She sat in the seat happily. Hands holding onto both sides of the seat and feet swinging as she sees her godmother's surgical team moving around the room. She watched with anticipation waiting to see her aunt perform a c-section. She had chips, apple slices and an apple juice that was given to her by one of the nurses. Around her were residents, attending, interns, and nurses. She felt like she was one of them. Next to her was Derek Shepard and on the other side was Callie. This was a moment the duo who called themselves brother and sister from another mister loved. Seeing the happiness in the young girl's eyes while watching her favorite person.

She saw the OR door open, a woman with her red-hair and her turtle scrub cap was in the OR. "Mama, Tio. Look it's Tia Addison" Sofia said happily as she pointed to Addison. They both smiled at the young girl, yeah she watches all the time but everytime was new to her.

Addison looked up at the young girl who was smiling at her as she moved around the room. "Everyone, today we have a special guest in the gallery today" Addison says as Sofia was bouncing up and down in her seat. The nurses looked up to see Sofia happily in her seat waiting to be introduced even though they all knew her "My special guest is the daughter of Callie Torres, Arizona Robbins and Mark Sloan. My goddaughter Sofia Robbin Sloan-Torres." Sofia smiles hugely waved at the nurses and her aunt who also waved at her. Addison felt prideful to see her goddaughter watching her preform a surgery.

Addison looked at the patient "I'm going to give her information about the surgery. She likes to be involved" The patient nodded her head and smiled seeing the little girl now standing at the glass "Sofi, this is Alyssa Banks. She's carrying twins. She's 39 weeks. And she had a c-section before. Its going to be very quick and fast."

Sofia went over to the speaker button. Richard helped her up and she pressed the button "Congrats on being a new mommy and Good luck Tia" With that Addison started with the c-section. Sofia watched in awe as she saw her aunt perform the c-section. Even though she was five, she felt like she'd been watching her whole life. Soon the room was filled with baby cries and Sofia cheered. Addison looked up to see Sofia jumping up and down happily.

10 years later

Sofia sat in the chair in the gallery of the OR. Waiting for the c-section to start, she's been watching her aunt perform surgeries for years yet the sight never gets old. She saw the nurses move around the OR, prepping for the surgery. She had the chart of the patient ready for when her aunt starts to quiz her on the patient even though they go over it in the patient's room prior. Sitting on either side of Sofia was Callie and Amelia. When Derek died Amelia made a promise to watch Addison's surgeries with her, she loved to watch the joy in the teenager's eyes as she watched her favorite person. Callie loved watching her best friend do surgeries, she knew her friend could save any baby.

Addison walked into the OR, looked up at the gallery, now standing near the speaker preparing herself to be asked the questions. Addison started to speak up "Everyone, today we have a special guest in the gallery today" Sofia smiled loving the feeling of her aunt introducing herself. "My special guest is the daughter of Callie Torres, Arizona Robbins and Mark Sloan. My goddaughter Sofia Robbin Sloan-Torres." To Sofia this never gets old, it makes her giddy and allows her to feel like a five year old again. Amelia and Callie smile at one another knowing how much Addison has influenced Sofia Over the years. The nurses waved to Sofia and she waved back, smiling at them. The nurses never grew old seeing this between the two, it was adorable.

"Alright, Sof, give me the patients info" Addison says as she saw the teenager press the speaker button.

"Nina Rodriguez, 41, high risk. Emergency c-section due to preeclampsia and she's 32 weeks pregnant" Sofia says as Addison gives her a thumbs up

Sofia went back to see death between her mom and aunt. Sofia watched her aunt either every move. Her aunt rarely made any mistakes, maybe a handful. She knew she had a couple of more years til she graduates then medical school. She's going back and forth between neonatal/Fetal natal or plastics. She knew either one her mom's and godmom would support her in. Either way, she was going to be happy in life.

20 years later

Sofia sat in her seat, a seat that she's been sitting in front and center for years. Her mama Callie sat next to her holding her daughter Adeline and to the the other side of her was her husband Luis who was holding their daughter Marcella. Marcella reached over for Sofia who took her in her arms and bounced her daughter on her leg. This is a moment she's sharing with her daughter the same moment her godmom shared with her for years that has passed. Sofia saw the nurses moved around the OR in memory.

Addison came into the OR with Zola and Harriet behind her. Addison looked up and seen Sofia smiling and waving at her. This was one of Addison's last surgeries. She built a legacy for herself throughout her lifetime and she was excited to enjoy her life. She looked at Zola and Harriet. "This will be one of my many last times saying this. It feels almost good to know that I get to pass this along to Zola Grey Shepard. But Everyone, today we have two special guest in the gallery today." Addison says as Marcella points to herself happily, a single tear fell from her eye. She was having flashbacks of Sofia being that small and enjoying her aunt's surgeries. "My special guest are the granddaughters of Callie Torres, Arizona Robbins and Mark Sloan. The daughters of Sofia Sloan-Torres Vasquez and Luis Vazquez and my great goddaughters Marcella Sloan-Torres Vasquez and Adeline Sloan-Torres Vasquez." The nurses in the OR waved at the young girl who was jumping up and down while the newborn was sleeping in her grandma's arms.

"I'm going to be assisting Harriet with the surgery. Then Harriet, it'll be your turn to take over the neonatal and obgyn. Remember that little girl whose sitting in that chair" Addison points to Marcella and Harriet nods her head "She's your biggest supporter much as Sofia was mine. Its a beautiful moment to be their hero. Same things goes for you Zola that baby Callie is holding is going to be your biggest cheerleader. They'll have your back just like how Sofia had mine." Addison says as she waves and then blows a kiss to Sofia. "Okay, Zola you can go back and help your aunt Amelia" Zola nodded and exited the OR room. To go to her OR.

Addison turned to Harriet "You ready?"

Harriet looks up to see her goddaughter Marcella reaching for the speaker button. Henry lifts her up and she says "Good luck Godmommy." Addison was right; it warmed her heart.

Sofia watched the surgery with watery eyes. Even though she went down the plastics route to be more connected to her dad. The memories of her godmom performing surgeries will always be in her heart. She's overjoyed that her daughters will experience this level of joy and happiness. For Sofia, it was the small things and to see her daughter attentively watch her godmom and great godmom made her heart swell.
