Hola as promised a new chapter of Danny and Luz this time the adaptation of Yesterdays lie
So without further ado you guys have been left waiting all month because of me let's get on with the chapter

The Many Dates of Danny Fenton Danny and Luz
Finally it was done Luz thought wiping the sweat from her brow it was a good thing her mentor Eda was such a colossal hoarder Luz was able to grab everything she needed to build a new portal out of the garage
"It looks good kiddo" Eda asked walking over to Luz messing up her hair
"Yeah I really need to talk to my mom" Luz said looking at the door camp was over by now knowing her mama she definitely called the cops when she didn't come home from camp
Maybe the FBI or S.H.I.E.L.D if they actually existed outside of conspiracy message boards on the internet
'Knowing Mama she'd found S.H.I.E.L.D just to find me' Luz thought
"Not your mom" Eda teased elbowing her "there's also your boyfriend"
"Eda" Luz replied elbowing her mentor back trying to get her blush under control ever since Luz had destroyed the portal so Belos couldn't get his creepy hands on it she didn't have cell reception which meant complete radio silence between her and Danny
He might have thought she was ghosting him and had moved on to some other girlfriend someone he could see in person and not just on the other end of a phone screen
Luz needed to know for sure
"Come on Luz it's late we'll test the portal in the morning" Eda promised heading towards the Owl House Luz looked towards the door one more time
'See you tomorrow Mama Danny' Luz thought before heading into the Owl House 'hopefully'
"Whoa this is trippy" Luz said looking around some kind of strange void where no one her feet in a river black water cubes floating up into another river above her head Luz didn't know where she was but it was the human realm that was for sure
"Eda King Hooty" Lux called hoping one of her friends could hear her and pull her out of wherever this freaky place was
One of the cubes glowed orange floating in front of her face curiously Luz grabbed it there was a flash of light and she found herself back at the Owl House
Only something was off
The wind blew the window open and she moved with it
Down below King Eda and Hooty were watching the portal door
"Do you think Luz is okay she's taking a while" King asked
"Don't worry I'm sure Luz is fine probably catching up with her mom and swapping spit with her boyfriend" Eda assured the little demon Luz blushed stepping back she was back in the void "okay that was weird like being the magic mirror from Snow White"
Another cube lit up and curiously Luz looked in it finding herself in a looking into the hallway of a hallway next to Luz there was a sign pointing to a gift shop and across from her was a scarecrow dressed to look like Belos
"And now witches and demons get a load of the Murder Huts next exhibit" an old man who sounded like he could be Kings grandpa or something walked to the scarecrow leading a crowd of witches and demons with him
"Now this across the Boiling seas there stands on the Boiling Isles the people there are ruled by this guy 'his majesty' Emperor Belos" the old man says poking the scarecrows head with his staff
The goat palisman on top comes to life and takes a bite of some of the hay sticking out of 'Belos' mask "not now Gompers I'm working" the old man says pulling his Palisman away from his lunch
"Now this guy he goes around saying that he can talk to the Titan he's living on and that the Titan isn't happy with those who mix different types of magic" the crowd laughs the Old man joining in
"Yeah they all drank the ghoul aid over on that carcass kingdom of theirs" the old man says while getting his laughter under control
"Our last exhibit before the gift shop is the magic mirror of Princess Shabbalabbadingdong" the old man says pointing his staff at the mirror Luz was looking through "according to legend the spirit in the mirror will reveal what you should do next"
Everyone looks to Luz the tourists are looking at her with amazed looks and taking pictures on their scrolls and cameras while the old man is looking at her surprised 'Eda and this guy would definitely get along'
"Uh special offer at the gift shop buy five get one five percent off" Luz said coming up with something on the fly
Everyone excitedly ran past her into what was presumably the gift shop while Luz backed away from the mirror "well at least people on other titans don't believe Belos can talk to the titan now back to what I came here to do"
'I gotta give credit to whichever one of the kids set that illusion spell up in that human real mirror I got from a dead trash slug' Alex Spines owner and proprietor of the Murder Hut thought
Happily watching as customers were cleaning out the gift shops inventory Grendy was moving like the wind behind the register while Alex smiled greedily 'this'll be the best day we've had all season'
Behind him Ooz is whistling while he works "Say Mr. Spines do you ever get the feeling that we exist simultaneously in multiple parallel universes completely unaware of the other's very existence"
"You been watching penstagram conspiracy videos with the kids again Ooz" he asked Ooz just laughed wiping some sweat away from his eye
"You got me there Mr. Spines" he laughed before getting back to work
'Almost there' Danny thought as he flew to Gravesfield
His summer had been really weird it'd been one thing after another and Danny hadn't been able to talk much with Luz the few times he'd tried in the past month he hadn't been able to get through to her
Danny wasn't too worried maybe her phone broke or reception was just bad out at the camp she was at
Danny knew Luz wasn't the kind of girl who'd ghost him pun not intended
Finding an old cabin by his girlfriends house Danny went from Phantom to Fenton just in time for Luz to show up
