Before everyone knew it they were on the boat, speeding for the island. The boat wasn't small by any means, but with thier large numbers, it sure felt that way.

"Personally, I dig this cramped-ness. It makes it feel like we're all in some large group hug." Donut says.

"Thats gay." Grif complains.

'Why did I come along?!' Arakawa nervously thought to herself.

"Well we all won't have to worry for much longer." Carolina calls out. "The island is not much farther away."

"We should move into some kind of stealth position." Sarge says.

"What? How are we gonna be stealthy with a boat?" Tucker questions.

"A colourful boat." Caboose adds.

"Yeah. To the people on the island, we probably look like a small bowl of large Skittles floating toward them." Tucker continues.

"Dude, don't get me thinking of Skittles when I can't have any right now." Grif moans.

"I gotta agree. If we wanted stealth, why didn't we go at night?" Simmons questions.

"Going at night would be suicidal. The waves are harsher and everything's pitch black when you're on the water." Yuka informs them.

"We won't need stealth. Hopefully, they'll be arrogant enough to not have any perimeter guards seeing as this is an island." Washington says.

"That hasn't stopped us from coming here before." Grif points out.

"I also think I hear something." Nana says. The crew looks up to see something launched from the island, hurling toward them.

"Grenade!" Carolina yells.

"Abandon ship!" Washington yells.

"But jumping into the ocean this far out could be dangero-" Yuka is interrupted by Sarge shoving her into the water.

"You can thank me later." Sarge says before jumping in himself. Everyone scatters off the boat, some just making it off as the grenade hits and explodes.

Two perimeter guards watch the boat erupt in flames.

"Hey?" One asks.

"Yeah?" The other responds.

"You wonder... if that grenade got em?" The first questions.

"I think I saw them all jump off." Second says.

"Then do you think they'd be able to swim with that strange armour?" The first asks.

"I don't fuckin care, man. If they surface, I'll just shoot them." The second responds.

"You're no fun." The first huffs.

"I didn't join up to ask dumb ass questions. I joined because what other job lets you shoot people for free?" The second responded. Just then, he's shot in the face from a battle rifle peaking out from the water. The rifle rises, revealing Carolina as the wielder. Following her is Wash, Sarge, Grif, and Simmons.

The remaining perimiter guard notice the survivors and ready their defenses.

"You know what they say, boys!" Sarge shouts over to them. "Today is a good day to die!"

"Take then out!" Washington exclaims.

Kaede, Aiko, Doc, and Tucker surface nearer to one of the cliffs holding up the facility.

"Woah, that was close. But to be honest, I was expectibg much worse." Doc says.

"What about the others?" Kaede asks no one in particular.

"I'm pretty sure they all jumped ship before the grenade exploded. I'm sure we'll run into them eventually." Tucker assures her.

"We should find someway to get out of this water." Aiko says. "Yuka is right about the ocean being dangerous this far out."

"Hey guys!" Doc gets their attention. "Maybe we can use this!" He points to a ladder seemingly leading toward a maintenance entrance.

"Well, we're going in there anyway." Tucker says as he makes his way to the ladder, Kaede and Aiko following him.

They climb up the ladder and make their way into the maintenance entrance. The light content in there was low, so Tucker and Doc activated their helmet lights.

"Heh, it's a good thing we keep these things charged." Doc says.

"Quite. You'll give away our position." Tucker shushes him.

"Oo, Sorry." Doc whispers as the group make their way inside.

Meanwhile; Kouta, Yuka, Caboose and Arakawa wash up on another part of the beach away from Wash's group.

"Uuuhhhh, what happened?" Yuka moans.

"You don't remember? You were playing with a grenade in the ocean and it went off." Caboose tells her. "Don't worry. I saved you."

"Uh, no it wasn't Yuka." Kouta recovers and joins them.

"Why did we even come?" Yuka questions. "I get giving and our support and all, but what did we seriously think we could do?"

"I've been wondering that since we got on the boat." Arakawa joins them. "Now all that salt waters gonna make us feel itchy. We better get a shower soon."

"I hear you." Yuka agrees.

