The sun is shining bright on konoha as a young boy walks through the streets of the village. The boy is wrapped in heavy cloth and hooded so all that is seen is his mouth from the shadows of the hood. He is wearing a dark gray coat that hangs to his knees and long pants covering him from hip to ankle. The boy is wearing dark sunglasses that shade his eyes and he is currently walking towards the ninja academy. He has a backpack adorning the back of his body and he is softly buzzing as he walks. The boy is named william aburame, he is the youngest son of three and has a hive of kikaichu beetles living in his body. He is the carrier of these beetles due to the symbiotic relationship between the clan members and the beatles. The beatles live in the flesh of the host and feed on their chakra, in return the beatles follow the orders of the host. This allows them to control the beatles and use various techniques based around the beatles. The boy enters the building and speaks to the secretary before he walks to the classroom he is assigned to. Number three hundred and one. The boy enters the classroom and walks to the back of the room before sitting at his desk and pulling out a book on various insects.
This is where our story begins.
William reads his book and takes notes on interesting insects as the classroom fills with children. He groans from the noise and calms his beetles down before two people sit next to him. The people pull out notebooks as well and then turn to william.
"Hey! Im sam! What's your name?" a boy asks from William's right.
Sam has shoulder length orange hair and bright blue eyes. He has a charming smile and a happy demeanor. He is clad in shorts with small foxes on it and a shirt with a leaf symbol on the back. He is leaning back in his chair like a delinquent.
"I am william aburame. Nice to meet you sam." William replied calmly.
Sam pouts at William's calm voice. He is interrupted by the voice of the boy sitting on William's left.
"My name is Jake hyuuga. Why are you reading a book about bugs?" the pale boy asks.
Jake is wrapped in long cloth robes and has bloodshot eyes. He has long brown hair that is tied in a ponytail unlike the wild spikes of Sam's hair.
"I am researching what my secondary hive should be. Currently I am tempted to host moths so I can make silk for clothing. My clan members believe this to be a good idea due to our control over the silk production in this village. Although honey bees would have a much higher profit margin. Honey is used in a large amount of foods and is in very high demand. I don't know if this would be a good idea. Two queens in one host have been known to fight on occasion." William calmly states.
"Wait. Do you have bugs?! Inside you!?" Sam demands loudly.
"Yes. My clan uses beetles that we host inside our bodies. The beetles feed on our chakra and we are able to command them in combat in return." William answers.
Sam shudders and the trio turn to look at the teacher. A man named Iruka introduces himself and asks for the class to be quiet.
"Alright. Hello class. Today is going to be a light day. First we shall work on introductions then we will unlock your chakra. Afterwards we will give you a set of practice weapons so you can start training with them. Any questions?" Iruka asks.
"What's chakra?" a pink haired girl asks.
"Good question. Chakra is the combination of physical and spiritual energies. Chakra is used for all ninja techniques. Can anyone give me an example of a technique?" iruka explains as he writes on the blackboard behind him. He turns to the class as he asks his question.
"Great fireball technique." suggest a dark haired boy in blue clothing with a red and white fan on the back of his shirt.
"Very good. First you use chakra to create fire in your lungs then you spit out the fire in the shape of a ball. I know you would think that anyone could do this technique but you would be wrong. Chakra isn't naturally fire. Chakra is naturally sitting in your body and has to be told what to do. This is called chakra control and is essential for any ninja. It doesn't matter if you're an academy student or a jonin level ninja. Chakra control is essential for all ninjas and the better your control the better you will be." iruka explains and continues writing on the blackboard.
"Teacher! Why does William have bugs inside him?!" Sam asks loudly.
"Amazing question! William is a member of the aburame clan and uses beetles as his main form of attack. The beetles eat his chakra and in return he is given the ability to command them. William will have naturally better chakra control than most of you due to his beetles eating the majority of his chakra. This however is balanced by his reliance on his beetles. Most aburame don't use ninjutsu like other ninjas. Now. he will be very good at surveillance or espionage."iruka writes on the blackboard as he explains.
Everyone is taken to a field and they all sit down. Iruka then goes to each person and some kids are helped by teenagers that are in a higher class than them. Each child unlocks their chakra before being told a basic chakra control exercise. You take a leaf and hold it on your forehead with your chakra. As the children progress there are a few children with explosive results.
Sam unlocks his chakra and the grass starts to wilt from the heat he produces. The assistant grabs his shoulder and quickly lets go with a burned hand. Iruka walks over and checks on Sam before he looks awed. He is already producing enough chakra for a chunin level ninja! Sam smiles at this information before he is told that his chakra control will be worse as a result of his large reserves. Sam pouts as he struggles to stick a leaf to his forehead. Next there is a blonde boy named Naruto uzumaki.
Naruto unlocks his chakra and it sends out a shockwave that causes a few people to stumble. Iruka gets to his feet and scowls. The boy is producing enough to rival a kage. Iruka scowls as he marches over.
"Naruto! I said "unlock your chakra! Not push out so much you disrupt class!" iruka snaps.
Naruto pouts and protests before iruka sends him to the classroom and tells naruto to write on the board what he did wrong. William raises an eyebrow and stands up from his sitting position.
"Teacher. Naruto did unlock his chakra. My beetles are telling me that his chakra was dormant before and now it is active." William informs iruka.
"The brat did unlock his chakra but he decided to push it out as hard as he could instead of reigning it in." iruka explains.
William goes back to his spot in the grass and ponders the information he has gained. Why did Naruto get in trouble for doing the same thing as the others? Is he in trouble for having more chakra than everybody else? That doesn't make sense. Shouldn't the teacher be helpful instead of rude to the boy? These thoughts swirl in William's head as he follows the class back to the room. Everyone is handed a set of 10 rubber kunai and 20 rubber shuriken that they are told to practice with before everyone is sent home. Naruto is not given any practice weapons however. William notices this and ponders the blatant anger towards the boy.
William arrives home and greets his father before he walks to the office of the clan head. A knock is greeted with a command to enter and William obeys before bowing to the clan head.
"May I ask you a question lord shibi?" william requests.
"What is your question?" shibi asks. He doesn't look up from the paperwork he is signing.
"Why would the teachers be rude to a child? A boy named Naruto Uzumaki unlocked his chakra with us today and he had enough for a kage. However, he was reprimanded by the teacher and when we were given practice kunai and shuriken, the teacher didn't give any to naruto. Why?" William asks with confusion in his voice.
Shibi looks up and sends his beetles to close the door before he walks over and kneels in front of the child in his office. Shibi looks the child in the eyes as he speaks.
"The boy is the container of a powerful beast and the teacher knows this. The boy is most likely hated because he contains something that hurts our village. I want to know. What do you think of the boy now that you know this about him?" shibi says all of this with a firm tone.
"Now I am even more confused. We contain beetles that harm people yet we are not hated. Shouldn't the village appreciate the boy for locking up something so dangerous?" William tilts his head to show his confusion.
Shibi smiles softly and nods to show he agrees. Shibi tells the boy to keep this knowledge to himself so that others don't hate the boy for his burden and William nods in acceptance. The boy walks away and begins to practice his aim with the fake weapons as he continues to think on the new information.
