Chapter 1: Nightmares
Screams. Crying. Sobbing. All the people I've failed to save. I turn around, and see all of my classmates on the floor. Dead. Bloody. Quirks gone. I hear laughing, and I turn around, to see All For One standing beside me. "Your next." I hear those words come from his mouth. He lunges, and I wake up. I jerk awake, and I'm shaking. I look around, and see that I am on the couch. No dead people. Whew. I'm safe. I look at my watch to see that it is 7:34. "Are you okay?" I hear a voice coming from my left. I look to see Uraraka. "W-what are you doing here?" I ask. She smiles. "You fell asleep, so I decided to watch you." "Did you stay awake the whole night?" I ask. "Not the whole night, but a lot of it." I sit back down. "You didn't have to do that." She shrugs. "I wanted to make sure you are okay. And I was right. Was it a nightmare?" I nod slowly, thinking about the dream. "I….I shouldn't be here." I say. "Being here will put all of you in danger!" She sighs. "Deku. We talked about this yesterday." "I know, bu-!" She shushes me. "You realize you can't do this forever, right? You need us, and we need you." "I know….just…..whatever." She looks at me, then looks away. "Besides from the nightmare, did you have a good sleep?" I nod. "Good, because Nezu wants us to patrol." I groan. I saw this coming, but I really didn't want this to happen. "Sorry." She says. "But you know better than everyone that there are many villains still on the loose." I nod. "All right. Is it just me and you?" She shakes her head. "Todoroki will be joining us as well." I nod. "Okay, let me put my clothes on." She nods, and walks away. I think about leaving for a second, but then decide not to. I take my night clothes off and put on my hero costume. I join Uraraka and Todoroki at the exit. Todoroki nods, and we leave to go patrol.
