In the aftermath of the train incident, the Constabulary conducted a raid on the headquarters of the shell company that Robotnik was using to control trains in Mobius. While the Doctor himself was nowhere to be found, they did destroy a bunch of robots belonging to him in addition to seizing important documents and computer files. The day after the raid, Sergeant Sumner mentioned it in the briefing:

"Good morning, Constables, I would like to give my personal congratulations to all of the Constables who participated in the raid against the Kintobor Corporation. Thanks to you, millions of Mobians can now sleep more soundly at night."

Various Constables cheered.

"I would like to give an especially warm thanks to Detective Corporal First Grade Hawkes, whose intelligence was key to the success of this raid," said Sumner. "Without detectives like him, we wouldn't have half a shot at doing what we're doing out there."

Once again, Ten got a round of applause.

"Don't get complacent yet, though. Recently-gathered intelligence from Detective Second Grade Rizzo and Detective Corporal Second Grade Gant indicates that the Human Liberation Army is planning a series of nationwide protests against police brutality. Remember, our mission is not to punish protestors, but to keep order. However, if you do see something suspicious, don't be afraid to step up. Any questions?"

No one had any questions this time.

"Good. All outgoing Constables, enjoy your time off. Everyone else, get out there, and let's be careful on the roadways."

Ten was heading to his desk to clear up some paperwork when…

"Hey, tiger!"

Kelsea gave Ten another hug, which he gladly returned.

"Hello again, Kelsea."

Soon enough, they broke away from the hug.

"Hey, you're not still mad about Robotnik trying to kidnap you, are you?" asked Kelsea.

"While I do wish that Robotnik would be taken off the streets, I'm not mad about the murder plot itself being fake. Besides, considering I got to meet the famous Sonic the Hedgehog, it was worth it."

Kelsea smiled. "Glad you're looking at it with a positive view!"

Ten smiled as well. "I couldn't have done it without you or my wife."

"Awww!"

Kelsea gave Ten another hug, and again, he returned it. Even if things hadn't gone how he'd expected them to, he was alive, and he would get to enforce the law for another day.

After Ten's shift ended, he headed back home, where his wife Caroline was waiting for him. Caroline was a voluptuous white squirrel with short, wild, fluffy pink hair on her head, yellow eyes and two pink stripes on her tail. She wore a strapless white dress with a cherry blossom design and a pink apron.

"Boo, you're back! I was so worried about you!"

Caroline gave Ten a big hug and kiss, which he gladly returned. This was one of his favorite parts about being a member of the Constabulary: having a hot, well-endowed wife whom he could return to after a long day. Of all the women he'd ever wrapped his arms around, she was the softest, warmest and most cuddly of all. Truly, he was eternally grateful for her. They eventually broke away from the kiss, but not without smiles on their faces.

"So, how's everything going?" asked Caroline.

"I'm not gonna lie, I've had one of the longest, strangest trips of my life recently. On the plus side, I got to meet Sonic the Hedgehog."

Caroline gasped and put her hands on her cheeks. "OH MY DAMN CHERRY BLOSSOMS!* I'm so jealous! Did you get his autograph?"

"See for yourself."

Ten whipped out a color glossy photo of Sonic, which was signed: "To Ten – Don't just sit there and waste your precious time. Be solid – take action! – Sonic the Hedgehog".

"We HAVE to get this framed!" said Caroline.

Ten nodded. "Will do."

"Anyways, before I forget, I have great news…"

"What?"

"We're going to have a baby!"

Ten gasped, and his eyes widened. For quite some time, him and Caroline had been trying to have a child, but knowing that their efforts had just now succeeded meant more to him than words could describe. He smiled.

"Caroline, I…I'm so happy for you…for us!"

Ten gave Caroline a big hug, which she gladly returned. Even if being a member of the Constabulary meant that he could get called to duty anytime, anywhere, he was not about to trade it for anything else in this world.

*The phrase "OH MY DAMN CHERRY BLOSSOMS" is a registered trademark of…oh, I shouldn't even need to tell you.

Criticism is gold. Negativity and nitpicking are pyrite.
