As you can see, this is pretty much, a crossover attempt with a dead series. Symbiotic Titan was a really good cartoon, before it was cancelled for stupid reasons, like lacking merchandise and other financial reasons, before ultimately getting written off by Cartoon Network. 'sarcastic woo in the background'.
I mean come on, it was made by the same guy who made that other show Samurai Jack, and it took fucking years to make that damn thing come back, that's what I hate about cliffhangers, primarily the ones that never resolve afterwards.
And now, here's this crossover, which I'm surprised no one has ever bothered to make. The crossover with Symbiotic Titan will be an Ultraman crossover.
I was going to make it into a power rangers crossover with Magna Defender, but I changed my mind and wanted to do something a bit more interesting.
So, in the end, this what I've come up with, heck since I got both of the main series, (yes I own the complete series of Symbiotic Titan. Heheheh, I have my sources of where I get certain stuff.)
So, here's what I've come up with.
Oc Ultraman in Symbiotic Titan.
The end result is Heart, Mind, Body & Ultra Spirit also known as Ultraman Luster. (Just a quick note, this chapter might not be exactly how a bunch of you expect it to start out, but I only ask of you to roll along with it. Thank you.)
Chapter 1
The Titan Appears!
Unknown Pov.
A battle was being waged between some unknown being and a very hideous monster, that was practically something from the stuff of nightmares. One thing was for sure both the fighter and monster were massive.
The creature threw a punch that the fighter blocked.
While the fighter was down the creature began charging energy aiming it in one direction. Seeing this, the fighter gasped before speeding off. Just in the nick of time as the creature fired, the fighter crossed his arms to create an energy shield that managed to block the attack for a few seconds but soon enough it shattered, and the fighter took the full hit crying out in pain loudly getting on knee. When he did a loud synchronized beeping noise was heard and the fighter was growing tired.
The monster roared as it leapt towards the fighter who took this opportunity to spread out his arms quickly. As the fighter did so his body glowed immensely. Then it put its arms in an 'L' formation before firing off a multicolored energy beam from the left arm hitting the monster in the chest who screeched out loudly in pain as it was propelled up high into the sky.
With a loud war cry the fighter's beam gained more power blasting the monster further out high out into the air and from a long distance away outside of the earth's atmosphere a massive explosion was seen.
The battle that was being waged was finally over, and the fighter was beyond exhausted. He knew he would not be able to make it, not with all the wounds he sustained. But knew that the sacrifice made was more than worth it.
However, the sound of crying was heard drawing the fighter's attention to his right. Down below him was a woman on her knees in her arms was a small blue cloth. Seeing this fighter used the last of his strength to get back onto his feet. But while doing so the beeping was starting to get faster and louder, plus small light particles were oozing all around him.
Now due to the sheer exhaustion from the fight, the fighters' legs gave out and used whatever he had left.
As for the woman in question who was in tears looked up at the fighter with a pleading look.
The giant raised up its left arm holding it outwards. As he did, light from his body began to guide its way to the small cloth in the woman's arms and soon enough the light intensified until it was too bright to see what happened next.
Sherman, Illinois, a normal town in the United States. It has a metropolitan area that was conveniently close by to a suburban neighborhood with the local high school right in the middle of the two. Yes, the town was very much normal by everyone's standards, however unknown to everyone living in the area, it would never be the same again.
Our main focus was on a small two-story house that'd easily house over five people, either through sharing rooms or improvising.
One room comes into view, and it definitely belonged to a boy, and one who loved anime. The reason for this was because there were posters showing hero's together with other characters, a bookshelf filled with manga, and a rack filled with DVDs.
The sound of an alarm is now heard followed by a groan heard from underneath the covers. A hand then reaches out and slams on the device causing it to fall off the small table. Emerging from the covers was a young teen of half Japanese descent who had light skin tone and dark brown hair reaching a little down his neck. His eyes were a solid light gold color with a noticeable small scar on his left cheek.
"Let's get this day over with..." The teen said before exiting out of his room with a yawn stretching out his arms. He went down some stairs and entered a kitchen, when he did someone else was there.
