Chapter 2
Rise of Heroes

(St. Roch, Louisiana, United States, two weeks ago)

The Shield Expedition was making little to no progress.

David Shield, a brilliant scientist and amateur archeologist had come to the US to solve an ancient mystery.

Actually it wasn't that ancient. But since the emergence of Quirks in the world, this part of the world had been largely undisturbed.

The ruins they had been excavating were once a stately mansion belonging to a man named Carter Hall. But after various natural disasters such as hurricanes and flooding, not to mention a vicious war of Quirks more than a century ago, there was nothing but ruins and rubble as far as the eye could see.

His daughter, Melissa Shield, had accompanied him on his expedition, and was wandering around the ruined mansion.

"Be careful, Melissa! You never know what might be under your feet." David said as he examined what looked like a stone door, but seemed more like a mosaic on a wall.

"I know, daddy, but there isn't any... AH!" Melissa suddenly shrieked as the ground underneath her feet suddenly caved in, and she fell into a deep hole.

"MELISSA? MELISSA!" David shouted as he raced over to the hole. "Melissa! Are You There?"

"I... I'm fine, daddy!" she coughed, dusting herself off as she stood up, making sure nothing was broken or bleeding.

"What happened? Are you alright?" he shouted.

"I think so." she said as she pulled out a small flashlight and looked around.

"Markus! Get A Rope!" David shouted to one of the other members of the dig.

Melissa looked around to see that she was inside a small chamber, and saw tiny glints of metal going down a tunnel.

Not seeing anything dangerous she continued down the tunnel. Within minutes she came to a large and empty chamber that seemed to glitter like gold.

She saw an altar that held two objects on it.

One of the objects looked like a golden helmet in a shape and style she didn't recognize. Plus it didn't appear to have any eye holes. The other object was some kind of golden chest armor, like those worn by Roman gladiators. The strange thing was that it had the symbol of a hawks head on it. The head was black, over a red circle, in the center of the golden chest armor.

"What... are these?" Melissa asked to no one in particular.

A hand touched her shoulder, causing her to freak out.

"AHHH!" she shrieked.

"Melissa! Sorry! Sorry!" David said, backing up from his daughter.

"DADDY! Don't Scare Me Like That!" she shrieked in annoyance.

David Shield had arrived, and just gasped at what he saw before him.

"My, God! Melissa! You Found It!" he said.

"Found it? Accidentally, you mean." the blond girl huffed.

"The secret headquarters of the Justice Society!" David said.

Melissa and her father started to move towards the alter with the two artifacts on it.

"But I thought you said the Justice Society was a myth!" Melissa said.

"I never said myth!" David defended himself. "I said that no one has been able to prove that they actually existed. It's been over 200 years since the dawn of Quirks, and since then all other traces of any actual heroes before that time had been... overshadowed."

"So there were heroes before Quirks. I wonder what happened to them all?" she asked. "And all this stuff on the walls? Is that gold?"

"No. Much more valuable. It's Nth metal." he said with a smile.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Musutafu, Japan, present day)

It was a short walk home to Izuku's apartment he lived in with his mother. Easy since they had been literally standing on the roof of their building.

When Inko saw her son she was relieved, though the sight of the skinny blond-haired man was a bit of a shock.

"Izuku... what's going on?" Inko asked. "Who is this?"

"Uh... I don't know where to start." Izuku said.

"Mrs, Midoriya... my name is Toshinori Yagi. And to put it simply... your son has inherited the power of the gods."

Inko looked shocked at hearing that.

"Eh!" she gasped. "Power of the Gods? What gods?"

"The Egyptian Gods."

"Huh?"

Toshinori then explained the history of Black Adam and the power of the Egyptian Gods that he was given by his son, Hurut. Hurut was actually given the powers by the Council of Wizards to be the champion of the people against the tyrant King Ahk-Not.

Izuku also found out what the letters in the word he said meant.

S for the stamina of Shu - Using Shu's virtually unlimited stamina, Izuku can withstand and survive most types of extreme physical assaults. Additionally, he does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe and can survive unaided in space. His godly metabolism provides him with far greater than human potency in all physical activities. Sustained by the magical energies coursing through his body, Izuku is functionally immortal.

H for the swiftness of Horus - By channeling Horus's supernatural speed, Izuku can move at fantastic speeds faster than the human eye can comprehend. While his true speed has never been clocked, he can fly faster than super-sonic. There are currently no other heroes faster than him.

