An unknown battle in the Nexus of All Realities is about to begin. This purple dimension serves as a gateway to infinite timelines. The perfect base for the Time Eater to spread its venom across all of history. Its power is now complete. The Temporal Terror looks more robotic than ghostly than it was before, packing the addition of wings and an extra pair of arms. Almost nothing in any timeline can stop it now. But there are still six heroes that are willing to try. Spider-Man of both Past and Future. Sonic the Hedgehog of both Modern and Classic. And Tails the Fox of both Modern and Classic. These time-traveling defenders have arrived in the Nexus, ready to defeat Perfect Time Eater that is floating before them.

"Okay, whatever you are. If you want to avoid an embarrassing beat down, you better give up now." Modern Sonic taunted the mindless creature.

But the Time Eater isn't as mindless as they thought all this time. It has a brain. Two, in fact. Two of the spheres on its body open, revealing Doctors Octopus and Eggman acting cocky. "My, and you mock us for being arrogant." Doc Ock mocked.

"You're not in a position to demand anything, you nasty little pincushion!" Eggman snarked, much to the heroes' surprise to the point that both Peter and Modern Sonic facepalm as they should've seen this coming a mile away.

"Eggman and Octavius! But, how? Weren't you kidnapped?" Modern Tails questioned.

Another surprise is revealed behind two more spheres that open, revealing Doctor Serena Patel and a younger Eggman. "They had a little help." Classic Eggman retorted, being the same doctor that fought the heroes in the Death Egg Robot earlier.

"I couldn't have planned this any better." Doctor Octopus 2099 laughed.

"That's…!" Classic Sonic retorted in shock upon recognizing those familiar villains.

"Doctor Patel!" Spider-Man 2099 scowled at his nemesis from Alchemax.

"And Doctor Robotnik!" Classic Tails pointed out there are now two Eggmen.

"Nobody calls me that anymore." Classic Eggman snarked.

"Of course you led us into a trap. All this time, you really WERE controlling the Time Eater!" Amazing Spider-Man realized, much to his own annoyance. "What I want to know is, how did that happen?" He asked how their master plan came to be.

"If you and Octavius would be so kind as to explain, gentleman genius Dr. Eggman From the Future." Classic Eggman requested to his future self.

"It will be my pleasure to you and Patel, most excellent and efficacious Dr. Eggman Of The Past." Modern Eggman accepted his past self's request, ready to recite the tale of how they became the masters of time.

The plan of their wicked time crusade began some time ago, when Otto and Modern Eggman were stuck in space alongside Orbot and Cubot after the Wisp incident. "After our most recent setback, we stumbled upon the primordial form of this unique creation." Eggman flashbacked, with both doctors finding and analyzing the Time Eater in its original state. "Which we discovered had amazing abilities even I have never been able to master. It could erase time and space! We then had the brilliant idea to use our discovery to undo our previous defeats!" He stated, as both smiling villains left their robot minions stranded in space in favor for their discovery's terrifying power.

"In order to perfect it, we needed the help of scientists as smart as us. The only people that smart…are us!" Octavius expressed, proudly gesturing to their new partners that they kidnapped from the Death Egg for just this purpose.

"Oh, you are too kind, my dear predecessor! And I was happy to help!" Patel retorted, living the dream of working with her idol in science and villainy.

"We trapped New York in this world and captured your friends, flinging them through time to bait our traps led by our Time Breakers." Octavius sinisterly revealed.

"And if those weren't enough, we borrowed Salem's little pet from another timeline just to make your lives even more miserable." Modern Eggman also revealed how The Hound played a role in their schemes.

"But the more your monster tears through time, the more damage you do to our worlds!" Modern Tails warned them they could end all reality if they don't stop now.

"The worlds? We're going to OWN the worlds when we're finished with Sonic and Spider-Man!" Modern Eggman retorted through sheer arrogance, ignoring the risks of this ultimate power.

"HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO!" Modern Eggman then bursts into maniacal laughter.

"HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA!" With Otto also joining him in the insane hysterics.

Both Doctors laugh so hard that neither the coughing nor the clearing of throats stop their laughing from continuing. Disturbing their counterparts to the point they share a silent look of disbelief at their craziness. "…Wow. Was not expecting Dr. Octavius to be so…eccentric." Patel frowned.

"Will I really get that crazy?" Classic Eggman facepalmed with worry about his own future.

"We'll see who's crazy after we destroy both Sonics and Spider-Men…forever!" Modern Eggman retorted coldly.

"Are Patel and I included in that 'we'?" Classic Eggman snarked.

"Less arguing. More destroying." Modern Eggman sassed.

"Destroy us? You and what mustache?" Modern Sonic taunted, confident the doctors still cannot win.

"We beat you guys all the time by ourselves, and now there're two pairs of us!" joked Peter, gesturing to Classic Sonic backflipping and Miguel cracking his knuckles.

"Then we'll have twice as much fun destroying you!" Otto snarked, maliciously ready to end his jokes and their lives forever.

The cockpits reseal themselves as the Time Eater charges up an energy ball. The Sonics and Spideys race ahead to get this show on the road, splitting up and traveling in different directions after the monster starts blasting at them. "Keep moving!" Modern Sonic ordered his friends.

"Move all you want! I'm still going to stomp you into a blue jelly." taunted Modern Eggman, pressing a button that causes one of the Time Eater's arms to disappear into a Time Hole.

Miguel zips and swings past energy blasts, firing webbing that restrain the giant cosmic beast. Then comes Peter web-throwing Tailses in their spinball states, only for the foxes to be brutally repelled by a clock shield summoned effortlessly by the restrained monster. "Tails!" Peter shouted in concern.