It was a girl around the same age he was. She had pale skin, emerald, green eyes, and had blue dyed hair styled into a ponytail. Her clothing consisted of a black vest decorated with a series of different buttons, that had a blue shirt with thin white stripes underneath it. The rest of her clothing consisted of a pair of black pants and knee-high tennis shoes matching in color. Finally, around her neck was a grey scarf with black spiderweb designs on it.
"Good morning, Jeanne" The boy greeted, speaking the girl's name who turned around to greet him back.
She turned to the voice and smiled. "Oh, morning Kaiden How'd you sleep?"
"Eh, I had a headache, so I barely had any." He replied back lying about that weird dream he had while pouring himself a bowl of cereal. "Where's mom at? "
In response she jabs her thumb over to a note on the refrigerator and reads out loud: "Had to go to work, be out of town for a couple of weeks. Sorry Kaiden. Love Mom :)"
"Oh, okay." Kaiden nodded his head as he started eating and looked over to the tv. "What are you watching?"
"Eh, nothing special. just scrolling through the channels." Jeanne replied back before turning off the tv. "By the way, we're taking the bus to school today."
"Already figured as much." Kaiden replied back downing the last of his breakfast.
"Yeah, you might wanna get a move on dude."
"Sure." Kaiden listened to her suggestion and headed back upstairs. After a few minutes of freshening up, Kaiden was now wearing a plain black t-shirt with light green cargo pants, a pair of black boots and still had his necklace on.
"The bus is here, Kaiden! And I'm timing us now!"
"I'm coming!" The teen replied back and soon slid down the railing of the stairs and caught up with her exiting out of the door while she locked it and rushed to get inside. Once they did, Kaen managed to secure a good empty seat in the back with Jeanne not too far behind.
"What's our time?"
She checks her watch. "49 seconds. A new record." Jeanne answered and exchanged a high five with him. "By the way did you see it last night?"
"See what?" Kaiden questioned with both interest and confusion as the transport took off.
"Apparently a really big meteorite landed somewhere in the forest."
"A meteor?" Kaiden was surprised to hear this. "Sorry, but I didn't, I was asleep. Did you?
"Oh yeah. It was going across the sky so fast I barely caught a glimpse of it from my window." She lightly tapped his shoulder. "Hey, maybe it's a sign indicating something amazing will happen!"
"Nah, you're over thinking about it." Kaiden waved off her cousin as he sat back into his seat. "I mean it's not like anything like that happens in a normal place like this."
"You never know." Jeanne said getting in the last word putting on her headphones to wait for the long ride to end.
As of right now we see the two standing in front of the school's entrance where they and many other of their fellow students disembarked from their buses.
"Ah High school..." Jeanne exclaimed in a very unenthusiastic yet very casual tone "The badlands where us youths go and get an education and afterwards were left fending for ourselves in this world."
Her cousin frowned a bit at what she said. "Geez, you're grim. You know that?" Kaiden commented. "I know you think that's funny, but the way you describe it, come on."
She shrugged her shoulders, not being bothered one bit. "What? I'm just saying the truth. Besides, it's normal of what you'd expect. Such as the jocks... " She points over to a bunch of big muscular guys watching two of their friends playing punchies.
"The nerds... " She now points to a few individuals at a bench, one playing with a robot while the others were playing games or reading a book. "Then there's the cheerleaders..." The red head said bitterly as the said team was walking inside. "Every bit the typical social stereotype is here."
"And what are we supposed to be classified as then?" Kaiden questioned.
"Outsiders..." The red head answered casually, making the brown-haired teen roll his eyes upon getting the answer.
"That's real nice...Some 'inspiring' words of wisdom for my first day in my Sophomore year in high school."
"Oh relax..." She said with a playful push. " You really need to live it up. You ain't gonna find a girl that way."
"Okay, nice talk..." Kaiden said, giving her a pat on the shoulder and began to walk off. "I'm heading to class."
"You know I'm right on this one!" She called out. "Because I know I am!"
"The day that you're right is when giant monsters start falling out the sky!" Kaiden retorted and headed inside. Once he was inside, Kaiden was greeted by the early morning rush, and during this skirmish he reached into his pocket to drink some water to help out with his headache.
Following the same routine, he's been doing since last year going to his locker. He then entered the combination code and opened it. Almost immediately a large stack of books fell right on him with some hitting his face. He then sighed as he was picking them all up.