A for the strength of Amon - Izuku has a phenomenal level of super strength, able to easily bend steel, punch through walls, produce powerful shockwaves by clapping his hands, and lift massive objects.

Z for the wisdom of Zehuti - Izuku now has instant access to a vast level of scholarly knowledge, which allows him to know multiple languages. The wisdom of Zehuti also provides him with counsel and advice in times of need.

A for the power of Aten - Aten's power allows Izuku to fly, fuels the magic lightning bolt that transforms him, further enhances his superhuman physical abilities, and provides magical resistance against a massive amount of magic spells and attacks. Izuku can use the lightning bolt as a weapon by dodging it and allowing it to strike an opponent or target. It allows him to travel to the Rock of Eternity, thus allowing interdimensional and even time travel.

M for the courage of Mehen - This aspect is primarily psychological and spiritual. Mehen's courage endows Izuku with superhuman amounts of inner strength, willpower, discipline and resolve from which to draw upon in times of hopelessness, and possibly great fighting skills. He is constantly supported by a harmonious presence of good will and unflinching courage that he never backs down from a challenge or feels any debilitating amount of fear or despair, even in the face of the most intimidating of opponents. His strength of mind renders him resistant to telepathy and mind control. In some depictions, the courage of Mehen also provides a degree of his physical invulnerability to harm.

Izuku hadn't known exactly what powers he would be getting. Naturally he thought he would need to experiment and train with them before he could use them to be a hero.

It was nice to know beforehand what he was capable of.

Inko was naturally shocked by all this, and in complete disbelief.

Her son who had been quirkless his entire life, had suddenly been given powers that were beyond anything anyone could imagine. Multiple powers at that. Given, on a silver platter.

Toshinori had agreed to train Izuku so that he would be ready for the U.A. Entrance Exam.

However, he suggested that Izuku stay in his powered-up form so as to keep himself safe from harm, but also to keep these powers as much a secret as possible. Izuku got the notion that some people would attack him for various reasons.

Especially since he knew that his powers could be transferred.

That one thought brought a great deal of dread to Izuku's brain, when he realized he could give his powers to anyone. Good or bad. It would be his choice and his alone.

The possibility of some evil criminal getting these powers was a horrible thought. More so at what they might do with them.

Izuku was given a specific training regime by Toshinori. He would train in his human form but live his life in his super form to avoid any trouble.

Since Black Adam had snatched him away in front of so many people, it might be eventually revealed that he had been given incredible god-like powers, Toshinori thought it would be a good idea to keep himself protected at all times.

In order to prevent this, Inko and Toshinori took Izuku out of school and decided to give him on-line private tutoring.

With Nezu's help, he was able to pull it off without derailing his education.

Bakugo and the others knew something was up when Izuku didn't return to school, but the issue was dropped quickly as unimportant. However, Bakugo couldn't help but wonder what was up. In the back of his mind he was concerned and he didn't know why.

Toshinori eventually explained that because of All Might's new teaching position at U.A. the following school year, he had access to some necessary resources of education, such as the on-line programs.

What's more, is that after it was discovered that Izuku's current school, Aldera Junior High, had been getting away with some rather 'unethical' teaching practices, a full investigation was launched. Within a month the school had been shut down.

Bakugo and the others were transferred to a new Junior High to finish out the year. Even more was that they all found out that the new school they were assigned to was much stricter than Aldera had been. Which meant no using their quirks on school grounds at all and for any reason.

Bakugo's attitude quickly landed him in detention, something his mother berated and scolded him for.

With his 'hero career' on the line, Bakugo was forced to tow the line so as not to ruin his chances at getting into U.A. and becoming a future Pro-Hero.

For some reason he wanted to blame 'Deku' for this, but couldn't think of why he should. He hadn't seen the green-haired boy since his departure from the Tatooin shopping center.

Izuku's training regime over those ten months quickly showed promising results. Izuku's body became stronger and more athletic than it had previously.

Inko had done everything she could to support her son's dream of being a hero, now that he had power to protect himself.

What's more, is that Izuku's new power had a variety of special aspects to it.

One of which was its unique healing attributes.

Izuku had discovered this when he fully got into the backstory of Teth-Adam and his son Hurut.

After learning that Teth-Adam had been mortally wounded by King Ahk-Not's assassins, Hurut used his powers to save his fathers life, by transferring them to his dying father. The powers saved the mans life, yet it left him vulnerable to being killed himself.

The magic lightning that Izuku now possessed, also had healing properties, which Izuku thought was amazing and versatile in of itself.

