Shimon is frustrated. He trusts Lady Fifth and Lord Sixth, yet, it feels as if no one is doing a thing to get his sister back. There is a five kage summit, and every time there is a new Kage present, the previous Kage from that village will be present, on the sidelines, and to guide the new Kage in terms of the meeting. (Lord Gaara being an exception as his Jonin instructor Baki was with him for his first Kage summit since the assassination of Lord Rasa). Taking a deep breath, Shimon gets out of his bed getting ready in record breaking time before heading to the Hokage building. Ibiki Morino greets him with a nod. Most of the Jonin, Chunin and Anbu taking place in the areas surrounding the Hokage office. It feels like there is some sort of electricity in the air, everyone tense. One by one Lord Raikage is the first to arrive, then the youngest Lord Gaara, then Lord Tsuchikage, and finally Lady Mizukage. Shimon has to admit that Lady Mizukage is quite beautiful objectively speaking, knowing he will only see a handful of times before he himself is assigned to a mission or she retires and a new Mizukage takes her place.
Besides it is not like I could ever be given a chance to see her outside of a summit like this. He muses as the doors lock and the Five Kage begin their meeting.
Serena has no idea where she is. The bandages wrapped around her eyes, rather eye holes. She grits her teeth, fists forming, she wants out. She needs to find where these witches are keeping her eyes, get them, and then leave. Slowly, the young girl stands, goosebumps rising on her skin, the air a cool crisp. Serena breathes through her nose as to not allow her captures to hear her.
Serena isn't sure how much time passes but when she is sure she cannot hear any footsteps or any breathing she slips through the bars of her cell with surprising ease. Feeling the rough terrain of the rock wall across from the cell, and using that all with her hearing to make her escape. Upon feeling the fresh air in her nose, fresh dirt beneath her feet Serena starts taking off. Not sure where, just anywhere than back to that cave.
With fear pumping through her, Serena keeps running, trying to get to the closest village big or small. Hoping that someone anyone can help her. Unable to see the time of day or how far she has gone, Serena can only assume she has made a reasonable distance. She can only wish that she is still in the Land of Fire.
"Lady Ino," Shimon addresses the new Head of the Analysis Division. The blonde turns to look at him. Ino took over as head a couple years after the War, her father's loss hitting the Division, especially Ino, worse than when Pain destroyed their village. "What do you think will occur?" He leaves unsaid what can be done for Serena, what the Kage plan on doing with this organization.
"Honestly, Shimon, I'm not sure." Serena spent time with Ino, looked up to the young Yamanaka head like a big sister and mentor, Serena missing must also be hitting her. Serena took interest not only in Ino's intelligence and how she runs the Division but also the flower shop, Serena coming with a bunch of different boutique arrangements, one being mostly consisting of tulips and orchids with three roses in the middle. That particular kind being a big seller on Wednesdays for some reason. Ino walks over placing a gentle hand on Shimon's shoulder. "Don't worry, I trust the Kage and their decisions, Kakashi and Gaara especially. The five of them have been through so much, most surviving both the Third and Fourth Shinobi Wars, they have had made tougher decisions before I gully believe that they will do what is best."
Shimon nods. Soon after, Ino and Ibiki dismiss him for a break, get a drink, a snack, some fresh air to clear his head until a clear mission is assigned.