"I knew I forgot to clean this thing out before summer..." He grumbled as he casually tossed the books he didn't need into the trash can right behind him. Each one successfully went into the hole. As he was doing this the bell rang meaning classes were about to begin. "And there's my cue."
As he closed his locker, Kale turned around and immediately he bumped into someone knocking them on the floor.
The one he bumped into was a girl around his age. She had blonde hair shaped into a pixie cup that is curved up in the back. Eyes blue as the ocean and had a few freckles underneath them. Her clothing was rather 'interesting' to say the least, really bright colors. orange knee high boots, green striped high socks, a pink jacket with white beads around the wrist, underneath was some sort of orange and yellow striped skirted shirt with another yellow skirt around it. Lastly, she had a small purple collar around her neck along with a blue handbag.
His face slightly reddened do her appearance, but he snapped out of his trance. "Are you alright?" He asked, offering her a hand.
"Yes. Thank you." She replied accepting his hand to help her back up.
"Sorry about that, I didn't notice you."
"No, it's alright. It was just an accident." She reassured him.
"That's good to hear." He then hummed, raising his eyebrow while putting hand underneath his chin. "Hmm. Come to think of it, I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new by any chance?"
She nodded yes. "I am actually. I only just transferred along with my brother; this is my first day." The blonde frowned a bit in annoyance. "But I'm having a bit of trouble finding my class."
"Mind if I see your schedule?" She reached into her bag and passed what he requested glancing through it. "Oh, looks like you're in luck, we're going to be in the same class." He said and passed back her schedule. "Just follow me."
Hearing this made her smile. "Thank you so much."
...d...v...p...
Upon arriving their teacher was outside the door appearing to be waiting for their newest addition. "Ah, there you are."
"Sorry, sir, I was just leading her too here." He said, gesturing to the girl he was with. His teacher noticed this and nodded in approval.
"Much appreciated Mr. Tamashii. Now head inside." He nodded and headed inside going over to his seat. The teacher then entered along with the new student.
"Good morning class." The teacher greeted. "Before we begin, I have some news. Today we have a new student joining us today. Ilana Lunis. Would you like to introduce yourself? "
She then steps forward and makes a hand gesture. "The heart, mind and body joined as one." She then bows. "Salutations friends! I am honored to be here in this fine institution, where our friendship will blossom. And the bonds of social segregation will give way to unite us as one."
As she finished a moment of silence fell upon the whole entire classroom. That is until someone coughed. "Doofus" making everyone laugh while Ilana had a visible frown on her face showing she wasn't amused.
"Okay, Ms. Lunis, your seat is right over there next to Mr. Tamashii, the one you just walked in with. " The teacher said pointing right over to where Kaiden was sitting. Seeing this Ilana's mood seemed to change as she sat down. Then as their teacher turned their back away Kaiden passed her a piece of gum with a little scribbling reading: Save for later :)
As their lesson began, she looked over to her new acquaintance and smiled.
And just like that, with her introduction, Ilana was labeled as a 'weirdo' and a laughingstock. That pretty much meant to others the death sentence of their social life. But what struck Kaiden was the way how she acted, and actually called their learning environment a 'fine institution'. Quite frankly, it was sort of a piece of garbage all on its own.
Anyways, it was now lunch time, and everyone went off to do their own thing with whatever few minutes of freedom they had. For Kaiden he'd just finished sorting out his locker. Now, if today wasn't any weirder, his locker was just right across from where Ilana had hers. He did feel something was odd about her, but to him, everyone was just different in their own way, so who was he to judge? He was different to, but he couldn't really figure on how much like everyone else.
"Salutations!" He heard two boys walking by mocking and mimicking what she had said in class earlier, making Ilana slam her locker shut in frustration.
"I wouldn't let what they say get to you." Kaiden said as he walked over to her getting her attention. "This place is filled with all sorts of people, and some aren't pleasant. If it helps, I think what you said back there was nice."
"Really?" She looked surprised to hear him say that. "You don't see me as a doofus?"
"No. Not really." He clears his throat. "Also, I never introduced myself. Officially I'm Kaiden. Kaiden Tamashii. And you are?" He looks over to a large, tall teen wearing a plain white button shirt with brown pants that seemingly appeared out of nowhere taking Ilana by surprise.