"The Time Eater obliterates time and space! Did you really think you could stop him with just your webs?" Otto mocked, just as the Eater burst free with powerful ease.

Team SSSS then assemble for one powerful attack on the enemy, just to be swatted away like the flies the doctors see them. The four heroes have gotten weak and are struggling to recover. The perfect time for Otto and Modern Egg to smile evilly, as their disappeared arm reappears to smash them into the ground with devastatingly bone-crushing force.

"As calculated. You were no match for us at all!" Otto mocked.

"That was just to soften you up. Now it's time to meet your doom." Modern Egg proclaimed with gleeful malevolence.

The Time Eater gets ready to strike. To end their eternal enemies and rule an eternal empire. But just when all hope seems lost, a Charge Shot from a certain Maverick Hunter grabs the doctors' shocked attention, "Don't give up!"

Maverick Hunter X has arrived. And he's not alone in the Nexus. Lucina, Pit, and Palutena have come. Followed by Team RWBY, the RWBY Kids, Grimm Reaper, Young Salem, Sun Wukong, and Nicholas Schnee. While Taiyang and the hooded Summer help the Tailses get back on their feet.

"If it isn't the other Dimensional Avengers. I see you got past our Hound." Otto acknowledged their presence but remains calm about it.

"So you guys were behind this all along! Doesn't matter! We're taking you down!" Teen Ruby scowled.

"Don't make us laugh, child. We just defeated your greatest heroes without breaking a sweat. All of you together cannot stop us from remaking history!" Patel gloated.

Curiously though, their taunting only just make Ruby look smug. "It's not just us you should worry about." She claimed.

"You can do it, Sonic!"

"Go get 'em, Spider-Man!"

Both Amy's and Mary Jane's cheering voices were heard, as all the doctors turn to find them standing with Knuckles and Harry on a floating platform. "Come on, you guys. Smack them!" Knuckles expressed.

"You can't lose! Not now, not ever!" Harry cheered them on.

"Ugh, not you!" Modern Eggman groaned with annoyance at their sudden intervention.

Apart from the best friends are iconic anti-heroes standing on another platform, such as Scarlet Spider, "Time to get serious, punks!"

Shadow the Hedgehog, "Show me what you're made of."

Venom, "You've got this!"

Black Cat, "You can win!"

And Rouge the Bat, "Get this over with already!"

"Who are they?!" Classic Eggman exclaimed.

"They are insignificant!" Otto retorted.

On another platform stands Team Chaotix, starring Vector the Crocodile, "You guys got the power!"

Espio the Chameleon, "Focus your spirit!"

And Charmy Bee, "We're with you guys!"

Another platform has the Fantastic Four, with Mister Fantastic leading them off, "You don't need to be a supergenius to solve this equation!"

Invisible Woman, "We're all family! And family sticks together!"

The Thing, "It's clobberin' time!"

Human Torch, "Flame them!"

The fifth platform has Team JNPR, with Jaune Arc continuing with the cheers, "It's only a little more! Just a little more!"

Nora Valkyrie, "Break their legs!"

Pyrrha Nikos, "You are reclaimers of our history!"

Lie Ren, "We know you won't let us down!"

Across from those huntsmen is a platform holding a group led by Captain America, "Draw strength from the past to fight for tomorrow! Know that you're the best of us!"

Penny Polendina, "I don't need to scan to know you're all combat-ready!"

Ling Xiaoyu, "If someone helps me, I need to help them back. That's my rule!"

Hummingbird, "Go, go, Team SSSS!"

Expectedly, another platform has more of their friends, from other times and dimensions, like Cream the Rabbit from the Present, "I believe in you, Sonic and Spider-Man!"

Blaze the Cat of the Sol Dimension, "Don't give in, team!"

Silver the Hedgehog from the Future, "I know you four can do it!"

More support comes from more friends on their own platform, this time being companions from Ylisse like Robin, "Our bonds will win us this day!"

Lissa, "Kick their butts!"

Tiki, "Your team holds the key to our salvation!"

Can't forget about the members of the Dimensional Avengers, such as Lucina, "Fight against that demon and take back the future!"

Pit, "We're counting on you!"

Palutena, "Unleash the will that transcend both man and god!"

X, "You are our worlds' one true hope!"

"Enough of this nonsense!" Otto exclaimed, fed up with all their cheers that aren't budging Team SSSS at all, "If you're all in here, who's wasting time protecting your precious city from our army?"

"We're not the ONLY heroes, you know! Speaking of New York, they have some words to share too!" Teen Ruby retorted, prompting Palutena to project a massive holo-screen displaying the countless citizens of New York City. Ordinary people like Aunt May, the Daily Bugle staff, and Captain Yuri Watanabe are all watching this televised fight, courtesy of Oscorp. All of them adding their own cheers in hope of reviving their greatest heroes.

'Come on, tough guy! Just try and destroy us!'

'Leave Sonic and Spider-Man alone! Gonna pick on a few guys trying to save our history?'

'You mess with Spidey, you mess with New York!'

'You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!'

"Can't you hear them? The entire city is rooting for you to win!" Adult Yang said to Team SSSS, still lying unconscious.

"Don't disappoint them!" Kid Yang shouted.

"I need you guys! We all need you!" Adult Blake cheered them.

"Please, get up!" Kid Blake wished.

"Break time is over! You're the only ones that can save us!" Adult Weiss told them.

