Chapter 1: A death of a beloved hero
"Gee Mario! You're so brave to go to the forest with me in the middle of the night!,"said a mushroom like creature with a blue vest."No-a problem Toad!,"said the famous hero,Mario himself,"I'm-a glad I could help out a friend!,"he added.Just then,there was some rustling in the bushes.Mario felt strangely an unholy presence from it and making him a little scared,which barely even happened.
But Toad,being the very naive, simpleton he was,went to the bush and pulled it apart."I-I have a feeling you s-shouldn't do that,"warned Mario but Toad wasn't listening.And a scared,demonic chicken squawked into the air,with the flower they were looking for.
"There's the flower! Catch it!" Toad exclaimed,not thinking twice before he started running after the chicken."Wait Toad!" I swear that Toad might be the death of me."You don't know what dangerous traps that chicken could leads us in-!,"Mario was greeted by an old "friend" of his you could say,Roger the demon imp.And also his friend, Thomas another demon imp, was holding the same chicken with the flower in it. Putting his hand on Toad's head,smirking at the pathetic attempt of the mushroom creature to get the chicken.
Roger, was right in front of Mario,"You," Mario said with hatred and shock in his tone."Well,well,well looks like you recognize us,unlike you to do that since you couldn't even realize Mr.L was Luigi before he told you",Roger teased"Oi! Ain't we s'pposed to kill anyone who tries to touch the flower?"Thomas stated,still teasing Toad.
"Alright,you better give me that chicken!Or else!",Toad threatened "Or else what pipsqueak?You gonna pound me to the ground with your noodle arms? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!,"he teased more,"Alright you've asked for it!"Toad was beat red in the face,he snatched Thomas's tail and bit it so hard on his tail that he screamed "$#\@! You little piece of-OW!",he was interrupted by one of Mario's fireblazes "Did you just HIT MY FRIEND?!!Oh boy now you're going to get it!",Roger threw a fist at Mario into the ground,but got his hand stuck in the ground and missed Mario by an inch.
The scene changes to Luigi,just snoozing in bed.The rain pitter-pattering on the windows on the other side of Luigi's bed,Mario's bed messed up a little with a letter on it.Yoshi curled up like a cat on Luigi's green bed,with his favorite plush of Luigi of course. Then thunder boomed as loud as Bowser's roar,waking up both Yoshi and Luigi with a fright "AAH" they both squeaked,disturbed by their slumber. "Mama Mia!That almost gave me a heart attack!"Luigi reacted,almost laughing,but Yoshi just hugged him tightly.
"Yoshi give you hug for scary thunder,Mama Luigi,"Yoshi replied so cutely that Luigi would squeeze him so gosh dang tight for how cute the dinosaur was. I don't deserve this sweet and cute muffin.Luigi rubbed Yoshi at the back of his head,literally melting at how cute the dinosaur was,then he saw Mario was missing,again.He thought he'd shrug it off because Mario was normally missing at 2 in the morning and he would always come back at around 8o'clock ,but it was only half past 1 something was a little off, and there was a letter on his bed.
It read:Dear Luigi
I'm going to the forest with Toad to find a special flower that grants any wish you desire!So
that's why I'm not here right now.Promise I'll be back by 1o'clock .If not then I either died ,which
would never happen but it might,or I'm just lost in the forest please call a search party.

"What's it say?",asked Yoshi,having the curiosity every child has."it says we have to rescue Mario again,"he said,annoyed he might have to study a lot of history again."What did he get into this time?Wait! Let me guess! Umm a giant ant queen made of fire put him in a cage of fire!,"Yoshi guessed
"Nope try again!"Luigi played along"A confetti clown wrapped him up in confetti rope and kidnapped him?" "Nope let me give you a hint:he got himself in trouble "he replied"Ummm... Uuh...Oh I give up!Tell me what it is please!"Yoshi bellowed in defeat"Already?"Luigi smirked"Alright I'll tell you.He got lost in the forest,"he added,his smirk getting wider.
"That's it?!?" he was surprised of how boring that sounded,"Yep,with Toad as well,"Luigi answered."Well that's not fun at all!"he said,angry that it wasn't fun and flopped onto one of Luigi's pillow with his arms crossed.Luigi looked at Yoshi cute little angwy face and cuddled up next to him.This is the cutest thing in the world and it is my son."Y'know everything doesn't always have to be fun,"he explained,"Why not,Mama Luigi?,"he asked,like every child would have,"Because that's not how the would works,Cupcake,"he replied,in a motherly tone,kissing Yoshi on the forehead.
"Now, let's save Mario and Toad from their little forest situation,shall we?" Luigi hoped out of bed,went to the closet on the far end of the room,opened it and grabbed his clothes and Yoshi's saddle.He then setted it on the bed and started getting dressed.Once he was done,he helped Yoshi with his saddle and then off they were.
