A Hero's Life Reboot EP 13: It came from the bog.
I don't own anything except my OCs.
In a small village in Southern England, a man and his daughter were entering the library. "Now, don't stray out of my sight, Nelly. I don't want to you get lost in here." But the girl merely stuck her tongue out at his back and ran off, all while the father was busy returning books.
As the girl wanders around the place, she notices a shine from a book, fascinated by it. She used a stool to grab it down, looking at it with a naughty smirk. It was an old tome with a picture of a tall, lanky creature with red eyes. The girl notices the key and giggles with a grin, unlocking it, but is stunned as the eyes glow red.
The book flies open as the girl falls off on her bottom, gazing at the book as it flips wildly, stopping as a giant shadow emerges, towering over the frightened girl as she looks up in terror. The being has long claws, red glowing eyes, and a muzzle-like mouth with sharp fangs. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! FREE AT LAST!" "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The girl screeches out in horror as the father and Liberian are stunned by it.
Intro:
The screen is black, only for a bolt of green lightning to make a flash of white light as upbeat music is heard.
Ben stands as he is smirking at the camera as a black with green bubbles background is behind the tween, making the boy raise both his arms, show off his new Omnitrix, and then slap down with a grin, making a flash of light.
"BEN 10!"
"He's a kid and he wants to have fun!"
Upgrade with hands on hips appears as a close-up of his face shows up in the background as a bolt of lightning comes down.
Big Chill flies across and freezes as the same thing happens to Swampfire, leaping out of an explosion.
"But when you need a superhero, he gets the job done!"
"BEN 10!"
Shock Rock smashes his fists together, sending out electricity waves affecting the 4th wall.
"With A device that he wears on his arm."
"He can change his shape and save the world from harm!"
Ben poses with his Omnitrix, just as headshots of Shock Rock, Water Hazard, Big Chill, and Swampfire show up, one-by-one.
Rath was staring at Grey Matter, who hopped along a bunch of platforms with the watch symbol on it while the tiger alien was confused before it turned into rage as he held his head in anger.
"When trouble's taking place."
Ben was then running towards the screen.
"He gets right in its face!"
"BEN 10!"
Humungousaur, Slapback, Fasttrack and Upgrade's headshots show up as well!
A green circuit board background is shown as 5 aliens show up in a row while Ben is staring at the 4th wall as his right side is shown. The aliens are Shock Rock, Fasttrack, Rath, Swampfire, and 4 Slapbacks.
"When lives are on the line."
The same thing happens with his left side as more aliens appear. The aliens are now: Big Chill, Water Hazard, Grey Matter, Humungosaur, and Upgrade, which is still in normal form.
"It's hero time!"
"BEN 10!"
It ends with Ben and Alex, standing side to side with crossed arms and smirks as well as Normie and Madison on Ben's side and Sam and Clover on Alex's side the title appears above.
In the skies above England, The Omni-Copter was flying back from a trip to Japan. "You know, when you said that there's an emergency in Japan, you 2, I was expecting some baddie with an evil plan. Not waiting in line for 2 hours for a game you could have got back home!" Maddie frowns at Ben and Normie. "Hey! The Japanese version has some cool things the U.S. version doesn't!" Normie spoke back. "Besides, we did stop some bad guys. Those bank robbers will think twice before messing with Slapback!" Ben smirks as he leans back with his hands behind his head.
"Except you did everything while we didn't even make a move..." Maddie mumbled out as the alien kid noticed. "What do you mean?" Ben wonders out. "Well, to be honest, dude. We feel more like sidekicks, compared to you. We never get to do anything to help!" Normie spoke out with a frown. "What?! No way! You guys are my friends! You do help! Look! How about the time you... Or the time... Okay! What about..." Ben tries to think of something, trying to find a good example to set his point as Maddie and Norman just stared with raised eyebrows, waiting for an answer.