"If you lose, I'll never forgive you!" Kid Weiss claimed.

"You can win, guys!" Classic Tails happily cheered.

"You always do!" Modern Tails smiled, believing in their miraculous strength.

The encouragement of their countless friends from across time and space resonates with the seven gemstones in Team SSSS's possession. The Chaos Emeralds appear, swirling around the team and lifting them into the air while horrifying the Doctors that take notice of their luster.

"Hm? That light?!" The Doc Ocks noted.

"Th-The Chaos Emeralds?!" The Eggmen exclaimed.

"We'll always have your back. This fight has just begun." Teen Ruby smiled at her teammates. Her rivals. Her best friends that she idolizes as true heroes.

"Show them what we've all got!" Kid Ruby expressed joyfully.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Cutscene 9

Rubys' words were the last thing Team SSSS needed to hear in order to regain consciousness. Peter and Modern Sonic clench their fists, while Miguel and Classic Sonic look confused about the Emeralds that are powering them up.

"Time to scramble some Eggmen…" Modern Sonic glared.

"And cook some Octopus…" Followed up by Amazing Spider-Man.

"SUPER SONIC-SPIDER STYLE!" The Dimensional Duo declared heroically as the Chaos Emeralds transform the four into their Super States. Team SSSS has gone gold and invincible, cheered on to the max by their friends and all of New York as they watch their Super Heroes fly toward Perfect Time Eater for their final battle.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Boss Battle: Time Eater ver.1

The final battle with the Time Eater is waged in another dimension of the Nexus, separating them from their multiversal friends that will cheer them on until the end of time. Place is cluttered with objects from both Sonic's history and Spider-Man's history that aren't slowing down Team Super SSSS in the slightest as they chase the temporal behemoth through a time wormhole that has no end.

'Sonic, Spider-Man, can you hear me?' Modern Tails asked them through their comms.

'I worked with me to modify these transceivers.' Classic Tails said.

Modern Tails then says, 'Even though we're in different dimensions…'

Which is followed up by his Classic Self, 'You should still be able…'

'To hear us!' stated by both Tailses.

'We'll help you out from here!' Captain America chimed in.

'We'll win this one together!' Pyrrha commented.

"Thanks, guys! You're the best!" Modern Super Sonic smiled gratefully.

"Let's make this the most awesome final battle. How about it?" Amazing Super Spider-Man taunted the Multiversal Doctors.

"Very well. We will kill you in front of all timelines and end it all!" Modern Eggman snarked.

"RWWAAAAAAAAAWWR!" Perfect Time Eater roared monstrously, just as determined as its pilots to kill the heroes once and for all.

The Time Eater makes the first move, firing waves of homing shots that definitely home in on the heroes. Team Super SSSS split up and fly from the missiles with all their speed and with little success. They then get the bright idea to use the environment to their advantage, tricking the homing shots to blow up floating objects instead. Miguel takes it further with his Accelerated Vision, dodging the shots so easily like they're in slow motion. Thanks to the Chaos Emeralds, his Accelerated Vision has been enhanced to see the Doctors' next move.

The Eggmen say, "How about…"

Before allowing the Ocks to proclaim, "THIS!"

They warp an arm off the Time Eater before launching it through a Time Hole that ambushes Classic Sonic. That was just a vision of the future that Miguel saw through his Super Accelerated Vision, prompting him to save his partner from that fate by catching the warping arm attack and throwing it like a rocket punch that smashes into the Time Eater's face.

"Thanks." Classic Super Sonic said to his spider-partner.

"My Accelerated Vision never felt so powerful! I can see the source of their power clear as day! That purple orb in the center…" Super Spider-Man 2099 said whilst glaring at the Time Eater's glowing core. "If we can destroy it, it'll release all the timelines that he devoured and re-stabilize the timestream!" He stated to his teammates.

'My thoughts exactly!' Mister Fantastic supported his plan.

"Then let's do it to it! Give an opening to the guy that'll smash him!" Modern Super Sonic suggested.

"Allow me! I'm great at getting attention!" Peter quipped.

While his friends keep themselves busy with more homing shots, Amazing Spidey makes a beeline for the Time Eater himself. The chrono monster tries stopping him with a barrage of green lasers, most evaded by his web-zipping antics and some that were kicked away, just to make himself a bigger target in Octavius's grinning glare, "History states you will die by my hand, Spider-Man! Time to prove it right!"

All four Time Eater arms try crushing Peter while he's just floating in front of him with arms crossed and a smug face. That's because he is confident in the four Spider-Arms that he materializes using chaos energy to deflect the attack with shockwaving force. "Future's always changing, Ock. Helps that I'm so random and you love being predictable." He joked, delivering a lightning-fast uppercut that sends the giant beast high into the air and having it stuck on his giant web like he's a giant fly. "He's all yours, Future Me!" He shouted at his counterpart to follow up.

"Let's see what these Emeralds can really do!" Miguel uses his own chaos energy to enhance his Accelerated Decoys, creating an awestrucking army in the hundreds that all rain diving kicks that devastate the Time Eater's core.

'Nice one!' Lissa cheered.

'No time to relax.' Vector warned them.

The Time Eater recovers quick, just as the Ocks claim, "It'll take more than that…"

While the Time Eater dives outside the wormhole. "To defeat us!" The devious Eggmen finished, bombarding the wormhole with ferocious attacks that blow away Peter.

"They're out of the tunnel!" Classic Sonic noticed.

'Then get out there and drag them back in!' Black Cat advised.

