The two were interrupted by the Jailer who most likely came at the worst possible time on purpose. The Knight went over to the Jailer to examine the armour and the practice swords he forged. It seemed good but they were missing some stuff. Namely like a gambeson. Basically stuff you'd put under the armour, it was like padding. You couldnt just put metal on your body, you had to have protection under the protection. Although the two medieval men spoke how its not really easy to get those kinds of materials here. So they had to brainstorm that part. Although as much as the Knight wanted to keep his survivor with him. He thought perhaps it was best if she were to go to the others

"We need to work more. I will take you to others." he spoke to her. She wasnt sure what was going on since the two spoke in their language between one another, but she decided to trust the Knight to take her back to the survivors.
The walk over there was mostly silent as she didnt know what to talk about. But neither did he. He focused on business. Although upon arrival he gave her a little hug, it was still very awkward, but it was brief
"I am oddly fond of you. Keep safe" he said and waited for her to cross the line back to the survivor camp. Which was right on cue where she was taken by the Entity for a new trial.
She found herself with Kate, Adam and David in preparation for a trial.
"Long time no see. Where have you been?" Adam asks Rita as he prepares his medkit for the trial
"I've been around... investigating" she answers him
"Wow, you're really like a detective then" Kate says as she got her toolbox. Rita chuckled a bit nervously and said "I guess it runs in the family"

While there were some law enforcement survivors here, she decided to work outside of the box and teaming up with killers of all people. Something that is surely unwise, but she figured if everyone was stuck and out of ideas, she'd try something new, even if dangerous. As they prepared for the trial, she hoped to see the Legion or the Knight again. At least Legion clarified there's no bad blood with her and what happens in the trial stays in the trial. And the Knight has also shown to be very amicable with her. And even openly admited he was fond of her. She didnt even get to tell him that she was kind of fond of him as well.

The quartet of survivors would soon arrive in Midwich. She heard Adam make a comment, hoping its not the Nurse, while David hoped it wasnt the Doctor and Kate worrying about the Dredge with the amount of lockers this place had. Rita didnt know who to avoid. Last time she was here she saw Tricksters murderous side. But from what she heard of other killers, Trickster was somehow the lesser evil among all of them. At least he was a human. She explored the abandoned elementary schools hallways looking for a generator. And just as she turns the corner, she feels a sharp pain in her stomach, suddenly seeing Ghostface is their killer and he snuck up on her. He pulled out the knife out of her to stab her again. But she made a run for it while holding her wound. She ran back to the direction she came from and ran out to the courtyard, but Ghostface followed her in hot pursuit, it was a short chase in which he managed to get her first and with a 2nd stab, he managed to down her. He grabbed her and placed her on a hook. Ominously, he didnt adress her in any way. Instead he was eerily silent, not like Trickster who would sadistically laugh as he chased his prey. Adam managed to sneak by as Ghostface left, he made sure the killer made good distance before unhooking her.

The two discussed about the killer as they went back in the building and into the infirmary room. But Ghostface who was checking back would find Rita gone and a blood trail that was his path to her. He would crouch and sneak his way over to the two. Ghostface was briefly listening in to them as they discussed him and the possible perks he had. One perk he had but they didnt know was Spies from the Shadows, the perk where the crows would let him know where someone was if they were disturbed. They gave him a constant flow of information of peoples whereabouts, as well as the other ambient noises of working generators. As soon as he stalked up Adam enough, he'd jump from his cover since Adam was exposed to a killing blow and thus downed right away. He'd grab him and carry him away. Once he was hooked he'd go to find Rita, who was being healed by David in the Midwich bathroom area. Where he essentially trapped them and downed them both. It was stupidly easy because of their poor choice. He got to hook Rita and noticed that Adam was unhooked. But now he had 2 people. First he made sure Rita was gone from the trial, so he loomed close around her, proxy camping her and once she was done, he'd move onto the others.

Just as the Entity was about to claim Rita, Kate managed to swoop in at the last second for the save. Which angered the killer as the chase went on. Luckily it was a decent chase from Kate as the survivors managed to do the generators. But as much of a valiant effort she did put she was eventually downed and hooked. Another survivor he managed to get once more was Adam. Ghostface made sure to eliminate those two people so it was only David and Rita left.

But the two didnt dare to risk anything, so they made sure to escape the trial. Although when they came back, Rita would notice something that was hard not to miss. The entire realm changed. The campfire was more… jungle-y. There were different trees with pink leaves and there was something which can only be described as a space ship in the background. She didnt know what it was. But soon as she and David were confused on what happened, they would notice that there was a new person here. Darker skin, light coloured hair that was like blonde or platinum. An orange and grey jacket shirt thing that had some tech or something. Indeed, Rita was not the newest survivor anymore. More people were coming.

"Hey guys, come over. Gabriel was just about to tell us about himself" Claudette beckoned the two to come over. Indeed, the newcomer had more precedence than how their trial went.
"So you were saying?" Jake spoke to this Gabriel
"It wasnt programmed to harm the crew. It was supposed to help us build a safer home. But, something happened. It became self aware. It has no empathy. It doesnt feel pain. It learns at an impossible rate. And it wont stop until we are dead or worse"
Gabriel spoke of this killer and she learned that this thing was an It. It was a robot, it wasnt programmed to harm the crew. Became self aware. Its like it achieved a Singularity. Its as if the Entity had to make up for lack of a killer with her that it had to bring up a heartless robot to slaughter them. She definitely felt the fear course through her. A killer that she cant reason with.

She glanced over the edge of the campfire, just beyond the light where the unnatural darkness starts. But since the environment changed, it was a lot easier to see the killer looming over them. As she trailed off to look at the killer, Nea who was there also noticed this and looked in the same direction as Rita to look at what she was looking at. And it was the Trickster who was keeping his eye on the survivors. He had a knowing smile, as a killer he knew what the Singularity was like and he wasnt giving them the pleasure to see the killer this early before a trial.
"Why is he here?" Nea spoke to herself, although Rita could hear her
"I can check" she answered
"Are you sure?" Nea asked her back as she didnt really wanna deal with a killer
"I'll be fine" Rita assured and went over there before Nea can object or anything
The korean would notice this and chuckle to himself as she'd walk over to him "My my, infront of your survivor friends? So bold"
"What are you doing here?" Rita spoke in a more hushed manner so others wouldnt listen in
"Denying the new killer the pleasure of seeing his prey. Also making sure none of you guys are spoiled by the surprise, since his new realm is more brighter" the Trickster replied as he played with a knife
"Him?" she questioned since Gabriel refered to the killer as an it "I thought it was a robot"
"Mmm, it is~ He, it. All the same to me what you call him it. Singularity or HUX-A7-13. Dont care" he spoke nonchalantly as always.
While the robots name drop was new info for her. Which gave her an idea to try and probe for its ability
"Oh? Hux? Singularity? Do you know its power?" she asked
"Hah no. Nice try tho. Trying to pry out the info early. But it hasnt had a match yet, so even we didnt see its power. We just know it haaates humans with a passion. Im pretty sure it would want to kill every human killer too. Tho the Entity is keeping it at bay. Lord knows that Myers would also try to kill everything that moves. Although, try not to die to it. You are a fun one." he spoke as he placed back his knife and turned heel
"Where are you going?" Rita asked
"Dont worry your pretty little head. You just focus on survival and that grand exit you dream of" he spoke, not even looking at her. Meanwhile in the distance, a certain skull drone would film the event