"Newton. Nice to meet you." He said greeting the teen in a very intelligent and collected manner offering him a handshake that he accepted.
"Is he a friend of yours?" Kaiden asked.
"Oh, uh, yes he is." She said, greeting the large male. "So, how was your day, Newton?"
"Apparently to the earthlings. I am a...'doofus?'" He answered in a weird tone, but Kaiden shook it off because some people like him spoke in that same manner.
Ilana sighed and looked away. "So am I."
"So, is it a good thing? Newton questioned. "I don't think so." Ilana said.
"It isn't." Kaiden answered.
"What does it mean?" Newton asked, looking at him a bit intrigued.
"Idiot, moron, jackass, trust me, it relates to a lot of insulting words." Kaiden listed off and noticed their moods deflated a bit more. "Look, the first day is kind of always like this. It doesn't matter where you come from and even if you're local you get the same treatment either way. So don't bring yourself down."
Hearing this made the blonde smile. "You know what, you're absolutely right Kaiden. It is only just the beginning."
"Hellooooo!" A sudden voice screamed from behind Kaiden making him jump and turn around to see Jeanne laughing away.
"Is she communicating with us?" Newton asked, looking a bit confused. "I think she's only being playful." Ilana answered as they watched the two interact with one another.
"Jeanne, come on! Knock that crap off!"
"Oh, come on yourself." The red head retorted playfully socking him in the shoulder. "I couldn't resist, plus I was so happy seeing you talk to other people, I figured I add myself in."
"More like a tick that refuses to come off... " Kaiden retorted, still looking mad at her.
Ilana giggled at their interactions. "Is this your sister?"
"Nope, just my annoying cousin." Kaiden answered.
"Who is proud to be just that." Jeanne countered, putting her hands on her hips. "So, you're gonna introduce me?" She sang her question.
"Ilana, Newton, Jeanne. Jeanne, Ilana, and Newton." He introduced them back and forth.
"Interesting choice of wardrobe you have there... " Jeanne commented, eyeing Ilana's clothes glancing at her up and down. "Like to express yourself huh? I can respect that."
"Thank you. Your choice of clothing isn't to half bad either. "
"I know. It's why I wear it." She said proudly showing it off. "I'm glad this isn't one of those schools that make you wear uniforms. Because if it was, I'd be in trouble all the time."
"This took a surprisingly good turn of events." Newton commented, sounding a bit surprised by how the mood changed dramatically.
We now change scenery and a sky that had what appeared to the outlines of a couple planets including a few moons. The area itself was a total war zone, columns of smoke filled the air itself and a once prominent city was now but a shadow of what it was prior not to long ago. Despite the inhabitants' very best efforts they lost and the capital was overtaken.
Rattling chains were heard as we see someone being holstered up in between two stone columns where behind, a large hole showed the ruined city. The one who was imprisoned was a very large muscular man most likely in his middle fifties. His current state showed he had been fighting, from ripped clothes and a bandaged right leg. Not to mention a very prominent hair style much similar to Ilana. This was her father, King Alec and right now he was the prisoner of his home world's sworn enemy.
The Mutraddi were almost reptilian in appearance, a vast majority of them looked like crossbreeds between gorilla's. The creatures all roared out in victory making Alec lift his head glaring at his foes despite the state he was in. "Mutraddi scum...You will pay for this I swear it!"
"I wouldn't count on it. Your majesty." Hearing this voice Alec raised up his head looking to the source of the voice. From a hole a figure emerged and the king's eyes widened in disbelief. "Modula!?"
The one called Modula is a tall man that has a large white beard and a mysterious hat with an eye on it, which covers his own eyes. He also wears a military uniform similar to the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. On top of his uniform is a large, lavish coat that flows in the wind and during combat. He also has large black boots that nearly come-up to his knees with spurs.
"Surprised?" The galalunian questioned in amusement. "Bet you never thought you'd see me again. Hmmm?"
"You?" Alec just couldn't believe this. "You're behind this attack?"
"Of course." He confirmed walking up next to a drooling Mutraddi soldier. "You really didn't think these mindless beasts. Had the skill to overthrow this planet." Modula then began to walk towards the chained king.
"But...you-you died!" Alec exclaimed, still processing this. "I was there! I saw it happen!"
