Hey yall!
I actually don't have much to say right now.
I was iffy about this chapter, but a few friends told me it was okay, though they aren't into Naruto so Iunno.
Anywho, I hope yall enjoy it!

You should go! All the village's top shinobi will be there!

The words were ringing in Sakura's head as she made her way to the Yamanaka compound. Of course Ino would want to throw a huge Halloween party, but usually when she states the top shinobi will be there, she usually means their group and their significant others. Why she states its the 'top shinobi' she will never know. Maybe she was talking about Sasuke and Naruto? Would that mean she's included? She never knew. All she knew was Kakashi wasn't invited, so it was a little saddening since there were going to be couples everywhere.

Sakura didn't even knock when she got to Ino's place. She simply walked in to see the room was filled with people from their group. Temari and Shikamaru were in the corner with their drinks. Temari noticed Sakura and nodded her head. Sakura waved back, though a little awkwardly after what had happened between those two.

Sakura went over to the makeshift bar and began to make her a drink when both Naruto and Sasuke came over. Naruto had a beer in his one hand while Sasuke didn't have a drink. She still thought it was weird that they lost their arms and almost killed each other. If it wasn't for her, no one would have found them and helped them.

"Of course you two would be here." Sakura muttered, making herself a sex on the beach. One good thing about Ino's parties was that she had top shelf liquor at these things. What a thing to spend your inheritance on.

Naruto, with what looked like a rod went through his neck, had painted his face a dark green, using black paint to make x's across his neck- Frankenstein's monster. It would make sense…

"Why aren't you with Hinata? Isn't she here?" Sakura asked Naruto who shrugged.

"Kiba kept asking what happened during the ear and I don't want to talk about it," He sighed. OF course he didn't want to talk about it.

Sakura then looked at Sasuke. He was in a lab coat. His hair slicked back.
"So, i Guess you're Frankenstein then?" She asked him. Sasuke answered with a solid 'hn'. She knew that in Uchiha speak, that meant yes.

"Honestly, I don't know why Ino decided to have a party. Usually she uses these things to meet me, but she's with Sai. You'd think she would give up on a party." Naruto hummed, drinking his beer.

Sasuke sighed.
"She does it because she wants the attention. It give her a chance to dress up like a slut and– Ow!'

Sakura interrupted Sasuke by pinching him in the arm.

"You can't call her that," She said, downing her drink before going to make another.

Sasuke rubbed where he was pinched, glaring at Sakura. Naruto laughed awkwardly at that.

"What are you supposed to be dressed up as, anyway?" The tall blond asked, looking Sakura over. She was in a strapless red dress, silver heels with cat ears on her head.

"I'm a cat." She answered simply.

"Hmmm… I don't see it." He answered, making Sakura roll her eyes. Naruto began to humm to himself.
"Kurama says it would be more believable if you had a tail,"

Sakura sighed, a little annoyed but she didn't say anything.

"Wait– If Ino uses this to get guys… is that what all the women are here for?" He asked, his voice making him sound a little insecure.

"Don't worry. Hinata won't run off with someone tonight. You two are safe."
Naruto sighed, feeling a little better.
"So then why are you here? Are you here to hook up with someone?"

Sakura took a deep breath, hoping to hide her expression.

"No. I'm here because Ino had asked me to come. Nothing else."

"Well… is there someone here you'd hook up with?"

Sakura chuckled nervously. She didn't want Naruto and Sasuke to know about her relationship with Kakashi. Naruto would get all big brother on her and Sasuke… well things were awkward with him after she broke it off with him about a year ago.

"Maybe? I don't know. I'm not the type to sleep with random people."

Sasuke snorted.
"Well that's not what the rumors say,"

Sakura raised a brow at that. Rumors? About her?"
"What rumors?" She asked

"Well, there's a rumor about you hanging around that one bar, where the older shinobi go. So people think you're into men older than you."

"Who said that?" Sakura asked, remembering the time Kakashi had got her to try and flirt with Itachi. Her face began to flush red as she sipped on her drink.

"No one in particular… though Itachi was asking about you not too long ago."

Sakura gulped, too nervous about that. She would rather Sasuke think she had the hots for her brother rather than knowing that she was having sex regularly with their sensei.

"Yeah… He asked a lot of questions, or more than what he normally would about a woman."

Sakura chuckled awkwardly, holding her drink in her hand pretty tightly.
"Well I don't know why he'd be wanting to know about me. I'm pretty under the radar–"

"Yeah, why would you be at a bar with older men? They smoke there and everything." Naruto asked.

"Maybe I wanted to look around. The bar we go to can be kind of blah, you know? Maybe I wanted some excitement in my life."

"You're not trying to scoop up people from my clan, are you?" Sasuke asked, going to make himself a drink. Sakura was surprised that he went to make himself a mixed drink, but she shrugged it off.

"No. I'm sorry, but I had a taste of you. I don't need any more Uchiha." Sakura chuckled, skipping making a drink to just drink straight vodka.
"Why ask about my love life, or lack thereof. Focus on your lack of love life instead of mine."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, sipping at his girly drink. Sakura stared at him, but Sasuke shrugged.

"I'd rather not taste my alcohol. Plus Ino gets the good stuff," He answered the question.

Sakura chuckled, letting the vodka burn in her throat.
"So, since you picked at my love life, does that mean I get to pick at yours?" She asked both of her teammates.

"You already know what's going on between me and Hinata."

"Oh yes, you two haven't slept together."

"And you, Sasuke. You haven't found anyone yet?"
Sasuke nodded his head. Sakura kicked back her vodka with a hiss. She knew she shouldn't drink more, but the questions were getting to her.