Roger was desperately trying to get his out of the ground,when Mario used one of those anime moves on him with his fireblaze and burned him but Roger was still in one piece ,he had an expression that said "seriously"and the thing to add on to his expression was a burnt cough.Then Mario hit him with two punches and a kick into the air, releasing the demon from the ground, then he grabbed Roger's legs and threw him straight to the ground again.
"Oow,that hurt-AH!"Roger was greeted by a giant pill almost crushing him,but he dodged it in like half a milisecond.Mario did a roll on the ground,between Roger's legs and magically a gun like appliance was on his hand and was pointed at Roger."How ARE YOU BEATING ME UP?!?!?!?! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!,"he complained."Why are you fighting me instead of Toad?,"was Mario's comeback,looking at Toad to see that he and Thomas were just watching the fight,eating popcorn."Why'd you stop fighting?!,"Thomas was so engaged in the fight the he forgot about the chicken and the flower,which were on the ground."Yeah!Keep the show going!,"demanded Toad,also engaged in the fight.
Mario just looked at them,still pointing the gun at Roger and rolled his eyes at them."You're supposed to be fighting the mushroom creature, Thomas,"Roger said, pinching the brim of his nose.
"Ah yeah!I totally forget about that!,"he realized"Come here you mushroom!!!,"he jumped on Toad,and started fighting with him in the way you see in cartoons."Ah,"he shirked,and also started fighting in response.
Seeing that,Mario and Roger continued their fight,and Roger looked like he was gonna lose,but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.When Mario was gonna smash a hammer down on him he made it levitate,and smashed Marbo with it instead,leaving him a nasty headache.He tried to do it a second time, but Mario dodged it ,a nanosecond almost to late.He grab another power-up,the cat bell.He used it, leaped towards Roger, scratched him on the eye,on purpose of course,and pinned him down
on the ground, attacking him even more with his claws than before.
When Toad was done beating up Thomas,he decided to help Mario out a little,so he started to walk to them when suddenly,Thomas grabbed his legs,if you can call them that,and swung him over his head and into the ground,then he repeated this motion over and over again.Toad was helpless basically,just being hit into the ground so many times until he lost consciousness.
Mario didn't see that Toad lost consciousness,because he was too busy trying to stay alive to pay attention to him. But Thomas tried to jump on Mario,but the cat-like reflexes the cat suit gave him helped him leap out the way and make Thomas and Roger collide,leaving two knocked out demons on the floor."Well,it seems the demons are down,now let's get the flower we were looking for and leav-,"Mario finally saw Toad unconscious on the ground and couldn't finish his sentence.
Well that explains why there were two demons trying to fight me.He went to go pick up Toad,but a man with a dice for a head and purple suit was blocking the way.Mario felt the same unholy aura from him too,but not that as strong as the demonic chicken.And the man wasn't there before,it was like he magically appeared out of nowhere.
"Excuse me!Could you move out of the way so I can get my friend,please?,"the man turned around,looking downwards at Mario,with a stare that could kill."Well,looks like those imps couldn't handle a simple job!,"he answered, adjusting his cuffs,"Looks like I have to do the job for them! That's why you don't make an imp do a kings job!"he added, intimidating Mario a little.
Before they left,Luigi left a note on his bed saying:

Sorry that I'm not here right now, I'm going to save my bro and Toad They got lost in it because they were looking for a flower.

Later on in the night,Daisy was running to the Mario brothers house with a excited expression on her face."I can't wait to tell them about the thing I just found out!,"she said,almost at their home.When she got there,she didn't even think about knocking before she busted the door down,"Luigi!Mario!I have something to tell both of you!,"she yelled throughout the house,before she went into their room.
She was little calmer with opening the door,but if the brothers were there, they'd already open their room door before Daisy broke it down,but they weren't there.Daisy opened it,but was surprised to see that they weren't there,not even Yoshi.She saw both notes on their beds,picked them up,and read both of them."Welp,guess I have to wait to tell them,"she said, determined to tell them the thing she found out
"Wait! I don't even know your name yet!And you're trying to kill me?Just because of a flower?," he tried to convince the man not to kill him,"I'm Mario!And you?,"he asked,trying by some time to let Toad get up,"I'm glad you asked!,"the man stated"I'm Mr.King Dice! I'm the gamest in the land!,"he started to sing,a microphone popping into his hand as he put it by his mouth."I NEVER play nice! I'm the devil's right hand man!"he started to snap his fingers to the beat,looking annoyed at Thomas and Roger."If you haven't finished your task, haven't worked assiduously!No! I cannot let you pass! Don't you mess with me!,"he snapped his fingers a bit louder this time,causing demons to appear right behind Mario, singing with King Dice.
"Don't mess with King Dice!,"he sang,"Don't mess with King Dice!,"the demons repeated,like backup singers,"Don't mess with me!","Don't mess with him!," "Don't mess with King Dice!","Don't mess with King Dice!","Don't mess with meeeeee~yeah!,"he ended,leaving Mario confused about why this man sang instead of introducing himself,and Toad still wasn't awake yet."Sorry if it's a bit bland darling, but it's still a working progress,"he stated,"No,it was good,better than I can do,"Mario replied,hoping for Toad to wake up soon,"Really?Well you must have a bad taste in music to think that's the best thing ever!,"he teased.