All Might had also told Izuku that Black Adam had used his magic healing powers to help the Number 1 Pro-hero when he had learned about his 'ailment'.

While All Might was able to still do his hero work, and was studying to be a teacher, he still had to find a worthy successor for One For All.

He had considered Izuku at first, but Black Adam quickly stole the boy right from underneath his nose.

Izuku actually felt honored and flattered at hearing that.

It was after this that All Might told Izuku everything about the fight he had had more than five years ago that had started to cripple him.

He told him about All For One and the history he shared with him.

He told Izuku about his predecessor, Nana Shimura, and the other heroes who had shared One For All. And how this terrible history went all the way back to the dawning of Quirks.

What's more, he told Izuku about his meeting, fighting against and fighting alongside Black Adam.

Izuku was a little shocked to learn that Black Adam had kept out of the public eye for years, despite his powers, not wanting to be a hero but a protector to his country of Kahndaq.

All For One had apparently learned of Black Adam's existence, and awed by his power he constantly tried to get these powers for himself.

But since his powers were not 'quirks' like many others, there was no way he could simply take them like he had from other people.

Even All Mights power, One For All, could not simply be taken by the arch-villain.

Izuku was even more impressed that All Might and Black Adam had teamed up together in order to stop and destroy All For One, which only meant that he was certain the villain was long dead.

All Might was at the top of his game when he came to Kahndaq.

All For One had been there, trying to take Black Adam's powers, but to no avail.

He had tricked Black Adam into believing that All Might worked with/for him, which lead to the pair fighting it out on the streets of Kahndaq.

When the truth was revealed, both of them worked together in order to defeat All For One.

But barely.

It was during this fight that All For One had managed to strike All Might with a deadly parasite that was slowly killing him, and because both he and Black Adam had been fighting each other they were not at their full strength, which enabled AFO to land a deadly blow to both, though All Might had gotten the worst of it.

All For One disappeared shortly after that.

Since then there had been a tense truce of sorts, but also of respect between the two heroes.

Naturally Izuku was worried that Kahndaq would be in trouble without it's primary protector, but All Might assured him that Kahndaq had built up it's strength and power since those days, and had their own group of quirked heroes that Black Adam oversaw before he left.

It did make Izuku wonder why Black Adam had come to Japan of all places to find a successor, and not in his native country.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

All Might's personal training regime was hard, but Izuku was the better for it.

Dagobah Beach, which was a landfill for decades, had been cleaned up by the young godly hero within a day. This was mostly a challenge by All Might to see just what Izuku could do with his new powers.

Cleaning up the hundreds of tons of trash IN A DAY involved more than just lifting and toting trash from the beach to the official waste disposal center.

It also involved being meticulous and attentive to all the smaller bits of trash on the beach. Like the little pieces of metal that were hidden under the sand.

When Izuku returned the very next day, there were already people walking around it, thanks to a local news crew that had done a story on it.

No Pro-Heroes had taken responsibility, so how had they known?

Izuku later found out that All Might had placed an anonymous call to the news station right after Izuku had finished cleaning it up.

The rest of Izuku's training involved hard work and a strict adherence to diet and sleep. And since he was being schooled on-line, he had more time for 'hero' training.

(U.A. High School)

It was time for the entrance exam, and Izuku Midoriya, a seemingly normal every day hopeful future hero walked into the halls of the most prestigious hero school in the country, if not the world.

There were many people there, many of which were aspiring to get in and be future Pros themselves.

This included one Katsuki Bakugo.

"Out of the way, damned Deku!" the blond-haired Pomeranian snarled at the green-haired boy.

"Hello, Katsuki." Izuku said cordially.

Yes, he wasn't calling his childhood frenemy by 'Kacchan' anymore.

"What is your quirkless ass even doing here?" Katsuki barked.

"Quirkless, yes. Doesn't mean I'm powerless." Izuku said with a smile.

It would irritate Bakugo even more if he found out Izuku had been offered Recommendation into U.A., yet he chose to participate in the Entrance Exam of his own accord.

A further irritation to know just what powers he now possessed.

Katsuki walked on, leaving Izuku some time to just let his former childhood friend get ahead of him. Better to let him get some distance.

He then started out towards the large building, only to trip over a loose stone on the walkway. But before he could catch himself, he froze in mid-air. He turned his head and looked to see a cute girl with short brown hair standing next to him, her hand outstretched to touch his shoulder.