But just then, a warning light flashes on the dashboard, making them glance at a low fuel warning. "'Low fuel?' That can't be right." Ben spoke in confusion as they quickly settled down on a country plan. "I don't understand. How can we be out of gas already?" Ben asks out. "I don't know. Maddie, you refueled the copter, right?" Normie asks as the girl looks blankly at them in response. "What?" "Don't you remember? It was your turn to refuel the copter from last time."
Just then, the girl's eyes widened at Ben's words, flashing back to when was supposed to refuel the transport, but ignored it to hang out with Megan, doing tween-girl stuff. Maddie grins sheepishly as she chuckles with sweat dripping from her head. "Uh…. I had homework to do?" The boys got annoyed at her and groaned out, flopping back in annoyance. "Great! Now we can't get home!" Ben sighs out.
Maddie felt bad and decided to type on a computer, hoping to find a gas station when instead she spotted a small village. "Hey! There's a village just a drive away. Maybe they can help us out?" "Well, it's better than nothing, I guess." Normie shrugs as Ben walks out of the cockpit. "Might as well." He spoke out as they all made it towards the back. Ben pushed a panel, making the floor glow a green Omnitrix symbol before the floor parts, revealing the Omni-Buggy as it rose.
They got in as the green-eyed boy started the buggy up. The ramp opens as they drive off, heading out as the ramp closes behind them. The buggy zoomed as it drove through the country road, heading straight towards the small town.
But as the kids arrived, they noticed no one was in the streets as it was getting late. "That's weird. You think a small town would at least have a couple of people out?" Ben comments as Normie speaks out with a stunned look. "What if a ghost came and took over the whole town!?" "A ghost? Get real! There's got to be a more real explanation for this." Maddie huffs out after flicking the blonde's forehead as the pre-teen growls back. They eventually pulled up to a Library.
"Why are we at this snooze fest?" "To get answers, duh!" Madison snapped back at the blonde as they went inside. As the trio went in, they noticed a very worried man. "Uh, excuse us?" He turned around and was surprised by a trio of 11-year-olds. "Can you help us? We're trying to find the nearest gas station." "Why would children be looking for a gas station? Come to think of it, where are your parents? You're not supposed to be out late."
"It's kind of complicated..." Ben speaks out as he rubs his neck. Just then, Normie glanced at the side and was stunned by what he saw. "Uhh…. Did the janitor forget to clean here?" "No. Why?" The man responds as Normie points at a section of books that has green, slimy goo dripping from the books and shelves. "EW! What is that?!" Madison screeches out as Ben gets a closer look. "Whoa... Did some set off a slime bomb for a prank?"
The kids got closer as Normie spouted out. "What if this is the remains of the ghost I mention?! I mean, it's probably ectoplasm!" "Normie. I think you've been watching too many horror movies." Maddie frowns with crossed arms as Ben speaks out. "Maybe it is! I fought a ghost before." The girl sighs as she gets out her laptop and opens it, pushing a few keys to make a test tube pop out, making her take it and unscrew the lid. "Let's try doing things the science way, boys. Before we jump to any crazy theories, okay?" She then uses the sample stick to get some and places it back in, scanning it.
"Let's see….. Analyzing…. Got it! It says that It's bog goo. See? No ghost." The girl smirks. "Bog Goo? That's weird. Are there any bogs nearby?" Ben asks the man as he responds. "No! The strange thing is this has never happened until my Nelly is missing." The kids were confused as the man explained. "My daughter, she's about a couple of years younger than you. I told her not to stray out of sight, but she did! I heard her scream and she vanished."
Normie leans his hand against another shelf, unaware of a small chest being toppled on top. "I'm telling you guys: A ghost is responsible for this! How else can you explain the—" CLONK Normie's eyes became swirls as a huge-sized bump rested on his head while moaning on the floor. "Dude! Are you okay?!" "Yes, mom…. I would like another pancake pizza with dancing candies…." Normie was dazed out as he answered Ben while Maddie spoke out with worry. "He'll be fine, I think." Ben notices the chest. "What's this?" He opens it to see a large book that has about 300 pages. It is red and has the symbol of an Eyeball on a star that has a silver and grey tone in the center.
