horrible! First her step-father Jackson, then her mother, then her father and Uncle Elijah!
With these thoughts circling her mind and scary scenarios being formed in her head the boiling anger towards her own parents was pushed aside until her phone rang.
Josie's news about Peter double spy admission brought the boiling anger back at the forth and her random strolling through the grounds turned back into marching towards the Alaric's office.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Lizzie exclaimed as she opened the door of the office making her father jump at the whole energy invading his previously calm office space.
"What?" Alaric asked confused and Lizzie glared at him with so much hatred and betrayal.
"Why are you spilling your guts to Peter? This is how you keep secrets?!" Lizzie questioned him dumbfounded at how easily he stopped keeping his mouth shut.
"He told you!?" Alaric exclaimed in shock and Lizzie nodded.
"Aha! So, why were you so careless? Why you didn't consult us beforehand?" Lizzie pressed her tone was a mixture between disbelief and disapproving astonishment.
"You were all in class and he was pressing and becoming obsessed. I wanted to stop a mess from becoming a mess." Alaric tried to justify it.
"Oh! Thank you very much, dad! Now we have one more person to worry about! Because the whole school wasn't enough!" Lizzie said sarcastically and angry as she turned around and left the office.
There was no way of putting the genie back in the bottle….
Peter was in the fold now…
Peter had now become a soldier in one of the biggest wars to come, that will be fought on multiple levels…and Earths…he didn't know that yet and neither did anyone in this school.
Malivore was only a speck of the real issue leering over them. But hindsight is both a gift and a curse but obliviousness is a comforter tucking you in shielding you from the shit storm to come.
So? What do you think of Peter's POV chapter? And what about the team's advances in their research to defeat Malivore?
Also, if anyone is well-versed in Golem history please share anything because I'm not that well-versed and don't know how to approach this! Thank you!
