The Dragon Riders were now moving out, hoping to stay ahead of the Marines and Camie; the others were waving them goodbye.
"Be careful!" Camie cried out, waving.
"Yeah, take care of yourselves!" said Pappagu.
"We will, and you do the same!" Hiccup waved.
"Tell Octorn goodbye!" said Chopper.
Everyone began saying their goodbyes.
"Isn't this a bit much?" Astrid asked. "It's only three days."
"True, but you just can't help saying goodbye," said Hiccup.
"Well, I suppose I should be off too," said Rayleigh and began to leave.
"It's been a whirlwind ever since we got here," said Eret, folding his arms. "I wasn't expecting to run into Roger's vice-captain. It kinda stung."
"What do you mean?" Snotlout frowned.
"I mean, what are the odds," said Eret. "I mean, he's a pretty intimidating die for an old geezer; I'll give him that much."
"He is the most famous man in Roger's crew, and deservingly so it would seem," said Snotlout.
"So that's what the crewmen on the Oro Jackson were like, huh?" he said, remembering Tom's final words about how it was an honour to build Roger's ship. "Man, I'm glad I got to meet him."
"You know, I never would have pegged you to be someone who has such reverence for his elders," Snotlout smirked.
"Look who's talking!" Eret snapped.
Meanwhile, the Marines were storming the islands on the other side of the archipelago, and all the pirates were running for their lives.
"It's Admiral Kia; we've got to get the hell out of here!"
"Don't let those pirates escape!" the Marines yelled.
Kia stood there talking to his black transponder snail on his wrist. "Uh, hello?"
"There are wanted men everywhere on this archipelago," said a Marine. "Look out for the ones worth 100 million!"
Kia didn't appear interested in chasing down the pirates as he continued talking to the transponder snail on his wrist.
"Hello," he called."This is Admiral Kia. Hmm, that's odd. Hello… well, that awful strange."
Two pirates hid in a nearby alley and saw Kia standing there.
"Crap, we're screwed now."
"No, hold on," said his friend. "There is still a chance. I think I can get the drop on him and taken down from here. And if I do, I'll be famous."
"Huh?! Are you out of your damn mind?!" his friend yelled as he aimed. "This is one of the strongest guys in the Marines we're talking about."
The pirate didn't seem to be listening as he carefully aimed at Kia.
"Hello, do you read me?" Kia asked, still talking to the transponder snail.
"Now take this!"
"No, wait! Stop!"
Too late, the other pirates had already fired his rifle, and the bullet flew straight towards Kia's head, but then it passed right through and hit the wall opposite him.
"Hello," said Kia, oblivious to what just happened. "Hello?"
The two pirates just stared in shock.
"No way!"
"I'll get you this time!"
The pirates fired another shot, but the same thing happened.
"What the hell?! I know I didn't miss it that time. The bullet passed right through his head."
"So terribly odd," said Kia as his eyes turned to the pirates.
"He's obviously got some kind of crazy Devil Fruit power. Guns aren't going to work on him! Run for it!"
They quickly ran away with aiding get far as Kia appeared right before them.
"Pardon me, but I was wondering if you could help me out?" he asked, making the two pirates scream. "I'm here looking for a man named Sachihiro. He's a subordinate of mine; do you know him?"
The two pirates were too stunned to speak and ran away from him.
"Gee, all I did was ask them a question," he said as he raised his leg, which glowed brightly.
Then, suddenly, a beam of light shot right past the two pirates, making the two of them stop. A split second later, a huge explosion occurred, and the muscle mangroves in the island's centre were all over.
The Marines of the nearby battleships saw the entire thing stared openmouthed.
"I think Admiral Kia went a hair overboard."
"He knows better than to break the hustle muscle mangroves."
"Oh wow," said Kia, looking carefree. "I forget my own strength sometimes."
Apoo had watched the entire thing. "Talk about crazy. That's Admiral Kia, I take it."
"Please, Apoo! This is dangerous for us, too!" said one of his men. "We really need to get out of here."
Apoo sighed as he wrapped his long arm around his neck. "You fool. What fun is there in slinking away? It's better to run after you pissed your enemy off."
"Then what are you planning to do?"
Apoo laughed.
The Marines managed to capture a few pirates, but most escaped to the other islands.
"Come on, pick up the pace!" said Marine as he dragged a pirate with him.
"Man, a lot of them got away."
"Yeah, there were just too many ."
Then they heard the transponder snail ringing, and one of them answered it.
"Requesting backup at the harbour!" said a panicked voice.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know how, and I don't know why, but all the soldiers have turned into kids and old people!"
