Chapter 1: To another region
Well, it was thought to be impossible, but it happened. Ash is bored.
After the World Coronation ended, with Ash as the victor, defeating very powerful trainers like Bea, Cynthia, Raihan, and the World Monarch himself Leon, Ash felt like he was on top of the world. And in a way, he is, defeating the strongest trainer in the world is not an easy to feat to pull off.
However, that sort of feat also tends to have its drawbacks.
After the World Coronation series, Ash couldn't turn around a corner without being hounded by some raving reporter, eager to get some dirt on him and his friends. There was also the fact that some annoying Leon fans attempted to discredit his defeat, and at one point, all tried to battle him in a heavily outnumbered match.
It didn't end so well for them.
Another downside is that there weren't much battles that really pushed his skills to the limits, either the trainers were too scared to fight him, or they were too cocky and headstrong to focus on any strategy.
Ash: (sigh) Sometimes I wish that I had lost to Leon, it just got so boring now
"Pika pika"
His first ever Pokemon, his trusty Pikachu was merely sitting down near him as they saw the rest of Ash's Pokemon roam around the Poke corral, with the Tauros herd doing their usual charging, the water types were swimming at a nearby lake, and the grass and bug types were hanging out at the nearby woods.
Ash: Don't you wish there was somewhere else to do Pikachu?
"Chuuu..."
That was when his Rotom Phone rang up, and he checked it.
Ash: Hmm... What's this?... Tresure Hunt?... Paldea region?!
"Pikachu?"
Ash then stood up and let out a chuckle.
Ash: Get ready Pikachu, because we are tackling a new region
Scene cut
Nemona: (phew) That's another problem solved
Paldea's star student was exhausted as she had dealt with the punks of Team Star who were harassing students to join them. But as usual, she stepped in and dealt with them easily.
Nemona: If this keeps up then I may end up dropping in my grades
She sat up from her bed and went over to her kitchen to make herself a stew.
Nemona: We need someone that can inspire the students and be a beacon for them, someone that can help them through dire times, someone like... like... Ash Ketchum
Just as she said that, she got a phone call.
Nemona: Hello?... You want to see me?... Ok, I'll see you soon, just let me eat my stew
As she hung up, she didn't know that tomorrow would end up be a wish granted for her, as she would meet the trainer that conquered Leon.
The next day
Ash and Pikachu both got off of the plane as they stretched their limbs.
Ash: Ahhh. nothing like stretching your legs after a long flight
"Piiiikaaa"
Ash: And look at all of the new Pokemon
He found various kinds of Pokemon he never saw before like Lechonk, Squackabilly, Tarountula, and Bombirdier. One Pokemon in particular caught his interest, which was a green lizard with a circular throat and a curled tail that made it look like a motorcycle.
Ash: I can tell we will like this place already, won't we guys?
As he said that, he then released his other 5 Pokemon, Lapras, Torterra, Swellow, Sirfetch'd, and Donphan.
Ash: Alright guys, welcome to Paldea
All of his Pokemon roared in delight, excited about the prospect of a new adventure ahead of them.
Ash: We should head to the Narava (combination of Naranja and Uva) Academy, the head wants me to meet him there
And with that, they are off, ready for the challenges they are to face, however, what they don't realize, is that the challenges they will face will be of a different sort.
Scene Cut
Nemona was just checking the students of Professor Jacq's homeroom, and currently she was about to meet with the director of the academy Clavell. However, as she was heading on her way, she saw a couple of punks from Team Star harassing a girl with an Eevee backpack.
Star Grunt 1: Come on kid join us, we'll make you shine as bright as a star
Girl: Umm...
Star Grunt 2: Yeah, I promise you won't regret this
Nemona: Ugh, not again, I better take care of these punks
?: Hey! What's going on here?
Nemona then saw a raven haired boy with a Pikachu on his shoulder.
Star Grunt 1: Hey, who's this bozo?
Star Grunt 2: Who cares, he wants to mess with us, he gets the pain
The grunts then sent out their Pokemon, which consist of a Spidops and Maschiff.
Ash: A couple of low level grunts, child's play, Sirfetch'd, Swellow, teach them a lesson
He sends out his bird Pokemon to do battle, and the grunts could feel the power emanating from.
Star Grunt 1: Hold on, I recognize this guy, it's Ash Ketchum!
Star Grunt 2: You mean that trainer that defeated Leon!?
Star Grunt 1: I never thought I'd say this but, LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!
They both recalled their Pokemon and they made a mad dash out of the academy.
Nemona: Wow, who was that?
?: That my friend, is our newest teacher
Nemona turned around to see Clavell smiling at the new arrival. Meanwhile, Ash was greeting the girl he had saved.
Ash: Are you ok?
Girl: (blushes) Um, yes, thanks
Ash: No problem, what's your name by the way?
Girl: My name? It's Penny
Ash: Penny huh? I'll be sure to remember that, but I guess you have a class to attend
Penny: Oh you're right, see you later
She ran off and Ash recalled his Pokemon, eventually heading inside the academy building himself.
Nemona: I think he will be a great professor
