I love Hinata and Neji, my fav characters, other than Lee. So nuisanced and complex.

Mika frowned as he looked at Hinata, she had just started to arrive, meek and weak looking as always. Her father followed her, as did Neji, both looking frighteningly poised. Mika hated Hiashi's stupid face, but Neji's brought him a curious sense of ... confusion. He had no idea what to really think of the boy. He could be far greater than he was, but he was being held back by so much.

Offering a smile, Mika stalked toward the Hyuugas. "I welcome you three, but I have to ask why you are all here?"

Hiashi spoke for the three. "I want to see how you help my daughter, see my investment in action. Neji was merely curious."

"That is fine." He walked over to Hinata placed a hand on her head, making her flinch. "I sense a fair amount of chakra, almost upper chunin level. Very nice, and such smooth presence. Even by the standards of a Hyuuga you stand out." He offered her a brighter smile, more genuine. "Hinata you would make an amazing medic, and that is why I will be showing you medical style combat and medical jutsu."

Hiashi froze. "She is a Hyuuga and-"

"I will be teaching her what I please, I told you it would be unorthodox." He gave Hiashi a cold stare, so much so that the man actually looked uncomfortable.

"Very well."

Mika smirked. "If you wish to see what medical style combat can do, I will spar Neji, and win." Mika took off his vest, tossing it to the side before moving away with Neji. "Come at me, full force Neji."

Neji sighed. "If you are sure." And Neji pounced, striking with perfect poise. The kind of skill that labeled him a genius was clear... and yet no strikes met. Mika dodged, weaved and slapped each and every blow to the side with ease, before grabbing a wrist, twisting it and kicking Neji's knee out and kneeing his chin as he stumbled. Once last blow sent Neji flying back, onto his back.

The field was silent, and Hinata stepped forward. " How?" She asked.

Mika turned to her. "My style is mostly defensive, it is all about evasion. I am a master of it, as good at evading as Lee is offense. I have more experience than him in that area, it is key for all medics to be capable of evading blows. We have to be able to survive and heal those around is. I modified the style to make it more offensive, working on counters and kenjutsu. It is a work in progress. It helped that the Gentle fist is really predictable."

The Hyuuga's, even Neji, stood still in shock. "Predictable?" Neji said.

"Yes, you all use generally the same moves, it is easy to figure out your patterns and work around them." Mika shrugged. "Now, do you see what and why I aim to teach your daughter?"

Hiashi nodded. "Yes, I can... very well, I approve."

Turning back to Hinata, Mika asked. "Take off your hoodie, I wanna see how built you are." She did as he asked, and he saw that she was actually really athletic looking, with firm muscles and curvy but willowy form. Holding out his hands, he said. "Hit me, I wanna see how strong you are. Not Gentle fist, just a regular fist. Let's see what you can do." She shot out a fist, but she was shaking, and barely registered. "Hinata hit me for real, you won't hurt me... I am here to help, nothing more. I will not just you, hate you or hurt you. Let me see what you can do so I can be a better sensei. Fight me like you did Neji, when Naruto cheered you on."

Something about his words seemed to sway something in her. She took a deep breath, her shuddering ending. She shot out a fist that actually stung when it connected. "IO am sorry, did that hurt?" Her father sighed, but he smiled.

"Much better and yes it did. You have a nice jab, I like it."

That made her smile. "Really?"

"Very much so. Now, how do you feel about a spar?"

She frowned. "But you bested Neji, he is so much better than me?"

"And? I want to see your skills up close."

He settled into a low stance and he shot at her. What she did next was amazing no matter how simple.

She twisted on her heel and dodged, swift and sleek, she moved like a jonin. Her next move was to try and pepper his side, but he expected it and was able to twist himself away and pepper her right back, all of which she dodged and moved by bending back, showing excellent evasion skills and flexibility. He was deeply impressed, and so he bumped up, moving faster and faster, but nothing connected until he went sixty percent of his speed, knocking her back.

She shivered, looking close to tears, but he stopped that with a hug. " Huh?"

Mika laughed. " That was so much fun. Girl, your evasion skills are amazing, your flexibility is amazing. I think with some adjustments you could fight Neji!"

Her eyes were wide. "Me?"

"Yes, you! Girl, you are clearly leaning towards a more reactive combat style, not a pure offensive one. Some adjustments and you could take on me at full form. We need to make you faster, strong and more confident. I give you three months until you could fight me, maybe six before you can fight Neji on even footing. Hmm... I think we need to get you medic training, I cannot always train you but that would really help you... but maybe vet training to start? Increase your tracking, you could spar with a Inuzuka and learn more aggressive taijutsu. What do you think?"

She shivered, then beamed. "I will do it! I always wanted to be a medic, and if I am a vet, I can help Kib and Shino and Akamaru better!" She didn't stutter or act shy, not even a little.

"Perfect. Let's go set it up. See you two later, oh and Neji I expect more spars. You are good, but I wanna see you do better." He winked at the boy, who blushed a little.

"I will keep that in mind... Mika?"

"Yes, please, call me my name. No formality. Now, Hiashi, I will make her great, but you cannot argue. Give me six months and she will be a new ninja!"

The man nodded, a weird smile on his face. "I almost could not believe the change I just saw, I know you can help her. You have my blessings."

"Awesome. See you all later." And Mika picked up a squeaking Hinata bridal style and bolted.

He heard, all too well, Hiashi say as he left. " He may be her only hope... I pray I am right."
