Christen and Alexis strained to achieve their combo attack, as challenging as it was. They were supposed to occur instinctively when needed most! This is why the Senshi relished combat training so much! It was so entertaining and crucial. "This is hopeless!" Neo-Super Sailor Mars roared in exasperation. She and Alexis had failed yet another attempt at a combo attack! This time, it resulted in her getting drenched and Alexis being fine.
Neo-Super Sailor Neptune touched Mars's shoulder and offered her a sympathetic yet encouraging smile. The raven-haired girl plopped on the ground to pout for a few moments. Then, looking into Neptune's daughter's eyes, her smoldering gaze softened as she felt a connection! Gradually, she removed Alexis's hand and got up.
"Ready?" Neptune signed in ASL.
"Let's try this again." Mars nodded. However, her tone unquestionably indicated she did NOT want to try this again! Hard work was not Christen's thing. Regardless, she did work hard in a fight. Her willingness shined like gold!
"Flaming Bermuda Triangle!" Both Senshi laughed at the name, but it fit. A triangle of seawater whipped around them with flames spiraling around it!
"WOW!" Neptune gazed at the spectacle she helped create. Sometimes hard to impress, Mars breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. In her opinion, it is more powerful than needed, but an accomplishment was made! Walking back inside, Holly walked up to them.
"So, how did it go?" Uranus's daughter could tell from the smiles on the girl's faces that training was a success!
"You should have seen what we came up with, Holly! I can't wait to show you! It is so cool!" Alexis squealed in excitement.
"Sounds interesting. I can't wait to see it. Hopefully, you can show me tonight." Holly smiled
"Tonight?" Alexis did not know why tonight specifically.
"You and Christen are rooming with me tonight." Holly grinned as she wrote the message for Christen, as Alexis's handwriting was appalling.
Alexis was gifted at music, and her art is decent, too. Nonetheless, her penmanship could use some serious work. Christen was not thrilled about this, as she had to help Ariel with almost everything in the morning. Graciously, Comet offered to assist Ariel in Christen's place. So, Christen nodded, knowing she would be up all night hiding, as would Alexis, waiting for one of the Four Monkeys. Alexis pretended to be asleep in bed but kept her ears open for any sounds as Christen cuddled up in the closet. The next thing Alexis knew, she had fallen asleep but was awoken by something.
Turning over to look at Holly, she almost gasped but held it back as she saw one of the monkeys sitting on her sister's chest. Inspecting it closer revealed it to be the same one who had attacked Ariel!
"NO!" Alexis cried, waking up Holly and startling the animal, causing it topple to the ground!
Christen sprung out too, and they battered the creature with "Flaming Bermuda Triangle!" As the monkey escaped, Christen and Rose chased while Alexis roused the others. Half-asleep but wanting their senses back, the girls (minus Ariel) transformed. They could see Neo-Super Sailor Mars and Rose in the distance. At one point, the soaked and toasted fur trail ended. So the Moon Kittens started sniffing where the monkey had gone. However, even that eventually ended...in the middle of nowhere!
"It must be traveling to a different plane to return to Roshi." Neo-Super Sailor Pluto deduced.
"How are we going to do that?!" Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon groaned.
"Can't you use Moon Gorgeous Meditation like when you burst out of the Black Dream Hole?" Neo-Super Sailor Neptune questioned.
"I can only use that with Pegasus's help." Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon explained, slightly annoyed.
"Wait. So, the only attacks you can do are Pink Sugar Heart Attack, Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon Kick, Supersonic Waves, and Eternal Tiare?" Sailor Nova questioned incredulously.
"Yeah?" Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon did not see the point.
"Only four attacks..." Sailor Eclipse muttered.
"Well, how many do you all have?!" Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon snapped.
"Crystal and I both have several. Trisha has five, and Christen has four. So she really shouldn't have too many. Ariel and Emily have three. We can agree they don't need much more. Finally, Holly and Alexis have two." Neo-Super Sailor Venus knew those who had fewer attacks had more destructive blows.
"Ivy and Shadow have nine, Star has eight, Dawn has ten, and I have five." Sailor Universe knew this would not please Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon.
"So, I don't have that many powerful attacks! So what?!" Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon stormed off.
"I'll go talk to her..." Sailor Universe knew how Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon felt about not being as strong as her friends when she was little. However, she had thought the girl had gotten over it. The answer was that she still felt the childhood sting of not being as powerful as her mother.
As Sailor Universe talked her sister through her feelings, Pluto, Mercury, and Saturn devised something they could try.
"Girls, I don't feel so good~" Slowly, Neo-Super Sailor Uranus de-transformed and began to collapse as she could not move!
"HOLLY!" Neo-Super Sailor Neptune bellowed in tears.
Everyone rushed to carry Holly home, including Neo-Eternal Sailor Moon and Sailor Universe. When the sun rose, Holly needed a wheelchair! Alexis could not take it! She had done everything she could and still failed to protect her older sister!