Classic Sonic complies, flying out of the wormhole himself to assault the beast with light speed attacks that requires the attention of all four doctors. A big mistake on their part as Miguel sends several decoys out to web the Time Eater and pull it back inside the wormhole in time to be knocked back by the tremendous force of Modern Sonic's Super Sonic Boost.

"The past, the future, time and space! As the soon-to-be CEO of Alchemax, all is now mine to command!" Patel claimed, arrogantly while her homing shots fends off the hedgehogs.

"Shock that, Patel! Alchemax will stay a 2099 problem! A problem I intend to dismantle starting with you and your toy!" retorted Miguel, webbing the Time Eater enough for Peter to batter with a Super Maximum Spider. Ending with him creating a giant web drill that certainly drills in more damage on his core.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Boss Battle: Time Eater ver.2

'All right!' Nora gets her cheer loud and heard.

'It's still not done!' X stated, seeing the Time Eater still have plenty of fight left in him.

Growing weaker and more desperate, the Time Eater pulls out a more dangerous trick from his sleeves. Building up time energy to cast a watch-like seal that slows time down around Team SSSS, making them fly at a snail's pace. 'No fair! They can even slow down time!' Human Torch complained.

"Is something the matter?" All four Doctors taunted the super slowpokes, firing a huge wave of Homing Shots before time can return to normal in a few seconds.

Miguel is hit by the attack. Then Peter. But just before the Sonics were struck, the calculating Robin shouts, 'Now! Boost to the right!'. The Sonics complied, a mere second before the Homing Shots connect. The same time that time returned to normal and sudden burst of speed helps the hedgehogs avoid the Homing Shots.

"Timed that just right!" Modern Super Sonic complimented the Ylissean tactician, as the hedgehogs fly closer to the monster.

"Feels like only yesterday we became mortal enemies, Sonic. Such a shame we have to end this so soon. Can't risk you growing up into that bigger nuisance beside you!" taunted Classic Eggman, prompting the Time Eater to unleash a powerful laser burst at the approaching duo.

"Say that to yourself. Should change your history to spend all your life at the gym." Classic Super Sonic quipped, dodging the big laser with his twin as they prepare their combo. While his Modern self pulls back, Classic charges up chaos energy to shoot his counterpart as an outrageously powerful Super Sonic Missile that ram into and further damage the Time Eater's core.

'Yes!' Charmy cheered.

'He has sustained 75% damage! One more powerful attack should destroy it!' Penny scanned.

The impossible is happening. The Time Eater is losing. A fact the Doctors just cannot accept as they push him to his limits. They retreat through a Time Hole to gain distance and launch a desperate onslaught of attacks from afar. The heroes stick together, boosting past all debris and his attacks while flying toward the monster. The Spideys take the lead against more warping arm attacks trying to slow them down, using their super senses to dodge them expertly before web throwing the Sonics further toward their prey. A sudden clock shield does catch Modern Sonic by surprise as he accidently flies into its spinning hands. Thankfully Classic Sonic has his back by catching then throwing him harder and further for his Super Sonic Boost to bounce off Time Eater's pained face.

Getting fed up with their insolent persistence against his master plan, Modern Eggman snaps into a furious rant at his arch-nemesis, "How dare you do this to me, Sonic! How dare you ALWAYS interfere with my plans! You keep wrecking my plans for conquering the world! You survived all our traps across time and are pushing our Time Eater to the limit! You will pay for this with your life! You and your friends are finished this time, Sonic!"

"I'll teach you that no matter how many times you try, you will ALWAYS fail!" Modern Super Sonic retorted.

Enraged, the Time Eater throws a mighty punch that Modern Sonic catches with ease. "HOOOOAAAAAAAAAH!" The small hedgehog screamed with great fury that empowers him to hurl the giant beast onto a New York skyscraper floating in the distance. Peter then comes in with webbing to immobilize the creature, right before Miguel electrocutes him with devastating Venom Blasts that leave the villains extremely frustrated.

"Jam you! To have this happen to us!" Patel scowled at the stern Team Super SSSS glaring down at them.

"We need to initiate our contingency! We're leaking quantum particles BADLY!" Classic Eggman suggested in a panic.

"Calm down!" Ock shuts them up to give himself a moment's peace to ponder their next move, "Their Super Forms are nigh-invulnerable and their teamwork is infuriatingly immaculate. We simply need to disrupt their movements."

"Time over, Time Eater!" The Super Sonics shouted with intense intent to finish this with this next move. Classic draws up next to Modern and starts spinning and charging up energy to an immeasurable degree in the form of an atomic structure. Once fully charged, they scream, "ATOMIC SPIN!", while Classic shoots himself like a devastating projectile that ricochets off floating debris before ramming straight into Time Eater's core, pushing him all the way to the Spiders' massive ball made of energy web bombs that engulf the beast in a humongous explosion.

'Was that it?' Xiaoyu commented.

Nothing but thick black smoke can be seen by the heroes that are wondering if the Time Eater survived that super combo. Miguel uses his Super Accelerated Vision to see if this is the future they win. Much to his utter shock, he witnesses himself immobilized by a multi-projectile trap. A future he avoids that leads to another dark future, with him surprised by another Restraint Trap and a third one catching Classic Sonic, pushing both heroes far beyond the eyes of their teammates.

"Future Me! Little Sonic!" Peter shouted in concern.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Final Battle

It turns out the Time Eater did indeed survive that last attack, with only their lower body limbs destroyed. "That was too close for comfort." Otto smiled sinisterly.

'We were so close…' Jaune uttered out his frustration.

