"Are you coming?"

Everybody's jaws dropped and their eyes were as wide as saucers. Armulyn the Bard sat back in his chair with his whistleharp in his lap and smiled as he watched two boys and two girls stare at him with shock. It was silent for a minute until one of the boys, the oldest, spoke up. "What happened next!?"

Then soon all four children were pleading with him to go on with the story. Then a woman walked into the room and said, "Children it's time for bed."

"But Grandma, Uncle Armulyn hasn't finished the story yet! Couldn't we stay up just a little bit longer?" The eldest girl pleaded.

"Don't worry I'll tell you the story tomorrow.", Armulyn assured them.

"Promise you won't forget?" the youngest girl said.

"I promise."

Then, the children went to their rooms, said their prayers and crawled into bed. But they all wondered the same thing, how could they get to sleep when there was a cliffhanger that needed to be resolved? But luckily they all went to sleep.

The next day the children couldn't wait to hear what was to happen next in the story. When the children ate breakfast and finished their chores, they started their search for the Bard. Then, they found him in a garden sitting under a big oak tree, playing his whistleharp. It was a very beautiful song. He had told them yesterday during the story that it was first played by the Song Maiden herself, and that he wrote the words to it years later.

The children sat around him, listening to the song and finally understanding where its inspiration came from. Once the song ended, Armulyn looked at the children in turn with a sparkle in his eyes, then spoke, "So, are you ready to go on another adventure?"

YES!", the children exclaimed.

Well, let's see where did we leave off?" Armulyn asked pretending to forget. He normally did this to see how much the children remembered.

"You left off with the part where Janner dies." The youngest girl said sadly.

"Yeah, and they were trying to bring him back!" The youngest boy said.

"Ah yes, that's right. Kalmar had asked his mother if she was coming with them on the adventure." Armulyn said.

"Did she?" The oldest girl asked.

"Nia thought it over a little bit wondering if she should take the risk. Then..."