Sakura chuckled. She wanted nothing more than to be open about her relationship, but she knew exactly how her boys would react. Kakashi was like an older brother to the both of them. It would at least crush Naruto, Sasuke would simply be jealous.

"What if I was seeing someone?" Sakura asked, turning around to grab a cherry at the bar behind them. Naruto laughed, almost spitting out his beer.

"Sorry, Sakura, but that's impossible. You would at least tell us about it, so we know you're not," He said as if it was final. Sasuke stared at Sakura, one brow raised as he tried to figure her out.

"You are seeing someone." The black haired nin stated. Sakura twitched a little bit but she didn't let anything show.

Naruto looked at Sasuke, a little confused himself.
"How would you know?" He asked his best friend, wondering what was going through his mind. Sasuke shrugged.

"She's been much more confident. At first I couldn't place what it was, but it would make sense. That's why she says she's not looking for a quick lay tonight."

Sakura sighed as the wheels began turning in Naruto's head. He believed what Sasuke said.

"So… are we going to know who it is?" The blond asked, looking at Sakura with the hopes she would say something. As much as she wanted to tell them the truth, she felt that Sasuke would definitely look down on her. Naruto… she wouldn't know how he would react. He would be hurt because she didn't tell him, but she didn't really know how he would take the news.

"...you guys wouldn't know who they were anyway. So don't worry about it–"

"Someone I wouldn't know?" Naruto questioned once again. He was right, he basically knew everyone.
"Is he a shinobi at least?"

Sakura thought to herself for a moment. Technically Kakashi was but he didn't take any missions anymore.

"...he sort of retired after the fourth war–"

"So he's an old geezer then?"

That made Sakura snort. Thankfully she wasn't drinking anything.

"Yes, he is old and he's a geezer, but why don't we focus on something else? Like…. Can we find someone for Sasuke instead of me?" Sakura offered, thinking Naruto would stop with the questions. Naruto seemed to get excited.

"What about that dark girl? The one from the cloud who's been visiting?" He offered, thinking Sasuke would like her.

"No, she's with Chouji." Sakura said, turning around to pour herself more vodka. Her head was swimming and she was dizzy, but the questions had made her quite nervous. Apparently Sasuke knew as he grabbed the glass she had in her hand.

"I think you've had enough, Sakura." He said calmly, placing his drink down.

"I can hold my alcohol," She muttered sadly, trying to reach for the vodka, but the brunet grabbed the bottle and moved it out of her reach. He looked around, making sure no one else saw them. Once he noticed he was in the clear he let go of the bottle to grab Sakura by the wrist.

"I'll walk you home, I think you're done here." He stated in a factual tone. Sakura nodded her head, letting Sasuke take her home. Naruto sighed at that, grabbing her other hand.

"I'll come with you guys while Hinata is busy." He chuckled, both men leading the pinkette out of the Yamanaka compound. She was saying when Sasuke had let her lean against them while they walked.

"You think with you working under Tsunade, you really would be able to hold your liquor," Naruto joked. Sakura looked at him and stuck her tongue out. It was obvious she was really out of it. They walked quietly for a few more minutes until they heard footsteps come towards them. Naruto relaxed but Sasuke tensed up, both knowing who it was.

"Hey, Kaka-sensei!" Naruto basically yelled. Kakashi waved back but his eyes were on Sakura. The kage sighed.

"Too much to drink again?" He asked. Sasuke nodded, but didn't say anything, remembering their last conversation at the lake. Sakura smiled and waved at Kakashi who smiled behind his mask.

"She could never hold her liquor," Kakashi chuckled, looking towards the compound they just left.
"The party is still going on… how about I take her home and you guys go back?"

Sasuke was a little bit skeptical, but Naruto was a little bit more relieved.

"Are you sure?" The blond asked. When Kakashi nodded his head, Naruto let go of Sakura's hand.

"She'll be safe in your hands," Naruto smirked as Kakashi went over to help hold Sakura up. Sasuke simply looked at Kakashi and sighed.
"We'll leave her in your hands." He muttered.

"Just… make sure she's okay."

Kakashi answered with a 'hai', bringing her close to him by the waist. When the two men began to walk back to Ino's, Kakashi chuckled. Sakura looked up at Kakashi and smiled.

"I told you you should have come with us!" She exclaimed. Kakashi shushed her before bringing a finger to his chest, making them poof out of existence and into his own apartment. He walked Sakura over to his bed, laying her down as he took her heels off and put them at the end of the bed. Kakashi then pulled a blanket over the top of her. Sakura began to giggle, looking at her lover. He walked to the kitchen in the studio apartment to grab the aspirin and a bottled water. He placed it on the stand beside her.

"They think I'm dating some old guy. They are kind of right," She said, not hiding her smirk from him. Kakashi sat himself on his side of the bed, wrapping his arm around her waist as he pulled her close.

"Well, I am an old man. I have the gray to prove it." He chuckled along with her.

"I missed you…" she muttered, turning herself around to face him.

"You should have gone to the party." She muttered, slurring her words a little bit. Kakashi pulled his mask down only to lean over and kiss Sakura on the cheek.
'I know, but you guys don't need an old man hanging around. Besides, it looks like you, Naruto and Sasuke were having a good time. I'm glad they took it upon themselves to take care of you,"

Sakura looked Kakashi in the eyes and it clicked.

"You did go!" She laughed, bringing her head to his chest.

"Only at the end of it to make sure you were okay." He explained.
"But we'll talk about it later. Go to sleep, I'll be here when you wake up in the morning."

Sakura smiled, thanking Kakashi under her breath before closing her eyes for the night.