"Now your super power of teamwork is broken." mocked Modern Eggman, looking in evil delight of the two immobilized heroes unable to break free from their unbreakable Restraint Trap, much to the other heroic pair's anger.

The other heroic pair can do nothing but glare in anger at the Time Eater rising above them to prepare his final surprise. Which starts with him raising both hands that are absorbing energy from the Nexus itself. Modern Eggman says, "Amazing how far this cross-dimensional rivalry has taken us. From creating the Tesseract to conquering time itself. All leading to this moment.", before giving his enemies his most fiendish grin yet, "Of your absolute and utter destruction."

Everyone, from Team Super SSSS to their Multiversal Friends to the New Yorkers, stare in anticipation of what the doctors have planned with all that time energy. Yet it comes as a horror to them all when it's used to power up the gigantic sun-like sphere they summoned from outside the wormhole. "We've played with you long enough. We will erase everyone here beyond spacetime and create a new history. OUR HISTORY!" Otto declared with absolutely cold and murderous intent.

"They can't be serious…!" Espio reacted with his horrified face.

"If that attack hits the ground, it'll destroy the Nexus! All of our worlds will be wiped out!" Palutena stated, left stunned by their insanity.

"It's not looking good at the city either!" said Harry, staring at her holographic screen of the growing chaos happening at New York. Time Eater Forces have gone berserk and wrecking everything and everyone that cross their path, with Captain Watanabe and her police forces struggling to fend them off.

"This will erase the Heroic Age forever!" Patel laughed manically.

"WE'LL END IT! BURN! BURN TO ASHES!" All four Dimensional Doctors exclaimed with all their united madness, finally throwing their Sun Burst at both Peter and Modern Sonic so they can end them, all their histories, and leave room to craft the darkest timeline ever.

And yet. Despite the impending doom that is approaching them, both heroes remain completely calm. "Y'know, it might be good to just give up quietly for once here." Peter commented.

"Yeah, that might really be a good idea." Modern Sonic chuckled.

Suddenly the two bursts with intense golden energy, smiling, "NOT!", at their own jokes. Peter cups his hands together to charge up a powerful blue energy beam, while Modern Sonic gets into the position to launch his Super Sonic Boost. Side by side, they unleash their crossover combination in an attempt to stop the Sun Burst, with the combined attacks colliding and creating a large and destructive struggle that can be felt from where their friends are watching.

"It's alright. As long as we have those two…" Modern Tails commented, believing in his friends' strength.

"It'd be easier if they had the other two backing them up. But they got 'em trapped." The Thing sweatdropped, worried they could lose.

"We have to help them!" Kid Ruby expressed to her Teen self.

In agreement, Teen Ruby nods, "You're right.", before turning to the Goddess of Light with a time-saving plan in mind. "Palutena, I need you to do something." She said with a determined stare that interest her.

BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST- Grandmaster Meio Battle Theme

Meanwhile in the wormhole, Peter and Sonic are still engaged in a beam struggle against the Time Eater. The Sun Burst is stronger than they thought, slowly pushing them to the ground despite the ferocious effort they're putting in their counterattack. "This feels so good. We can kill you now anytime we want." Classic Eggman smiled villainously.

"Honestly, you must be commended. For constantly standing in our way up until now, as mere children, you heroes. But, this is the last time. History is long overdue for a rewrite! WE CAN NOW BECOME THE AUTHORS OF THE NEW WORLD!" Modern Eggman gloated with limitless maliciousness in his voice.

"RWAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRR!" The Time Eater roared with monstrous force that outputs more power into his attack. The two heroes were frightened, which transforms into desperate determination to try and beat the odds. But it seems impossible and they are on the verge of being overwhelmed entirely. That is, until a red energy beam from out of nowhere supports the heroes, surprising them and the doctors alike as they wonder who the backup is.

"Took you long enough…" Peter smirked at their backup, already knowing who it is.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Go Beyond the Limits

It is the miraculous return of Super Spider-Man 2099, freed from the Restraint Trap and eager to help his friends win the day. "Let's hit him with all we've got!" Miguel smirks back at his predecessor, working with him and Sonic to push the sun back somewhat.

"When did he get free?" Classic Eggman wondered in annoyance. His gaze finds the answer standing on floating debris nearby. It being the Rubys, who were transported into the tunnel by Palutena in order to free Miguel. "THOSE BRATS!?" He screamed with a rage that is ignored by the girls mocking him with funny faces.

"I can't afford to lose! The future has been entrusted to me to protect!" Miguel declared with a determined glare, refusing to disappoint his fellow spiders.

The tables have turned and the heroes reclaimed the edge. Not just in the Nexus but at New York as well. Heroes from across time are suddenly appearing to aid the NYPD against Time Eater Forces: New Avengers such as Wolverine, Luke Cage, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel. 2099 Heroes like Iron Man and Hulk. The Branwen Twins, Qrow and Raven. The Rouge Super Badnik, E-123 Omega. Exalt Chrom from Ylisse. Dark Pit from Skyworld. Even Frank West from the Capcom World is lending a hand in defending the city from the temporal terrors.

"Amazing…All these heroes from different timelines working together." Mary Jane smiled at the backup saving her home. She then turns back to Team SSS with a loud cheer, "Give them your best!"

"You heard your ex." Miguel told his predecessor.

"IT'S ALL OR NOTHING!" Peter roared, tapping into his X-Aura to give himself an additional power boost.

"Helping each other? How disgusting. We'll erase you until there's nothing left!" Patel scowled.

