Okay, yes I am fully aware of the fact that John and Sherlock were fighting at this time. But one can dream right? Essentially, this fanfic depicts a moment John and Sherlock shared after Sherlock saw the hound in the moor.

Traumatised by Sherlock's death, John is unsure if he'll ever be able to carry on in life. He never got to tell Sherlock that one sentence that has been racing around his head for too long, and now he'll never be able to. But when John runs into a man who claims to have been in Afghanistan with him, John struggles to push past Sherlock and let this new man into his life.

John walks in after work to find Sherlock in a rather compromising position. And Sherlock needs his help - for an "experiment." Right. Luckily, John swears he's not gay . . . (M for content and language.)
