A/N: As i said earlier, here's the second part. Though, it's, once again, completely random. I may actually continue this.

I have no idea when it became a slight TalaxBryan. I am not disappointed though, hope you aren't either.

Sleeping Patterns ll

The sun had risen, yet lying hidden behind the heavy mist that hung over the whole city of Moscow. The winter birds chirping outside, the streets and shops filling with the hustle and bustle of the people indicating the beginning of yet another day.

The coldness, though, made it quite the more difficult for certain someones to leave their warm blankets, especially the ones not expected at schools or work places.

Spencer, though, woke up against the reluctance of the comforting bed, leaving his room and going to the kitchen for making some coffee for himself and the other four occupants of the Blitzkrieg household.

Turning the coffee machine on, he hummed to himself while looking out the foggy window, his mind following a tuneless hum before he brought his attention back to the coffee machine, his mind calming at the soothing aroma of the dark liquid.

Picking the cup up and taking a small sip, feeling himself awaken at an instant, he made his way upstairs to wake the sorry asses of his team members up.

'Idiots', he thought, 'Never wake up on their own. As if I am their personal alarm.'

Pushing open the door to Tala and Bryan's bedroom, he widened his eyes at the strewn about yet empty beds, raising a brow before making his way to the next one, being Kai's.

Stepping into the almost dark room, he cautiously tredded towards the bed, trying to acknowledge whether the bluenette was there or had gone off to his usual lone wanderings.

Another eyebrow also rose as his eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness and locked onto the three teenagers sleeping on the bed.

Drawing off the curtains, he took another look at the sleepers and his lips twitched into a smirk, clearly amused at the sight.

Tala, with his arms drawn around Kai's waist and legs tangled with the others, slept with a peaceful expression on his defined face, as if he weren't the Ice Prince himself.

Bryan, as his normal posture while sleeping was, lay straight on his back, though his head leaned a bit to the right and was settled on Kai's shoulder, his breathing soft, yet Spencer knew he'd wake up the instant any danger was near him.

Kai, trapped between the older two, also lay on his back, though he was completely turned to Bryan as Tala was snuggling into him and hadn't given him much of a free space to lie properly. With Bryan's head on his shoulder, and Tala's face nearly hidden in the crook of his neck, he looked older than the other two, providing them with a secure sense none other could.

The blanket, mostly on the floor by Tala's side, had totally slipped off from over Bryan, and only barely covered Kai. Tala though, was fully covered with it, and Spencer realized, he had one more blanket lying over him.

'Must of snatched it from Bryan, I did hear them bickering last night.'

Chuckling lightly, Spencer took the blanket off the floor, and laid it properly over the three, before leaving the room and going to wake Ian up.

"Hey, Ian, come on wake up now," Spencer gently shook the teen's shoulder, to which two maroon eyes blinked open and stared at him as if he had grown another head before clocking onto his surroundings and gaining his senses.

Muttering an unintelligible word under his mouth, he lifted himself up and went downstairs after Spencer.

"Where's those three?" he questioned to the blonde haired, not used to waking up before 'those three'.

"They're sleeping, let them be," Spencer voiced, before handing Ian another cup of coffee, and sitting down with his own mug at the table.

Icy blue orbs opened, blinking a few times to get rid of the blurry coat over them, before the redhead let out a yawn and pulled the other closer, gained a protesting grunt from him.

He lifted his head up, sleepy eyes taking in the faces of the other two before leaning down and placing his forehead at the top of the bluenette's.

After gazing at the sleeping calm face for a few minutes, another yawn escaped him and he pulled himself off of the other, taking a pillow and throwing it over Bryan's head, the latter groaning annoyedly at his captain, though the bedhead made him look quite the less dangerous than normal.

Hearing the commotion between the two, Kai also woke up, only warily aware of the fact that his upper half was being used as a bed for Tala, before the redhead's weight pushed him down again.

He groaned and tried to push the unwanted weight away with no success.

'Damn, when did he get so heavy? Well I did see him eating those overly sugared snacks frequently.'

Tala turned towards the bluenette when he felt him trying to push him away, giving him a painful shove in his ribs before he applied a bit more force on Kai, preventing him from moving his arms, to which the latter sighed frustrated before leaning his head back on the pillow again and closing his eyes.

Seeing the crimson orbs disappear behind pale eyelids, the redhead pouted before getting off of Kai and lying next to him, shaking him gently to get his attention.

"What?" Kai spat at him, irritated at having gotten such an annoying start to the day, still not opening his eyes.