Once again the Time Eater increases his power output to re-steal the edge in this struggle, this time through the risky trick of overclocking his limits. The doctors don't care how far they're pushing their ultimate weapon. As long as he kills the heroes. That's all that matters to them now. "Just a tiny bit away. Our era is just a tiny bit away!" Octavius grinned with all-sinister confidence that they'll win this time.

"Keep it up! We can do it!" Modern Sonic encouraged his team to not give up.

"Right, of course!" Miguel retorted, letting out a powerful roar while the Sun Burst seemingly crushes Team SSS.

"So we finally crushed them!" Modern Eggman laughed maniacally, believing they have truly won.

All hope seems lost, until another miracle starts pushing back their ultimate attack. "Wait, what's this energy reading?!" Patel detected, which surprises her.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-A Power Beyond God

That energy reading she detected is none other than Classic Super Sonic, back in action and assisting his friends with his own Super Sonic Boost. And it's all thanks to Summer Rose, who was also transported by Palutena to free the little hedgehog from his own Restraint Trap.

"It's not over yet!" The unhooded Summer proclaimed, standing atop floating debris across her twin daughters.

"Sonic…Spider-Man…There's no way we're heroes that believe this is our limit to protect everyone's memories, RIIIIIIIIIIGHT?!" Classic Super Sonic screamed out his mightiest words of encouragement thar urges his friends to reveal their true power.

Hearts resonate with his truthful words, as Miguel roars, "RRAAAAAAAARGH!"

Followed by Modern Sonic screaming, "UUURRAAAAAAAGH!"

Then comes Peter yelling, "HAAAAAAAARRRRGH!"

And finally Classic Sonic bellowing, "HRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!", that ends with Team Super SSSS's attacks growing bigger and stronger and slowly pushing back the Sun Burst.

"Damn you! This cannot be!" Octavius exclaimed with horrific surprise at their sudden burst of unknown power.

"WE WILL NEVER, EVER, LOSE TO YOU!" Modern Super Sonic declared, acknowledged by the Chaos Emeralds manifesting a large halo resembling a blue star behind him. "EYAAAAAAAAAH!" He then roared with powers pushed beyond his limit.

The same miraculous phenomenon happens to Classic Super Sonic, manifesting a green star instead and his scream being, "HIYAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Super Spider-Man 2099 obtains a purple star halo while roaring at the top of his lungs, "ORAAAAAAAAARRR!"

Amazing Super Spider-Man is the last and certainly not least to gain his own-colored halo, it being red while his yell is infused with absolute ferocity, "HRAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The combined resolve of the past, present, and future has given birth to the ultimate combo that transcends spacetime. All of their attacks combine into one mighty spiraling energy wave that can be felt across the Nexus, White Space, and all timelines and proves more than a match for the Time Eater's Sun Burst as it's being pushed back considerably.

"Impossible! WHYYYYYYY?!" Modern Eggman screamed, with a face of baffled terror that is shared among his cohorts.

'NOW! GO FOR IT!' The Multiversal Friends cheered on the heroes to finish this.

"CROSS GENERATION COMBINATION!" The Rose Family shouted whilst naming their ultimate attack.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Team Super SSSS roared ferociously, giving their attack that final push to break through the Sun Burst and close in on the Time Eater himself that is roaring in fear of his inevitable demise.

The Cross Generation Combination rams into the core, while the Time Eater and Doctors alike are enveloped by its brilliant light. "How could we, the greatest geniuses in all of history with the Time Eater…!" Octavius shouted whilst left stunned at how they could have possibly lost. The core is then shattered completely and the Time Eater begins exploding, causing all four Doctors to yell, "UNACCEPTABLE! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLLLLLLLLLLLE!", while vanishing into the light alongside the obliterated Time Eater. His ultimate destruction releases all the time it stole from the multiverse. Unleashing its own bright light that envelops everything beyond spacetime with a promise the heroes are okay with.

"Did you destroy him?" Teen Ruby asked, finding herself floating a black void alongside a depowered Modern Sonic and a costumeless Peter Parker.

"Yeah. Everything should return to normal soon. But, why are we here?" Peter wondered curiously.

"Hello, Peter."

BGM-Marvel's Spider-Man OST-Responsibility

Peter's eyes widen upon hearing that shocking yet familiar voice. The trio turn around to find an elderly man approaching them with a smile. "Who are…?" Sonic wondered, with both he and Ruby being unfamiliar with this person. But to Peter, this is a legend he never thought he'd meet ever again.

"Uncle Ben…?" Peter recognizes his own uncle, stunning himself and his friends with this realization, "I don't believe…it really is you…"

"Well, sure, who else would it be?" Uncle Ben quipped with a shrugging smile. "It's odd…I was just coming back to May, we'd had a fight, and I was walking in the door, and…there was a sound, I thought it sounded like a gunshot but that doesn't make any…." He glances back, making the heroes realize that this Ben came from the time before his fated death. "I know it should mean something, but strangely, it doesn't. What matters is…you're here. You look good, Pete. Real good." He smiles back at his nephew, noticing that he's older and more handsome than his Peter.

"You look great, Uncle Ben. Oh, um, let me introduce you to two of my best friends. Sonic the Hedgehog and Ruby Rose." Peter gestured, introducing his dimensional friends to his uncle.

"Nice to meet ya." grinned Sonic, shaking hands with the legendary uncle.

"Hello." smiled Ruby, waving a polite greeting at her elder.

"Didn't know hedgehogs could talk. Glad to see you've made some really good friends." Ben smiled, proud to see his nephew is no longer friendless.