"Come on Koota, Youka, and scientist lady! We need to find Church and the others!" And with that, Caboose takes off.

"Caboose, don't go too far ahead!" Kouta runs after him.

"We can trust him to get us through this, right?" Arakawa asks Yuka. "He's a soldier after all?"

"Soldier? Him?" Yuka asks. "Child is a more accurate description." Yuka says before chasing after her cousin and the idiot.

"Oh, what did I get myself into?" Arakawa asks herself before she runs after the three.

As the four make their way further inland, they hear gun fire not to far off from them.

"Thats probably our guys." Yuka says. "We shouldn't go charging in there until they've finished up."

"Yes!" Caboose agrees. "Which reminds me, I should probably use the bath room. Church hates it when I have to go in the middle of a big battle." He then wanders into the entrance of the Institutes main building without any consent from his companions.

"Wha...! No! I just said not to run off!" Yuka yells to him.

"I don't think the institute will see us slipping in the main entrance while there is still a big fight going on." Arakawa informs them. "We should be safe in there... well safer." Arakawa and Yuka reluctantly follow the blue soldier. Kouta is gobsmacked.

"Are we all just going to ignore that Caboose brought us to the main entrance and we never noticed until he actually walked inside?" he questions.

Elsewhere; Donut, Lopez, Mayu, and Nana had recovered on another part of the island.

"Ugh, lets never do that again." Mayu complains.

"It was pretty unfortunate that I was the only one in our little group who knew how to swim." Donut admits.

"Cuando digo que soy Lòpez el pesado, quiero decir eso literalmente." Lopez responds.

"I had never been in so much water before. I didn't even know there could be this much in the world." Nana says.

"Estàs REALMENTE protegido." Lopez remarks.

"I... um... have no excuse." Mayu sighs.

"Just something we should do later. Luckily I can provide swimming lessons." Donut says.

"You'll teach us how to swim! Thank you!" Nana happily exclaims.

"Shouldn't we find the others right now?" Mayu questions.

"Right! And theres that evil organization we have to take down. Luckily, double O Donut is on the job!" Donut then throws a grenade into a nearby window in the complex which just so happens to be the interior guards breakroom.

"What the hell?!" The group can hear one of them scream before the grenade explodes and blows a hole in the side of the building which the group uses to enter it.

"We also have to find papa while we're here!" Nana tells them.

"Don't worry yoing lady! I'll help you rescue your papa!" Donut.assures in his spy voice.

"Voy a odiar esto." Lopez sighs as he follows the three.

Meanwhile, Kakuzawa sees this, as well as the assualt on the beach head on the security cameras.

"How are we letting this happen?!" He demanded.

"Their forces are overwhelming. They have armour which our weapons cannot pierece as well as haveing taken us by surprise." Kurama informs him.

"Then get something that can kill those soldiers!" He all but screams to Kurama. He then turns to Shirakawa. "Prep number 35 for deployment."

Both Kurama and Shirakawa looked shocked at this.

"Sir." Kurama starts.

"No, Kurama. We will use number 35. Consider this punishment for allowing number 7 to escape." Kakuzawa retorts.

"Sir, even if we could get number 35 to cooperate, we wouldn't have enough time to do so." Shirakawa tells him.

"The threat of the bomb will be enough. Get on it NOW Shirakawa." Kauzawa demands.

"Y-Yes sir." Shirakawa aquisites and leaves for the high security holding chambers.

"We should have sent EVERYTHING we had at the queen when we had the chance, consequences be damned." Kauzawa says.

"Perhaps you are right." Kurama admits.

"If Lucy somehow escapes this, we shall not make the same error again."

"Understood, sir." Kurama turns to leave.

"Kurama!" Kauzawa demands. "Kill everyone standing against me but the queen."

"Even after all this, you still believe we should capture her?!" Kurama questions.

"Yes. You don't have to guarantee all of her will make the trip, so long as her head and torsoe are undamaged and she is alive." Kauzawa tells him.

"Very well sir." Kurama reluctantly complies. "Hopefully, this will be the end to it all."