"Well not quite dead." Modula clarified once he got up to Alec's face. "Let's just say after you left me behind."
"Left you!? I-"
"Left. Me. Behind." Modula cut him off. "I was forced to survive, adapt and find a way to reason with the beasts of Mutrad. To stay alive amongst them."
"You died..." Alec was trying to rationalize what transpired that day. "A mutraddi blast killed you...We barely escaped. You can't be Modula!"
"I assure you, I am."
"The real Modula would never turn traitor to his own kind!"
"Once maybe...But no more." Modula smirked. "Amusing how things change like that. Once I was your general...Now I command the whole of the Mutraddi."
"You're delusional."
"Maybe. But I rule Galaluna now." Reaching forward Modula reached for a gold necklace hanging from Alec's neck and yanked it off breaking the chain. He gazed at it, showing a heart, a head and body in the middle. "Heart, body & mind united as one. Oh pathetic." He was very amused finding it ironic that he once held that idiotic belief for years. He then turned around. "Tell me, where's your daughter?"
"I don't know."
"Oh, come now." Modula didn't believe Alec and turned around to face him once again. "You can't expect me to believe that. After all, I can't have heirs to the throne working about and sighting against me and what have you." The single eye on his top hat widened and glowed much to Alex's surprise and horror. "Tell me."
Without much time to react the eye zapped Alec's head making him grit his teeth in pain before a series of images ranging from an explosion and to his last interaction with his daughter. "No, father, I won't go."
The scene changed again showing his daughter entering an escape pod, the reflection of the door showing Alec's sad face of being forced to say goodbye to his child before he was seen entering in a few codes firing a beam up into the sky from the main palace opening a portal.
Alec's eyes widened in shock before lowering his head down in shame. His efforts to try and make sure his daughter was safe was now in vain.
"So, Alec, you finally perfected the rift gate technology."
We cut to see Modula in the same room where Alec was in prior typing at the console. As he did, the eye on his hat glowed. "My pet, I call upon you."
A large clump of fire was seen blazing away and Modula's voice seemingly echoed. "Seek and destroy our enemy." Suddenly the flames gained a pair of eyes. "Awake and fulfill our destiny!"
The fire pillar shot up into the air leaving a crater behind where it slept while from the palace the rift gate was opened and the fire creature slithered around the pillar going into the portal itself.
Moments later they were on their way to the cafeteria.
"So have you found a place to live yet? " Jeanne questioned immediately, sparking a decent conversation with Ilana while Kaiden was with Newton. The only problem was that it was really quiet making it a bit awkward.
"No not yet. We're still looking."
"Well, trust me when I say this, the moment you feel at home, it's the one." Jeanne advised. "But you gotta make sure you're really feeling it. Know what I mean?"
"Oh yes, I agree."
While the girls were talking Kaiden decided to try and talk with Newton. "So...Do you have any hobbies?" Kaiden asked.
"What?"
"Do you have any hobbies?"
"Not very much." Newton answered. "What about yourself?"
"I like watching anime and reading manga."
"What are those?" Newton questioned.
"You've never heard of anime?"
"Nor manga. What are they?"
"Well, manga is a form of comics from Japan and anime is a special kind of cartoon made from the same country. Some of the material is used to help make them."
"So it's a form of entertainment?"
"Yeah."
"Interesting. I'll have to examine this anime and manga when I have available time."
"Do you have a sibling?" Jeanne inquired as they finally arrived at their destination.
"Oh yes, I have a brother. Speaking of which, I hope Lance is having a better day." Ilana said as they reached their destination.
"I don't think so." Newton said as he looked forward.
"What why? " Ilana asked and gasped upon seeing three large jocks looking down on him. "Oh no..."
Jeanne sighed, shaking her head. "Out of all the tables he had to sit in, it had to been Spike's...Talk about major bad luck."
"Who's that?" Newton asked.
"The big muscle head glaring down at him." Kaiden answered as they watched to see how this would unfold before them.
"This table is reserved." Spike said glaring down at the teen in a tone telling him to get the hell out of there. However instead of answering or moving away Lance just kept his gaze focused on the jock keeping his ground. "I said this table is reserved!" Spike yelled out as he slammed his large arms onto the table breaking it in half and causing the food tray to fly into the air. In response Lance jumped into the air and landed over on one Spike's goons. As another was approaching him he got kicked in the face.
