There they stood, questions rising in all of their minds. Time travel was unheard of to any of them and yet here Hagoromo sits, telling them of an alternative to their problem. So much has interrupted fate that it has come down to this. Sending back the chosen two who may have a chance of setting things right back on track. It was risky and a sacrifice but one they were reluctantly willing to take.

"How do you know this will work?" Tobirama asked with suspicion.

"I do not know what results may vary to us but it is worth a try. Many other alternative worlds exist and perhaps saving at least one may result in more."

"The time frame would be the biggest issue," Hashirama commented, eyes closed as he pondered it over.

This would start a chain reaction. He did not fully understand but this invasive entity must be dealt with if they are to set any world on track. Messing with the fabric of time was unheard of but there have been some in olden times who tried. If anyone had to do it, maybe it would be Hagoromo. He took a deep breath and released it, coming to a conclusion. If stopping Madara before he had a chance to cause this to start and finding the culprit in the past could prevent this, then it would be a better choice.

"They can do it." They looked over to Namito who had an air of confidence. Hiruzen nodded in agreement. "Naruto and Sasuke both, they can do it."

"Then you will be the four to create the foundation of the seal and I will activate it from here."

The sky darkened as Naruto and Sasuke came crashing down with force. Surely something broke. Sakura was caught in the blue strand of hair that began to shift through Kaguya's hair, squeezing and almost suffocating her. She glanced over to Kakashi who held his ground in front of the other two.

"You all dare… to defy me to no end," her voice began to rasp as the darkened blue light began to emanate from her body and slowly drain Sakura of her chakra.

"What the hell was that thing?" Sasuke said, getting to his feet.

Out of nowhere a blue figure stopped them from harming Kaguya, turning its form into a shield for her before fusing into her body. They all could sense her chakra increase as her body gathered shades of blue, her hair shifting to streaks of dark blue and a symbol appearing along the bottom of her dress into what looked like three blades shifting out from one point and then three slashing coming out between them.

There she levitated, looking down at them before the world around shifted. A ravine began to form between them with an icy cold river forcing its way through from the other side as the three bagan to fall. Naruto used his shadow clones before it was too late and they formed a chain grabbing onto Kakashi and Sasuke.

It all was happening so suddenly they barely had time to react. Naruto's quick thinking gave them a chance to gather before making their way up to the top. Sasuke climbed up and looked up towards Kaguya and Sakura. It did not look like Sakura would manage much longer as she struggled to get out. She let out a scream that cut off, most likely from the lack of oxygen. They had to act fast.

"Naruto!"

"We have to do something!" He looked at Sasuke and then Kakashi before turning back at an angry Kaguya who began to let out a shriek of anger.

Her hair had been cut and the entire area in the air filled with water from the ravine. Namito landed as softly as he could to let Sakura down on the ground. She gasped heavily over and over trying to gain back her breath. The air was getting more difficult to breathe in, almost as if there was barely any oxygen left.

The terrain began to shift, now more ravines formed and pillars of earth ascended higher into the sky. Ravines began to fill with pools of lava or icy waters, the clouds above began to swirl as lightning began to strike down. The fusion happened, they had to get the information across and begin the time transfer.

Sakura calmed herself enough to inhale slowly, the oxygen was indeed lessened. She looked around, everyone was having a hard time moving about. Kakashi's movements were much slower than expected of him showing he too was feeling it. She stood and began to run over to them but a sudden quake beneath her hoisted up into the sky.

She looked over the edge, she wasn't the highest outcropping but it was close. Kaguya began furiously sending elemental attacks at Naruto and Sasuke who began an assault on her. In the distance she saw the previous Kage with light glowing around them in a square formation. She jumped off the pillar and to another, making her way down closer to them and Kakashi. They must have had a plan.

Lightning struck Sasuke as he tried to grab Kaguya, he held back his scream as he used the energy from the lightning to strike an intensified Chidori at her. Kaguya was taken by surprise, giving an opening for Naruto. His shadow clones moved and attacked until one got her hair. Sasuke quickly shot another chidori and cut the hair right before she destroyed the clone. Naruto himself grabbed the hair and retreated with Sasuke.

They bobbed and weaved through the rising pillars and crumbling land to the small area that she could not manipulate so easily thanks to her landing among the two and just ran, unable to speak amongst the chaos. When they were close to the area they could finally catch their breath much easier.

"What is going on? What don't I know?" Sakura asked as they slowed near the Kage.

"That's what I would like to ask," Kakashi added near his former sensei.

"It is some plan to stop her," Naruto noted, showing the handful of hair. It was black.

"So he was the instrument." Hashirama looked at the hair, before inhaling still in his stance with his new hand sign. "It goes like this… There is a plan to use her power and connect to the past on a different plain. The entity you saw is causing this by invading realms and manipulating everything to allow Kaguya to reign. To stop her Naruto and Sasuke must return to a different past to give us more time. That little bit that remains of Madara should be enough to give a good pointed area within time."

Sakura looked at the two, Naruto seeming the most hesitant and distraught. Was the entity that blue thing that latched onto Kaguya to save her from the sealing? If so, why and where did it come from?

"Hang on, what does that mean for us?" Kakashi asked.

Everyone was silent, answering the question. Sakura pondered on it for a moment, they would leave this world to save the future of another. Did that mean this one was beyond saving now? Was she and Kakashi… going to be left to die? She began to shake with anger and sadness, unsure how to accept that.

"There has to be anoth…." Before she could finish the ground began to shake.

"She is breaking through with control. You must finish it!" a voice echoed around them.

The kage all held out a hand sign none of them had seen before and chanted something as the hair in Naruto's hand began to glow and levitate. Strand by strand it swirled out of his hand and formed a circle on the ground as the inside started to darkened and lower downward. Pillars began to shift upwards once again around them trying to break the seal, Naruto and Sasuke ran to jump for it but hair grabbed them.

Kaguya levitated there with great anger and tears, screaming as lightning started to strike down. Sakura and Kakashi were both lifted on a pillar and the Kage location was as well slowly. Kakashi ran and began to jump, aiming a fireball towards her to let the two go. Just as Sakura was about to strike landed on her, searing arm as the ground beneath crumbled. Before she knew it everything around her turned black.

"Hashirama, no!" a voice echoed. She looked around in the void as she fell, falling just above her was the first Hokage.

"I agreed to it for a reason. I believe this plan will work," he said as his body began to seemingly crumble away.
