In the Celadon city gym battle arena

Erika: "Where could he be?" "He should have been here hours ago. "Thought the blue-haired gym leader wearing a long-sleeved green Kimiko.

Children: "Where is the Champion ?"

Erika: "I don't know kids, I just don't know!"

Celadon city shopping center.

Iris: I wonder where I could find a Horsea at? The purple-haired girl thought while walking in the shopping center of Celadon city.

Cilan: I do hope I got everything on my list. I can't wait to serve these new dishes at my gym back home. Said a light green-haired man with bags and bags of food. With said bags obscuring his vision.

Iris: Maybe I should have asked Clair when I saw her in Unova. Thought the Purple-haired girl rubbing her chin in thought with her eyes closed. Not watching where she was walking she crashed into someone and quickly found herself on the floor with a familiar green-haired connoisseur. Regaining her bearing she looked to see who she had bumped into and was shocked to find who it was. "Cilan?"

Cilan: At the sound of his name being called the green-haired connoisseur opened his eyes. His groceries quickly being forgotten, as the pain he was feeling was overridden with curiosity. "Iris?" The two friends embraced one another, quickly forgetting the pain they had just experienced in favor of hugging their former traveling companion. Said hug lasted for two minutes before they finally broke apart.

Iris: "What are you doing in the Kanto region?"

Cilan: "I could ask you the same thing, my friend?"

Iris: "I'm here in the Kanto region looking to add a Horsea to my Pokemon team." She said with a smile on her face.

Cilan: "Well I am gathering ingredients that can only be found in the Kanto region so I can use them to enhance the taste and flavor of my food tenfold at my gym back home." The green-haired connoisseur said with a smile on his face. Mirroring his former traveling companion. "But I am also here because of a rumor I heard!"

Iris: Rumor? What rumor?" The purple-haired girl asked with a raise of one of her purple brows.

Cilan: "Well supposedly the new champion of the Alola region will be visiting the Cealondon city gym today." The green-haired boy said with excitement in his voice.

Iris: "The Alola region finally has a champion and he is coming to the Celadon city gym today? Let's go!" Shouted the purple-haired girl grabbing the green-haired gym leader in bridal style and running at supersonic speeds towards the gym. The green-haired gym leader protested the entire way toward the gym. Leaving Cilans ingredients behind on the shopping district floor.

In the Celadon city gym battle arena

Iris: Running faster than she had ever run in her entire life Iris ran as if her very life depended on it. Stopping the gym Iris ran even faster than was before not even bothering to open the door as she easily crashed right through it as if it was paper. The purple-haired soon found herself in a literal forest. Everywhere she looked she only had either trees or plants. Had she taken a wrong turn she thought. No, no she thought, the sign next to the building said Cealondon City gym with an arrow pointing to said building presumed to be the gym. I guess with the gym leader being a grass-type trainer it only made sense to surround the inside of the gym with various plants and trees to simulate an actual forest. Making it the perfect place to train grass Pokemon as they were literally in their very element itself. But if this was a gym where was the battlefield? Every gym needed a battlefield to conduct an official gym leader Pokemon battle. Oh, there it is she thought seeing it right past those purple-colored flowers with a spiral yellow circle shooting a bead of yellow out of the circle of the plant. As Iris walked passed the flowers trying her best to ignore their beauty. However, the purple-haired girl as she walked away from said flowers only to soon fell power to their beauty as the purple-haired girl soon turned around and ran towards the flowers she had been thinking about for the last min or two. Finding her way back to the purple flowers, the purple-haired girl just stared at the flowers smiling softly at the flowers.

Erika: "Ahem." Said the Kamido-wearing gym leader.

Iris: "Huh?" Said Iris quickly losing interest in the plants and looking towards the sound she heard to find a tall blue-haired girl looking at her with worry along with a couple of hundred kids sitting on the floor. "What? I got a little lost when a first came into the gym? This place is practically a jungle! Then I thought that if this was an official gym, it would need a battlefield to conduct an official gym leader match. Looking around I soon spotted the battlefield and passed by some pretty purple flowers. But the second I got passed the flowers as I walked towards the battlefield, I immendiately knew I wanted to go back. I had been captivated by the purple flowers over there and quickly became entranced by their beauty. There is nothing wrong with that is there?" The purple-haired girl said with a huff, clearly being miffed at the blue-haired woman for interrupting her time looking at the pretty purple flowers The blue-haired woman just shook her head at this but she sweatdropped as she pointed her finger at the ground near her feet. Looking at where she was pointing she found her friend Cilan on the ground with his eyes closed. Had she been dragging him around since she entered the gym? The dirt on his face and clothes were pretty good indicators of this. Quickly panicking Iris dropped to her knees to check on her friend. "Cilan are you okay? Speak to me! She said grabbing him by his shirt."