'He definitely knows how to fight...' Kaiden commented as he watched him jump into the air and delivered a pile driver to the guy he was on top of. As for Spike, he got kicked right in the face with a sloppy joe sending him flying and landed on a nearby table.
After this, everyone cheered for giving them a good show and standing up for one of their many bullies.
"Well alright, pretty boy's got some moves." Jeanne said as she gave him an applause. "But I'm gonna grab go something." The blue head said as she left the group who then went over to Lance.
Suddenly Koda stopped feeling discomfort from his head.
"It has begun."
"Harden your resolve."
"Prepare for what is to come." Three different voices said, making Kaiden pause and look around. He was sure that he'd heard people talking but couldn't figure out where the source of the voices originated from.
"Weren't we were supposed to keep a low profile?" Ilana asked in an amused tone but then a loud noise was heard shaking the whole school making everyone stop and look outside to see something blazing through the sky and crash land in the forest that was a few miles away from the city.
"Oh no..." Ilana gasped in fear.
"They followed us here?" Lance added with worry in his voice.
"I'm afraid so." Newton confirmed with the trio completely unaware that Kaiden was still right there.
'Wait...followed them?' He looks over to them in confusion. 'What are they- "
"This is Brick Jackson reporting live! " Everyone's attention was turned to a tv showing where the meteor had landed showing fire fighters scrambling around ready to get to work with a male news reporter on the scene. He moves over with the cameraman following his every movement with the fire blazing in the background. "Only moments ago, an apparent meteor slammed down here on the outskirts of this quiet suburban town. Joining me now is fire chief Tom Omaley..." All the sudden the fire shot up into the air, taking them all by surprise. "What the hell is that!? '' Instantly the flames formed into a massive, towering monster roaring away with a helicopter in the air turning to the other direction to avoid it.
Soon enough, the creature began to walk, and Kaiden was completely frozen in shock along with everyone else.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing! It is huge and it is heading for the city!"
"Mutraddi MegaBeast..." Ilana looks over to Lance. "We have to do something!"
"We can't." Lance said. "Were in hiding, remember? We can't-"
"Look at that!" A student cried out diverting their attention back to the screen showing the fire monster beginning to wreak havoc on the city making everyone swarm around the tv to watch.
"I know what my father ordered you to do." Ilana began. "But that thing is here because of me. These people are going to suffer because of me!"
'Because of you? Just who are you, Ilana?' He questioned and looked over to the screen showing the flaming beast.
"I understand. But we have to remain hidden." Lance argued making a valid point. "If we attack, the Mutraddi will know we're here. They'll send more beasts, more soldiers, they won't stop."
"I am afraid I must concur with Lance." Newton agreed. "The risk is too great. We should let the earth defend itself."
Everyone gasped upon seeing the major damage that the fire beast was causing. "I'm sorry, but I can't let this happen." With that the blonde took off running.
"Ilana!" Lance cried out trying to stop her as she ran out of the cafeteria. He tried to catch up to her, but there were to many people rushing inside. "Ilana!" After a brief moment of struggling Lance and Newton went to go catch up to her.
'What's she doing!?' Kaiden was from the helicopters point of view there were already fighter jets in the air firing missiles exploding on impact, but since it was made out of fire it didn't do anything right before it smashed one.
Then out of nowhere a light blue laser beam shot out at the creature getting its attention. The one who fired was someone wearing a feminine gold robotic armor using its thrusters to quickly move around. The fire creature stomped down its foot but missed its target. As for the gold robot it fired off another laser from its forehead slicing it from the leg all the way up to its arm.
The fire creature then reached over to a nearby tall building and slammed it down right on her. Trapped underneath the derbies the fire creature reached out to finish it but was intercepted by another robotic indigo armor appearing to look designed for combat instead of speed. Using a large sword to swat the creature's hands away. On que, another robot appeared. It was definitely different from the other two, it had clear translucent cyan energy with its inner machinery seen through inside taking a humanoid form and began to help out its comrade.
