TMNT: A new beginning

Two boys of 15 come into the tmnt universe to help fight the evil that is corrupting New York city. In order to do this, they must become someone else. something more. A symbol: This is a story of the Nighthawk and the Archer. The first story is gonna take place in the 2007 universe, but it will have 2003 elements towards it.

1. Prologue

A new world

Prologue:

There is nothing but complete darkness, then the camera turns to a cloud, and shows an angle, flying over New York City.

Narrator: There is a time, where one's destiny is questioned and another that is fulfilled. We do not know where the true path lies for us, but destiny is, what we might call it, a funny thing. For at times, it can appear when we least expect it to. Our fates can be chosen for us, but it is we who must make these decisions to impact our future. My name is Splinter, Master of the ancient arts in ninjitsu, and I am here to tell you a tale of how unlikely heroes come into our world and fight alongside us in the name of honor and justice.

A hawk flies over the city, and the camera angle follows. As the hawk flies, it makes a few turns around each building, and then it comes to the empire state building. The animal flies over, and suddenly, it freefalls and flies downward. The bird looks it is about to hit the ground. It flies closer and closer, but then, the camera is complete black.

Narrator: Our story begins in the city that never sleeps, where crime and violence is spread out into the streets. Innocent people suffer at the hands of two criminal organizations known as the Foot and the Purple Dragons. They terrorize the citizens of New York and has influenced their crimes to all parts of the city. The terror and chaos that they cause force families to stay into their homes. Citizens are murdered and businesses are overrun by the dragons. Even the police cannot handle the turmoil that is running rapid.

Purple dragons are shown driving around the city, causing chaos, robbing banks, mugging innocents. Their awareness is spread with their "Dragon" Symbol. The foot run across the rooftops, leap over obstacles and jump off rooftops. They silently land on the ground. A camera angle points at officers driving to hunt down the criminals but are overrun.

Narrator: The Foot and the dragons have made aware that they are indeed in control and no one, or nothing, can stand in their way. They spread fear and let the citizens believe that there is no hope. I have trained my four sons Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, in the ways of ninja, in hope that they can indeed fight the forces that drive the city they call "home" to ruins. They are known as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and they are not only a team, but a family that want to protect the citizens of New York by fighting the Dragons and the Foot, but even I fear that they will not be enough to face their enemies and to save New York from the corruption within. Although our human allies help protect our secret and fight alongside us, these gangs and their leaders will be too powerful for them to handle.

Another camera angle points to two katana blades, two Sais, a Staff, and nun chucks swinging and twirling around, signifying that they are prepared for battle. The camera then switches to the foot symbol, flames pouring out randomly as the camera zooms in closer to the sign. Then there is complete darkness once again.

Narrator: Destiny is a funny thing. It can arrive unexpectedly to those who are not aware of it, even in most unfamiliar places.