Cilan: "Grandpa you ran over another stop sign." The green-haired gym leader said briefly opening his eyes. This action caught Erika, Iris, and the children by surprise by him speaking as he surely looked to be unconscious but only to be met with bewilderment and a few chuckles at what he said.

30 minutes later

Erika: "Well I guess he is not coming." The blue-haired gym leader said with a sign. Too bad too I was hoping to meet him. Thought the blue-haired gym leader.

Children: Said children were sadly moping on the floor with a shadow of blue hanging over their entire bodies. (Imagine Brock whenever he hears the name, Professor Ivy.)

Iris: "Man I wanted to meet this new champion." The purple-haired girl said with anger evident in her tone of voice.

Cilan: "I share your feelings Iris, but the new champion probably has many important duties to perform that probably take up most of his day. Being a champion isn't as easy as most people make it out to be. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to reach that pinnacle. But the work that comes with being a champion is probably even harder than the battles it takes to get there!" The green-haired gym leader said in a matter in fact tone of voice.

Iris: "Hmm, I guess your right." The purple-haired girl said shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly, her anger quickly being forgotten. "But I was hoping we would see Ash! Said Iris anime tears coming out of her eyes like a river."

Cilan: "I was hoping that too Iris." Cilan said putting his arms on Iris's shoulder which got her to stop crying and look at her friend. "But even if we are thousands or even millions of miles apart from each other we will always have the memories of the time we spent together traveling together. The green-haired gym leader said with a confident smile.

Iris: "Hmm, I guess your right again Cilan. She said with a happy grin on her face.

Cilan: The green-haired gym leader just nods at this.

Erika: "I am sorry." The blue-haired gym leader said grabbing the attention of Iris and Cilan. "But the Ash you speak of wouldn't happen to be Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town would it?" She said with curiosity and a blush on her cheeks at the mention of her crush. Said blush going unnoticed by both Cilan and Iris. The first time she met Ash they didn't exactly eye to eye. With him insulting her perfume and her banning him from her gym for said comment about her perfume. Which she now regretted as he probably still remembered her as the gym leader who wouldn't let him battle her just because he insulted her perfume. Calling her perfume a waste of money wasn't even the rudest thing she ever heard about her perfume. But she was really sensitive about matters involving her store and gym. They were both gifts from her dear departed grandmother. So insulting her perfume was like insulting her grandmother and Erika would never stand for that. Her Grandmother is probably the kindest and nicest old lady you could ever come across. Hell, the women had raised Erika for Arceus's sake. Even though that responsibility lay with her parents and not her dear grandmother. But they had always been like that, never having time to spend with their only daughter. Hell, they didn't even stay for more than ten minutes after she was born and that was only to feed her the milk she needed from her mother's breasts. The second that was done they were out of the door faster than you could say bye. They were always dumping her with her grandmother instead of spending time with her. They never even gave a reason for it. She didn't even know her parents at all. All she knew about her parents was that they are very rich and very important to the company known as Silpha Co. Other than that, they were strangers to her. But never mind that now, I have to find out if these people were talking about Ash Ketchum!

Iris and Cilan: Both look nod at this.

Iris: "Yeah, we were kinda hoping that Ash would show up to meet this new champion! But knowing him he is probably in some far-off region traveling and training and collecting badges to enter the league of that region." She said sounding quite confident that is what he is doing right this very minute. You don't spend an entire year with someone and not get to know them. That kinda defeats the purpose of traveling in a group she thought.

Cilan: "But how do you know of Ash? Have the two of you met before?" Asked the green gym leader.

Erika: "Yes, we have met. But when we met we didn't see eye to eye at first." She said blushing in the embarrassment at the thought of said memory.

Cilan: "What do you mean miss?" The green-haired gym leader asked with curiosity

Iris: "Yeah, what do you mean" Asked the purple-haired trainer asked! Her curiosity got the better of her just like it had for Cilan.

Erika: "Well, When I had first met Ash face to face he had just insulted my perfume calling it a waste of money. I and my friends quickly disagree with the outright comment but he then commented that all perfume just makes lovesick zombies. Like his friend Brock whom he quickly collected to show as an example. Of course, Brock was the perfect example of a lovestruck zombie as he didn't even react even though Ash had just grabbed him from the glass window display of our store. Choosing to instead stare at me like I was a piece of meat!" She said with anger evident in her voice at the perverted behavior Brock had displayed that day.

Iris: "So what happened next?" Asked Iris not seeing where this story was exactly going. She didn't care for perfume that much either, only wearing it on special occasions.

