Chapter 1

(Upper Echelons)

A young man was walking in a huge palace, he had blonde hair, blue eyes, and had a red, gold, and black left robotic arm, there were 6 gems in the hand. He was dressed in a black, sleeveless hoodie, tights matching his arm's colors, black boots, and dog tags around his neck. His hair was in a shoulder-length ponytail, he also had on a harness with twin M 1911 handguns under his arms, twin Glock .27 handguns in reach around holsters, and an AR-15 sub-automatic rifle on his back.

He was walking with a goddess of a woman, she had red-streaked black hair and silver eyes, and was dressed in a gothic-style dress, stockings, boots, and a hooded cloak. But all white, she had a very beautiful complexion that had a slight blush as she grabbed the man's arm. "Jaune," she said in a soft voice. He looked at her.

"Yes, Summer?" He said.

"When you get to where Lord Ohm sends you, and if she's there, can you take care of my 'Beautiful Rose'?"

"I promise," Summer leaped in his arms.

"Thank You, Jaune!" They entered a huge room and were surrounded by thrones and there were people seated in them. The one they stopped in front of sat an Asian man, in a shirt, vest, slacks, boots, and a fedora he had black hair bleached blond and dark eyes.

"You wanted to see me, Lord Ohm?" Asked Jaune.

"Yes Jaune, you are going home. You have paid your debt, I knew your transcripts were fake. But now you are the hunter anyone would be proud to have to watch their back." Jaune looked proud, "now this is what's going to happen. I am going to send you to a mirror version of your universe. Your original universe, the one you were born in was your 'Birth' or 'Starting' Universe. This 'Mirror' Universe is going to be your 'Home' Universe." Jaune nodded, "But in this universe, your father was killed by someone he had called a friend. Also, your counterpart was killed as well because when your father's friend married your mother, he sealed your semblance up making you disappear. Your mother feared you dead, so I'm going to send you to Arcadia. So you can see her."

"What happened to 'him'?" Asked Jaune.

"Oh, your mother beat him to death."

"Okay, I guess I'm ready to go."

"Wait!" Said Summer.

"Yes, Ms. Rose?"

"What happened to my Little Rose in this universe?" Ohm sighed, he knew this was coming.

"She lost her legs to a monstrous Grim." Summer was horrified, she thought Jaune losing his arm was bad, but to do that to her baby?

"I want to go with Jaune, sir!"

"You'll have to act as his guardian angel."

"I don't care! I want to see my child again!"

"Very well," he snapped his fingers. "She'll be able to see you I'm not taking that from you. As a matter of fact," he snapped his fingers again, and suddenly there was a scream.

"Um, what was that?" Asked Jaune.

"My bringing Ms. Rose back permanently, by destroying that fiend's existence. But, I can only do it once and for one person. Jaune, you have immortality so you don't have to worry about it." Jaune nodded, "alright are you two ready?" They nodded, so with a wave of his hand they were glowing white. "Good luck." With that, they disappeared and Ohm rose out of his chair.

Just then, a young man spoke up. "So what's next for those two?" He said he had long silver hair, and blue eyes, and was dressed in white and silver robes, black slacks, and slippers.

"They do have a mission."

"I thought you said, Arc was done?"

"He is Hal, this is for Remnant itself. Follow me." So Hal got up and followed Ohm to a room off to the side and they went in to see…

"SALEM?" Said Hal.

"Well, a version of her." She gave Ohm a tired glare.

"I will get free Ohm!" She said weakly.

"I'm sure you will, I want you to so you can be Jaune's immortal ancestor again and not… this."

"He shall…" She started.

"We're only trying to help you Salem. Let us."

(Kaer, Kingdom of Arcadia)

Jaune and Summer had appeared on the outskirts of Kaer, it was a large technology hub not only in the kingdom but, on the planet. "Wow, look at that." Said Jaune.

"I can see that," she said. "Let's go, we do have to see your mother." Jaune nodded and they headed for the palace. They were looking around and seeing everything, not knowing they were being followed.

A young woman and her patrol were following him. "Ma'am I have them." She said.

[Follow them.]

"Yes ma'am," just then Jaune had turned his head and She gasped in shock. "Ma'am, the male."

[What about him?]

"It's Prince Jaune."

(Royal Palace)

Rachel Arc was a big woman, she had long blond hair and blue eyes, she was dressed in a brown shirt/ bustier top, rust-red shorts, black stockings, black garter belt, rust-red trench coat, and boots. She also had a headband and her family's crest on her body. Someone came running in, "MA'AM!" she said.

"You don't have to yell." Said Rachel, "What is it?"

"Our spies were following a couple that had entered Kaer."

"Lots of people enter Kaer."

"The male is Prince Jaune."

"What? Did you say my dead son is back?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Bring them to me." The gofer nodded and went to tell the others.

(With Jaune and Summer)

Jaune and Summer were looking at a few things, "look at these shops Jaune." She said he looked at where she was looking. Just then a group of knights had come up to them. The leader went up to Jaune.

"Excuse me, sir," he said. "Are you Jaune Miles Arc?"

"Yes, what can I do to help you?" He said.

"Is your mother's name Rachel?"

"Yes," the knight knelt to him.

"Your Highness, would you please come with us? Your mother wants to see you." Jaune just stared at the knight. Jaune nodded as Summer took his hand then they walked over to the palace.