Every soldier in the area had turned into a four-year-old or 90-year-old man.
"What the hell is going on?" one of the young Marines cried.
"Oh, my aching back," said one of the elder Marines.
"Perfect," said a voice laughing.
The Marine looked up and saw sitting on top of the restaurant eating a large piece of meat was, Bonney Jewel.
"She's the one who did this; it was Bonney Jewel!" the Marine panicked. "She's got a bounty of 140 million!"
Bonney then ate a large piece of pizza and looked down at him with a smile. "Which do you prefer? Young or old?"
The Marine was too stunned to speak, and the other Marines on the other side of the line were confused by what they were hearing.
"What happened? Hello, hello! Please respond!"
All they could hear was cries which belonged to the Marine, whom Bonney had turned into a child.
"Watch out for the rookie pirates worth over 100 million! I repeat, watch out for the rookie pirates worth over 100 million!"
A squad of marines had encountered Capone, who was all alone and had him surrounded.
"I know you," said a Marine. "You're Alistair Capone, and you got 138 million Gil bounty."
"No way you're sailing out of here."
Capone merely smiled.
"What? Did your crew run off and leave you?"
"Too bad for you, hands in the air!"
"Ha, in terms of tough guys, you boys are outmatched," Capone smiled.
The Marines looked at one another, confused because they had him outnumbered.
Meanwhile, Hawkins was sitting at a fountain as all the pirates dashed off.
"What's all this about?"
"Captain Hawkins?"
"There's no reason to worry; fate has already been decided," said Hawkins.
Kia then approached them. "Oh, excuse me, but I was wondering if you fellas could help me out."
"It's Kia!"
"We'll keep him busy for you, Captain!"
"Please, sir, you need to get out of here!"
Hawkins merely looked up calmly at the Admiral. "No need to panic. I won't be dying today."
He then pulled out a bunch of tarot cards from his jacket pocket.
At the same time, both Dagur and Law's crews were battling against Kuma.
Killer just charged at Kuma and quickly jumped into the air before swinging his blades, which he could block with his arms. The skull-faced pirate from Dagur's crew then unleashed a burst of flame from his mouth, setting Kuma on fire.
"How do you like that? Toasty enough?" Killer asked.
Kuma, however, could distinguish the flames by spreading out his arms.
"Step aside," said Bepo as he and two more members of Law's crew joined the fray. "We'll handle this."
The three of them then began engaging Kuma in close-range combat, but amazingly, they could block their attacks. He could knock away the other two members of Law's crew, and Bepo began unleashing a range of attacks, which he quickly dodged. Bepo finally managed to do a roundhouse kick against his right leg but then screamed in pain, clutching his leg from the attack.
"That hurt! What are you made of?" Bepo cried as he collapsed.
Kuma then raised his fist and swung it down towards Bepo.
"Room!" said Law, creating his strange bubble. "Shambles!"
A split second later, both Bepo and Bart swapped places. Bart then grasped hold of Kuma's hands and held him in place.
"Gotcha," Bart smirked.
"Oh, the pain!" Bepo cried, still clutching his leg.
"So irritating," said Dagur as he had created two massive arms of metal. "How about this?"
He swung his metal arms at Kuma, barely giving enough time for Bart to jump out of the way, and flattened him.
"And that's the end of that nuisance," Dagur smiled and then walked away.
"Dagur, this isn't over yet," Law warned.
Law was correct, as Kuma had gotten back up and looked unfazed by Dagur's last attack.
"Huh," said Dagur as he began attaching more metal to his arms. "You just don't know when to quit, do you?"
Kuma then removed the glove on his right arm, but when he raised his hand, there was a gun barrel instead of a paw pad. Everyone gasped as it began to glow, and he fired a beam of light at them.
Hiccup and the others were still wandering around the islands, trying to put as much distance from the Marines as possible.
"So what are we going to do for the next three days?" Ruffnut asked.
"We could go to the amusement park," Tuffnut suggested.
"This is no time for playing about," said Hiccup. "We can't draw any more attention than we already have."
Then suddenly, appearing in front of them was a familiar face.
"No, it can't be," Fishlegs gasped.
Standing before them was none other than Kuma.
"You know this guy?" Hiccup asked.
Hiccup had been unconscious when Kuma revealed himself on Breakneck Bog, so he had no idea who he was.
Meanwhile, Capone's men appear to be in some fortress, and they were getting ready for a siege.
"Enemy attack!"
Upon hearing those words, they quickly mounted the cannons.
"Hurry up, go!"
"Commence the attack! Get those cannons ready!"
"Open the dock ports!"