Eventually the creature knocked its small opponent right down onto the ground just in the nick of time because it was now getting blasted by a military artillery strike. The creature still showed it was unaffected by the attacks and released a breath attack on the trio obliterating the area around them as well.
'Something tells me, things are gonna get interesting...' Ryder said to himself before running off so he can get onto the rooftop. The reason why was because he had a feeling he hadn't had in a long time.
As he got onto the roof, he had arrived just on time. Emerging from the flames was a massive humanoid mech with clear translucent armor that showed the insides of its cybernetic body. Its most striking feature was its spartan-like helmet and its glowing yellow eyes.
Upon seeing this, Kaiden stared on in awe along with everyone else. The first thing that came into mind was a giant he had been seeing in his dreams.
'It looks like...' His line of thought was cut short as he watched the flaming creature sent it flying across the ground and charged. In response the mech shot back up on its feet blocking a punch and returned the favor making the creature tumble back.
The fire monster attempted to attack again only for it to be blocked by a shield generated from its arm and proceeded to block. On que it gathered energy and pushed the creature back right into a building.
On the roof of the high school the students were cheering away.
"Yeah!" Jeanne was one of them. "Come on! Kick it's ass! Huh?" They all noticed it getting back up crossing its arms and the flames turning gold. "What's it doing!?"
"Something not good!" Kaiden responded and grabbed her. "Get down!" A massive surge of heat erupted from the monster obliterating a large amount of the city creating a massive crater. However, despite this, the mech was unfazed. Then without warning it sprung right on the machine coating it in fire.
Kaiden narrowed his eyes knowing what it was trying to do. Luckily for him the mech looked into the direction of the ocean and sprang into the air before diving right into the ocean. Making a big splash and a large amount of steam. Moments later the mech emerged from the water and looked for its opponent.
Unknown to them their foe wasn't dead yet and it emerged from the water taking a rock form using its strength to try and crush it. As this happened a large energy blast came out of nowhere hitting them both.
The creature's attention was drawn giving the mech the window of opportunity and broke out of it's grasp. A large sword then materialized slicing across its chest, cut off its arms and the whole monster in half causing it to shatter into a billion pieces. With its foe defeated the sword dematerialized and everyone the roof top was cheering for their savior.
But then the mech began to get attacked by the military making everyone boo as they watched their savior dive into the ocean disappearing to avoid the barrage of tank fire.
"Oh, come on!" Jeanne complained and yelled out as loud as she could while other students were booing. "What was that!? They saved us, you assholes! What did you chumps do!?" She growled in frustration kicking a random bucket over.
Later on that day
After the mech disappeared Kaiden sighed in relief as he plopped onto the couch, the reason why was because everyone was able to go home early for the day because of the major event that unfolded today. Noticing someone was missing, he looked over and saw his cousin looking out the window.
"Jeanne? Something the matter?" Kaiden went up next to her, she smiled appreciating his concern.
"Nah, I'm okay...But I've been thinking..."
"About what? "
"Just bear with me for a second here...But, didn't that robot kind of remind you of Ultraman?" Hearing this surprised him he never thought he'd hear this question. "I mean, what do you think?"
Kaiden shrugged at that question. "I think so."
"You get where I'm going with this right?"
"Well, yeah. He came out of nowhere and started protecting the earth from monsters and aliens. Just like the robot."
"But this has got to be a sign or something though. When the kaiju appeared, so did others. I think we're gonna enter another age of monsters again."
"There's been well over seventeen years of peace and no kaiju activity. I'm sure we'll be able to manage. Plus, it looks like we got another hero to help us out." With those words said Kaiden walked up the stairs.
"I'm gonna go to bed."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, well good night then. "
"Night." Kaiden replied back as he got up the stairwell and entered into his room dropping like a rock onto his bed. As he did so, Kaiden wasn't aware that something had suddenly materialized onto his desk giving off a bright glow.
Then at the same time four transparent figures emerged hovering around Kaiden. Each one extending out an arm forming into small balls of light. The energy was absorbed into the teens sleeping body.
At the same time underneath the Pacific Ocean the earth started to shake and then the bottom of the ocean floor cracked open into a massive trench. Pretty soon, a pair of glowing yellow eyes was seen piercing through the darkness. This was a sign that something awakened from its long slumber emitting an ear-piercing shriek that sounded akin to giggles.
