Chapter 39
Later that night…
There was quite a group.
Sukuna smirked as he found a good majority of sorcerers he asked to join him for a drink, obliged!
He didn't think anyone would want to share a drink with him and yet, here they sat. He took a table from one of the dining halls and set it up outside. From there, he chilled the booze and had glasses at the ready. He invited the curse wombs, Six Eyes, Shellboy, Toshi, the brat, knockoff, the suit and heavenly restrictions dragon.
He was surprised that everyone showed but Choso. "He's brooding" the brothers explained.
"Still?! He was brooding the last time I check!" Sukuna protested. "He hasn't stopped has he?"
The brothers shook their heads. "He's determined to help all the little ones Rhea had saved over the past few thousand years…" Eso said. "But, we don't know just how many she has saved…"
"Blah, blah, blah, shut up and drink!" Sukuna protested.
It was a rather odd atmosphere. Everyone did drink, even Toji! However, there wasn't much in the way of conversation.
"This is as lively as a funeral… and being me, you know how I know how lively those are, right? Since I caused most of them back in the day…" he said aloud.
Everyone paused and stared at him oddly. "Are you seriously hosting this to get to know people?!" demanded the knockoff. "Since when did you give a shit?"
He forced a smirk. Sukuna then reached for a bottle of Vodka and drank it straight!
Everyone froze as he drank nearly half the bottle before his face turned beet red. "This… is… DRUNK!?" he asked with amazement. "Oh man… this feels… weird… URP!" he said aloud.
"Uh… okay…" muttered the brat.
But then, Sukuna glared at the knockoff. "Hey… hey… knockoff!" he said in a slurred tone. "I… I finally figured out my favor!"
This made the table pause. "Within reason?" he demanded.
"Depends…" Sukuna said offhandedly. "I want you to marry me!"
"Out of reason," came from the table.
"Nah, nah, nah… I want you… to marry me… I want you to make a wedding for me… but… I want a wedding worthy of a Tooru!"
This made everyone freeze, Toshi who appeared buzzed as well peered at Sukuna oddly. "You want Suiryu to officiate and plan a wedding for you?" he asked.
"YEAH!" he decreed. "I want a wedding, but I know if I asked for a wedding… worthy of me… it would be SHIT!" he said through his slurred speech. "I… I want a wedding… worthy of a Tooru! Since I am marrying a Tooru… EvEryOne kEeps CalLiNg her… my WIFE… but… I haVeN't mARriEd her… I NeEd To!" he protested.
Then, the world got a little blurry. "I go night-night now…" he fell face first into the table and passed out then and there…

THUD
Just as Sukuna passed out on the table… so did Toshi.
"Whoa, since when did Toshi pass out like that?" Suiryu asked aloud.
"Long day at the brewery." Said Suguru. But he was peering at Sukuna who was out cold, his face a beet red as he was knocked out drunk. Turning to Satoru, Suguru was stunned as he downed a full bottle of fireball whiskey! He finished it in a single sitting and even burped fire afterwards!
"Huh, not bad, good bite to this… nice burn when it goes down…"
"You drank that?!" demanded Yuuji. "Sensei, you can't hold your liquor!"
Gojo smirked as he dangled the empty bottle before Itadori. "Apparently I can, let's see what else there is…"
Suguru smirked as a drinking contest was soon forged!
But with what was said earlier…
"Hey, Suiryu… are you going to fulfill the favor?" he asked.
Suiryu considered it, it was within reason and yet, he didn't appear all that interested in doing so. "How do we pull that off?" he asked. "Not to mention, a wedding worthy of a Tooru? That's a tall order. How do you make it worthy of a Tooru?"
He had a point, at the same time. "If anything, envision it as if it were a wedding for Yua." Suguru explained. Suiryu froze oddly as he turned and peered at him. "I think we can pull this off, and if anything, we do this tomorrow, imagine HIS surprise." He said and hooked his thumb to Sukuna. "He's drunk, he won't remember asking this, right? Wouldn't this be a great opportunity to freak him out?"
Suiryu, was suddenly inspired. "Excuse me…" he took out his phone and left the table.
He smirked as Suiryu departed, however, was caught in a side gaze from Satoru. "You're up to something…" Satoru said bluntly. "I know that look."
"Guilty," he said and smiled rather warmly at the notion. "In fact, Chusi has brought it up often when she trained me. How much she wants to be Sukuna's wife, and yet, he has been dragging his feet and hesitating. Apparently, they were suppose to get married when he returned from battle… but we all know what happened when he did return…"
The table nodded. "So, why help them get hitched?" Toji asked.
"She wanted to be married in this lifetime. I think she deserves her happiness, at the same time… have we truly not considered the implications if Sukuna were to wed a woman who knows how to restrain him?"
It was quite at the table, but then nods were given. "Never thought about THAT part," muttered Noranso. "At the same time, is it really a good idea? Considering she wants to bare Sukuna's children?"
Suguru knows he can't make that call.
"If she was brought back for a reason, I say let it play out." Said Toji. "Tiamat made this agreement with Sukuna, full heartedly and knew who to bring back to be his wife. Chusi loves him for who he is, not his power. Even now, it goes to show, he has no curse energy but she could give a damn about it." Toji then took a swig of beer, he paused and tasted it a little more. "Huh, malty… not my thing… anyways. Considering their past, I think this is a good idea. Chain him down now or he runs loose later…"
That's… one way of putting it.
Suiryu came back a short time later, he was licking his lips oddly before he turned to the table. "So, who is going to be my distractor?" he asked.
Suguru smirked. "I'll do it," he said.
"Suguru?!" the table asked in shock.
"They have both been training me, so I have a way in. Not to mention I have a good understanding of the two of them, I think I can bide you enough time to set up…"
Suiryu was grinning wickedly now. "Oh? How so?"
He smiled as he peered over to Satoru. "I'm going to have them demonstrate to me what it means to be a good husband. So, I need first hand experience as to what I need to know when I join the Tooru family… simple!" he said.
Satoru on the other hand was gritting his teeth. "I swear to the gods if they keep pushing this idea of YOU being Yua's second husband…" he growled.
"At the moment, I can use it to our advantage. How long do you need?"
"At the most, five hours. But, I need you to get them to a specific store. And you need to get them there by four in the afternoon, understood?!" Suiryu demanded.
"I'll do my best, tell me the store."
