When Sherlock returns after three years of hunting Moriarty's men he finds London has changed thanks to a new criminal mastermind. He's psychopathic, intelligent, and completely insane. He also happens to be the one person Sherlock made it his goal to protect on the roof of St Bart's three years ago. And he will continue to protect the good doctor, even if he has lost his humanity.

Johnlock. John goes to a gay bar where he bumps into Sherlock who says he's working on a case. After one night in the same bed, their relationship takes a dramatic turn for better or worse.

Fluff piece in which John tries to help Sherlock feel better when he has a migraine. Similar to my previous story, this makes no mention of slash or anything beyond close friendship.