"This is the strangest book I've ever seen. And I've seen real spell books." Ben comments as Maddie asks the man as Normie slowly recovers. "Do you know what kind of book this is?" "No…. No one in this village has ever seen that book or chest at all!" But as the kids gazed at the book, they heard a scream from outside!
"Come on! We'll take the book for later!" Both Ben and Maddie lifted the heavy book and rushed out while the man went off to get some help. Normie got his bearings together as he rubbed his head, only to notice a book on the floor. Picking it up, he noticed that it was covered in slime the most. But as he gazes at it, he does not know that 2 glowing red eyes are behind him in the shadows. Quickly looking back, he finds nothing as he decides to run outside, getting a creeped-out feeling from the place.
He reunites with the others to find a sobbing woman near a fountain, making them go up to her. "Miss! Are you okay?" Maddie asked out as the woman responded. "I told my Ian that he wasn't allowed to leave the house. But he didn't listen to me! And now that thing has stolen him away!" Just then, a figure rushed by as a scream got their attention. "Help me!" Ian cries as a wooden creature drags him off at high speeds. "A Ghost! I told you so!" "Gloat later, Rescue now!" The boys rushed off as Maddie spoke to the woman. "Don't worry. We'll get your kid back." The girl follows as well.
The trio tried to keep up with the monster, but it was faster than he looked. "Okay. He can outrun us, but he can't outrun Fasttrack!" The boy grins as he dials his speedster. "It's hero time!" FLASH Ben stumbles and lands face first on the ground, groaning as he rubs his head and looks at himself. "Gravattack? I wanted speed, not size!" The big guy groans out as he stands up and keeps chasing, despite his large size.
They had just rounded a corner when they gasped at a green, glowing hole in the ground that was shrinking. "Whoa! What's that?!" They gathered around it as it was as small as a foot. "Some sort of portal! Like the one, Ben used to get to our world! Man, this is so cool! I heard of Space-Time holes! But I never thought I would see one!" Normie fans out as Maddie asks. "How do you know about this?" "I saw a bunch of them in these cool paranormal comics!" The girl sweatdrop with a deadpan look as a Chibi of a monkey that looks like Normie dances in the background. "Figures."
The alien spoke out, getting their attention. "Either way, we still have no clue what is going on." As the trio ponders, the blonde remembers something as he fishes out the book. "Maybe not! I found this back at the library." "Hey… a clue! Nice job!" Maddie phrases out as the alien grabs it. Unfortunately, Gravattack's large hands make it hard to grasp the key dangling from it. "Come on… Stupid, giant rock hands." Luckily, he managed to time out. "Note to self: Gravattack's fingers are not good for grabbing really small things..." Ben grumbles out.
He wipes the slime off to see the title. "'Tale of the Boogeyman'? Please! That's just some made-up creature grown-ups used to scare little kids into behaving!" Normie adds Madison's statement. "Yeah! Even I find this stupid, guys." Ben opens the book and turns a few pages, noticing something of interest. "I wouldn't be so sure. Look at what the main character is doing."
They both gazed at the picture, showing a shadow monster, kidnapping a group of kids. "No way! He's stealing kids! Just like from the village!" "Yep! And dragging them back to his evil bog dimension. To keep them as prisoners for eternity!" Ben responds to Maddie. "So… the Boogeyman is real and he's stealing kids?! But why now of all times!?" Normie asked as Ben responded. "I don't know. But I have the feeling that the red book we found has something to do with this. Let's head back and find out more about our bad guy!"
