It was Valentine's Day at Baker Street and Mrs. Hudson was expecting a row to erupt at 221B. Doctor John Watson (grey-haired, gentle-faced former military man) had not had a date in goodness knows how long. Today was no exception. Therefore, considering that it was February 14th, it was inevitable that he would be very cranky indeed. A short but sweet Johnlock one-shot.

After an uneventful couple of months, Sherlock finally finds a case worthy of his time. With a serial killer on the lose, taunting Sherlock with aspects of his past, and the stakes higher than ever, he and John must work quickly to save one of their own. However, along the way they all must revisit the troubles of their pasts, unearthing things that will change their lives forever.

Sherlock never asked for this. Then again, neither did his wife. Victorian Sherlolly.