"Hey, you alright? Sorry for not asking you for permission, but I thought it would be bad luck if you tripped on your first day." the girl smile sweetly as she lifted him up and set him on his feet.

"Oh. Thank you. I... hope I can repay for your kindness." Izuku said with a small blush on his cheeks.

The girl giggled and then proceeded into the building. Izuku followed suit.

(Testing Site B, U.A.)

Izuku was standing outside the large gate leading to one of the city test sites that U.A. had set up for them to practice in.

The written portion of the test had been fairly easy. Izuku was a studious person, so passing that was not an issue for him.

Now came the Practical Portion of the Entrance Exam.

Everyone who had been on the busses was amazed at the scope of all this. An entire city, created for their final test of the Entrance Exam.

Izuku looked around at the other applicants. He saw a couple people from the opening ceremony in which Present Mic, the Voice Hero, had presided over.

He then saw this one girl with short brown hair looking rather nervous. He was about to go over to her when a hand landed on his shoulder.

"You weren't thinking of going over to that other applicant and distracting her from the test, were you?" the tall boy with glasses asked. "This is an important moment for all of us! We are here to compete for a spot in the U.A. Hero Course, and attempting to sabotage other applicants it highly inappropriate!"

Izuku looked at the tall boy rather incredulously.

"Actually, she looked nervous so I was hoping to give her a few words of encouragement before we began. I mean, that is the right thing to do, isn't it?" he asked the taller boy.

"Uh...well, yes, but this is a competition! All of us are trying to get into U.A. and they only accept the best of the best." the tall boy said.

"And helping your future classmates isn't what a hero would do? I wonder what Ingenium would say about his younger brother not trying to help out other people?" Izuku said.

The boy was thrown for a loop at hearing that.

"How... how did you know Ingenium is my older brother?" he asked.

"You have a similar quirk to the Speed Hero, even though he has his Engines in his arms, and you're too old to be his son, so... younger brother would be my best guess." Izuku said as he pointed to the taller boys legs.

The boy looked down and saw that his legs were exposed, revealing a pair of engines in his calves. He looked up at the green-haired boy, impressed that he had deduced his connection so easily.

"How did you...?"

"Quirk analysis is my hobby. I've studied the quirks of every hero and villain I can, so that I can be the best future hero I can be."

"I see. And... what is your quirk, if I may ask?"

"Magic."

"Magic?"

However, before Izuku could elaborate any future, a loud screeching sound got everyones attention.

"READY! SET! GO!" Present Mic shouted over the loudspeakers.

The doors opened to the large city, but no one moved.

"LET'S GO, PEOPLE! THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL LIFE! GO, GO, GO!"

"SHAZAM!"

BOOM!

The tall boy with the glasses looked on in shock at where the green-haired boy once stood, only seeing a cloud of smoke... and no boy standing there.

He looked back towards the open gate leading into the city and saw...something... flying through the fake city.

"Urk! I Need To Go!" he suddenly said before rushing off!

(Teachers Monitoring Room)

"Looks like a good crop of applicants this year." a female teacher said as she looked at the monitors.

"Some of them are using a variety of methods to take down those robots." a large cement-like being said.

"Mobility Experts." one teacher said, seeing Tenya Iida kicking a robot down. "Covering a lot of ground easily and quick take downs are good methods."

"Others are more Intelligence Gatherers. Those who can assess the situation in an instant." a cowboy-dressed man said as he noticed a tall boy with six arms using his body like a radar dish.

"Decision Makers. Those who can cope with any given situation." another teacher said, indicating a blond-haired boy who was shooting a laser from his belly to destroy another robot.

"While some just seem to be rushing in and blasting the bots with their quirk." another teacher said, indicating a blond spiky-haired boy who was blasting every bot in his vicinity while wearing a sadistic looking grin on his face. "Natural born warriors."

"Some might call them battle maniacs."

All Might, in his persona of Toshinori Yagi, was staring at the monitors, while also keeping an eye on one particular applicant.

He noticed a green blur that seemed to be shooting lightning bolts out of his hands taking down multiple robots and then moving on.

"True. But the true test of a hero... depends on how they handle the pressure, facing an overwhelming adversary and crisis! That's when their true colors show brightly!" a small, rodent-like person said as he pressed a large red button on the console before him.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Izuku flew through the air, using his speed to locate as many robots as possible, and then using his lightning and strength to take down as many robots as possible.

He was halfway through the test and by his count had scored at least 60 points.