As the trio headed back to the Buggy and the book, something was spying on them from the shadows. As they pass by an alleyway, Maddie stops as she gazes at the darkness, and can't help but feel something is watching her. Noticing she's falling behind, she rushes ahead, unaware of something moving out of the shadows, and narrows his red eyes at the girl. "Guys… I'm getting the feeling we're not alone."
"Oh? Maybe it's the monster on the loose. LIKE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU!" Normie yells at the girl as they both butted heads as Ben sighs out in annoyance. But the boy hero notices some family and kids locking their doors and windows for the night. Ben notices something off. "Why are other kids still here?" "Huh?" Both look at the changeling boy with blinking eyes.
"This monster is stealing kids, right? So, why did he only grab 2 when he could have gotten every kid in town at once?" Both of his friends realized that and started thinking. "Maybe those 2 borrowed money from the monster?" The chibi deadpan forms of his friends zoomed past behind him as the blonde boy got annoyed. "I don't see you 2 coming up with something!" He turns back and huffs with crossed arms.
Ben and Maddie got to pondering, unaware of something monstrous approaching them as the boy asked out. "Okay… What do the 2 kids have in common for the monster to take them?" "Well… Nelly was at the library when she was taken, and Ian was captured near the fountain. Ian's mom said he left the house. And Nelly's father told us she wandered off when she vanished." Ben suddenly had a realization! As Normie and Maddie look at him, the shadow approaches behind the blonde boy. "Wait a sec! Didn't Ian's mom say she told him not to leave the house but did anyway?! And Nelly's father told her not to leave his sight, which she did! That's the connection: They did something bad!"
"You're right! This 'Boogeyman' only targets bad kids! That's why he hasn't gone after the others! He's waiting for them to do something bad!" Normie notices something behind him and looks up, only to be stunned by a giant red-eyed figure towering over them. The being is as big as Quad Brawl! It has a lanky body made of wood with leaves around its neck, taking the form of a tree with a face. Its long arms have 4 sharp, long raking claws. Its face is long with pointed ears, sharp teeth 3 branches on its forehead, and red glowing eyes. The being gave a toothy grin as it waved hello.
Normie got a freaked-out look while being petrified with terror! He squeaks as he taps on Maddie's shoulder as she ponders out. "Hmm... Now where will the Boogeyman strike next?" The boy kept tapping on her and Ben's shoulders rabidly, getting their attention with annoyance. "What is it now, Normie?!" Ben frowns at the blonde kid as he gestures behind with his thumb. The other 2 kids notice as well with wide eyes.
"Ben…. Please tell us the watch is recharged." Maddie squeaks out as the boy tries to activate and slaps down on the Omnitrix but keeps getting a dying beep. "Nope!" "Don't worry! I got an idea!" Normie spoke out and turned to the 2 and cried out. "RUN AWAY!" On cue, the trio screams and makes a run for it as the monster laughs and chases after them.
This goes on for a while until Ben ducks behind a corner, catching his breath as he gazes around to see nothing, making him sigh in relief. "AAAAAHHHHHHHH!" The boy flew his eyes open as he looked back and was stunned to see the Boogeyman grabbing Madison and Normie and sinking into a portal. "Oh, no! Not this time!" He rushes out with a glare. "Let my friends go!" He cries as he dives in after the 3. Ben fell for quite a bit and landed on his back on dry land.
The boy groans as he comes to and sits up, noticing the creepy, swamp-like place he has entered. "Whoa…. What is this place?" He spoke in awe as he stood up. He then heard some splashes as he got on the defensive, but relaxed when Normie and Maddie appeared out of the mist. "Man… are we glad to see you, Ben! That monster was quicker and stronger than he looked. Luckily, we managed to kick him in the face, so he could let go when we got here." Normie explains.
Maddie then takes the book out of her backpack as she explains. "As for this place. Look! This is the Boogeyman's world!" She gestures to the picture of the monster's home. "Got it! Which leaves the million-dollar question: Where's the monster himself?" The alien shape-shifting boy asked as they all gazed around their creepy and scary environment, keeping their eyes peeled for anything as they felt like something was watching them.