Not having gotten a reply, he opened them to look at the redhead, rolling his eyes as the redhead seemed to be sulking, before grabbing his wrist and pulling him closer, running a hand through the untamed red hair.

Tala's face lighted up, nuzzling his head childishly under Kai's chin, making the other get even more agitated, but not giving a fuck about that.

Kai muttered a few curses under his breathe, but his form relaxed as he let another wave of drowsiness to pull him back to sleep, the presence of two people around him providing more than enough warmth in contrast to the harsh winter day.

He felt a movement behind and looked over his shoulder to see Bryan sitting up and letting out a yawn, before smokey blue eyes locked with his.

Bryan snorted at the sight of Tala clung to Kai like a toddler, though a slight streak of jealousy ran through his mind as to why Tala had never done that to him before, which he quickly erased away with a shake of his head.

Kai raised an eyebrow at him, his lips turning into a smirk the longer he watched Bryan staring at Tala. Oh he had it bad...

"Wanna take my place?" he offered, his voice innocent, quite opposite to the evil thoughts running through his mind.

Bryan's face flustered, and he looked away from him, suddenly finding the wall opposite him very interesting.

Kai turned towards Tala, just to realize that the redhead had fallen asleep again, tucking him properly under the blanket which he had kicked off after waking up earlier.

He watched the sleeping face just as Tala had done to his a while ago, vaguely noticing Bryan getting out of the bed and taking himself out of the room.

He sighed before closing his eyes, there was supposed to be a blizzard today according to the weather reports, so he had an excuse not to go out to get works done, he could just stay in bed all day and laze around, only, his body wouldn't allow him. He wasn't accustomed to sleep much longer than five hours most of the time, and the clock beside his bed told him that he had already slept through nine hours. Oh well...

He leaned closer to the redhead and closed his eyes, his mind shutting down almost immediately and loosing himself into slumber, while a freezing wind picked up its speed outside, the tell tale signs of a heavy snow fall coming, making people hide in safer places.

Bryan went down the stairs with a sour face, though Spencer and Ian didn't seem to take notice of that as it wasn't much different to the one he normally had.

He growled inwardly, his body slackened with sleepiness as he grudgily descended the steps, barely suppressing a yawn before setting himself down on the chair next to the snake, giving him a whack on the head just because he felt like it.

Ian turned to him, frustration written all over his face as he landed a punch on the other's shoulder which seemed to have no effect on him.

Spencer sighed, the day had just started and their bickering had already started. Thankfully the other two demons were still asleep.

He stood up and made Bryan a cup of the hot black coffee before placing it in front of him, getting a grunt in response, which was pretty close to a thankyou in Bryan's dictionary. Then again, you better not engage yourself with trying to understand Bryan's way with words, or you'd go crazy, if you already weren't.

"What's up with Tala and Kai? They never sleep that much, okay, Tala does, but Kai, never," Ian said.

Spencer shrugged.

"Let them, it's better to have them asleep than awake," he replied, disappointed that Bryan had waken up. He was really hoping for some peaceful hours of silence, but since the falcon was up, there was no way to stop him from getting in useless quarrels with Ian.

The blizzard outside seemed to have picked up its speed now, the wind cutting through the sky accompanied with the bone-numbing snow. The sound of it mercilessly hitting the floors and roofs of the houses and the streets, creating an unrhymed melody of swishes and whirls.

A chill seemed to travel up their spines as a particularly fast blowing gust of snow hit the window of the kitchen forcefully, leaving moisture drops to trickle down the blurred glass pane.

Ian wrapped his arms around his torso, before muttering out, "Is the heater even working?"

"It is working, Ian. You are just over-reacting," Spencer said, though his own skin lined with goosebumps as the cold that seemed to have seeped through the walls inside surrounded him.

Bryan seemed a lit less bothered by it, sitting with a remote expression, wearing a sleeveless dark green top, his bare arms standing out against the dark color of the clothing, making them feel even more cold.

"I can't stand this fucking cold," Ian exclaimed, before walking towards the living room and jumping on one of the couches, burying himself in the several layers of blankets that lied on it. He groped about them before finally lifting his hand up as if in a victory, his Nintendo Switch in it, before he snuggled back in the covers, getting lost in playing.

Bryan rolled his eyes before standing up too, making his way upstairs, leaving Spencer alone.

He went straight past his and Tala's room and entered the door to Kai's, striding past the bed where the two lay and towards the window, sitting down at its edge, looking over the whitened world, seeming so colorless yet pure.

