Chapter 62 Tremors
I don't own Kamen Rider Kabuto or My Hero Academia
Kabuto was training at the woods in a distant part of the area and he traded many blows against a tree.
"I gotta keep my skills sharp for later." He said.
As he was busy something underground was moving and it was coming towards Kabuto.
"Hmmm." He looks back to check for anything.
"I heard a heard a sound." Kabuto said.
He walks foward just to be sure, then the ground beneath him moved as he jumps over a tree to see red snake like creatures coming out.
"What are those things?" He stares down at them.
The creatures went back underground and Kabuto looks around.
"They had no eyes, so..." He picks up a accorn and throws it at the ground making one come out.
"Of course, sound, like how some creatures can feel vibrations." He said.
Kabuto looks around and activates clock up. "Clock up!"
CLOCK UP!
He rushes foward at high speed but then to his speed the creatures following him the same way and he jumps up again to avoid the snakes landing on another tree.
"Those things can copy my speed." He said.
It seems they hunt they're pretty no matter what.
He takes out the kunai gun and he shoots at them making the snakes go down.
The ground shook and he said: "How many are they?"
Then a giant creature called a Graboid comes out roaring.
"Just one." He mutters and was shocked.
The graboid roars and goes back down making Kabuto look around.
"The dirt is too dense, so I need to find a different way." He jumps away.
He sees more of the dirt move as he can tell theres more of those monsters around.
"Theres more of them." He said.
Two were underneath the tree he was at and they started to shake it and the tree starts to fall down.
Kabuto jumps off at the last second and he landed on a pile of rocks.
"You gotta be kidding me, these things are getting too smart." He said.
A creature came up from the edge with it's tongue like snakes going towards him making Kabuto go back as he got some distance from it before the Graboid goes back down.
"I can't rush back to the village or the girls will be hurt, I need to finish them off now."
The graboids were around him underground and he looks down, he picks up a rock and throws it making a creature eat it.
"They're still there." He said.
Kabuto sits on a rock and thinks.
The rocks i'm standing at must give out vibrations each time I move, and these creatures can only feel vibrations by hearing them.
He throws a few more rocks around the area and three creatures revealed themselves.
Theres three, so if I can get rid of them somehow I will be able to go back in time.
Kabuto thinks of a plan since theres times brute force can only do so much.
"Wait..." He looks around and saw a cliff nearby. "If I can lead them to that cliff, I could make them fall off and they'll die."
"I can't risk my summons if they get eaten i'll lose them forever inside of these sands."
Kabuto then saw case of gunpowder. "The girls did say other males existed."
He picks it up and makes a makeshift bomb with it.
Kabuto throws it and shoots the explosive making a big explosion causing the creatures scream and run away.
"That's it. But this gamble won't work if I run right away."
He makes another tube and lights up a fuse. "Let's test it out." He throws it with a rope he had and pulls it slowly on the ground.
A graboid eats it and he waited before it exploded underground.
"One done."
Kabuto looks around and sees the second one coming slowly.
"Time to exterminate that one too."
He does the same trick and he throws the line, he pulls it slowly making the creature eat it and he waited, then it explodes too.
"Theres two of them, if I can take the other one down then i'll be able to not risk the gamble."
Kabuto prepares the bomb and the final graboid sensed what's going on and it was not happy as it grunts.
He throws the line again and he waited, a snake tongue grabs it.
"Wait a minute." Kabuto has a bad feeling.
The bomb got spit out and landed near Kabuto, saw it at the gunpowder.
He gasped and takes one before jumping away as it explodes.
Kabuto was now far away and landed on the ground, he stood still and can tell he's there.
These things are smarter than they look, this one must be they're leader as it managed to tell my plan of taking care of them.
"Well then, theres only one way to take care of them."
Kabuto runs to the edge making the creature come up as it heard him before going back down to chase him.
The rider kept running as the creature got closer to him, Kabuto reaches the edge and looks at the Graboid chasing him.
He throws the bomb as it landed behind it before he fires at it, the bomb explodes making the creature cry out in pain as it headed towards him.
Kabuto waited for the last second and he jumps over it, he landed on the other side as the Graboid goes off of the cliff.
"Now perish!" Kabuto said as the creatures falls to a bed of spikes.
He got up and rubs his head. "This was the most unique fight I had to do."
Kabuto walks back to the village as he stares at the destruction made by those Graboids.
"I think Graboids will be a good name for them. But I need to tell the others in case more of them comes." He goes off.
He also wonders if more will come and is this what they're line stops or do they evolve?
This something that terrifies him a little since these creatures were dangerous enough as they were right now.
Note: Here's the Kabuto Halloween chapter and it's based on Tremors with Graboids appearing to attack Kabuto, but he uses more different tactics to fend them off.