Screams of children rang through the fog! Alerted, Maddie spoke out. "When in doubt, follow the screams towards the monster." Only for the fog to get more denser, cutting off the vision for the trio. "Maddie? Normie?" "Guys? Where did you go?" "Boys…. Please tell me you're still here?" "I'm here! I think." Ben answers as Maddie backs away slowly, getting scared as the Boogeyman himself, slowly morphed out of a tree behind, freaking the girl out. "GAAAHHH!"
"Maddie?!" Just then, roots pop out and entangle the boy's feet. "Hey… What's this? This feels like…. Wildvine's roots! AHHHHHH!" The boy screamed as he was dragged beneath, landing face-first in another area. The boy comes too, and glances up, not only reunited with his friends but in a creepy cavern with a large, dead, twisted tree surrounded by a lake of slime water.
The kids slowly made their way across the bridge towards the tree, feeling creeped out by all the old and fallen apart toys as they couldn't help but think: 'How many other kids were dragged into this world before them?'. They then heard some crying as they came across a hole in the tree. "AAAAHHHHH! IT'S THE BOOGYMAN!" Madison leans in and smiles to see the 2 missing kids. "No! Wait! We're kids too! Except we're here to rescue you." They both got out as Ian spoke out. "We want to go home." "Don't worry! Helping people is a hobby of mine! I can get us out in no time flat!" Ben smirks out.
"Not likely." They all glanced behind to see the Boogeyman himself, towering over the group of kids. The 2 younger ones were scared, but the other 3 had brave faces. "So… You're the big, bad Boogeyman that's been out, night hunting?" Ben questions as Normie speaks out. "I admit: You did scare us at first. But now we see who you are!" "Yeah! A big, jerky, bully that drags innocent kids in this creepy place just to pick on them!" Madison frowns out. "Not true. You are all here because you've been naughty." Maddie merely frowns and glances away with crossed arms. "Naughty? Please! We didn't do anything wrong."
The boys got deadpan looks with sweat drops as Ben points out. "Uh… Maddie? 2 things: One, I do things that no other kid can do. And Subject B: Didn't you forget that you weren't a perfect angel when you first met the spies?" "Yeah! Like a certain copter, you were supposed to refuel instead of goofing off?" Madison blinked her eyes in shock with sweats of nervousness at what Normie stated. "Oh… Right. I guess we are on this thing's list." "Correct, Madison! You should have listened to your friends and not ignored your promise and responsibility. Especially being disrespectful to your babysitters when you first met them and lying to your father."
Maddie was stunned by the monster knowing her name and her mistake and what happened when she met the spies! "How did you know that?!" Normie answers the question. "Cause he's the Boogeyman, Maddie! Every child's worst nightmare! He has a 6th sense of when a kid has been bad! Like the times I messed with Clover!" The blonde boy exclaims. "That is right! Enjoy eternity in my world as your forever punishment."
The monster turns into a swarm of maggots and flies upward towards the ceiling, making a portal. "Okay! No worries. We can just climb up there." Only, on cue from Ben's words, things go from bad to worse when a swarm of worms starts crawling towards them from the water, surprising the group. "I'm guessing this is how the Boogeyman gets rid of naughty children!" Maddie theorizes in dread as Normie looks at Ben, who is dialing his Omnitrix. "Anytime now, Ben!" "I'm trying to dial in a flyer!" "Haven't you figured that watch out, yet?" Ignoring his blonde friend's question, he slaps down on the Omnitrix! FLASH
Ice spreads all over him as he is engulfed in a cocoon of ice. First, his wings burst out, followed by his arms, then his legs, and finally, the rest of him as his eyes flashed green.
"YES! Thank you, Omnitrix!" Big Chill grabs the four kids in his arms and takes off, flying upwards into the hole as it closes behind them.
