Hello everyone! Welcome to Silver's very first story. This story takes place three years after the event of "The Dream Keeper Chronicles" by TheDragonKeeper, I never thought about giving Silver his own spin-off but I decided to run with it after reading Toren, Logan and Gabriel story by their own creator. Silver is 20 years old at the start of the first chapter of this story but will be turning 21 soon in later chapters and there are some events that didn't happen in TheDragonKeeper or Logan stories but will happen later in "Days of the Magical World".

There are some moments in the chapters that are based off of some scene from my favorite shows and movies I watch and enjoy. If you notice any reference, easter eggs, and hidden details and meanings, don't be afraid to point it out in the review section. I would love to read what you have found. You may notice that some members of the Dream Defenders might not appear in the story but will make a cameo in some later future chapters. So stay tuned, they might appear as special guests.

Alas, let's get started on The Romance of Silver Willow.

Enjoy!

Silver and Staghart, the romance couple, have alway been with each other ever since the two started dating after the post-Hex era. Alway been together for the past four years, the couple were so much in love and their love is stronger than ever! Their love and romance is like a fairytale that Silver dreamt of when he was a young boy. The stuff of which fairy tales are made where the two fall in love with each other and share a kiss.

But sometimes, not all fairytales end with the simple phrase 'and they live happily ever after.' In fact, everything has started to change. Their romance has changed. Their love has changed. But they are no longer the same as before.

Staghart and his London Clans went away for a one month quest and it has been since he left. It happened before when they first started dated and Silver got used to him being away with his Clans and knowing he will come back with a kiss of their love. Even when he's away, Silver now has more quality time with his friends and family.

During his departure, Silver and his family went away to visit relatives in Silver's hometown at Santa Barbara for two weeks, he attended the Princess Annual Luncheon at the Castle in Magic Kingdom, going on a mission with the Dream Defenders and doing his part time job as a babysitter. There is even one time the boys of the Dream Defender went camping on Ocean Pond Campground without their magic/power for some fun guys-only outdoor experience…… only for them to spend the night in the car because SOMEBODY forgot to put their tents in the back of the car!

Beside all that, it was really quite fun! Silver decided to create a fun diy scrapbook memory to highlight the greatest and most exciting moment of his life in each month that he will never forget.

One month has officially passed and the London Clans arrive back after finishing their quest and Silver was delighted to see Staghart back again. The two do especially go on a romantic dinner later on at the Tony's Town Square Restaurant in Main Street USA to catch up. Staghart did tell Silver everything about their quest and Silver told Staghart about everything he has done while he's away. But what shocked Silver to hear is that in the next two weeks, Staghart and his London Clans will be going away again for two weeks to find the ancient gemstone that was lost in the Mid-17th century in Italy and the London Clans must find that gemstone as they fear other might use it for their evil advantage.

Silver was distraught, Staghart has already been back and now he's leaving again for two weeks. They barely see each other nor do they spend more time with one another. Silver feels like they are growing apart from each other, but he did recently admit that it is mostly because that's his job as the member of the London Clans and they don't have as much time for each other as they used to.

The day before Staghart and his London Clans set off for their quest, Silver and Staghart spend one last time together before he leaves tomorrow like having an outdoor dinner at his backyard. It was supposed to be romantic as Silver had hoped for but it felt like a regular friendly-dinner with no romance feeling. It was so awkward that Staghart decided to leave early to get ready and they didn't even bother to kiss goodbye to each other. Silver let out a huge disappointment sigh. This is not how he imagined this dinner date would go.

But now as the two were around with each other, slowly their love from one another died out and the two notice this before, the less time they spend together the less their love fades away. They feel like it would be best for them to break up but both reject the idea. They refuse to break up so they try to spend as much more needed time together as they can in hope their love can be restored from each other but each time when the two go out on their dates, it feels awkward as the two don't know what to do or how they should do this romantically.