He figured that was enough to get into the Hero Course. He had only paused to give the other applicants a chance to take down their own robots and get some points. While the tall boy was right, that this was a competition, that didn't mean Izuku had to be greedy.

However, it was the pause that enabled Izuku to think about all this.

Something wasn't adding up.

Just busting up a bunch of robots didn't really seem like a true test of a hero.

Was there something else going on here?

He saw several people fighting various robots all over the fake city. They seemed to be doing very well. Still, his wisdom was poking at him that this wasn't the end of it all.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded as a loud rumbling caught his attention. A cloud of dust kicked up as something large and mechanical emerged into the battle field.

"What is that?" Izuku gasped as he flew towards the cloud.

He paused in mid-air as he gasped at the sight. A gigantic robot the size of a building was heading towards the applicants.

"That must be the Zero-Pointer!" he gasped as he flew towards it. "It'll crush everyone in it's path! I've got to make sure they're clear!"

Izuku hovered over the throes of running and screaming students who were scrambling to get away from the massive robot. They were so panicked they didn't see him hovering over them.

"Everyone seems to have gotten away, but..."

"Help! Help!"

Izuku froze and looked to see the very girl whom he had met at the entry way leading into U.A. had her legs pinned by a mass of debris while the Zero-Pointer advanced towards her.

"No!" he gasped as he quickly rushed towards the girl.

On the ground, Ochaco Uraraka was pinned. Her legs all but crushed by the falling rock and steel caused by the massive robot that continued to advance toward her.

She gasped when she saw the massive tank-treads rumbling towards her.

WHAM!

"Huh?"

She gasped when she looked back and saw a man, tall and athletic wearing a green bodysuit with a white cape flapping behind him. She couldn't see his face, as he was facing towards the massive robot, his hands holding up the massive treads and literally stopping it from moving. But what caught her attention the most was his green hair. That seemed familiar to her.

"That man... he's... holding up... the robot? That's... Impossible!" she gasped.

Yet, there it was, right in front of her own eyes.

Izuku grunted as he pushed back against the massive robot that was only a few feet from crushing the teenage girl.

His muscles seemed to burn as he put all his effort into the endeavor, and with a truly Herculean effort, pushed up and literally dropped the massive robot onto it's back.

KA-BOOM!

The earth shook as the Zero-Pointer was toppled and crashed hard onto it's back, kicking up dust and smake as it did.

The sound of the crash was deafening. No one could see anything due to the dust.

Seconds later, Ochaco heard what sounded like thunder, right before she felt herself being lifted up and carried out of the smoke and dust by a pair of strong arms.

As soon as she could see again, she gasped when she saw the green-haired boy from earlier that day carrying her out like a princess in some fairy tale story.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Uh... yes!" she said with a blush as she stared into his green eyes. "I... I think my leg is... hurt."

"Don't worry. I'll get you to the doctors."

"Oy! Sonny! Over here!" a voice suddenly called out.

The pair looked over and saw an elderly woman with a cane, that looked like a large syringe needle, walking over to them.

Izuku carried the girl over and set her down. Ochaco's leg hurt so she was forced to lean against Izuku.

"Hmm. Looks broken. Just a second. SMOOCH!" the old woman said as she kissed the girls leg.

Within seconds, Ochaco's leg was healed, though she did feel a little tired now.

"There you go. Just like new. How about you, sonny? You hurt at all?" the woman asked Izuku.

"No. I'm alright. Thank you, Recovery Girl." Izuku said with a bow.

"Oh, you know who I am?"

"Oh, course. The Youthful Heroine with a powerful healing quirk. You're the reason U.A. can hold these dangerous exams every year." he said.

"Yes. Which are getting a bit more dangerous every year. Now... Anyone Else Hurt?" the old woman asked as she went around to check on the other applicants.

While Izuku watched her go, Ochaco was looking around in a panic.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

"I... you didn't happen to see a guy in a green suit and a white cape anywhere, did you?" she asked.

"Uh, why?"

"Well... I think he saved me. But... he's gone."

"Yeah. Weird. But don't worry. I'm sure he's around."

"I wanted to thank him. He saved my life."

"Don't worry. He probably knows." Izuku said as he walked off.

Ochaco looked at the departing young man, a blush on her face.

'Green hair! Like the guy who saved me! Is he... the guy? But... why wouldn't he say so?' She wondered as she watched him go. She then balked and gushed when she realized she hadn't gotten the name of the green-haired boy who had carried her out of that smoke and rubble.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It was a week later.