At the fountain in town, the group broke out as they gasped for breath. "Huh… The portal led us to the fountain in the town square." Big Chill notices. "Talk about convenience!" Maddie spoke out as they got out. "Now, if I were a giant, kid-capturing, bog monster, where would I be?" Normie ponders. Just then, an angry mob rushed past them, making them glance in their direction. "When in doubt, follow the classic angry mob." The blonde spoke as he pointed at the Boogeyman, being surrounded by the mob with pitchforks and torches.
"We got to stop him before he drags the kids back!" "Agree! I'll hit him from the air!" Big Chill responds to Madison as he flies towards the monster, socking it with an ice mace as it snarls and swipes at the alien as he phases through the claws. While the 2 duke it out, Normie spots the buggy and gets an idea. "The Omni-Buggy should do the trick!" He quickly got in and started it up. "Okay, swamp freak! Try this out!" He floored the gas and shot forward. Just as the Boogeyman was frozen solid by a freeze beam, the Buggy rams the monster, breaking him into many tiny pieces as the buggy stops with a grin from the boy.
The others regrouped with the boy as the alien commented with a smirk. "Anyone wants crushed ice?" They were suddenly stunned by a swarm of maggots emerging from the pieces and flying away from them. "Guess he decided to run off to lick his wounds." Big Chill spoke out as Maddie showed the book. "Come on! We got to get the last page from the library. It's the only way to figure out how to defeat the Boogeyman!"
The team went back inside the first place they went to since arriving at the town, only to be surprised the place was covered in fog and darkness. "Okay…. Now there's creepy fog in the building and the scare factor just got cranked to 11." Ben comments. "I'll check the place where Nelly went missing. You boys go somewhere else to find the last page." Maddie spoke as Normie added out as they split up. "And watch your backs, guys! The Boogeyman can be anywhere." The 3 kids walk off into different sections.
The girl rounds a corner to stare at the spot where Nelly disappeared, gazing for clues as the Boogeyman is behind her, only to see nothing when she looks back. "Hmm…" She walks off to another area.
In another section, Ben and Normie kept walking while keeping their eyes peeled. "He's around here somewhere…." Ben mumbles out. "There is no escape for naughty boys." The monster grows as books suddenly fall, making Ben quickly shove Normie out of the way as he gets covered in the books. "Going hero!" He cries while getting buried. FLASH
Ben's arms became muscular and furry as he roared. His head morphed and his eyebrow became pointed. He unsheathes his claws while he throws his arms to his sides and yells to the sky.
"RAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" Rath cries out as he bursts out of the books. "BEN!" He gazes back to see his friend behind hoisted by the monster. "Help before I take a one-way trip back!" "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" "Let me tell you something, Boogeyman! Evil child-stealing monster from a storybook that is terrorizing this village in the middle of nowhere! Nobody steals Rath's friends and lives to talk about it! NO ONE!" He leaps at the monster and tackles it, making him drop the kid.
He then lifts a bookshelf with his super strength and smacks the monster with it. He then tosses the remains at the Boogeyman, sending him crashing into other shelves as they pile on top of him. Rath then smashed his fists on top from above for good measure. "You had enough, Boogeyman?! Because no one can stop Rath when he's in the ring! NOBODY! Because you just bit off an eye bigger than your stomach can chew!" "Uhhh… dude?" He gazes back at a confused Normie. "That makes no sense." "I KNOW!"
"Guys!" They both saw Maddie rush up to them with the book. "I found the last page!" She shows the picture of the smiling kids as the Boogeyman got sucked into his book. "In the end, the kids send the Boogeyman back into his book!" CRASH "SURPRISE!" Rath growls while the kids yell in surprise. The tiger alien charges and attacks with his claws, slicing off both arms of the monster and parts of his body, which regenerated.
