As the Hogwarts Express pulls into King's Cross Station, Harry and his friends gather their belongings and get ready to disembark. The anticipation of being reunited with their families and the prospect of a long summer break fill the air with excitement.
Harry steps off the train and scans the bustling platform, searching for the familiar faces of his family. It doesn't take long before he spots them. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are waiting for him, and as soon as their eyes meet, Harry finds himself engulfed in a tight, warm hug by both of them. Hope Lupin, Harry's grandmother, is there too, and she ruffles his hair affectionately, her eyes sparkling with love and pride.
However, Harry can't help but notice the absence of his grandpa, Lyall Lupin. He asks about him, and Sirius and Remus exchange glances. They explain that Lyall is busy with some work and can't make it to the station.
Harry nods in understanding, though he's a bit disappointed. After chatting with his friends for a while, Harry, Sirius, Remus, and Hope leave the platform and make their way to their home in Godric's Hollow.
When they arrive, Sirius suddenly excuses himself, citing an urgent matter, and leaves Harry with the others. As they enter the house, Harry is immediately overwhelmed. The hall is adorned with decorations, and letters displaying "Welcome Back Home" adorn the walls. Harry can't believe what he's seeing.
"What's all this?" Harry asks in amazement.
Hope smiles warmly. "We were trying to find a suitable gift for you the whole year, and this is what we came up with."
They lead Harry to a corner of the house he has never explored before. There's a new door that he hasn't noticed before. When he goes through the door, it leads to an underground passageway. Harry follows it to the end and is absolutely fascinated by the room he finds there.
Lyall Lupin, who has been working on a training dummy, approaches Harry with a smile. "Surprise, Harry."
Harry is speechless as he takes in the training room that has been set up just for him. Sirius arrives, holding a package toward Harry. When he opens it, he is overjoyed to find a set of Dragonhide Armor, Boots, and Gloves.
Sirius explains, "It'll be more helpful for you when duelling, especially in this Training Room."
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Harry hugs Lyall, Sirius, and Remus, thanking them over and over. They wave off his thanks, saying that this is what family is for.
Afterwards, they all go to the dining room to eat lunch, sharing stories and laughter. Lily Potter has a special announcement to make during the meal.
"This year," she says with a smile, "we're going on a vacation to Japan."
Harry's eyes light up with excitement as he imagines all the adventures that await them in a new country.
After lunch, Harry goes outside to play Quidditch with Sirius and Remus. Watching him fly and play the sport reminds them of James, and their eyes glisten with tears of nostalgia.
Lily is the most affected by it, and as she watches her son glide through the air, she can't help but cry silently. When Harry notices his mother's tears, he immediately lands and rushes to her side, wrapping her in a comforting hug.
The evening continues with a warm and delicious dinner prepared by Lily. Afterward, the family retires to their respective rooms, feeling the bond between them stronger than ever. As Harry lays in bed, he can't help but feel immensely grateful for the love and support of his family. With a contented heart, he drifts off to sleep, looking forward to the adventures that await him in Japan and the challenges he will face in the years to come.