The couple believe it's time for them to have a private and serious conversation with each other about their relationship and Silver decided to have Staghart meet him in his family backyard, thankfully, his parents and his siblings won't be at home as they are going to attend his sister's friend's birthday party and won't be back until it's over meaning he's going to be alone at home with no one around.

Silver stood outside as he faced toward Lake Florence while waiting for Staghart to arrive. His family already left for the party so he already told them about the private conversation he and Staghart will need to talk about. His parents were a bit surprised at this but they did remind to call them if he needed anything.

So Silver waited for him to arrive, as he waited, he entertained himself by admiring these pretty yellow rose bushes her mother had planted. This young adult has tan skin with neutral undertone and a tubular body type. His curly, wavy black hair that falls into his mid-back; his bangs are parted and slightly curled. A comfortable blue tuck in shirt featuring short sleeves with a pointed style collar, and white floral embroidered. He put on his fitted beige pants with a leather brown belt around his waist, Silver paired his look with his dark brown boat shoes with white socks and also wore his signature black square frame glasses.

He has been outside for the past twenty minutes and Staghart hasn't arrived yet, or so he thought he hadn't until what he felt like a gust of wind or something was blowing behind him. When he turned around, he saw Staghart land himself on the grass of his backyard just ten feet away from him.

Staghart gave him a small smile and Silver returned back with a head nodded before making his way toward him.

"Silver," he greeted him.

"Staghart," Silver smiled at him.

Instead of greeting each other with a kiss like they used to, the two make their way on the back porch of the house where they both sit down together on the steps and stare at the lake. But none of them said anything, they just sat there, alone, awkward silence reigned for several long moments before both of them spoke at once.

"I hadn't thought we would-""Silver, should we-"

Both paused and sent sheepish looks at each other.

"You first." Staghart spoke softly.

Silver paused for a moment, considering his words. "You know how much less time we have with each other, right?" He said before looking at him.

"Yeah," Staghart nodded. "I know that too. I thought I'm just being ridiculous that's all… but it wasn't when we saw each other again after our quest was done. Even when we go out on our date, we never kiss for once. We've been close for a long time , and you're important to me. I really like you and I'm glad we've gotten to know each other for the past four years."

"As do I."

"I-I think it would be best that we should…"

Silver knew what he was going to say so he interrupted him. "You think we should… break up, right?" Staghart wasn't confused anymore, he was now in shock that Silver knew.

Staghart looked down at his hand. "Who knows when we would get a chance to do it, I was so far away from you and we barely saw each other. We haven't been interacting like a couple for a while as we used to. We didn't say "I love you", we didn't kiss, cuddle, or hug."

"I guess I've been feeling that way too," said Silver, playing with his hand. "I feel like I don't have romantic feelings for you nor do you have feelings for me too."

Staghart nodded agreeing with him. "That's the part why it would be better if we should break up, I don't think this will work." Staghart looked at him. "Another reason is that… you're mortal, I'm not…" This causes Silver to look up at him. "One day, you will grow old while I remain the same. I don't like to imagine that. I don't want to imagine you laying on your deathbed while I hold your hand. I don't want to suffer in pain or depression. I want someone who can share those pain and sadness with you as they grow old too." He explained. "You will be in the afterlife alone without me, I will be staying here standing on your grave. It's painful for me knowing you will one day be up in the cloud. Not me… I don't think I am ready for that kind of pain."

Silver looked at him with surprise looks, he never imagined what his future would be with Staghart. For his future, he wanted to be an artist and finished college to get his degree. But he never imagined about his future with him, he never thought about the two getting married with each other, living together in their own home, or even having kids together. He never thought of that before.

"I want you to find someone else who cares about you, loves you, cherishes you and who is ready to grow old with you and maybe one day is ready to be a father of your children you will have in the future." Staghart explained, Silver could sense the crack in his tone as if he was about to cry, so was too.

"Me with someone else…." Silver raises his hand to his chest, feeling his heartbeat beating.

"Yes…." Staghart nodded. "With our future and our career, I don't think it will work. We spend our time away from each other as if we weren't a couple."

