It takes place after series 4 and remains as faithful as possible to the show. John is picking up the pieces of his life as a single father, while Sherlock is up to his same antics. They must come together to stop a new villain. It's a good bit of fun!

Mycroft was in an accident and has lost approximately six and a half years to retrograde amnesia. As far as he knows, his baby brother still lives alone in squalor as a junkie and Mycroft definitely doesn't recall being in a relationship with a certain DI. Beta read by Sherlock1110.

The year is 2027. Sherlock, Molly and their family must deal with the grief associated with losing a beloved family member. How will they cope, and how will their faith sustain them as they deal with their pain in the days leading up to the funeral? Despite the overall theme of loss, there are happier moments to be seen. Ansley Holmes has a colorful past, but her abilities to make deductions are just as good as both of her brother's. What was supposed to be a quick visit to Sherlock's flat quickly turns into more as she is roped into helping Sherlock and John solve crimes.