"Impressive! Perhaps I can use some of your tiger muscle as well! Once my maggots feast on you!" "I rather use my Rath muscle!" Rath then uses his acrobatic fighting skills to knock the monster down, grabbing it and throwing it at Normie, who smirks and opens the book in front of him. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" A huge flash of light occurred as the monster got trapped in his book, again.
But just then, Normie gasped as the book struggled to open. "He's trying to get free!" The blonde saw the key and quickly locked it, trapping the monster for good. "Man! That guy didn't know when to quit. But they did live happily ever after." Rath, on the other hand, was upset. "Raaaghhhhh! Rath still wanted to punch that ugly tree thing! Rath hates it when they get away!" He cut a bookshelf in half from his anger. "BEN!" Maddie frowns at Rath, making him regain control. "Uhhh…. Sorry?"
Dawn cracks over the town, as the trio is outside with the townspeople, glad that the monster was gone. "Man! Who would have thought a simple trip to get a new game would lead to a mystery and a fight against a real, paranormal monster?" "Not us! That's for sure!" Maddie smirks at Normie. "But on the bright side, the Boogeyman won't be stealing any more kids from anywhere else!" Ben spoke out as the man spoke out. "We can't thank you kids enough for helping us out."
"No problem! I do stuff like this all the time!" Ben smirks out as Normie confirms it. "It's true! We do hang out with him on stuff like this." Ivan and Nelly went up and gave big grins as they thanked the young hero. "Hey, Ben! Thanks a bunch! Your aliens are so cool! My personal favorite is Shock Rock!" "And mine is Humungousaur! Thank you so much for you and your friends for saving us." Nelly smiles as Maddie smiles and waves off. "Our pleasure. Speaking of grownups…." She trails as they glance to see a Limo show up with Jerry stepping out.
"Ben. You have helped subdue all sorts of villains around the world. But discovering and stopping a paranormal entity like the Boogeyman is the first in the history of WOOHP! This is why I decided to make you and your friends an official team on strange and extrasensory events all over the globe. Looks like things are changing." "Yeah, Jerry! But either way, me and my buds can tackle anything!" Jerry took the cursed book as he went back and took off in his Limo, making the trio get into the buggy and start it up. They all waved bye as the town did the same, thanking them for their help in stopping the nightmare as the racer drove back to the Copter.
The Omni-Copter, now refueled by WOOHP Agents, heads back to the USA after their adventure. But as Maddie got out of the bathroom, she noticed the book in the buggy, making the call out. "Hey, guys! Check this out!" The 2 boys went back to see the book. "Oh, yeah! In all the excitement, we forgot to give this book back!" "Well, I doubt that man will miss it," Normie adds to Ben as they all decide to check out its contents. "Wonder what is in it, though?" The blonde ponders.
They read for a bit and were amazed by it! It turns out: That it is an encyclopedia on all sorts of paranormal things! Monsters, Curse, Creatures, Hidden History, artifacts. All sorts of hidden things all over the globe! "Whoa…. It's a database of every single Paranormal thing in the world!" "Yeah… if we showed this to Jerry, he could definitely use this thing!" Ben walks away from his friends in thought. As the 2 glanced at him, he smiled as he looked back. "Okay... I guess I could have not stopped the Boogeyman on my own. You 2 are helpful when I need it."
The 2 glanced at each other and smiled. "That's all we want to hear, Ben. And you are welcome." "Besides, with more paranormal and supernatural adventures on the way, there is no way we're going to let you tackle the new weirdness of the world by yourself!" The boy smiles as he is happy that his friends have his back, no matter what. They all placed their hands together and yelled out. "GO TEAM-OMNI-HUNTERS!"
Back in the village, as the people were getting back into their lives, 2 strangely armored men wearing trench coats were observing the scene as one pulled out a phone and dialed it. "Sir? It's just as our scientists have confirmed from the readings: The supernatural our ancestors once fought before has returned. Not to worry, though. Me and my partner may have found a solution." He finishes as he gazes up at the copter leaving.