Then King Dice threw a hole bunch of cards at him,but Mario dodged them easily, though getting cut on his gloved hand.Well,that went from zero to a hundred quickly.Then the cards that King Dice threw turned into card soldiers, which threw spears at him.He didn't see them,and ended up being pierced with a spear,right through the back.Blood rushing out quickly,as he fell to his knees,pain was all he could feel,he felt his life flashing before his eyes,while he heard a faint,evil laughter in the background.The last thing he saw was Toad,still passed out on the ground.
Luigi was on his way to save Mario from the forest on the back on Yoshi,when he saw the demonic chicken running past him.He was so confused on why a demonic chicken was in the forest in the first place,but he'll figure that out later.Once they got deeper into the forest,Luigi started to get the feeling that,something was wrong,very wrong,too wrong.
Then two other demons,both had wings but one was slim and blue,and the other fat and purple.They defeated them with ease with the help of their skills from smash bros,and it felt a little bit,too easy to Luigi.But he was just worrying too much,right?
Toad gained his consciousness after a while,but was shocked and terrified to see that Mario was dead!"What the HECK!?!?!?!?!?!!"he jumped back in pure scaredness and horrific shock that he didn't know what to think or do.He just ran,with no thoughts or any control over his body,just that he had to run,not knowing where he was going.
He continued on running,until he stumbled upon Luigi and Yoshi.
Yoshi and Luigi were still looking for Mario and Toad,but then they saw Toad running to them,at first,Luigi thought that their mission would finally be over and they'd save Mario,bring them home and celebrate with cake,but then he saw the scared expression on Toad's face and that Mario wasn't following him.Something happened to Mario,and it wasn't good.
Toad was panting like crazy,"What happened? Where's Uncle Mario?,"Yoshi asked,seeming hesitant on asking that question,but needed to know.Toad didn't answer,instead he motioned to follow him,still panting.They followed him,not knowing what was waiting for them.
When they got there,Luigi and Yoshi even Toad couldn't believe what they saw,were their eyes deceiving them,they believed so,but it was real alright,very real indeed.Yoshi and Luigi both broke down into tears, comforting each other.There was only one question filling Luigi's mind,was Mario,his brother that was a legendary hero who was basically invincible,really dead?Was this some "funny"prank Mario tried to pull?Or was he actually dead.He got up,picked Mario's dead,bloody body, getting some blood on his clothes but he didn't have time to care about that,and started walking back home.Toad told Yoshi to get up because they were leaving and they both followed Luigi.
Once they got to the Mushroom Kingdom,they explained what happened to Princess Peach,she reacted the same way they did,shocked, terrified and furious with the person who killed Mario,and hired a search party to find that person and do horrible things to them,but they never did find him.
Once Luigi and Yoshi got home,they found Daisy lying in Luigi's bed,sleeping.They woke her up and broke the news to her,"I'm so sorry that happened to you two!,"said Daisy,trying to be empathetic , hugging both of them.Luigi asked why she was there and she told them that she had made a discovery.They asked what it was and she answered with," Y'know how the sega characters can go to the Olympics with us,well I was wondering how can they come to our universe and we can't to theirs.I figured out how!They use a special device that teleports them to the Nintendo universe,so I made the same thing by"borrowing"tails' blueprints for it and...,"then she whipped out the device and showed it to them.
"Tada! It's cool isn't it?,"she stated,showing it off."I already tested it out!And got some cool stuff from using this!You just think of a word,use the teleporter and BAM! You're there!,"she demonstrated it,zapping the wall with the teleporter,going through the portal it formed and came back out with some gold coins with pie-eyes on them."Wow! That's amazing,Daisy!But where did you get the coins from?,"Luigi asked,giving Daisy with a lying"I did nothing!"face."uuh...Nowhere important?"Luigi knew she did something wrong,because the next second,an anthropomorphic coin yelled"Hey!Who took my coins?!?,"just before Daisy closed the portal."um...I also got this!,"Daisy gave Luigi a poster advertising a casino on the Inkwell isles.He looked at it realizing a way to save his brother.
Hello everyone that read the very first chapter of luciano of the Inkwell isles.As you can see a did a very interesting theme for this,but I might run out of ideas so if you wanna you can give me some OCs,ideas for chapters or scenes, after the next chapter ask questions to some characters you wanna ask questions to,or suggestions for characters to add.Yes this is gonna be a crossover,I just don't know how to put the type of franchise as a crossover so sorry about that.This is my first fanfic on this website so do not be that harsh on me please.Hopefully one more thing,I will put the characters you can ask below the writers paragraph.It has been a great first meeting with you child ,but I'm afraid I have to go,