Izuku had finally gotten his U.A. Letter which contained a holographic disk inside it. He was naturally anxious to know what he had gotten. And if he had gotten in.

"Okay. Here we go." Izuku said as he pressed the button on the top of the device.

"BOOM! I Am Here As A Projection!"

"All Might!" Izuku gasped.

"Sorry we haven't seen each other for the last week, but with great power comes a great amount of paper work! You see, Young Midoriya, you're looking at the newest teacher at U.A., starting this year!" All Might said. He paused when someone off-screen started talking to him. "Huh? What? Hurry it up? I've go to do HOW MANY Of THESE? (Sigh/Groan!) Okay, okay, okay! Young Midoriya! I am pleased to announce that you have gotten a very high mark on the Written Portion of your Entrance Exam. More than enough to pass. Now, as for the Practical Portion of your Exam. You managed to get a staggering 60 Villain points for defeating so many robots. However... there was another part of the Exam that was not specifically stated! Roll Clip!"

Izuku then watched as the image of the gigantic Zero-Pointer Robot was about to crush that same brown-haired girl who he had managed to save.

The images showed Izuku pushing against and toppling the massive robot with ease, saving the girl. It then showed him carrying the girl out of the cloud of dust and debris.

"U.A. has been informed of your special status, and because of your efforts on the battlefield... you have been awarded... Rescue Points!"

Izuku just watched as a large screen with multiple names appeared, with his name at the top of the list. What's more, he had 60 Villain points, and 60 Rescue points, for a combined total of 120! He also noticed that he was on the Number 1 position on the board... right above one Katsuki Bakugo, who had only scored 77 Villain points and no Rescue points.

That... didn't surprise Izuku.

"It has been said that Power makes things easy. But using that power, directing it's effort, takes both heart and mind, and you have demonstrated all of this. So, welcome... to your Hero Academia!"

Izuku smiled. He was in! He was going to go to U.A. and be a hero!

His dream was going to happen. And all thanks to the power that Teth-Adam had given to him.

'Thank you, Teth-Adam. Wherever you are.' he thought with a smile.

(Secret Location)

"What do you mean you can't find him?" the angry voice of All For One shouted.

"I mean... we can't find him." one of his underlings said.

"Idiots! Lazy fools! Get out there and find him!" he shouted.

The men left the room in a hurry, as All For One turned to the other men in the room.

"What about the crown?" he asked.

"We are still searching." another man replied.

"If the legends of this Crown are true, it might not exist anymore." another man named Giran said.

"I believe we have an alternative prize, though." a third man said.

"What prize?" a young and irritable young man named Tomura asked.

The man presented the men with a box filled with glowing blue crystals.

"Eternium!" All For One gasped.

"Yes. Enough to forge your own crown." the man said.

"And where did you get these crystals?" Giran asked.

"Only one place. Kahndaq." the third man said.

"Excellent!" All For One said.

"How much?" Tomura asked.

"For all these crystals? Ten million." the man said.

"What? That's highway robbery!" Tomura shrieked.

"Done." All For One said.

"WHAT?! SENSEI!" Tomura shouted.

"It is done! Pay the man! In cash!"

Kurogiri said nothing as he paid the man. The man thanked All For One and left, cash in hand.

"You should have let me dust him!" Tomura grumbled.

"And give up a potentially valuable asset? If he was able to obtain these crystals... he could have access to more." All For One said.

"Fine. But the second his usefulness runs out..."

"Tomura, Tomura, Tomura. You must learn not to be so hasty in your desire to kill others."

"Whatever, sensei. So what is the point of these things?" Tomura asked as he stared at the blue crystals.

All For One cackled lightly.

"It is quite simple. If I cannot have Black Adam's power... I will have the power of Sabbac!"

Yes, All For One was alive. His confrontation with All Might and Black Adam had all but destroyed him and he barely managed to survive. Had he not tricked those two into fighting each other, they would have decimated and completely annihilated him with their combined might.

Oh, All For One had no illusions or delusions about that. All Might alone could have ended him, but All Might AND Black Adam working together? No, he wouldn't have stood a snowflake's chance in Hell at that.

He had barely survived, and now was plotting his revenge.

He would create an army or Nomu's to destroy All Might and Hero Society. But he would also have a trump card up his sleeve.

The Crown of Sabbac, which would enable him to become the champion of the Six Demons of the Rock of Finality. And if he couldn't get the crown itself, he would forge his own crown.
