Chapter 11: How Do We Fix This?

Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and Jacob were all making their way along the trail completely unaware that Anna got left behind. If what Bertram said was true, they should be coming to the house any moment now seeing as how they have walked a couple miles already. "How much longer is it until we get there? My legs are killing me.", Sven said. "We should be almost there. And what are you complaining about, Sven? You got four legs to walk on while we only have two.", Jacob said. "Am I right, Anna?", Jacob asked Anna who didn't give a response. He looked around but could not see the princess anywhere in sight. "Uh, guys. Where the hell is Anna?", Jacob asked. The other four all looked around as it was only now that they realized Anna was no longer with them. "Anna? Anna!", both Elsa and Kristoff shouted as they became extremely concerned that she wasn't with them. "I thought it was not like Anna to stay quiet for so long.", Olaf said. "The same could be said for you.", Sven said to the snowman. "Touche.", Olaf said. "You don't think she got stuck back at the castle, do you?", Jacob asked. "I hate to admit it, but that must be what happened. She would still be with us if that wasn't the case.", Kristoff said. "We have to go back and get her!", Elsa said. "Agreed! Let's head back!", Kristoff agreed. Jacob peered up ahead and saw the house that they were looking for. "I think I see the house just up ahead.", Jacob said. "Who cares? We have to get Anna before that bastard kills her!", Kristoff said. "I'm worried about her too, Kristoff. But other than saving Anna, we have to break whatever magic bullshit Hans cast on his brothers so they can come back to their senses, dethrone that fucker and lock his ass back up. The house is right there, so why don't we meet this magic creature that gave Hans the dust and he can tell us how to undo it, and then we'll rescue her.", Jacob said. "But what if we would be too late? What if he kills her while we're in there?", Kristoff said with dread in his voice. "I'm conflicted with what to do as well, Kris. Hans did say he wouldn't execute any of us until tonight and the house is right there. Why don't we try to make it quick in there and then make it back to the castle.", Elsa said. Kristoff wasn't sure what to do as he didn't want to do anything else until his girlfriend was with them again. "Okay, but we better not be too late.", Kristoff agreed. They all rushed down towards the house and went inside where the place seemed to be completely empty. However, some stuff did look used which showed someone or something had been there. "Hello? Anybody home?", Elsa asked as they all went in. There was no answer from anyone or anything. "Look, is there some kind of magic thing here or not?", Jacob asked again more impatiently. This time there came an answer in the form of an impish voice. "What do you want?", the voice asked. Out from the corner from shelf came the one they were searching for. "I was getting some much needed sleep before I woken up by you. Now what do you want?", the sprite said impatiently. "So, you're the goblin that gave Hans some magic dust?", Kristoff asked. "Okay, for the last time, I'm not a goblin, I'm a hobgoblin.", he said with great annoyance. "Well, what the hell's the difference?", Elsa asked. "You see...never mind. It doesn't matter. Now why are you here?", Pariah asked. "We're here because apparently you gave a devious prince some magic junk to hypnotize his brothers into being his slaves.", Jacob said. "Oh, yes. The young Prince Hans did end up using the dust I gave him on the king and the others. What's it to you?", Pariah asked. "What's it to us is that he tricked us into coming here just so he can kill us all! Now, he's got my girlfriend and he's going to kill her if you don't tell us how to stop him and snap the king out of his trance.", Kristoff said. "And why should I help you?", Pariah asked still sounding annoyed even though he was aware there were lives on the line. They all became angry at how much attitude the little creep was giving them, but not as much as Elsa. The whole room began to feel very cold as Elsa began to create angry flurries in the small house. She then conjured some icicles that were pointed right at the hobgoblin in order to get him to talk. "Listen to me, you little shit! My sister's life is on the line! If you don't pull your small head out of your small ass, I'll shove these icicles straight up it instead! Now tell us how to break the hold Hans has on his brothers!", Elsa angrily demanded. "Okay, okay! Just chill, lady!", the hobgoblin pleaded. "I'm the queen of chill!", Elsa shot back. "Just stop with the icicle thing you have going on and I'll help you out.", Pariah said. Elsa did just that made her icicles disappear. "I had a feeling that spoiled prince would get carried away with the stuff I gave him and that it wouldn't end pretty. So, I was able to concoct a different kind of magic dust that should restore a person's willpower. In other words, it should reverse the effects of the dust I originally gave him. You just have to find some way to give it to his brothers so they can snap out of their trance.", Pariah said. He then pulled a small bag out from the shelf he was in and handed it to the queen. "So, are we cool?", Pariah asked. "Like I said, I am the queen of stuff like that. We're cool when I say we are. Seeing as how this is your fault, you're coming with us.", Elsa demanded. Pariah rolled his eyes and did as she said and left with them. "Want a hug?", Olaf offered the sprite. "Don't touch me, freak.", Pariah said. "Okay.", Olaf replied. They all made their way down the path and back to the castle to rescue Anna, stop Hans, and free his brothers from their trance.