Cilan: The green-haired gym leader just motions for Erika to continue with the story!

Erika: "Well then I and my friends kinda threw him out of the store and banned him for life from said store." She said sheepishly rubbing her hair in embarrassment.

Iris: "What do you mean by kinda threw him?" She said with anger evident in her voice.

Cilan: "Yes, whatever do you mean miss?" He said with venom in his voice at the harsh treatment of his friends for simply expressing his opinion!

Erika: "By kinda threw him out I meant we threw him out of the store. He then came to my gym for a challenge but I told him that since I owned both the perfume shop and the Celadon gym that meant he was banned from both for life. Then we kicked him out of the gym literally and to add insult to injury one of my friends stapped him with a big red x on his forehead outside the gym." She said looking at the ground as if there was something of great interest down there.

Iris: "You did what?" Iris shouted at the top of her lungs. The noise gathered the attention of everyone in the room who looked in on in confusion at the sound of the outburst. Iris looked ready to lunge at Erika like a Pidgey would to a Caterpie when getting ready to go for the kill, the only thing on its mind being satisfying its hunger. But before Iris could lunge at the blue-haired gym leader who was shaking in her komodo at the glare Iris was sending her way. Cilan grabbed her by the arms preventing the onslaught that would have occurred to Erika if Cilan hadn't intervened. "Let me go Cilan! It's time for me to teach this little bitch a lesson." She said with venom in her voice. "You do realize what you did was Illegal right?"

Erika: The blue-haired girl just raised a brow at the question. The fear she was experiencing just a few moments before was forgotten. "What was illegal?" The blue-haired gym leader asked Iris.

Iris: "Article 47 of the gym leader manual." She said as if it was the most common thing in the world while still being held back by the green-haired gym leader. This comment only got blank stares from everyone including Erika and Cilan who were both gym leaders and didn't even know. what in gods name Iris was talking about was the thought on everyone's mind right now. Quickly getting out of the hold Cilan was holding her in, she sent a glare at Erika and Cilan who quickly hugged each other in the hopes they would be spared Iris's wrath. This staredown lasted only for a couple of minutes before Iris just huffed in frustration and closed her while massaging her temples to relieve the headache these two little kids were giving her. "Article of the gym leaders manual states that a gym leader cannot deny a challenger a battle unless it's for the underlying reasons. One family emergency has occurred in the gym leader's family. Two said gym leader is sick and is unable to perform their duties due to said sickness. Three, the gym leader is sick and contagious and doesn't want to spread said sickness to other people Four, the gym leader is suffering a bout of depression or something that causes them to lose faith or question their abilities as a gym leader in some way whenever it is during battle or just life in general. Any other reason not mentioned in the provided text is a clear violation and abuse of a gym leader's authority and power. In addition, the occurrence will warrant an investigation which will determine if the gym leader is abusing said power or just not mentioned in the text provided by the book and is unfair to the gym leader. In which case, if deemed unfair, it will be added to the gym leader's manual, and said gym leader will not face any disciplinary and or fines or the loss of their gym leader position and the gym itself. However, if it is deemed the gym leader has abused their power and authority. Depending on the severity of it, the may result in disciplinary actions, fines, and or the possible loss of their gym leader status and gym." Said the purple-haired kid quite smugly. The news caused Erika's eyes to widen in fear.

Erika: She couldn't lose the gym, it was one of the two things that her grandmother had given to her. How could she face her grandmother again in the afterlife if she told her that she lost one of the most important things that her grandmother had entrusted to her? The very thought brought Erika to slump to the ground. Tears threatened to spill out of her eyes at the very thought of losing the gym.

Cilan: The green-haired gym leader tried to go over and comfort Erika. But he was quickly stopped by a glare sent his way courtesy of Iris.

Iris: "I wonder what would happen to your status and gym if I were to tell the league about this little event?" She said quite arrogantly and sarcastically knowing exactly what would happen if she told the league about what happened between Ash and Erika.

?: "That is enough Iris!" You taking this whole thing too far! Can't you see that you are making Erika cry? Said a figure from the front of the gym whose figure was being obscured by the light coming from outside.

Iris: Taking a closer look at the grass-type gym leader Iris could see that said gym leader was crying. This hadn't been what she wanted, she just wanted Erika to learn from her mistake and grow as a better gym leader. However, it looked like she hadn't come anywhere close to that. "Oh, I am sorry Erika! I didn't mean to upset you, I just got angry at what you did to my friend and didn't even think about what I was doing. The purple-haired girl said apologetically.