They then opened the docking ports and pressed the cannons outside.
The Marines stared blankly at Capone as they tried to understand what they saw. Believe it or not, these dock ports were on Capone's body.
"Commence bombardment!"
"What?" the Marines stared.
"Fire!"
They then fired the cannons and launched miniature cannonballs straight at the Marines.
"What?"
"This is crazy! Something is flying out of his chest!"
When these tiny cannonballs were further away from Capone, they suddenly became normal size and kept making their way towards the Marines.
"Whoa, it grew," said a Marine.
The cannonballs then exploded, taking out the majority of the Marines in an instant.
"What the hell just happened?"
"He didn't even have to lift a finger."
They then heard the sound of trumpets and saw the drawbridge lowered from Capone's stomach.
"Cavalry, charge!"
"Hey, look at his stomach! Something is coming out!"
Then, jumping out from Capone's stomach were a bunch of men on horseback, and just like the cannonballs, when they were a certain distance away from Capone, they became fully sized.
"Men on horseback!"
"Come on, that's ridiculous!"
The Marines immediately opened fire with their rifles, but then they were hit by a stream of bullets themselves. Then, the men on horseback destroyed their ranks when they charged in.
"I don't know how that power works, but I think I'm starting to see why they call him The Gang," said a Marine.
"Firing squads, take aim!"
Some men were taking up sniping positions from Capone's right eye, but they found it difficult to aim with all the smoke from his cigar.
"What's with the smoke?"
They then began to cough.
"Father, take it easy! It's too much!"
"Told ya," said Capone, looking at the Marines. "You'd need more troops than that."
Every pirate on the islands ran to their ships, not wanting to get caught by the Marines, especially Admiral Kia.
Bonney was sitting on a roof, watching them scamper off when her stomach began to growl.
"I still haven't gotten enough to eat," she said.
"Don't worry about it; I'm sure there'll be good food on the next island, too," said one of her men.
"Did you hear the news?" said a voice below them. "One of the Seven Warlords has joined the attack."
"Wait, you serious? Which one of them is it?"
"A Warlord," said Bonney.
Urogue was already tangling with that said Warlord, and he was being easily overpowered.
"I was expecting an Admiral, but not you too," he said, looking up at Kuma. "I guess it was too much to ask to sneak past Navy Headquarters. How unfortunate!"
He then charged in, swinging his massive iron club against Kuma, who blocked it with nothing but his arms.
"My pride won't let me walk away," he said.
Meanwhile, Hawkins was still looking through his tarot cards with Kia standing right before him.
"Captain, please, you must escape! It's far too dangerous here!"
"Captain Hawkins, what are you—"
Hawkins ignored their concerns and continued to look through his cards. "Combat: chances of defeat 100%."
"Pardon, but could you help me?" Kia asked.
"Escape: chances of success 12%," Hawkins continued.
"I'm looking for a man named Sachihiro. Do you know him?"
"Defence: chances of evasion 76%."
"Hello!"
"I know of no such man," said Hawkins as he continued sorting his cards. "Go ask someone else."
"Well, if I can't find him, that leaves me with some spare time, you see," said Kia. "And if I have some spare time, I obviously can't let a wanted man escape—especially one with a 200 million Gil bounty, Magician Hawkins Johnson. Speed is weight. Observe, this is what it feels like to be kicked at the speed of light!"
He then raised his leg, which began to glow, and struck Hawkins across the face in a split second, sending him flying towards many buildings.
"Captain!" Hawkins' men cried.
Elsewhere, a group of Pirates were preparing to leave the archipelago.
"Looks like we're finally ready to set sail."
"Great, then let's get out of here."
Then, suddenly, the pirate was sent flying and slammed into a nearby building for no apparent reason.
"What the? What happened?!"
"A-Are we under attack?"
"I don't know, he just suddenly went flying."
The pirate fell to the ground with a bloodied face; it almost looked like someone had just kicked him across the face at blinding speed.
Apoo was watching everything from his vantage point.
"Look at that," he said. "He's strong. Hey, wait, what's he doing now!"
Kia aimed the finger directly at Hawkins and fired a beam of light at him, creating a large explosion.
Another group of pirates ran to the ship as quickly as they could when suddenly one of them burst into flames.
"I didn't see anyone! He just burst into flames."
"Who attacked and from where?"
Kia looked quite pleased with himself but then stared in confusion as he saw Hawkins standing on his feet, looking completely unscathed.
"What was that?" one of Hawkins' men asked.
"Impressive," said Hawkins. "You far surpassed anything I imagined."
"Now ain't that weird," said Kia.
