On Sunday, August 24, the McMahon celebrate Vince's 69th Birthday and Jax's 9th Birthday with a Barbecue at Stephanie and Jack's house. Everyone who was invited showed up at the house for the party. All the kids played with the inflatable water slide and the kiddie pool while the adults sat around talking and watching the kids play.
Sabrina and Stephanie walked out of the backyard to the car,, and got in with Sabrina behind the wheel. She slid the key ignition, turned it, started the car, and then buckled her seatbelt. Sabrina turned the wheel and then drove down the circular driveway toward the iron gates; when she reached the gates open, she drove out and sped off toward the supermarket.
"What did you buy Cristian for his birthday next month, Brie?" Stephanie asked her twin.
"I brought him a cute little Yankees jersey with McMahon on it, and then I got him his favorite Yankee jersey, Derek Jeter," Sabrina replied.
Stephanie chuckles, "Derek Jeter is everyone's favorite Yankees player."
"Yes, so true, Steph," Sabrina chuckles, pulling up to the supermarket, parking the car in front of the store, turning the key, shutting off the engine, and then pulling the key out of the ignition.
Sabrina and Stephanie unbuckled their seatbelts, opened the door, stepped out of the car, and closed the doors behind them. Sabrina set the alarm on her car, walked around it, and walked into the supermarket with her twin. Sabrina grabbed a shopping cart, shopped for more things for the BBQ, and grabbed diapers for Victoria and baby wipes.
"You know, Steph, in two years, Mom, and Dad will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary."
"I know Brie. I was thinking about that this morning," Stephanie said.
"We need to get together with our brothers and discuss what we will do for them, it special Wedding anniversary."
"Yes, when we return to my house, we will sit with our brothers and discuss that."
Stephanie and Sabrina headed for the checkout, and then Sabrina paid for the items, as Stephanie placed the items into the bags, and then pushed the shopping cart of the supermarket toward Sabrina's jaguar. Sabrina unlocked the trunk, opened it, helped Stephanie place the bags into it, and closed it. Sabrina and Stephanie got in the car and then buckled their seatbelt.
Sabrina slid the key into the ignition, turned it, started the car, pulled out of the parking spot, and then drove back to Stephanie and Jack's house. Stephanie called Vincent and told him to get Shane to meet them in front of the house. Sabrina turned the corner, drove down the block to the house, and then turned into the driveway, the gates open, and drove through them, up the circular driveway to the house. Sabrina came to stop in front of the house, and saw her brothers there waiting on them. Stephanie unbuckled her seatbelt, then Sabrina unbuckled her seatbelt, opened the door,, stepped out of the car, and stepped out of the car. They closed the doors and walked to the back of the vehicle, where Sabrina opened the trunk, and Shane and Vincent grabbed some bags.
Stephanie grabbed a bag, and Sabrina grabbed the final bag, and then closed the trunk. They walked toward the house, up the stairs to the porch, and over to the front door, where Stephanie pulled out her keys, slid the key into the locks, turnkey unlocking the door, opened the door, then entered the house, followed by Sabrina, Shane and Vincent who close the door behind them. The four of them walked toward the kitchen, entered, placed the bags on the island, and then took the items out of the bags.
"Now, Vinny and Shane, Brie, and I were discussing that in two years Is Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary, and we need to throw them a 50th wedding anniversary party."
"Okay, where through?"
"I will talk with my mother-in-law about using the Jorge Greek restaurant for a party."
"Okay, we need to ask Dad if he plans anything for him and Mom."
"Good idea, Shane," Stephanie said, walking over to the sliding door and sliding open the screen, then open the sliding door.
"Excuse me, Dad?" Stephanie said as Vince turned to see his daughter.
"Yes, princess," Vince replied
"Can I see you for a moment?" Stephanie asked of her father, who was talking with her father-in-law.
"Sure, princess. Excuse me," Vince Sr. said.
Jacob smiled at his daughter-in-law as Vince entered the house, and Stephanie closed the door, then the screen door.
"What's up, princess?" Vince asked, seeing his three other children in the house.
"Well, we have some questions for you," Stephanie replied
"Okay"
"Well, in two years is your and Mom's 50th wedding anniversary, and we were wondering if you are planning on taking Mom anything to celebrate the special occasion?" Sabrina asked
Vince looked at his children and wondered what are they up to, "as of right now, I haven't made any arrangements to take your mom somewhere to celebrate that special wedding anniversary. I am curious, though; why are you asking about that anniversary now?"
"Well, we want to take you and Mom out for that anniversary to celebrate," Vincent Jr. said.
"Fair enough, but I might be taking your mom on a fourth honeymoon after we celebrate with family and friends."
Sabrina, Stephanie, Vincent, and Shane chuckle.
"Perfect, Dad; Sabrina can ask her mother-in-law about the family-owned Greek restaurant's private dining room."
The sliding door opened, and everyone rushed in quickly as it started to pour.
"What a way to ruin my and grandpa's birthday," Jax said.
"Jax, you cannot fight with Mother Nature," Grandpa Vince said.
Well, seeing that we are all inside, let's have birthday cake," Stephanie said as the kids jumped up and down.
"Yay!" the kids yell as the adults chuckle.
The kids headed out of the kitchen toward the dining room, inside, and sat at the dining room table. Stephanie and Jack took the birthday cake while the rest of the adults walked out of the kitchen and headed for the dining room to check on the kids. The adults entered the dining room to see the kids sitting at the table waiting for ice cream cake. Vince sat next to Jax as Stephanie and Jack walked into the dining room with birthday cake, and everyone sang.
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday, dear, Grandpa and Jax
Happy Birthday to you
Everyone snaps pictures of Vince and Jax blowing out the candle. Stephanie handed her dad a knife, and then Jaxc put his hand on the knife. Vince and Jax cut the first two pieces of birthday cake.