Peter replies, "Thank you, Uncle Ben. God, there's so many things I want to tell you…so many things I want to ask your forgiveness for, I-."

"Forgiveness?" Ben scoffs whilst giving him a shoulder hug, saying, "There's nothing you need to be forgiven for, Pete. Not by me."

"But I wasn't there when you needed me…" Peter frowned, still feeling immense guilt over not stopping the crook that later killed his uncle.

"We all mess up sometimes. It's not only inevitable, I think maybe it's even necessary." Ben said wisely, still smiling, "You know what would disappointment me? If you didn't reach for the kind of life I wanted for you. If you settled for less because you were afraid of reaching for more. If you walked away from what you believe, even once. Have you done that?"

Peter is silent for a moment. Then solemnly replies, "…No. No, I haven't."

"Then I taught you right, and your life has meaning." Ben patted his shoulder.

"But the thing is…I've done things, Ben, I've got…abilities now, I can do amazing things. There's stuff you need to know." Peter said, wanting to tell him about his superhero life, and possibly warn him of his death.

"And there you're right. There's one question I have to ask you, Peter. An important question. So I can sleep easy." Ben responded.

"Anything, Uncle Ben. Anything." Peter retorted.

"Whatever it is you do now, whatever it is you've become, tell me this, Peter. Are you happy?" Ben asked him a simple question. "We all go through pain, we all lose people we care about, we all suffer, we all get hurt. It's the price of being human. But at the end of the day…do you like your life? Are you happy, Peter?" He elaborated on his question, and looking forward to hearing his nephew's answer.

Peter thinks back to his own history. Of being Spider-Man protecting his loved ones from supervillains. Of meeting Sonic. Of meeting Team RWBY. Of forming the Dimensional Avengers. Good memories that are only balanced out by the bad. Like the deaths of Harry and the Stacys. As well as the sacrifices of Eddie Brock and Exalt Emmeryn. His entire history is nothing but chaotic. And yet, "…It's the damndest thing, but…I am. I'm happy. I have a good life, Ben. A real good life. I'm very lucky. Sometimes I don't realize just how good, and how lucky. But yeah…I'm happy, Ben." He admitted with the utmost sincerity to his uncle.

Proudly, Ben smiles, "Then that's the only thing that matters, isn't it?"

"Maybe so. Maybe that is the right question. But I still miss you, Ben. God knows, I've missed you so much." Peter said, embracing his uncle with one historic hug.

"I've missed you too, Peter. I love you, you know." Ben said.

"I love you too, Ben." Peter replied.

"Goodbye, Pete. Take care of May for me." Ben requested, feeling himself returning to his time period.

"I will. I swear. I always have, and I always will." Peter promised with his eyes closed, quietly and emotionally.

"I know…" Ben smiled, vanishing amidst their goodbye hug. Peter opens his eyes to see his uncle had gone to his fate. He stands there sad, already missing his Uncle Ben. But with Ruby holding his hand and a look at Sonic's smile, he's feeling happy. Happier than he's ever been. Forever grateful to the universe for giving him another moment with his uncle. And reinforce his belief to always use his great power responsibly, while the light consumes the trio whole.

Central Park, New York City. Earth.

A familiar chili dog drops from the sky and into Modern Sonic's hand. He smells that it's still fresh, standing alongside Teen Ruby and Amazing Spider-Man as they watch him take another bite out of it. "Still warm. Time travel!" He laughed, realizing they returned to the present time with the timestream restored to order.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Cutscene 10

There are some slight differences. Like Classic Sonic, Spider-Man 2099, and Kid Ruby joining their side. Then they all look at their friends from across time appearing at the birthday party, cheering in relief at their historic victory over the Time Eater.

"You did it, Spidey!" Harry congratulated his best friend.

"I always believed that you would pull it off." Mary Jane smiled at her amazing friend.

"I'll admit, you weren't half bad, Sonic." Knuckles admitted.

"Half bad? Are you kidding? He was all great!" Amy retorted, flabbergasted to the point of smacking the echidna into a tree and leaving him stunned there, much to Modern Sonic's embarrassment while he's receiving dumbfounded looks from both Rubys and the rest of Team SSSS.

"He collects how many? Wow, where does somebody put all those gold rings?" Classic Tails asked his counterpart, as the two have been walking and talking.

"You know what? I don't know. I keep forgetting to ask." Modern Tails responded casually.

With the world safe again, the group continues to celebrate Peter and Modern Sonic's birthday, now with additional guests. Cake was given to the likes of Grimm Reaper and Young Salem. A piñata is trashed by the combined effort of Classic Tails and the RWBY Kids. Modern Sonic and Amazing Spidey get dressed in birthday attire, with the former looking like a king and the latter outfitted as a party guest. And then there's Shadow and Scarlet Spider just minding their own business.

"I don't see Mister Peter anywhere. He's going to miss his birthday party." Cream said to Amazing Spidey, still unaware of his secret identity.

"Oh, he had to leave early for work. He'll be back. Just keep having fun." Peter lied, ruffling her adorable hair before watching her return to the party.

Having partied enough for now, Peter walks up to Modern Sonic to engage with him a private conversation. They stand in the shadows underneath a tree. A cool place to relax while Peter admits something to his blue buddy, "Y'know, sometimes I feel like what I do is a waste. But just think…What I do doesn't just affect the world around me…It affects worlds I can't even imagine, people whose parents' parents aren't even born yet. That's the closest I'll come to immortality." He said, convinced by this time-bending adventure that everything he does is worthwhile, for the sake of the future.