"To think two would be destroyed already," said Hawkins, raising his arm. "Again, an Admiral such as yourself, I might feel nervous even with ten."
Then, falling out his arm were two straw dolls; one had its face partially destroyed, and the other's face looked scorched.
Then, suddenly landing between both Kia and Hawkins was Urogue.
"Hold on, is that the Mad Monk Urogue?" one of Hawkins' men asked.
"And he's not alone either!" Then, suddenly landing in front of Urouge was Kuma. "That's Kuma Bartholomew, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!"
Urogue was panting heavily. "You're strong; I'll give you that much."
"There's a foe even stronger than him," said Hawkins.
Urogue looked at him and followed his finger, pointing directly at Kia. "Kia! No! How unfortunate; I have a Navy Admiral ahead of me and a Warlord behind. I'm finished!"
"Not necessarily," said Hawkins. "I don't see the shadow of death upon you."
"Oh, is that so?" said Urogue and sat up. "Hawkins of the North Blue. Thanks for the tip, foe maybe."
Kuma then raised his fist, ready to strike Urogue, when suddenly jumping out of nowhere was Drake. He struck Kuma in the face with his axe, followed by a powerful kick, sending him flying into a building.
"Oh good, it looks like someone else decided to join the fight."
"Is that… Red Flag X Drake? Why is he here?"
"Is that the extent of your power, Mad Monk?" Drake asked.
"Ah, it's you again," said Urouge.
"Rear Admiral Drake," said Kia.
"Oh crap," said Drake noticing Kia. "I hadn't planned on running into Kia."
Then suddenly, Urouge bulked up, and his muscles became so large that they caused through his shirt. This transformation surprised everyone. Even Kia was slightly taken aback.
Kuma then got back onto his feet.
"I've taken quite a beating, but let's see if Hawkins' prediction is true or not," he said. "There might be some hope for me yet. Let's start this over nice and slow."
Apoo watched the entire thing with excitement. "Look at this! This is insane! Unbelievable! I'm having a blast here!"
"You're insane; whoever stays here is going to die," said one of his men. "This is our chance to escape."
"Ah, you're no fun," said Apoo. "We're here to party, and that's captain's orders."
Kuma's eyes began to glow as he looked at Urouge.
The Dragon Riders, meanwhile, untangling with their own Kuma.
"Just who is this guy?" Hiccup asked.
"I forgot you were unconscious when this guy showed up," said Astrid as she tightened her grip on her battleaxe. "That's Kuma, the Warlord that showed up after you took down Moria."
Kuma then removed his glove, aiming his palm directly at them.
"Hiccup, don't let that attack hit you! It's a shockwave!" Ragnar yelled.
However, Kuma fired a light beam from his palm instead of a shockwave. The Dragon Riders barely had time to jump out of the way as they were being called a small explosion on the ground.
"Damn!" Eret yelled.
"What is this?" Fishlegs asked.
"Great, so he can do this crap too!" Snotlout moaned.
"I thought you said it was a shockwave; that was a beam of light," said Hiccup.
"Whatever it was, it was pretty awesome," said Tuffnut.
"Yeah, do you think he would do it again?" Ruffnut asked.
"This is no time to be impressed!" Snotlout snapped.
"Kuma Bartholomew, why are you here?" Heather asked.
"That bastard," Toothless growled.
"Things got pretty dicey last time we saw him; he began shooting shockwave from the polls on his hands," said Snotlout. "We barely made it out alive."
Chopper then transformed into his human form. "The fact that we are still alive is probably the reason he came back. In other words, we were lucky last time, and he's here to finish the job."
"But unlike last time, we're not worn out from our battle with Moria," said Astrid.
Eret then placed his hands together, aiming directly in front of Kuma. "So, it's payback time. Coup De Bust!"
He fired his can indirectly at Kuma, striking him so that he was sent flying into one of the mangroves.
"You got him," said Fishlegs.
"Not exactly," said Eret as Kuma got back up. "He's down but not out."
Hiccup then immediately took on his Beta Mode. "Beta Mode! We know he's strong, no question. So, let's go all out from the start."
Everyone nodded in agreement and got ready.
Toothless frowned as something was off. 'Something is off here. He seems different from the last time we met, or am I crazy?'
"Let's go!" Hiccup yelled, and then they charged at Kuma.
The rest of the archipelago is in complete chaos, and sitting on a rooftop was a large man with a giant battleaxe and a scar running across the left side of his face.
"What's taking so long?" he grumbled. "The warships should have been here by now. And why hasn't Uncle Kia contacted me yet? It's chaos already; he had better hurry, or there won't be any rookies left.
