3rd Person (P.O.V)

Cassie looked between both her mates not knowing what to do with them as they glared at each other. She sighed as she released her wand from its holster, the tip peeking out from under the sleeve of her sweater. She flicked her wrist slightly sending a stinging hex to both of them causing them to jump.

"Keep glaring at each other like children and I'll hex you again". Cassie said as Edward and Jacob looked at her with widen eyes.

"What the hell was that it felt like I was stung by a bee". Jacob said as he rubbed his behind to ease the pain.

"It's a simple stinging hex. Listen I understand you two are natural born enemies because of your species but I don't have the time or the patience to be stuck in the middle of your glaring matches. Fate put all three of us together but I will not choose between either of you. If your not willing to put your differences aside for my sake then I don't think our relationship will work". Cassie said as she ran her fingers through her hair. Neither of her mates like what she had said as they couldn't be with her.

Cassie didn't want to send her mates away but she's been through a lot in her life and she just wanted to live a peaceful life. She's earned the right to be happy and raise her son the way she should have been raised, he's her strongest motivation in life.

"I don't think our kind will ever get along but I'm willing to try for your sake". Edward said sighing as he uncrossed his arms.

"I know Sam the Alpha and the pack isn't going to accept this but they will just have to deal with it". Jacob said knowing what was going to happen within the pack as he refused to let his imprint go.

"Well glad you two can agree on something. You know Jacob if your pack can't accept our unorthodox relationship you can always create your own pack. It's possible since where I'm from triad relationships aren't uncommon even harems have been documented". Cassie said smirking as her mates jaws dropped.

"Your world would really accept our type of relationship?". Edward asked after he regain his composure.

"Well not our type, where I come from they would accept a triad relationship unfortunately they wouldn't accept ours due to our species. If I had been with two wizards or even a which it wouldn't have been a problem, but the British magical world has always been prejudice of people that aren't a witch or wizard so vampires, werewolves, veelas or mermaids, they are look down upon. I left my world for that reason especially being the savior of the magical world and the Lady to ancient and noble houses I couldn't continue with the life they were trying to set out for me". Cassie explains as her mind wandered to what the future holds in store. Edward and Jacob watch their mate as her hand goes to her forhead tracing over the lightning bolt shape scar.

"What do you mean Savior?". Jacob asked as Cassie eyes re-focused on her surroundings.

"Easy I was a child soldier, raised as a pig for slaughter by someone my parents thought they could trust. By the time I was 17 I was fighting the end of a war that started decades before my birth until a few months ago. I was given the title of General expected to marry and carry on my family name since I'm the last of my line. The British magical world is so small many families have gone extinct since the 1940s". Cassie continue to explain ignoring both of her mates growling when she mentioned marriage.

"This is a lot of information to process". Edwards said running his hands over his face, trying to calm his vampire instincts.

"The information I've told you is only a fraction of my life story". Cassie said snorting, wondering how they would react to everything she's been through once she's trusted them more.

"A fraction your kidding, right?". Jacob asked incredulously.

"I wish but no there's a lot of things I won't tell either of you anytime soon. We barely know each other, I will slowly open up once I've trust you as I have trust issues. If your serious in pursuing a relationship with me despite everything I've already said then the three of us will go on a date this weekend". Cassie said wanting the first date to be between the three of them. It wouldn't be fair to either of her mates for her to pick and it wouldn't be fair to her if they've made her pick between them. Her eyes when to Edward as she started talking again. "You have until the day before our date to get your priorities straight and decide what you will do with your engagement with Bella Swan. If you want to pursue me as your mate I need to know your serious about us as I don't have the time to be with someone who is indecisive". Edward sighted as he nodded his head.

Had he been human he would already be having a migraine as there was a lot of problems he caused that he had to set straight, he honestly didn't know whether or not he would be going home as he knew Rosalie would be there waiting for him he shuddered at the thought .He was also at a loss of what he would do with Bella after he would end their relationship once again.

"Cassie, you should be aware Bella isn't going to give up easily as this would be the second time the vampire broke up with her". Jacob said trying to hide the smirk at the predicament a vampire found himself in. He did his best to ignore the voice in his head, that told him he could have been in the same position as he previously had pursued Bella Swan.

"Well lucky for Edward I'm a witch, I will not have a mundane meddling in my life. Also Jacob I want the both of you to refer to each other by name and not by species we are adults or more teenagers with adult lives. I will not tolerate any type of disrespect between the two of you. Are we clear?". Cassie hissed which made her mates shutter.

"We're clear". Jacob said blushing as Edward was smirking before it faltered heard the thought that were coming from the young shapeshifter.

"Glad to hear it. Now I may be the owner but I have to get back to work. Give me both your number so we can get in contact". Cassie said as she dug into her pocket, taking out her phone which was protected with rune magic. She couldn't believe how far behind magical Britain had been compared to America.

"Your the owner?". Edward asked eyes widen as he was retrieving his phone.

"Yup, I did mention I'm the lady to multiple old houses. I'm the proud owner of many businesses that have been in the family for generations in both the magical and mundane world but this bookstore was the one I started myself". Cassie said proudly grabbing Edward phone first. She was proud of herself as her grandfather on her dad side had started a potions hair care business.

Jacob stayed quiet as his mate talked, he was feeling a bit uncomfortable as his family didn't come from money. There wasn't much he would be able to offer Cassie, his life was tied down to La Push. He wouldn't be able to go to college, he barely attended high school since he shifted as he was told his main duty was to protect his people and land.

Cassie looked at Jacob who wasn't looking at her anymore, as his inner turmoil started to expand as Cassie wasn't like the girls from the reservation. She was the first outsider imprint and she wasn't human she was a witch. What could someone like him have to offer someone like her as she was in Edward Cullen lead. He was a simple Shapeshifter native who was good as a mechanic and was taking care of his father as his sisters left town years ago.

"Hey Jake are you alright?". Cassie asked worriedly as Jacob handed his phone over without a word.

"I'm fine just alot on my mind". Jacob muttered as he accepted his phone back, stuffing into his pocket.

Edward sighed as he was able to read the wolfs mind. It wasn't his place to get involved, but from the simple conversation he had with Cassie he can tell she wasn't that type of person to be materialistic. He couldn't read her thoughts nor her sister but he could tell they were good people.

"I'm here if you need to talk". Cassie said even though she knew her mate was hiding something from her,she wouldn't push him.

"Thank you, well we should let you get back to work". Jacob said all the excitement he had been feeling earlier had been turned to ash throughout the meeting. He was now feeling tired and unable to look at Cassie eyes.

"I'll see you two Saturday". Cassie said smiling lightly as she had to control her morphing abilities as it threatens to turn white when she was sad. Her werewolf mate wasn't looking her in the eyes like he had been doing earlier.

Edward smiled and Jacob nodded before they left her office, Cassie sighed her mind going in circles wondering what was going on with Jake. She was already beyond exhausted from the day and wanted to go home already, to spend some time with Teddy the son she would have to mention on Saturday as she refused to hide him.