"It's just physics, man. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Considering how often you've come close to death…It only makes sense you should nearly live forever. Just be careful. People are counting on you." Modern Sonic said, telling him not to needlessly risk his life.

"I know. What about you? What did this little adventure teach ya?" Peter asked as a tease.

Sonic grins, "Heh. It was a nice stroll down memory lane. Reminded me of a lot. I pride myself on my speed, on my love for adventure. I think of myself as a wind that should always move forward." Then he frowns, "But to the Time Eater, my past is just as appetizing. Never realized just how much I've grown to be the Freedom Fighter I am today. How lucky I am to have made so many great friends along the way…Just like you." He admitted that this adventure has also given him a newfound appreciation for his past.

"The past is as wonderous as the present and future…" Peter places a reassuring hand on the hedgehog's shoulder, smiling, "Let's always keep fighting to protect them.", that is acknowledged by Sonic's big smile.

"So…Looks like our work is done here." said Classic Sonic, with he and Miguel approaching their temporal counterparts.

"Looks that way." Peter grinned.

"It was great teaming up with you. Hope you learned a few tricks that will help you out in the future. I mean the past. You know what I mean." Modern Sonic thanks his past self, with some awkwardness thrown in the mix.

"I know. Speaking of, look at what I've been working on." Classic Sonic nodded before pointing at his pompous self that's ready to do something awesome. He then runs and jumps, trying to demonstrate the same Air Boost his counterpart showed off before. It worked. For a split second before he comically falls into the ground, "Still practicing…"

Nonetheless, his Modern self applauds his attempt, "Dude, sweet! And you're only to get better."

"So are we gonna remember this or are we stuck in a shockin' time paradox?" Peter asked his 2099 partner.

"Changing the past usually creates an alternate timeline. But considering what we had to deal with, anything's possible." Miguel answered. "Regardless, I just want to tell you it was an honor saving the world with you. And one other thing: Don't say 'shockin'.' That's my line." He said to his idol, thanking him for this legendary teamup.

"Whatever." Peter shrugged. "But…speaking of lines…I just wanna say you're a proud addition to the line of guys calling themselves Spider-Man." He said, essentially giving Miguel his blessing to carry on the Spider-Man mantle in the future.

"You're not so shockin' bad yourself." Miguel scoffed, sincerely touched by his compliment.

Afterwards, the Tailses walk up to find stray Time Holes that'll return the time-displaced heroes back to their original times. "There's our ride!" Classic Tails pointed out.

"They won't last long! We need to go." Miguel then faces his fellow time travelers, gaining their attention as he proclaims to them, "Heroes from other times! Thank you so much for helping us save history. It's time we head home."

Spider-Man 2099. The Classic Duo. The WBY Kids. Nicholas Schnee. Young Salem. Grimm Reaper. Venom. All these heroes from across the timeline and risked their very lives to save history are gathering for their departure from this era. Many goodbyes are shared amongst this massive party. The most prominent easily being the goodbye between the Rubys and Summer Rose.

"I wish we had more time…Take care, you two!" Summer sadly said to her twin daughters.

"You, too! Bye…" Kid Ruby frowned.

Before watching her leave, Teen Ruby has one last thing she wants to ask her. "Please wait!" She stopped her for a moment. "By any chance…are you…my mom?" She questioned, now that she has a good look on her familiar face.

Summer thinks about her response. She's still insistence in keeping her secrets, including her true identity. So instead, with a proud smile, she responds to her daughter with this, "…If I have a daughter, I can think of no better wish for her than to grow up to be a huntress like you." She said, causing her daughters to cry and embrace them with a tearful goodbye hug.

BGM-Sonic Advance 2 OST-Staff Roll (Silent Dreams Remix)

The Weisses share a hug with their grandfather. Kid Blake waves goodbye to Sun and her Adult self. The Xiao Long Family, including Xiaoyu, exchange fist bumps with big bright smiles. Lucina gives her kind regards to Young Salem. Grimm Reaper steals the last piece of cake before Pit, much to his sadness. Venom is locked in a brief, yet intense glaring contest with both Shadow and Scarlet Spider. The Spider-Men shake hands. And the Classics and Modern high five and ten each other before all the time-displaced heroes run to their respective portals.

"Hey, Sonic! Enjoy your future. It's going to be great!" Modern Sonic promises his Classic self, who responds with a smiling thumbs up.

"Same to you, Team RWBY! Grow up to be the most awesome huntresses ever!" Teen Ruby smiles at the RWBY Kids, who all wave the happiest goodbyes to their future selves.

"Protect the future, Spider-Man! Believe in yourself! That's your greatest power!" Peter says to his 2099 successor, acknowledging his advice with a stern nod just as the time travelers pass through their closing Time Holes. Their friends still wave goodbye, and Kaine and Shadow stay cross-armed. The timeless trio of Sonic, Peter, and Ruby just look on with smiles at their histories that they will cherish until the end of time.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST- Collection Room (File Select)

KFX Here: Phew! This was a big one. Wanted to make this finale as climactic as possible. That Cross Generation Combination? Inspired by Team Super Sonic's Team Blast, Super Sonic Power, from Sonic Heroes. But hey, that's it for this remake. As usual, stick around for the epilogue that will tease my next project. It's finally time for the Exo War remake! One of my biggest stories alongside Battle for Remnant and The Solaris Dynasty. Gonna need some time to cook with this one. But when I'm done, you folks are in for a feast. As an appetizer, I MIGHT remake the prequel, Chronicles of Doom. It won't have major changes, just better dialogue to fix in with the current canon.
