Good day to any reader who has stubled in this story! As a new writer this is my first story (even if i proof-read it first) so no flame please, but constructive critisism is always welcome in my book! Now onto the story!

One punch man does not belong to me, the only things i own are wether OC will be featured in the story.

It was night in the outskirts of E city where a futuristic base, guarded by robots, loomed over the city and was hidden in a mountain.

Here a being of unimaginable power was kept in the dephts of the facility to be studied, but, since it was found only yesterday, no real data could be extracted.

The being was kept in a medium-sized cell made entirely of an extremely durable steel and within a 150cm wide cube made of the same material, it was also binded with big and wide shackels (made of the same material of the cell) at its arms, legs, torso and mid-section.

Outside the cell there were many heavy weapons to incapacitate it in case it was freed:under those circumstances very few creature could hope to escape unscathed (or escape at all).

But this being was different, far different in power than any other creature who walked this earth.

The creature yawned as it awakened from his slumber and began to look around:even though it was pitch black, the being could see as it was in broad daylight.

It was captured only because it allowed it, but now that it knew what its captors wanted to do by experimenting with his body it would allow this no more, for it did not want to be the cause of death and destruction of innocent lives.

The being came to know of their nefarious plot by overhearing a conversation outside its cell.

These machines thought that it couldn't hear them, but its hearing was truly something unreal.

The being, befote starting its escape, began to look at the shackels:to anybody these would be very tough to break out of, but it knew better.

So, after a deep breath, it flexed its body using minimal effort.

The shackels immediately broke aganist the immense pressure and the sole action caused a shockwave to ripple across the room, shattering the chains and the remains of the shackels.

After the action its clothing was revealed:a pair of short blue jeans and a light blue short sleeved shirt.

It relaxed for three seconds and then moved to the wall, piercing it with its left hand like butter.

It then put both hands in the small made crevice and moved them in opposite directions, creating a breach big enough for it to pass and crippling the super durable steel effortlessly.

One step brought it in a long corridor and the being was barraged with the defence system:heavy machineguns, rocket launchers, laser guns and granade launchers emerged from all kinds the surfaces of the corridor and, with a vicious roar, fired all their ammunitions at the being, resulting in an explosive aftermath.

But, as the smoke cleared, the being stood unscathed with the only damage done being the now tattered shirt behind it.

It immediately sprinted towards the door at the end of the corridor, destroying the guns in his way by simply running in them.

With a kick, the being launched the heavily reinforced door in the ceiling of the new larger room, such action (and the noise it created) caused the emerging of several opponents:two legged robots made with a very durable alloy and equipped with a vulcan in the left arm and a chainsaw in the right one.

The being was unfazed for two reasons:it expected their arrival and their weapons would be useless, for the being fought opponents just as fierce (but admittedly not in these numbers).

And so the being charged at the metallic foes who, without flinching, fired their guns and prepared their chainsaws.

The bullets came crashing on the being's bare skin, not doing a single damage, but the same could not be said for the being's punches, which tore through the androids like nothing.

Immediately the being spotted the exit of the room and darted towards it, ignoring the remaining androids since it prioritized escaping.

From there, the being continued its escape by going upwards, understanding that it was brought to the dephts of their base.

After some time (and at least ten minutes of backtracking) it arrived in front of an armored door, bigger than all the other ones it crashed through.

The being jumped and, upon facing directly the big red orb at the centre of the door, punched.

The orb shattered and the entire door crumpled on itself, exposing the being to what it though was the final room:a windowless, rectangular shaped room containing twelve standard androids and, at the end of it, a much larger one of cubical shape with four arms equipped with vulcans.

Then the singular red 'eye' shined to life and spoke in a low, robotical voice "your escape is over boy, give up and return to your cell. After all, weren't you the one who willingly let himself capture?".

"That is none of your business, from what your creator told me he wanted to research my body in order to protect people, not kill them!" the being roared angrily, the memory of that betrayal clear in his mind "Besides" he continued "how are you going to stop me?".

The android's answer was almost immediate "I do not need to defeat you, just to slow you down so reinforcements can arrive and contain you".

"Then try to survive" the being answered a smirk, but in the inside it was serious as it did not want an uproar from the nearby city to happen, after all he already caused one by accident...but now was not the time to be thinking that.

With movements surpassing the speed of sound he launched himself aganist the smaller androids punching each one of them and, upon confronting the huge one, he jumped and slashed his foot vertically aganist it, landing lightly on the ground.

As it walked past the security the androids, one by one, were blown away and reduced to scraps on the floor with mini craters on the walls the being faced when he punched, while the slash cutted the hulking machine vertically in half, wrecking its body and creating a crater in the floor.

The being walked in front of the last door and, althought he punched it with even less strength than the other doors, it flew for a few meters with a layer of rocks and dirt that were on the other side.

'Those probably served to camouflage the door with the rest of the environment' thought the being while examining the debris it was attached with.