He closed his eyes and leaned towards the window, his cheek resting against the cold surface of the glass, bringing a numbness over the skin, though he ignored it.

A shiver ran through his body as he watched the ceaseless snow pelting down, the temperature lowering just a tad with each passing minute.

He groaned as an urge to hide his bare arms from the freezing onslaught overwhelmed him, getting up and going towards the bed.

Tala lay on his side with his face buried in Kai's neck, while the other had an arm protectively wrapped around him, both dead to the world, lost in whatever reckless dreams the mind conjured up with no actual reason.

He slowly and almost hesitantly sat down on the edge of the bed, bringing his hand towards before removing it, realizing that it was icy cold. Had the heaters really stopped working?

Kai shifted in his sleep, turning over and lying on his back, and as in a robotic movement, Tala moved closer to him, his head now resting on his chest.

Their faces looked so serene, so free of pain and stress, almost glowing with genuine peace, that he felt reluctant to move, fearing that his movements could wake them up from their seemingly calm reverie.

Kai's face looked so young, so childlike, without his trademark face-paint, and with his almost permanent frown invisible for the moment, he looked so innocent and pure that Bryan felt it wasn't even Kai in the first place.

Tala's face illuminated the childish mischief that he had a streak of in his younger years, his face too, a picture of peace and tranquility. The sharp cheekbones resting just at the right place beneath the flawless skin, giving his face a handsome and attractive look. The fiery red eyelashes that encircled the lower part of his closed eyes, which hid the most eniticing cerrulian eyes that he had ever seen, gave his forehead a complimentary look, which was overshadowed by a mass of locks the same color as theirs.

Bryan pulled out of his staring as a hand tugged at his side, jerking his head towards the source of it, finding two ruby looking at him blearily.

Kai pulled on his arm and made him lie down next to him, offering him the corner of the blanket, pulling it a little from over the redhead to which he whined softly before settling back in his sleep.

Bryan almost let out a sigh of relief as his freezing arms were surrounded by comforting heat, his gaze falling on Kai who was still staring at him enquiringly.

He raised an eyebrow, not knowing the other's intentions.

"What is it?" Kai whispered.

"What is what?" he retorted, getting agitated.

"What's with you staring at Tala?"

Bryan rolled his eyes, though his face flushed, not visible in the dark, for which he was quite thankful.

"What's with your nosing around?"

Kai shrugged.

"Fine, be an asshole then," he said, turning his back to him once again and closing his eyes.

Bryan glared at his back, before letting out a murmur which consisted of several vulgarities and turning to stare at the ceiling.

A little while later, a whisper of a sound that was not Kai's fell onto his ears, and he side-eyed the two, his gaze falling on Tala who seemed to be awake now, and was talking in a soft tone to Kai.

He rolled his eyes and stared at the ceiling, though kept trying to eavesdrop on their conversation, which he just heared little bits of.

"Bryan?"

It seemed, Tala had finally noticed that he was also there, lifting his upper body off the bed and looking at him over Kai.

He looked back at him.

A small smirk formed on Tala's lips and he pulled Bryan's shirt towards himself, making him shift closer to the bluenette, before getting back in his previous position.

"So fucking cold," he exclaimed, and wrapped the blanket tighter around him.

"You are always cold," Kai said, his voice muffled by a yawn. "Fuck's sake, I feel so lazy."

Tala snickered at that, while Bryan's lips twitched into a teaseful smirk.

"Don't tell me you're complaining," Tala said.

"I'm not, its just, different," Kai replied, still not over the fact that he, the Kai Hiwatari was in the bed when it was almost noon.

"It's nice," Tala added, before shifting his attention to Bryan, who now had his eyes closed.

"What's Spencer and Ian doing?"

"The midget was playing on his Nintendo, and Spencer is maybe reading a book, I don't fucking know," he drawled out.

Tala nodded, looking at the window.

"Geez, what would it feel like if we were caught in that blizzard instead of lying here all cozied up like some lazy ass idiots?"

They all decided they didn't want an answer to that, after all, lying on a warm bed with blankets strewn all about which let out even more heat was much more comforting in the harshness of the cold, instead of actually being out in the freezing winter. It was a nice feeling lazing around and not having a care about the world, and they decided to enjoy some more of it.

Scooting closer to Kai, which was almost impossible given that he was already glued to the other's side, he gave Bryan a hard nudge on the ribs before lying back down, closing his eyes as the soothing familiarity of their presence calmed him.

Guess a little bit more sleep wouldn't hurt...
