Naofumi scratched his head, remembering something like Sword Art Online where this Kirito character was trapped in the game for two or more years.

And it seems like they were somehow put into this world by some advanced civilization which gave them this strange game like ability.

Having watched anime and stuff to identify the tropes and personalities of the Main Protagonist, Side Characters and Antagonists allowed him to realize, that he has become an anime's Main Character and the three are idiotic Side Characters.

The Sophomore wasn't really into manipulation, but the more the three talked, the more he realized he should at least persuade the three to be sensible, even a little bit.

"Excuse me!"

The three fellow heroes glanced towards him, being silent for a moment.

This might be his only chance, but...

"Eh? Oh... I see... we've been ignoring you, right? Sorry about that..." Motoyasu spoke sheepishly, as he scratched his head. "And what is it?"

"You see... uh, we might be stuck in a death game created by a civilization with more advanced technology than our worlds. I-I mean, this world is purely virtual reality, while our bodies might be in capsules!"

Naofumi spoke, trying to keep himself from stuttering and even making a fool out of himself. He's had decent conversations with people like his brother and parents, even his classmates, but he rarely ever made bluffs.

He almost looked away embarrassed, but it took him a lot of mental strength to keep himself calm even with the sweat on his forehead.

"... What."

The expressions of his fellow heroes actually surprised him, though.

"..."

Ren's and Itsuki's eyes glared deeply into Naofumi, as if trying to find out of he bluffed or not, yet there was something about it that felt strange.

Motoyasu, however...

"... that can't be real." He gently muttered in disbelief, stepping back in shock, to walking to the balcony of the room.

For a moment, the cold breeze of the night's wind passed by his side

"... You mean, we're still alive, but our minds are in this simulation?" He spoke, before sighing. "Damn, and people even thought the world is a simulation, but this world actually is! Holy shit! I'm going to sleep, I can't just take all of this otherworldly nerd crap! Don't wake me up, please!"

Silently, he walked towards a bed he himself claimed and immediately began to sleep, putting his spear aside.

And now it was the time for him to talk to Itsuki and Ren.

"Naofumi, are you bluffing?" Itsuki asked, moving closer to Naofumi with the intention to grab him by his collar. "Tell me what you know, then I'll let you go."

He and Ren were taking his bluff incredibly seriously, which will be a problem if he doesn't talk more.

"It's just a theory! A game theory!" Isn't what he should say.

What he should say is... even if his mental strength is about to fail him...

"This world is virtual, but the moment we die, we die for good, and then we will definitely be replaced by four more victims from other timelines!" He bluffed, again, but this time he continued it. "I think whatever actions we will do will have consequences in this world! So, uh, killing a dragon might do something horrible, or quite literally being idle would affect us!"

His collar was let off by Itsuki's hand, and the Bow Hero silently left for his own bed.

"A... any more you could say?" Ren asked, doubting himself as much as the other two heroes tried.

"Uhh...It's possible if other victims of this death game have been turned into NPCs or weapons for this world. Like my shield?" This time was a complete bluff, which hopefully should make Ren believe that he was bluffing.

Yet the Sword Hero silently walked to his bed and slept.

What the hell had been wrong with them?

Still... his bluffs couldn't have possibly been believed too much, right?

... Right?