"Luz hey" Danny greeted happy to see his girlfriend in person for the first time in three months but she sped past him without looking at him into the cabin 'okay that was weird' he thought worried thinking that something was wrong turning on his heels he followed Luz just in time to see Luzs ankles caught in a snare on the dusty floor
Before he could move to help her Danny watched his girlfriend transform into a snake with hair and arms 'okay I saw a lot of weird stuff but this one takes the cake' Danny thought
"Oh no" the snake/Luz said "first the real Luz showed up now I've been seen by a human I'm going to get locked up all over again"
At first Danny had gotten worried that something had happened to Luz than he noticed the fear in her eyes what looked like a shackle in her tail
"Hey it's okay I'm not going to hurt you" Danny promised
"Neither am I" Luz said in a compact mirror on the floor "wait Danny" she exclaimed looking shocked to see him
"Hi Luz having a good time at camp" Danny asked with a smile Luz chuckled sheepishly rubbing the back of her head
"Yeah I've got a lot of explaining to do" Luz said "but first can you get the trap off there's a little tag thing that'll loosen the line"
Danny nodded loosening the trap allowing not Luz to slither out she looked at him gratefully "thank you"
Danny smiled "you're welcome"
Snake Luz paced looking more and more worried "oh this is bad I should have known this wouldn't last forever I have to disappear cause they're going go come after me and drag me back and I'd rather die than go back there"
Danny was growing more worried and concerned the more she talked also confused especially since his girlfriend was either a snake or trapped in a mirror
"No ones dragging you back to anywhere" Luz promised "you're a basilisk from the demon realm aren't you"
"Demon realm" Danny asked
Snake Luz nodded "my name is number fi- I mean Vee" she answered
"Can someone explain to me what's going on" Danny asked
"Oh right sorry Danny see the demon realm is this parallel dimension that's right next to our every of our myths is something that leaked into our world vampires griffins giraffes"
"Giraffes" Danny asked Vee looked afraid at the mention of the animal
"Yeah they're demons from the Demon realm got banished a long time ago for some reason I didn't pay attention during history class" Luz answered "something about them being a bunch of weirdos"
"So you've been in the Demon Realm instead of summer camp" Danny asked Luz nodded explaining that she'd tried to stop a little owl from stealing her book met a witch named Eda and eight year old King who according to Luz may not be the King of demons but was the King of her heart
"In a totally platonic way I don't two time anyone" she had promised and had become a witches apprentice
"And I went to summer camp I snuck through the portal door and took Luz's form" Vee added "I ran into Luz's mom she was so nice to me and she took me to camp where I learned about being a human it was nice I learned about a lot of paperwork but nice"
Luz and Vee looked at Danny "you don't seem that weirded out about all of this" Luz asked
Danny nodded going ghost shocking the witch and the basilisk "you're Danny Phantom my boyfriend is Danny Phantom" Luz asked wide eyed Danny nodded
"And my girlfriend is a witch" Danny replied smiling Luz smiled back
"I'm still your girlfriend great I was worried you'd dumped me after I hadn't talked to you in a month" Luz said looking to Vee "I was going to talk to my mom let her know I wasn't missing but since you took my place she doesn't have to worry and you've got a place to live until I figure out how to build a working portal"
That seemed to work
"One problem I need magic to change forms" Vee changed into a Luz but there were some differences she still had basilisk eyes and ears "I don't have enough to completley change"
'Yeah that's a problem the last thing Vee needs is to get chased by the morons in white or worse the Fruitloop going after her' Danny thought noticing Luz look at a newspaper article on the floor "I know where we can find you some magic look"
Vee pulled up the article "Gravesfield history museum"
"No not that side that's junk" Luz said Vee turned it around "that's my mentor Eda she's been coming to the human realm for years she might have left some of her magic stuff behind"
That sounded like a good idea and if it didn't work Danny could head back to Amity Park and 'borrow' the Scarab Scepter the magic in that thing was probably a life long all you can eat buffet for a basilisk
'Probably it should be plan B just in case the magic in that makes her go mad with power like it did with Tucker' Danny thought as he helped disguise Vee with an old hat that he cleaned of dirt and who knows what else by using his intangibility on it
"So Luz want to fill me in on what you were really up to this summer" Danny asked his phone screen Luz had magiced her way onto it from the void she was in
"Yeah" she answered excitedly "oh man Danny there's so much I wanted to tell you but I wasn't sure you'd believe me I was worried you'd think I was crazy"
" I got a pretty high suspension of disbelief after everything I've seen" Danny promised as the ghost boy basilisk disguised as a human and his girlfriend on his phone screen headed into Gravesfield
So obviously it's no longer September sorry about making you all wait
So all of you could get a new chapter I split Yesterdays lie into two chapters
A missed opportunity the show didn't do was have a counterpart of Stan make an appearance somewhere in the Demon Realm like what happened in Amphibia
Fun fact for those who don't know Owl house creator Dana Terrace and Amphibia creator Matt Braly both worked on Gravity Falls
She also worked on the 2017 Ducktales reboot
The people outside the Boiling isles don't believe in Belos' lies about being about to speak to the titan or about 'Wild' magic since they didn't spend however long Phillip spent indoctrinating them all into believing his baloney
We see that with Bill on Titan trapper island who called him 'the upstart from that carcass kingdom'
Bill would probably get along really well with Skulker