As it stood outside the robotical base on a clearing, moonlight illuminated the being's frame:it was a boy around 18 years old with icy light blue eyes and fluffy snowy white ear-lenght hair that had tiny spikes on its ends, he was lean, with a bit tan skin and had a toned body which highlighted his muscles (not massive but quite trained) and had a roundish-hexagonal face.

This boy was known as Shinko and he was a 'normal' human, but how did he become so powerful?

The answer lies two and a half years ago when he was in highschool:he was a shy, but friendly boy who would help others, but he was bullied ever since the first year.

At the age of sixteen he made the decision to start training both to prove himself that he meant something (he was very depressed in that time) and to feel worthy of his crush Mizuki, a very attractive and athletic girl who apparently liked to stay with him, although they were not classmates.

To accomplish both of these goals he felt that he needed to be stronger than anything and anyone who ever walked this earth.

And so he developed a training regimen which would kickstart his physical growth:100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats,10km of running, no air conditioner during summers or heater during winters and eating once every meal his most loated fruit...

Bananas.

The first year (he started in June) was 'normal', as he trained every single day after school or in the morning in the outskirts of E city (he thought going to the gym would get him ridiculed), but almost every day he was attacked afterwards by a wolf or tiger level monster.

At first they were hard to deal with as he had little experience in fighting but he got the handle of things.

Although he did not like to kill creatures (even if they were monsters), he would resort to that as a last resort while still fighting (and taking many hits).

By the end if the first year thing for him became...weird:his body felt stronger, more durable, his speed and stamina heightened (along with how much he could jump) and his muscles looked really toned (the first time he noticed this change he passed a mid-hour in front of the mirror looking and touching every part of his body to confirm this change and, upon confirming it, gave Shinko an incredible boost of confidence to continue this training).

Another interesting change were the monsters' behavior with him:in the first year they would look him as an easy prey (and then getting punched or kicked in the face), but the second year the wolf levels seemed reluctant to fight him (he could dissuade those who tried) and only the strongest tigers would go after him, but that didn't matter much because various demon-levels came after him while training or on the way back to the city (then he found out that he LIKED fighting strong opponents, but would not structuring all his life about seeking that thrill).

In the second year of his training there was definitely something different:his body could not take damage from any attack nor injury, poisons did not affect him anymore (an incident at the methane station proved that), he could end his opponents (wolf, tigers, low and medium demons) with a single hit that didn't have to be at full power (or even half) and didn't have to exactly land, he could run at ridiculous speed for hours, he could lift anything (starting from his little 7 year old sister, to his mother's heavy shopping bags and finishing with lifting a loaded truck with one hand), he could get on top of skyscrapers by simply jumping and, the weirdest one yet, he could release a powerful shockwave...by simply flexing hard.

Another anomaly was the change in E city monsters' behavior:tiger-leves would be wary of him, wolf-levels would stick relatively close to him, follow him on his path or watch him training with silent awe and demon-levels medium and above would come and challange him (the battle would end with the defeat or more rarely the death of the opponent and, all things considered, he enjoyed these moments where he could move his body freely and feel his muscles swell in power).

In June, however, he found out that he had been losing hair for quite some time (by that point his hair were WAY less fluffy).

This turn of events sent him in panic:his mop of candid and fluffy hair were something he cherished the most (even among his newfound strength) and so he decided to cut his routine in half:50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, 50 squats and 5km run every single day (he was relieved to finally not being obligated to eat bananas anymore, but he felt indifferent about the rest since no amount of hot and cold bothered him anymore).

This choice was a good one since, by July, his hair started regrowing like normal (actually becoming extremely durable, but still fluffy) and he drew a breath of relief, but he also found out that he would get stronger at a slower pace.

In August he defeated his first dragon-level monster, but Shinko wouldn't call it a fight since he used a sneak attack.

All that is good however ends and in this case it was in September:while the bully leader was beating a first-year Shinko steppod him and, upon getting hitted by the offender, he punched him in the gut and sent him to the hospital.

That was the starting point as everyone (but his family and a few others) berated him for that and some even wanted him expelled; so he ran away from the city (a STUPID decision that made his family and Mizuki worry) and was tricked by some random androids who said to be from the hero association (the very same association that Mizuki wanted to join) amd that wanted his assistance to make humanity safer.

And that was how Shinko ended up in this mess and how he got his otherworldly strength.

He gazed sadly at the moon, whishing he was in his bed with his little sister cuddled next to him, but Shinko knew there was no use crying over spilled milk. Thus he though about making a new life:going back to E city was out of question (even though he had the strength of a thousand monsters he had not the courage to face those glares again) and going to any other city was also not a good idea (he could arrive there in minutes with his speed but he was without money and shirtless). therefore only one option remained:the ghost town in Z city.

With that in mind Shinko took a deep breath to calm himself and began his journey to the so called 'city of monsters' (courtesy of some wolf-levels who decided to talk to him).

And that's the end of the prologue, i will wait at least one week before posting another chapter (just to see the feedback anyone might give me).

Another warning i want to give you is that, even though there WILL be romance, it won't be the main focus.