Erika: The blue-haired gym leader got off the ground and stoop up to wipe the remaining tears out of her eyes with her sleeve. But you could tell that she was still upset by the redness in her eyes and the tears still threatening to spill out with a ripple of snot running down her nose just slightly.

?: "You have nothing to worry about Erika!" Said the stranger gathering the entire room's attention but mostly the blue-haired gym leaders. The league already knew about your little incident. Causing everyone's eyes to go wide at this.

Erika: "But how?" Said Erika quite confused about how the league could already know about something that happened so long ago.

? The stranger still obscured by the light of the outside just chuckled. "The security cameras." The stranger said pointing at one of the cameras located up on the ceiling of the gym. "Those cameras can pick up just about any sound and record everything happening at this location." The stranger said casually.

Erika: "Huh, I completely forgot about those things." The blue-haired gym leader said blushing in embarrassment with Cilan and Iris joining in on embarrassment with their cheeks soon reselbing Erika's. While everyone in the room the stranger included just sweatdropped at this.

?: While the league was thinking of taking your gym leader status and the gym itself from you a trainer spoke on your behalf. Scolding the league for their behavior! Catching everyone by surprise that someone would dare confront the league directly. Most people just wrote a strongly worded letter.

Iris: "But the league didn't do anything wrong! Erika was the one who did something wrong." She said with confusion written all over her face.

?: The stranger just scoffed at this. Erika had only been the gym leader for three months at the time this incident took place. The pokemon Kanto league of that time was quick to fire gym leaders for making the simplest of mistakes with no investigation even being conducted or an explanation being given to the former gym leader of why they were even fired. A Pokemon trainer by the name of Ash Ketchum who had a lot of influence in the Kanto region spoke against the Kanto league. He said the league Kanto league was a disgrace to the rest of the world. That they were the lowest kind of scum on the earth. They expected gym leaders to be perfect at their jobs the second they were selected for the job. No, one can do their job to the best of their abilities at the start of their career. You slowly but surely work yourself up intel you reach the pinnacle of what it means to be a gym leader. By simply firing the gym leaders they didn't allow time they fix their mistakes and learn from them. If they did, they would have grown into better gym leaders as time went learning from their mistakes and growing as both a person and a gym leader. The main fault with this old Kanto league system was they expected perfection when humans are anything but perfection. Humans are flawed, and they will always be flawed in some shape or form. But with time and effort, humans can overcome these flaws and become better people in the process. To put it short and sweet the old Kanto league didn't allow you time to grow into your position."

Iris: "Wow, the old Kanto League sounds like a bunch of little kids," The purple-haired trainer said with a huff. "Who expects someone to do their job perfectly the second they start doing it?" It sounded completely and utterly ridonculous to the purple-haired trainer.

?: "Back then the old Kanto league was trying to assert themselves as the toughest region in the world. To do this, they were overly critical of the people who were applying for the job of gym leader. Thousands if not millions of people were denied the obernitunity to become gym leaders simply because they didn't live up to the expectation of the old Kanto league. They expected perfection right from the start. The Kanto league is the birthplace of the very first Pokemon league. You could say the Kanto league is the very birthplace of Professional Pokemon battles. Every league in the world that uses 8 gyms and four elite fours members and finally a champion is essentially copying the very foundation of the Kanto league. I guess with that in mind they believed they had to be as critical as possible to get the cream of the crop." The stranger said shrugging his shoulders in response to the league's behavior.

Iris: The purple-haired girl seem to be getting madder every time the stranger spoke. If the burning redness of her face that was growing redder and redder with every second that passed was anything to go by.

Cilan: Seeing his friend so angry, the green-haired gym leader quickly got to massaging his friend's shoulders as the tension from his continued to grow. This seemed to be working as Iris's face seems to be returning to its former shade of skin color.

Erika: The blue-haired gym eyes were as wide as dinner plants at the info she had heard from the stranger. Ash had spoken against the Kanto league for her to keep her job? That had to be the kindest gesture that anyone has ever done for her. She quickly turned as red as a tomato with the rest of her body following suit at the thought of what Ash had done for her. She quickly covered her face with her hands to hide her very embarrassment. Which wasn't necessary as everyone in the room was focused on the stranger.

?: "You shouldn't get so bent out of shape Iris!" Said the stranger getting the attention of the purple-haired girl. "The old Kanto league is long gone, most if not all the people who were a part of the group of people who decided on who became gym leaders have been dismissed from their position. The second Charles Good show found out what the Kanto league was doing to both applicants and gym leaders, the president of the Pokemon league quickly fired them and banned them from ever seeking employment in any league position simply because Good show didn't believe he could trust them anymore. So you don't have anything to worry about." The stranger said with a grin adorning his shadowy face.