Silver sighed, he knew Staghart was right.

"I hope you're not angry."

Silver just smiled and gave Staghart a small kiss on the cheek. "No, I'm not angry and I think this break up is a good idea."

Staghart was relieved. "That's good to hear…. But…" He looked at Silver. "How should we break the news to others on social media?"

Silver began to think for the moment. He had never been in the relationship before in his life before coming to the Magical World. This is his first time doing this. The two aren't like those big celebrity couples like Beyoncé and Jay-Z or Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. But since they have their own social media with many followers, it would be best for them to announce their break up or else their followers will begin to grow suspicious if they notice something is not right between the two of them which would lead to some nasty or hurtful false rumors.

"We should make a statement of our relationship on our social media accounts and let our followers know. That way, no false rumors about us would be spread."

Staghart nodded in agreement. "That's a good idea. I think that would be the best way to handle this situation." He said with a sigh. "I'll make the statement and we can post it on our accounts tomorrow."

Then, another awkward silence came.

"Soooo…… this is it." Silver said.

Silver let out a sigh. "…This is it."

"Our relationship…. It's over now."

"Very much."

Staghart leaned forward and kissed Silver's forehead, a gesture of farewell. "I wish you all the best in the future, Silver. I know you will find someone who will make you happy as I did to you."

"I wish you the same…" Silver said softly, kissing him on the tip of his nose. "I thank you so much for all the love and support you gave me, the laughter we shared, the happiness we had, and everything for the past four years of our relationship, I will never forget you."

Staghart smiled sadly and nodded before the two gave each other a one last tight hug. They stayed like that for a while until they both broke apart, their eyes filled with tears. Silver had given Staghart a shy, slightly tight smile, that reminded him of when he was shy at just 16. Staghart stepped away and took twenty paces from him, his wing started open and just like that, he took off flying into the sky.

Before he left, he shared one last final look at Silver and then stared at him before he waved him goodbye. Silver returns with a small smile and waves him back before disappearing into his home. Staghart let out a single tear rolled down to his cheek, he wiped off and started to fly back home.

Inside the Willow home, Silver enter his bedroom upstair before sitting on the edge of his bed, that's all it takes for the tears threatening to fall from Silver's eyes to give up and stream down, pouring alongside everything he's been feeling for the past few days, including a sob so heart wrenching Silver feels like someone he has known has died.

The next day on what would be their fifth year's anniversary, the two officially announced their breakup on their social media platform.

Staghart Instagram Story:

Silver Instagram Story:

After carefully thought and consideration, we have made the decision to separate. It is so important to us to love and respect one another, but we have realized in the process that we must take some time apart so that each of us can live the life we can. The cause of this breakup is not hidden secrets, nasty rumors, or scandalous events to blame. Our sincere appreciation goes out to all of you who have supported us from the start as we find ourselves on a new journey, separately.

Thank you

Silver and Staghart, the most romantic couple, have officially broken up.

Their fifth year relationship has ended.

Yeah, I bet you guys never saw this coming! You never think that Silver and Staghart would break up, huh? The two are one of those couples who would be the type of couple whose romantic relationship you admire so much and is your perfect ideal relationship goal you wanted to have with your partner. But not all happy couples who you admire so much have such a romantic relationship. No couple is perfect and not all relationships are smooth sailing, there are always going to be problems, rough spots, and bumps along the road.

I feel like Silver and Staghart would have that in their relationship. Silver and Staghart have alway been the "romantic couple" of the Dream Defender group, the two were alway going to be the romantic couple from the start of their relationship with their constant romantic dates, attending ball together, and gesture with a kiss. It might be hard to imagine how it would be when the two break up, but it's just like any other normal couple, they're going to separate, move on, and wish them happiness as alway in different ways.

I do not know how long it will take for Silver and Staghart to heal from this breakup, but I do hope they will eventually recover from this heartbroken experience. I really hope you'll forgive me for breaking your hearts and I also hope you will continue to read about Silver's story.