Iris: "But, what they did was so wrong! How could anyone just up and forget about what they did? Those bastards deserve to be locked in a cell for abusing their power in such a manner" The purple-haired girl said with conviction in her voice. Erika and Cilan just nodded at this. Such abuse of that power on that kind of scale needed to be punished with jail time.

?: Don't worry Iris, the people who were wrong by the old Kanto League got justice in the end. Every one of those people who applied for the status of a gym leader came forward to sue the old Kanto league for all their worth. The bonus is that they are trying each case one by one. This means that any money those creeps made will be in the pockets of the people who they wronged. Plus they will probably be in and out of court for the remainder of their lives due to the large number of people they wronged with their authority."

Iris: The purple-haired girl just smiles at this information. "Good, people like that deserve to be punished for their crimes. While I would have preferred it had a prison, this punishment seems to be just as effective as jail time. But you still haven't explained one thing!

?: "Oh, and what is that?" The stranger said with curiosity.

Iris: "How do you know about any of this? The Pokemon leagues are not ones to admit they did anything wrong and especially not publically. Most matters such as these are usually conducted in secret with the trials and or hearings being secret as well. So how do you know anything about this matter involving Ash and Erika?"

?: "That is quite a simple Iris"

Said the stranger who moved out of the way of obscurity for everyone to see what he looked like. He was easily 6ft tall and quite strong looking if the muscles accompanying his legs and arms were anything to go by. The black shirt and tight blue jeans looked like they were at their absolute limit and would split apart revealing his naked body to everybody watching him. Of course, Iris and Erika wouldn't mind in the slightest they both thought directly. Of course, looking strong and being strong were two completely different things. But the proof was in the pudding as one might say. Because said strangers had a six-pack his black t-shirt adorned with a lightning bolt in the middle of it failed to hide the beautiful sight that Erika and Iris both drooled at a little. Further proving that this strange was not a man to be messed with Said stranger had messy black unkempt hair hidden under a cap that resorbed something a baseball player would wear.

?: "So recognize me now?" Said the stranger with a Cheshire grin on his face.

Iris Cilan Erika: "Nope," They said looking at the stranger even stranger than before. Did they know this man was the thought running through Iris, Erika, and finally Cilan's minds?

?: The stranger was not expecting this falling-on-the-ground anime style. Did they not recognize him? Well, I have changed a lot in the looks department so I guess it is understandable that those three wouldn't recognize me at first glance.

Iris: "So who are you?" Asked Iris staring curiously at the stranger on the floor? With Cilan and Erika mirroring her expression thinking about what Iris was asking the stranger.

?: Hearing the question but deciding that regaining his footing was more important the stranger got off the ground. Then the stranger started dusting off his pants intel no dust remained on his tight blue jeans. "Who I am is irrelevant. However, if you are so interested in learning who I am I propose a battle. This got the children moping on the floor to quickly fall out of sadness, and instead feel excited at the prospect of witnessing a Pokemon battle.

Cilan: "Pardon my rudeness, sir! But why must we participate in a battle to learn your name? It seems easier for you to just tell as me and my acquaintances and can't seem to remember your name. ?: "Hmm, that is a fair question! The reason we must battle is quite simple.

Iris: "Which is?" The purple-haired girl said raising one of her brows at the stranger.

?: To put it simply I haven't seen Erika, Cilan or you in a long time and I wish to test your abilities in battle. But the main reason for this and by far the most important for why we must battle being...I am bored and want to beat this boredom with a Pokemon battle. The second these words left the stranger's mouth everybody in the room fell down anime-style at the stranger's main reason for wanting to battle Erika, Iris, and finally Cilan.

Iris: "That's it." The purple-haired girl said regaining her footing off the ground and staring at the stranger incredulously. You want Erika, Cilan, and myself to battle you separately to beat you out of your boredom.

?: "No, no, no," The stranger said waving his hands from the side in a dismissing motion indicating that is not what he meant. "What I want is to face you three all at once." The stranger said clarifying what he wanted. Erika, Cilan, and Iris just narrowed their eyes furiously at the stranger. Did this stranger think that they were pushovers was the respective thought that was circling through the heads of Cilan, Erika, and Iris? All the kids in the room just stared at the stranger like he was an idiot. Didn't he know that trainers are only allowed to battle one trainer at a time? Anyone who took three trainers on at once was either stupid or crazy for thinking they could defeat three trainers at once.

This mysterious stranger seems to believe he can take on Iris, Erika, and finally Cilan all at once. Can he back it? You will have to read the next chapter to find out!

Please give me any feedback you can think of and anything that I can use to improve my writing style in general.
